SMILE FOR US JEFF. JUST ONCE
SURVIVOR
-With all the rumors surrounding Probst quitting after this season, I decided to pay extra close attention to him last night. And you know what? He looks miserable. He doesn't smile, he snaps at people, he loves telling tribes how divided they are, and he overall just looks like someone pissed in his Cheerios that morning. Lighten up pal. You're going home to Julie Berry every night. And according to you, "she's taught me what love is about". Don't get me started.
-Whenever someone on this show utters something to the effect of, "I don't care what these people think of me when the game is over. All I care about is what my friends and family think", just assume that person doesn't win. Sorry Judd. When are contestants on this show ever gonna get it through their heads that this game is so much more about developing relationships than anything else. If people like you, you'll do well on "Survivor". If they don't, you won't. Now people can like you but still think you're a weak link and boot you off. But for the most part, loud, obnoxious, outspoken, boisterous people don't fare well on this show, which makes it all the more amazing that Richard Hatch won it. Although, that was the first season, so at the time, nobody really realized what the hell was going on, and that set the bar for things to come.
-In case you didn't know, Blake's girlfriend has DD breasts. Thanks for that Blake. I'm sure she's thrilled you told everyone that last night. If she's smart, you won't be seeing those DD's anytime soon.
-Blake's a fratboy? Blake likes to drink? Blake likes chasing women? No way. Never saw that one. Most frat boys I knew in college were very respectful of girls and never talked about where, when, or how many times they had sex with them before passing them on to one of their other frat boys. I never heard any of that stuff.
-I think if you polled most "Survivor" fans after last season, they'd probably say Stephenie was their favorite character. If you polled fans now, I'm guessing a majority of them would say Stephenie is one their least favorite this season. Her whining and complaining and "I've-already-been-through-this-once" routine has got to be wearing thin on these people. You don't think it is? Look at what Brooke (booted two weeks ago) said about Stephenie on CBS' Early Show, the morning after she got booted:
"Stephanie and Judd were the ones who kind of ran us to the ground during the ax-throwing challenge. We were kind of yelling at them: Switch out. Let someone else try it. It took Stephanie about 30 tries to break the first one. Whereas on the other team, Danni (Boatwright) walks up and in four tries gets it.
"Stephanie is not much of a team player. She brings the team spirit down a little bit. She didn't even know my name and everyone else on the tribe knew each other's name. Lydia's a much more positive person. When I was guarding her in the basketball challenge, she had all the energy."
-Please, please, please don't tell me Lydia skates through under the radar, makes the merge, then somehow weasels her way into the Final Four. Please don't tell me this. Her and her pancake dance need to find their way off the island fast.

From the latest issue of Us Weekly magazine. . .
Jenn Lyon, the hot blonde from Survivor Palau has breast cancer. She's only in her twenties and had to have both breasts removed.
-Says she was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer in May, just after the finale.
-Says her dad's sister died of breast cancer at a young age.
-She had breast implants five years ago.
-She had a successful double mastectomy on August 29.
-The cancer didn't spread anywhere else.
-Coby said he would shave her hair
-She's going back to Oregon for six months of chemotherapy.
-She's not scared of dying of the disease, but of "all the changes," such as "losing her hair" and "not being able to see her friends."
I'm having a hard time believing all of these early ejected individuals and their "it's not fair" whining.
I can't wait to find out the real reason Bobby John and Dannie changed their mind and voted for Blake.
Jennifer lyons is actually in her thirties.
She doesn't look it.
"I'm guessing a majority of them would say Stephenie is one their least favorite this season"
check cbs website...steph is still far and above the favorite survivor!! It's mostly just you recappers who have a hardon for her this season!!
who's jenn lyons? i know i saw palau but i can't remember a jen.
and sorry but, i hate stephenie's whiny ass and i don't recap. everyone i know who watches this show hates her. those 'favorites' results must be from her 1st season.
Jenn Lyon was fifth place last season I think. She was really nice, but she didn't get much air time. She was pretty quiet
I hate StepheME too. She's mean for no reason! It pisses me off that a really nice person like Jenn has cancer and is handling it well, but a jerk like Steph gets another stab at one million dollars and all she does is complain about it! I've seen a lot of stuff about how supportive Jenn's fellow former castaways have been, but I haven't seen anything about Stephenie being there for her. I'll bet Steph is too wrapped up in herself to even care...
