LAGUNA BEACH FINALE
-Excuse me while I wipe away more tears. I just can't take it anymore. Was there anything really that eventful that happened last night? No, just pretty much 22 minutes of people saying goodbye to each other even though everyone outside of Jessica and Taylor all moved up to L.A. But what was the story of the night was seeing clips for LC's "The Hills". That almost brought me out of my haze from watching everyone cry the whole episode. How good does that look? I tell you what, I guarantee it draws more interest than season 3 of "Laguna Beach" does. We'll get to that in a minute.
-The line of the night came from Alex M. when she was saying goodbye to Taylor. (sniffle, sniffle) "Don't make any new best friends." (sniffle, sniffle) Uh huh. Taylor is currently about 3 months into her freshman year at the University of Arizona, and here's a list of things I'm guessing has already happened:
-she's put on 5 lbs.
-the pictures of all the high school friends pinned up in her dorm room haven't come down yet, but they will soon
-she's gotten piss drunk at a party and hooked up with some random frat boy who was wearing his greek hat, khakis, and flip flops
-she's called Alex M. maybe once every two weeks
-she's been asked 5,000 times, "Are you the girl from 'Laguna Beach'"? "What's Jason really like?" "Are Stephen and Kristin gonna get back together?" "Is Kristin really a bitch?" "Does Talan actually think he can sing?"
-she tells everyone, "I'm so glad that show's over"
-So "The Hills" will follow LC around as she starts college, begins her first job at "Teen Vogue", and juggles numerous male play toys on the side. Essentially, it's something that we've all had to do once we graduated high school, except she gets filmed doing it. Fine with me. It'll be a nice change of pace from Laguna Beach where every episode was some beach party, some winter formal, or spring break. As long as we get cameo's from Stephen trying to latch on to her as her career takes off and his goes nowhere, I'm happy. As for Jason, well, that's a given. Whether or not these two are still together shouldn't even matter. I just want to see them go out again to see if Jason's developed any game since high school. I'm guessing not.
-I think people will definitely still watch season 3 once it begins, but they're entering some dangerous waters here if people don't respond well to the new cast. This is kind of like "Saved by the Bell" when Zack, Screech, Slater, Kelly, Lisa, and Jesse graduated, then they gave us six different kids trying to fill their roles. It's just not that easy to duplicate TV magic. Did they actually think they could ever create a love triangle more cheesy than Zack/Kelly/Slater? Or the chemistry that ensued once Slater and Jesse became an item? No couple in television history could re-create something that special. Of course, since then, Slater went on to marry hot Ali Landry for two weeks before cheating on her, and Jesse's career went spinning out of control once she started humping that pole in "Showgirls". Didn't they learn anything from their high school relationship? And yes, I'm getting completely carried away here. I'll stop.
-Don't get me wrong, I'll be glued to season 3 on a weekly basis, but I gotta believe there's a little nervousness heading into next season. And considering one of the featured girls is that sophomore troll that Jason took to prom, that's not a good start. Nothing like starting your television career by having some pea-brained senior cheat on you at his prom. Her self-esteem must be sky high. As is her appetite apparently.

Does anyone know where to find the songs from the season finale 2 episode? I really liked one of the songs, but I don't know what it's called or who sings it.
i think that the 3rd season isnt going to be as go as the first two.

wow,Im just sorry that lc is getting her own show, really i think it would of made alot more sense if kristen would of had a fallow up on her. And no I wont be watching Lc's big ass next season because I love kristen.

llol at all of kristin's jealous little bitches crying cuz lc got her own show. oh well kristin is d listing it up on the red carpet at every little lame event there is just to get her pictures in us magainze which by the way her agent sends out and makes magazines promote their d list stars like kristin in xchange for info on big timers like lindsay lohan. I really dont think im going to enjoy the third season... doesnt it look like they are all the new trashy girls like when casey came on the show? I think that the old girls had class and these girl look a little raunchy ..... Oh no, the third season is going to ruin what Laguna Beach is all about. I feel sorry for anyone who's going to decide watching the 3rd season who hasnt seen the first two. Not only do these kids look like stuck up snots who look like the freshmen class but fake, fake, and fake b/c they will do everything and anything for the camera. So much for watching their real lives. And to think im saying all this from watching a 30 sec. preview!
