ATFR 2 Taping

February 27th, 2009 | 996 Comments | Posted in The Bachelor 13 - Jason

Here’s what I know what happened coming from someone who was there:

-Jillian is announced as the next Bachelorette.
-Melissa was not there. Chris Harrison had a written letter from Melissa that he read which stated she was fine, she’s moved on, and doesn’t regret anything about anything happened.
-Showed the finale and ATFR 1 condensed to the audience into a 90 minute version, so it was basically a clip show of the two shows combined. Jason proposed to Melissa. Him crying on the balcony was after he had let Molly go, and before Melissa had arrived. Melissa obviously accepted the proposal. They leave NZ engaged. (Gee, I said that a month ago).
-DeAnna actually does ask him to take her back, but he’s like, “Look loser, I’m in love with two other women.” So I’m sure she was put put up to that since she just had broken up with Jesse two weeks earlier. DeAnna admitted to choosing the “wildcard”, but said she should’ve picked him instead. Oh please. More B.S. Blah blah blah….

ATFR 1:
-Jason dumps Melissa on camera. When Melissa came out, she was in a somber mood. Like she knew what was about to happen. They barely embraced. Made it seem like Melissa knew it was coming. Jason tells her he can’t stop thinking about Molly. Melissa asks if he had contact with her, he says no. She says, “You chose me, but you’re not willing to fight for me?” Basically accusing him of changing his mind. “We left New Zealand, we spent all this time together, and now you want to spend all this time with someone else. I don’t get it.”
-Jason just says the chemistry is different, and he can’t stop thinking of Molly. So Melissa is pissed that he proposed but basically wussed out and didn’t give their relationship a chance.
-Last thing shown to everyone is Chris Harrison saying, “I’ll leave you two alone to talk”. Then Melissa telling Jason, “Don’t text me, don’t call me, don’t email me, I don’t want anyone contact with you, we’re done.” She gets up, leaves, gets into a limo, and talks to the camera.

-She leaves and they bring Molly out. Molly has NO IDEA this has just happened with Melissa. She thinks she’s coming out to ask Jason her questions, and he explains he just dumped Melissa. Basically telling her he can’t stop thinking about her. Molly keeps looking at Chris Harrison thinking this is all a joke.
-She asks, “What about Melissa?” Jason says “I don’t expect you to get engaged to me now, but can we explore this.” Molly says she’ll give it a chance. Once Molly is over the shock, she says they have a lot to talk about, she feels sorry for Melissa, but she’s willing to see where things go and she can’t help but be a little bit happy. Said her feelings have never changed since getting dumped in New Zealand. Shows ends there.

ATFR 2:
-Chris Harrison talking to Naomi, Nikki, Stephanie, Kari, and Erica live in studio. Gets their reaction to everything that happened. They essentially all bag on Jason saying if he was that conflicted, he should’ve waited and not proposed.
-Took questions and comments from the audience. Some of the girls on stage answered some of the questions, but it was basically getting feedback.
-Jason comes out next by himself. This is when Chris Harrison reads the letter from Melissa. Afterwards, Jason defends his decision saying he had to do it, didn’t want to lead Melissa on, follow his heart, Molly was constantly on his mind, blah blah blah
-Bring Molly out by herself first then Jason joins her. Talk about how everything is great. Rewatches her segment from ATFR 1 and reiterates she was really surprised, had a lot of questions, but Jason answered them. Her family had questions too, but, they’re fine with it now and they love Jason. She’s planning on moving to Seattle once everything dies down. Hope people aren’t mad at him for following his heart. Jason is mad that people are saying bad things about Molly. Molly states for the record, she is NOT pregnant.
-When both out there, Chris Harrison asks Jason at what point he had something for Molly, and audience member screams “The tent!” So they bring the tent out to both of them as their gift.

-Show ends with them bringing Jillian out and announcing her as the next Bachelorette.

Final analysis:

I’ve been vindicated! Thank god. Why would I have lied to you people? I had nothing to gain by lying in all this. Nothing. I was truthful and honest from the beginning. You gotta remember, what was shown to the audience was a 90 minute version of the 2 hr finale and ATFR 1. So things can be spliced up, edited, and shown out of order. But this was the bare bones of what was shown.

So when Melissa asks him, “Did you have contact with Molly?” and he says, “No”, there might be more to it. They didn’t see the whole show, the just saw the highlights of the ATFR 1. I’ll say it now, Melissa suspected Jason was seeing/texting/emailing/talking to Molly. That’s why she asked. There’s no way he didn’t contact her in those two months. Not a chance. But like I said, this is the way I thought ABC would spin this – that he just changed his mind. And that’s what they’re going to present. Hey, if you want to believe that, go ahead. I will always believe differently. He did not just change his mind without having spoken to her in 2 months in my mind. No way.

Also, as some of the bachelorettes said, if he was THAT conflicted at the final rose ceremony, why even propose to Melissa? If you don’t think for a second this was part of a plan, then I don’t know what to tell you. There’s no way anyone in their right mind, if they were truly in love with two people, would propose to one, then two months later, dump her on national television. I’m seriously contemplating printing out the email conversation now between Melissa and Jason that was done after the ATFR 1 was taped. It verifies everything I’m saying here and coincides with what Melissa said at the taping once he broke up with her. All Jason is doing in these emails is apologizing for what he did and wishes he would’ve handled it better and not listened to the producers. Now that we know how this all plays out, you can’t tell me the emails were fake. I’m sorry. I never thought they were, the addresses were verified, and exactly what happened tonight is exactly what’s in them, EXCEPT for the fact that Melissa knew Jason had contact with Molly while they were engaged. And ABC conveniently left that part out. But something still tells they might not have left it out, and we will see the full meltdown. Guess we’ll find out Monday.

So the question til the end of time will be this: When did Molly know about all this? When she left New Zealand, I truly believe Molly knew nothing. She thought it was over and she was heartbroken because she had just been dumped. I’m telling you, I will believe beyond a shadow of a doubt until the end of time, that Jason and Molly were in contact during the two months from the taping of the finale in New Zealand until the ATFR 1 taping in January. Here’s something else to ponder? Why would they bring Melissa out first, have Molly backstage not listening in to anything going on, if they didn’t have ANY idea what was about to happen? Don’t they ALWAYS bring the F2 girl out first on the ATFR shows so she can ask her questions and get her answers first? Please.

In closing, all the phonies out there who tried to tell you Jason and Melissa were happy and engaged, Molly was pregnant, Melissas parents were the real issue, Jason’s mom was posting on message boards, and all the other crazy rumors you’ve heard over the last month, you couldn’t have been more wrong and congratulations on trying to throw people off. The bottom line is I told you on Jan. 27th what the outcome of this show would be, and today’s taping proved it. I’m sure Jasons pleading of “Don’t hate Molly” and “I went with my gut and I’m happy as a clam right now” will tug at the heartstrings of some of you, but hey, I’m not buying it. At all. I believe Jason Mesnick knew during the filming he was going to pick Molly, was told to pick Melissa so they could create this shocking, dramatic finale, and he went along with it. I guess its my word against theirs until eternity. I tend to think my word is worth more.

  2. Elizabeth Says:

    Way to go STEVE!!!!!

NEVER doubted you for a minute. Vindication!

Can’t wait for pinkgirl to come back now.

    Thank you Steve.

  5. VAgirl Says:

My main thought can be summed up quite simply. Jason = lowlife. ‘Nuff said.

I don’t know that I buy the whole he didn’t have contact with Molly bit. Would need to see that part for myself to get an idea if he’s lying or not.

Glad you can finally stop (hopefully) getting grief from so many people, RS. Thanks for telling us what you knew when you did. What a disgusting show. Poor Ty. Poor Melissa. Sick, sick, sick. :(

  6. smp Says:

Very well written & easy to follow.
Can’t wait to read what the Jason/Mel camp will be saying now.

  7. Jill Says:

Dayum, Steve. You nailed it! The edits will of course make Jason and Molly appear favorable. But IMHO, the whole thing smells like a big ol’ bag of dog squeeze.

  8. madz Says:

    Thanks Steve!

    You’re right on.

  9. one with my hoola hoop Says:

Thank you Steve!! I believed you! Now, I don’t have to watch Monday and Tuesday night!

  10. BlondieGal Says:

    Exceptional job Steve! THANK YOU!!!

  11. amy Says:

    thanks steve….JASON=JERKFACE!!!

  12. Needmylifeback Says:

    Thanks so much Steve.
I’m dissapointed. I truly believe he must have contacted her.
And Molly would have sat there possibly knowing he was going to ask to be with her.. wondering if she had to act out the shock or maybe she truly didn’t know. I hope on AFRC1 Melissa clocks him.

  13. sasnyr9 Says:

This will definitely be my last season of TB. Even my second fave, Jillian as the next one up is not enticing enough to get me to watch again. I have really enjoyed the blogs over the past few seasons.

  14. Laura Says:

Rock on Steve! Now all the naysayers will have to eat a healthy portion of crow.

Jason – what a loser. Despite the fact I didn’t like what DeAnna did to him, I didn’t get all that excited about him being the Bachelor. Thought he was a bit too vanilla and not the good looking. I guess they had to do something to make this season exciting. Too bad it was at Melissa’s expense.

  15. BeckyQOC Says:

Well done, RS! I hope you and Maddie have a nice relaxing weekend!

Jillian will make a fine bachelorette!

    It’s been a wild ride…thanks for manning the sail…

  16. The Original TCB Says:

YAY Steve! Woohoo!!! Thanks so much for telling us the real deal!!!

*sigh of relief* now we can function lol

  17. Misty Says:

I’m so sad for Melissa! She really did dodge a bullett though. She and ALL of the women deserve more than Jason ever could give. I really don’t care what happens with him and Molly.

I’m so shocked Jillian is the next vic…er Bachelorette! Ugh, I hope she doesn’t face the back-lash from Jason’s actions.:(

  18. anj73 Says:

I’ve always liked Jason…. until now. He should have NEVER proposed if his feelins were as strong for Molly as they were for Melissa. A woman’s intuition is 95% accurate – Melissa knew there was contact, and so did ABC because they OK’d it.

  19. 1234567 Says:

Well, we were right. He is SCUM. And so is ABC and everyone involved in this.

  20. temopome Says:

I’m with you Steve that there is no way Molly wasn’t in contact with him after they left New Zealand, and she definitely should feel bad for what Jason and she did to Melissa. I’m sure Jason and Molly are not these crazy horrible people, they were just weak and went along with what they were told to do rather than stand by what they believe in and have a back bone. I’m sure they will feel the repercussions of these actions and hopefully it will have taught them a valuable lesson.

  21. GADevildawg Says:

Good job Steve, good point…why bring out Melissa first? Molly didnt know anything? hmmmmm, ok…I will try to think the best but cmon….Jason would have had to have had contact with her…..it will come out I am sure.

  22. cynstriss Says:

Let’s see how many naysayers come on here and apologize. Hmmmmm.

Thank you Steve for getting this posted and I think you are great.

I think it is funny that even Howard Stern said you were wrong. YEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

  23. Yankee Says:

Jason is a spineless worm. I also think they cheated behind her back. They deserve one another. Mel can do better and will.

  24. Just Me Says:

is it just me or is anyone else wondering if Melissa had to give the ring back ?

  25. whoknew Says:

Thank you Steve – I hate the ending, but J isn’t exactly a good catch. I doubt they will make it.

I’m sorry for Mel – hope she is doing alright. Post the e-mails with the addresses deleted so everyone will see that J is a lieing scumbag – and Molly is continuing her role as mistress. Poor J – he thinks we’re holding this against Molly??? NO – J is at fault – and I believe Molly went right along with him. Ultimately, it was J’s responsibility to act like an adult rather than a teenage cad.

Finally – Pinkgirl – you are a liar, too. Hope you enjoyed your game until we all figured you out.

As for TB – I’m finished with it. I’ll read RS’ blogs – but no more of this garbage. It was the last show I watched on ABC network – maybe they need to rethink their programming?? Surely I’m not the only one who feels like this.

  26. The Original TCB Says:

If Deanna was just paid to come and ask Jason to come back to her, how pathetic is that. Why would she want to be painted that way? And if it is real, how pathetic. Either way, she is pathetic.

  27. rms Says:

You rock Steve! This was worth waiting up for-now I can go to sleep. I believed you from the beginning and glad to know that what you’ve revealed has been confirmed. I still want to see Monday & Tuesday to get some closure and put TB to rest. Even though I love Jillian-I don’t think I want to watch the show anymore-…of course I’ve said that for the last several seasons. Somehow I get sucked back in every time. Will try to be stronger this time and resist!

  28. fluffypig Says:

Thank you so much Steve! I have always believed you & thank you for sharing all of your information with us and making this season SO exciting!

I for one would love to read the e-mails you mention!

  29. GADevildawg Says:

Jillian as the TB? What is that abooot? WIll be as lame as when Meridith was TB….not real pretty.

  30. 1234567 Says:

What do you have to say now PINK GIRL??

  31. Joanie Says:

Thanks Steve!! Good job.. I knew you had it right all along. ;)

  32. LMS Says:

    Thanks Steve!

I think the fact that Molly is moving to Seattle confirms, or at least STRONGLY hints that he was cheating on Melissa while they were together. If he only started seeing her after they taped the first AFTR, then really, he’s only been dating her for about a month (and really, that’s after he had JUST dumped his FIANCEE)!! Who in their right mind moves across the country to live with a guy after dating for a month? (Well, and there was those 6 weeks when he was dating the 24 other woman, too!) Seems very likely he was dating Jason while he was engaged — just like you said.

No matter what Jason says about not hating Molly — I think they are both losers. And Jason can say he’s not a “good actor”, but I think that’s such a lie. I’ve seen him pull up many a crocodile tear. I think he’s one of the best actors I’ve ever seen.

Thanks for all your scoops this season!

  33. smp Says:

I’m guessing she had to give the ring back, at FORT they said it was worth $ 68,000. Now how they founf that out, I have no idea. LOL

  34. CarolynNVa Says:

    Steve,
Thank you for exposing this story. No matter what “other” blogger tries to say they broke it, they are LYING. You broke the whole story. I for one appreciate knowing what a total farce this show is.
I feel so badly for Melissa. She didn’t deserve this. As for Jason, he is a low-life scum. “I had to follow my heart blah blah blah” Whatever! As for Molly, there is no way, she can say she didn’t know about all this. She is a low-life too!
I truly hope that Melissa finds a man who will make her happy. I am disappointed that Jillian is the next Bachlorette. I had hoped that she would stay away from this mess.
    Thanks again Steve!

  35. Reality66 Says:

    Thanks Steve!!!
Any word on if Jason asked for the ring back…someone else said that he did–that would be ultimate scum!!!

  36. canusaybrainwash Says:

I have to admit that for one of the people on here who have not agreed with RS’s theory, it is becoming more and more plausible. With this ending, no one is really in the wrong, if you don’t believe it was a total set up; however, as much as I love Jill, if this show ends the way he just described I will never watch it again. But, as I have said, please reserve your opinion for the ending of the show. It could have been an honest change of heart. having said all that..good grief Steve what took ya so long! :)

  37. Queen-Oblivious Says:

Were they all in on it? Why would Melissa be in a somber mood when she showed up, and why would Molly take him back so quickly?

I am going to be watching where Melissa’s career goes. I think Fleiss has much bigger plans than the Bachelor for her.

  38. Just Me Says:

smp…I’m sure it’s in the contract that abc wants their ring back. geez…J lives with his brother and pays child support. LOL

  39. Kerry Says:

Bravo Steve! They will NEVER convince me either that Molly/Jason have not been together since AT LEAST CHRISTMAS TIME. What about their little getaway to Hawaii in January? Molly with the blond highlights darkened to make it appear that Jason was with a “brunette” just in case they were spied? Which they were! Jason is a cheater and Molly is a whore. Nice job ABC conveniently smoothing (outright lying) over that part to make it seem like poor torment Jason had to be honest with himself and Mel on Jan 18 and that poor heartbroken Molly had no hope until that date. Yeah right. I am going to sleuth my ass off to get proof of their Hawaii trip to throw in ABC’s face!

  40. Deb Says:

Wow Steve! Thanks so much for all the time and effort you have put into this. I know it has been aggravating at times. I never doubted what you posted and knew you would not post something without having a reliable source. Keep up the good work! It is very much appreciated! Hope you and Maddie have a great weekend!

  41. The Original TCB Says:

    37. Great point about Melissa. Maybe she just had a feeling, like a lot of women do about her man. who knows.

  42. temopome Says:

I think the reason ABC choose Jillian to be the next bachelorette is because they know there is going to be a backlash and that people aren’t going to want to watch the show. So to counteract this they are using someone the viewers already know and care about to draw them back in.

Everything ABC is doing appears to be some sort of damage control, I think it has to be pretty clear to anyone paying attention to all of this that not everything is on the up and up

  43. San Says:

Wow ! Thanks for the update Steve! Jason did look kinda guilty when he was on The View today. He wouldn’t say he was engaged, just that he was completely in love. And after they questioned him about dumping Melissa to be with Molly, he didn’t want to address that “rumor” but wanted to address the idea that this was NOT all a setup and that he would never go along with something like that. It was very telling after that interview that the part about dumping Melissa was true, otherwise he would have stomped the “rumor” about him dumping a girl on National TV.

I also believe he must have had some contact with Molly before the end of January when the ATFR1 was taped. If he didn’t think Molly was still into him and was going to take him back, I’m sure he wouldn’t have dumped Melissa.

Truly wonder how long this relationship will last!

  44. Kam Says:

If this is how it went down Jason is a horses ass. Who the hell proposes to anyone on national TV without being 1000% sure of which one he really loved? Any sane normal conflicted person would ask to see both girls more (minus the cameras) before making a decision. How lame I couldn’t stop thinking of Molly??? Then why didn’t you pick her Jason?? Did Fleiss flash the big bucks to continue with the farce of a conflicted bachelor? This reeks of a setup and editing to do damage control. There is no way I believe Molly didn’t know a thing for two months and had no contact with Jason and was just all to happy to be sloppy seconds. Melissa not being there is truly telling and I respect her for not playing around when they obviously set her up. Jason Mesnick is a pig and I give him and his witch Molly under 6 months tops.

  45. virginiabeachcheckingin Says:

Thanks for all the hard work Steve!
I don’t think I buy that they had no contact tho (J & Molly) but think Mel is better off; would be shocked if he and Molly ever make it to a wedding date; she won’t last long in Seattle.

As to next season and Jillian – I really like her – surprised in a way that she’s willing to do it – but, I’ll watch anyway most likely. I think she’s strong and won’t be wishy washy about doing anything out of character for her. And who knows, maybe she’ll find that perfect guy!
Going to miss all my new friends on here tho; are you going to keep a blog line open and going?

  46. Jill Says:

I can’t imagine Jason will ever really have a healthy ‘forever’ relationship with a woman. Most of us fall in love more than once in our lives but he seems to fall very quickly and most recently with 2 women at the same time. Geez, give yourself some time to step back and figure things out before jumping to the next one. And about Jillian–I’m really disappointed in her decision to be the next B’ette. Will fans be disgusted with her after her season like so many are with Jason right now?

  47. Sarah Says:

Can’t wait to watch it for myself and see it all unfold. Thanks for prepping us, Steve. (Dying on the inside to know who your sources are lol!)

  48. paridy Says:

Thanks so much Steve for giving us the facts. I knew this season was fishy from the beginning for letting us see who the winner was that is not Fleiss’ style. No matter how much ABC tried to spin it Jason is a tool and Molly is a loser for being with him. Melissa dodged a huge bullet and hopefully she will find the right guy this time. Poor Jillian but I had an idea she was The Bachelorette after Chris asked her at the Women Tell All. Dang Fleiss, he loves to screw with people’s lives. Jerk.

  49. owl Says:

Game, Set and Match to Reality Steve!!!

This scenario is the only one that makes sense and fits with the timeline of events. It also fits in with Molly being seen with Jason in Seattle before the ATFRC#1 taping.

This whole end of season was a farce and Melissa got screwed.
Jason & Molly are scumbags for going behind Melissa’s back while engaged. I don’t think they could bring both Mel and Molly out on the stage together cause Mel would have gone off. Its possible they even tapped Mel & Molly’s portions separately. I also feel sorry for Ty-his dad’s got problems.

I guess I this point I’m really hoping for a brain fart by ABC and that they hang Jason out to dry by showing the full blowup when Mel knew they were seeing each other while engaged. They won’t but I can hope. Giving them the tent is super classless. What a shew!

Wow, I can’t wait until Monday. I hope they show Mel going off.

    The Owl.

  50. Joy Says:

Thanks so much Steve – worth the wait for sure! I have no idea how this ending feeds the idea that Jason comes out smelling like a rose? I get the spin that he was following his heart but he still comes off pretty sleazy.

  51. lemon Says:

    1) Steve, a whole lot of people owe you apologies, but you won’t hear from 99% of them

    2) Jason should have NEVER proposed to Melissa if his feelings for Molly were that strong

    3) Jason is a complete and utter spineless jerk for waiting to break the news to Melissa on camera. “They made me do it.” wah wah wah. Grrrr.

I’m just glad I wasn’t a Jason fan after DeAnna’s season, it would hit me really hard to see someone I really liked behave this way.

    4) They so obviously made DeAnna ask for another chance, talk about scripted! De, I hope they paid you a lot of money. Sheesh.

  52. Just Me Says:

RS – I personally want to thank you again. I think now we can all take the weekend off – relax and enjoy our lives – our own realities should be more important than TB.

So, when does Big Brother start ? hahahahaha

  53. Bunny15 Says:

Just want to say thanks for the scoops this year. Great Job. Can’t wait to get back to the usual Snark posts you are so famous for.

PS. So who’s is the evil one Ben or Widmore?

  54. NYgal Says:

Thanks Steve. I have no words for what Jason did. I’m through with this show. As much as I like Jillian, I wish she didn’t agree to become the new bachelorette. Her image will never be the same. Look what happened to Jen, Deanna, and Jason the second time around.

  55. alltimebachfan Says:

THANK YOU STEVE!! you’ve been great throughout this entire week and you’ve been a ton of help.

Jillian’s season will be a farce unfortunately, as much as i liked her, 3 from each other’s seasons in a row is one bad idea.

Too bad Melissa can’t throw her ring at Jason. I think nothing of Jason and little of Molly. i am sure she has been in touch with him, she isn’t coming out of this smelling like roses by any means.

Melissa deserves much better and i wish her the best. I bet even kind Stephanie has a true change of heart toward Jason now.

Yes, ABC had to make it look good for themselves and make Jason the fall guy. what a crud to do that to a woman. what was he thinking???

well more tomorrow folks, i’ve truly enjoyed the craziness of being with everyone tonight. goodnight.

  56. jpchick Says:

thanks for posting the truth, Steve. You’ll definitely be vindicated when all this comes down Monday and Tuesday. Clearly, you were right all along and ABC is spinning this exactly as we knew they would have to.

Jason and Molly deserve each other. If Jason truly didn’t want Molly being disrespected, then he shouldn’t have put her in the position where she would look like a deceitful slut.

Melissa is wise to run as fast and as far away from Jason and this show as she can possibly get. She deserves so much better than they can offer her.

  57. D-Lo Says:

Way to go Steve! There is no way that he hadn’t seen Molly since NZ and I’m interested if it will be apparent that she’s “lying” when she is shocked by him wanting to be with her. No girl would give a guy who not only dumped him but proposed to another girl 2 months before without thinking it over and/or saying they needed to talk before she could decide. And if Melissa comes out in a somber mood that is probably b/c she had a feeling something was going on with Molly. Maybe him not being available certain weekends, acting distant, etc.

I also thought he was a loser with a capital L and now it is confirmed. In the real world none of these girls would even be remotely interested in him.

    So they’re not engaged??

  58. Seashells Says:

Go Steve!! Haha :) Can’t wait to see it on one hand, and on the other, gosh, I still feel so awful for Melissa. Good for her for not doing the ATFR2!

  59. Rosehasthorns Says:

THANK YOU STEVE!!!!! After all the grief you got, you need to enjoy telling the naysayers “I TOLD YOU SO” You got a new fan in me!!!

  60. Needmylifeback Says:

Gosh I wish Melissa could do an interview with Steve…. that would be sweet.. find out more why she suspected he might have been talking to Molly.

  61. whoknew Says:

I really don’t think ABC put Jason up to this – I think he’s just sleazy and operates in this manner. He’s a cheater – and we already knew Molly was because of her relationship with Brian from the golf course. That’s okay because they won’t last – they’ll cheat on each other. And I really don’t care if they make it or not – they deserve each other.

I love Jillian and think she will make a great Bachelorette – just don’t know why she would want to. She’s pretty independent – and adventurous – so she might really enjoy the process, whether or not she meets her husband.

I hope Mel got to keep the ring – after what she’s been put through, she’s earned it. It’s time for her to move on and have a great life.

J makes Brad look like a Saint – and D an angel!

  62. Kerry Says:

Here’s another lie for the timeline. It has been stated on FORT that Molly returned to work on Jan. 16 – a Friday. Right before a 3 day holiday weekend? Only to fly back to LA the next weekend for ATFR1? Not buying it. Tramp. Whore. Cheater. Liar. Skank. Look for evidence of Jason and Molly in Hawaii before ATFR1.

  63. firsttimeon Says:

WOW! :0 I can’t say I am totally in agreement with the whole “ABC is in on it thing”, but I feel one thing for certain. (Sorry if this has already been mentioned). Jason did NOT want to be let down, or made to feel like he did on Deanna’s season. There is NO way he wasn’t seeing Molly and didn’t have her absolute WORD that she would accept him. Remember him grilling Jill? He wanted to be sure that she would pick HIM in the end. Same thing here- while he apparently could care less about rejecting others- there was no way HE was going to get rejected this season- he made certain of that.

  64. The Original TCB Says:

    49. owl I totally agree with you about the tent being classless. Like they’re proud. Wow Molly’s mother must be real proud, everyone laughing about their “time in the tent” bleecchh

  65. aseattlegal Says:

RS you rock. Haven’t questioned you for a second. This is GREAT stuff and I love spoilers. This is the ultimate. THANK YOU! I have a friend who does sound for the bachelor and I can never get anything out of that guy, so it’s awesome that you have insider info.

I do think Jason is a total douche. And, he was totally in the wrong for proposing and then dumping Melissa on camera. But, I feel really indifferent when it comes to the “cheating” portion of it. Even if he dumped Melissa for Molly after the fact it doesn’t phase me. After all, these people went on a show to compete for one guy, so they knew what they were getting in to.

Overall, both these ladies are way too good for Jason. He is just an ass. He looks sweet. And, people tend to love him because he’s an involved dad. That doesn’t make you a good husband! It makes you a good sperm donor and a lover of children. Not a loving, responsible and faithful partner.

I really wish Jillian would have said no to the bachelorette. She’s a fab woman and deserves more than the edit she’s about to face next season. Crossing my fingers that she is the person ABC edited on the bachelor and hope there are some decent men vying for her attention.

  66. sjs Says:

    Thanks Steve!

I’m disappointed that Jillian is doing the Bachelorette. I really liked her and I don’t want to see her get dragged into this mess. But I still plan on watching!

Is it possible that the switch wasn’t planned with Jason agreeing to it, but instead that the producers just manipulated and encouraged Jason to pick Melissa, knowing he really wanted Molly? So yeah the producers planned it and banked on him “changing his mind”, but Jason didn’t really know about the plan. He was just encouraged by them to pick Melissa, then later they planted ideas of doubt about Melissa in his head knowing that he still had feelings for Molly. So now Jason can say it was all his doing and his real feelings and nothing was set up (that he knew about).

It does sound kind of like Jason talked to Melissa before the show, maybe just told her things weren’t going as well as he hoped, so she wasn’t completely blindsided on camera. But I’ll have to watch her reaction for myself.

I’m still puzzled how Jason was going all around telling everyone how happy and in love he was just days before this ATFR taping. I know he has to contractually, but this guy really isn’t that good at hiding his true feelings.

Been fun on this blog tho.

  68. Kerry Says:

I also don’t believe Mellissa wrote that letter. I’m sure it was Fleissed.

  69. sohoman Says:

    Steve,

Please release the email conversation now between Melissa and Jason that was done after the ATFR 1 was taped. It would be a gift to Melissa and her fans and a kick in the Balls of ABC. I am very happy she is not engaged to him, she will do a million times better!

  70. Seashells Says:

I know this is dumb, but a tiny part of me is still hoping Jillian will find some nice guy and it’ll be another Trista and Ryan . . . sigh. She seems stronger as a person if that makes sense, and possibly capable of doing that. I know, I know, dumb . . . but I can hope! :o P

  71. CrazyWorld Says:

WTG Steve !, Jason and Molly won’t last no way !

  72. c-gal Says:

Melissa will get a series out of this.
    Molly will only get heartache.

  73. CrazyWorld Says:

And, believe they were all in it together and at end process will benefit some type of contract , such phonies !!!

  74. Nocturnal Says:

OMG, LOVE YOU, RS!!!!!!! You rule!!!!!! Love that you kept us in the know!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jillian and am soooooo happy she’s the next Bachelorette! I’ll watch it again and again (pronounced ah-gayne).

Soooooooo disappointed in Jason. I really thought he was a good guy. He says he never had any contact with Molly, and maybe he didn’t in person, but he had to have been emailing or something. Although if they say Molly looked shocked, then maybe they didn’t have contact, who knows? But he should NOT have proposed if he was that conflicted. Glad Melissa had the guts to stay off the air for ATFR2.

Can’t believe DeAnna actually wants Jason back?! Whatever? That HAD to have been a setup- hellooooooooo? Can’t you just call the guy? Could have saved ABC some airfare $$$ to NZ? She had to have just been paid for that appearance, come on…..

  75. aseattlegal Says:

ps. what does the whole “molly and brian from the golf course” mean? Who is brian from the golf course? Is that her supposedly married ex? and, who provided proof of this info?

  76. LaLa Says:

I love it! HAHA! Take that! And thank goodness, my mind can calm now! Way to go RS. I knew you wouldnt risk it if you werent sure! Awsome!

Now, I cant believe it! *gasp* Jason is such a jerk! Well, its like you knew the truth but now you really know the truth. Such a roller coaster RS. And I loved every minute!

  77. bellablue Says:

If it wasn’t for those emails that RS says he has, I would actually find a way to believe that Jason was NOT coerced into doing this by the producers.

I would buy that he is just wishy-washy, fearful about decisions, second-guesses himself, easily persuaded.

But if you really have those emails. Then, I don’t know.

    QUESTIONS:

    – All those early reports of the crew really rooting for a specific contestant early on, and really hoping that those two make it…. Remember that? Were they referring to Melissa? Because I think those articles came out before they broke up…

Do the emails confirm that this was planned from the beginning, OR do they confirm that he was coerced into breaking up with her ON CAMERA? Those are two different decisions on Jason’s part.

    - At this point, I would imagine that Melissa is mad at the ABC network and this show. IF in fact, this was a producer-inspired plot, Melissa would know this by now. AND SHE WOULD TELL HER FRIEND JILLIAN NOT TO DO THE SHOW. Seriously, if she and Jill were so close, and Melissa was so burned by these people intentionally, WHY would Jillian want any part of it?? She was there too! Why would she trust them?

That’s the only thing that makes me question how much of this was producer-inspired. For some reason, Jillian is willing to be a part of this again. And she seems like a smart cookie.

But then again, Jason used to seem like he had a heart of gold. On The View, when Jason was describing what Melissa was like using all these great adjectives (“She’s beautiful, fun, amazing…”), Joy interjected, “and she’s available”.

    And Jason laughed.
    I thought that was rude.

Still, despite her 5 minute appearance, I think it’s Deanna that’s going to come out of this looking the worst of all.

  78. CrazyWorld Says:

70- I’m with you. I believe Jillain took the high road and I wish her all the best and will be watching her next season..

  79. The Original TCB Says:

Man, they suck. Wonder what everybody’s MAMA feels about it?

Can you imagine if these were your kids?

  80. tvjunkie Says:

    Thanks Steve!

I am disappointed, disgusted, and just feel like I need a shower.

ABC and Chris Harrison should be ashamed of themselves! I have watched every season of TB, and I think I am done. I don’t think I can bear watching Jillian go through this mess.

My heart breaks for Melissa. I hope she knows that people out there are rooting for her and that we are on her side.

Jason is an asshole. Molly is a whore. And ABC- really? Giving them the tent? Lower than low.

  81. javajolt Says:

Thank you RS for setting the record straight. I believed you from the start but had a hard time with the pre-planned part and am still wondering exactly what transpired. Anyway I appreciate your willingness to share all this because this season was absolute BS and a despicable example of what reality TV has become! Kudos to you for getting the truth out there. I for one will never believe anything that MF or ABC says About the outcome or the process their credibility is zero and yours is outstanding. One last thing Jason really is a very screwed up human being, maybe he should look up Nadya S. I hear she is available. Great reporting RS!

  82. The Original TCB Says:

    77 Excellent post!

  83. smp Says:

#75 – at this point nothing is proven re: country club/Brian. I think someone (not Steve) may be looking into it but I am inclined to give Molly the benefit of the doubt as there have been so many untrue rumors through all this.

  84. Yankee Says:

It could be that Jillian agreed before all this went down. If she said yes in early or mid-January she might have already signed the contract.

Jill is strong, smart and together so I don’t see her as someone so easily to manipulate. I hope she finds true love.

  85. tvjunkie Says:

oh, Steve…. As much as I REALLY REALLY want you to post the emails…. I don’t know if you should out of respect for Melissa. Unless, of course, she gives you the ok :)

  86. Imsotired Says:

Holy cow. You prepared us for it, but still… yipes.

I’d love to say I’m done with TB, but I know I’ll be sucked right back in.

And to #25 The Original TCB re: Deanna

I suspect she probably asked Jason to take her back (knowing he wouldn’t) so she could once again be “the victim.” She must feel that “poor Deanna” plays better than “fickle, attention-seeking, publicity hound Deanna.”

  87. Kerry Says:

Jason could have broken up with Melissa in private, however he made the choice to follow the producers “suggestion” that he do it on the “intimate set” instead. I will forever despise this weak little man for that as well as the fact that I know he is flat out lying about when he and Molly had “contact” after NZ. Jason is too weak and too much a wuss to defy the contract and contact Molly on his own – you KNOW he got that sanctioned by TPTB first. Then the weak little hair-plugged wuss went along with the set-up of Melissa (who probably had bad vibes but didn’t “know”) for The.Most.Dramatic.ATFR.Ever.

How on earth has he explained this behavior to his son?

Shame on him. I hope his kid disowns him and goes to live with his mother when he is old enough. Hope the piece of ass that you’ll get for 6 months maximum was worth it Jason.

  88. Nocturnal Says:

Forgot to say, RS, PLEASE RELEASE THE EMAIL between mel and Jason- you can hide the email addresses- it will prove that ABC manipulated the wholen thing! DO IT, RS! DO IT! DO IT! You know you wanna!!!!!!

  89. tvjunkie Says:

Kerry- I agree with everything you have posted wholeheartedly.

  90. chrissy71 Says:

Never doubted you for a minute Steve. I feel so badly for Melissa.

  91. Kam Says:

#77 you make a good point Jillian and Melissa became very good friends..why would she agree to go on after seeing this train wreck? That scumbag Fleiss must have had to offer her double the regular going rate to recover from this ending that nobody will buy was an innocent mistake or change of heart. Cha-ching and good luck to you Jillian. I don’t know if I can stand another season though and i have watched it from the beginning.

  92. refusetobeduped Says:

I’ve only been on your blog two weeks, but you’re the man. My only wish is that I had discovered you earlier instead of being duped all those seasons.

Two thoughts here. I agree with you about the Jason/Molly contact during the engagement, because I think insecure, selfish Jason would never have dumped Melissa if he did not know he had Molly in the bag. Yeah, like he’d get rid of Melissa knowing he didn’t have a backup for sure — I think not.

Second thought. I admit I’ve been team Jillian all the way after the hometown visit. But the more I realized how smart, sincere and genuine she was, I came to the conclusion she was way out of Jason’s league and how lucky she was to be F3 and escape this mess. I am actually disappointed she agreed to be the next Bachelorette–I truly thought she had more sense. Because she appears to be such an outstanding person, I’m sorry she will be put through he “Fleissinator” next season.

    Lots of luck sweet Jill.

  93. Kerry Says:

Post the emails Steve. Expose Jason and ABC for the lying, whore-mongers that they are. You’ve come this far – they are still spinning just as you said they would by trying to make the public believe that Molly was not complicit in this until ATFR1. You’ve outed them so far – put the nail in the coffin. Otherwise they can say you DIDN’T get the story right.

  94. The Original TCB Says:

    86. Imsotired You know what? You’re probably right. Because she REALLY played that up, all that victim crap. Til we were all really sick of hearing about it. Like, how dare anybody hurt HER? Please.

  95. aseattlegal Says:

I think I mentioned that I do love Jillian. And, I too hope she finds true love. But, it makes me nervous because a LOT of us felt the same about Jason. And, look how that’s turned out.

This show does a great job of ruining reputations. That’s all….

  96. memyselfandi Says:

I’m truly happy that you have been vindicated Steve but I’m so saddened for Melissa. I’m truly over everything Bachelor/ette. Thanks Steve, you certainly made it an interesting season :D

  97. tmpray Says:

    Thanks for the update Steve.

I can’t believe Jillian is going to be the next Bachlorette. I’m not sure I’m happy about this though. I think she is wonderful, I just don’t want to see her get Fleissed.

As far as Jason/Molly go….once a cheater, always a cheater. Good luck to them.

  98. Kerry Says:

Thanks tvjunkie – can you tell I’m pissed? Not at him changing his mind – that’s to be almost expected given the circumstances – but to be a weak lying wuss. There is a special place in hell for people who deliberately manipulate or allow themselves to be talked into deliberately manipulating someone FOR RATINGS and $$$$$.

  99. CrazyWorld Says:

Let’s face it, these grown mature women joining this reality show and advised what they are getting into from the very start.. They are not children therefore should understand the consequences.. Leads me to believe, these women join to get exposure, fame and fortune !! .

  100. chocolateluvr Says:

    Steve,

Great job! Truly never had a doubt about any of your revelations & predictions.

Please, please, please post the email(s) between Jason and Melissa, but without including their email addresses or email domains.
Your ever growing fan base will be very appreciative!!! :)

  101. Nocturnal Says:

RELEASE THE EMAIL, RS!!!!! DO IT for your loyal fans! Do it to stick it to ABC! Vindicate Melissa! And do it before Monday because there will be too much to discuss after Monday. DO IT!

  102. palm Says:

Access Hollywood’s source confirmed that Jason was in the plan and agreed “hook, line and sinker” to go along with it.

A person like Jason with a narcissistic personality cannot resist the tempation when told he would be the star of the “most dramatic bachelor ever” even if he had to humiliate Melissa. Melissa’s pain does not register with him. The crying is to make himself appear to be sensitive and thus more popular with the audience.

  103. The Original TCB Says:

I vote YES on the emails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  104. ruher Says:

WOW! There sure are alot of HARSH comments on this. I don’t think we’ll ever know the “real” story. One can’t know anothers motives. That said, I think I’ll just watch Mon. & Tue. & see what it looks like. GOOD JOB STEVE!!!

  105. tvjunkie Says:

ok – i will stoop to begging as well.

PLEASE PLEEEEEASE POST THE EMAILS. PLEASE? PLEASE?

    Pretty please?

  106. Nocturnal Says:

OK, now I’m too hyped up to go to bed with all this drama!!! Sheesh!

  107. smp Says:

Another vote for the e-mail release!

  108. CrazyWorld Says:

Yankee , I agree Jillian is very strong, will be fine and handle next season very well ! Molly and Jason and ‘ that tent’ omg what a joke, * gag *.

  109. Kerry Says:

So since Nordstrom’s is in Seattle, I guess the complicit whore will apply there to be an “assistant” to a buyer when she moves?

I propose a letter writing campaign beginning tomorrow to Nordstrom’s stating that “I will never shop at one of your stores again, if I were to find out that you would hire someone of such bad character and zero integrity”.

  110. tvjunkie Says:

Kerry- I feel the same way. I am just so irritated on Mel’s behalf. I know that she knew that taking on TB would be risky, but I don’t think she ever imagined getting treated in such a fashion.

I’m going to say this again, just because it makes me feel better. Jason is an asshole. Molly is a whore.

  111. Nocturnal Says:

Anyone have the link that talks about Molly and Jason in Hawaii prior to ATFR1? And truth to that, RS?

  112. The Original TCB Says:

    110. tvjunkie LOL

  113. mick1023 Says:

The only good news in all of this is that everyone will know, for sure, that you are a reputable and accurate source. All of this just stinks. Jason, what were you thinking? I never liked Molly and never could pinpoint why. Now I know why, she is sneaky and a cheater (that’s what it’s called when you “carry on” a relationship with an engaged guy.) Thanks, Steve for putting the “real” in reality television.

  114. ellieJ Says:

Oh Canada no wait, Oh Jillian, sweet Jillian why????????? just why did you accept to be on a show that will ruin your life forever???? I like her so much that I wished I could be her friend to tell her not to do it.But I guess it’s too late now.Maybe she’ll be a surprise and make this show watchable for once.I have hope. That’s for sure.

I watched this season only and only because of her,I’ve become a fan and can’t deny that I’m happy.I’m excited to watch her journey in finding ” true love”.But once again for her sake I just wish she had said “NO and a big NO” to that evil producer.Anyhow I wish her the best.

Steve, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made this season exciting.I for sure have become a fan of you too and will read your blogs. Some jerks accused you of being dishonest but I truly believed you from the beginning.I hope you continue with your spoiling once in awhile

  115. Nocturnal Says:

Now, Now, I’m not a huge Molly fan, but calling her a wh### is a bit much. He said they didn’t have sex in the tent. And no one has given proof yet that she dated a married man- YET. And if she did look shocked then maybe she didn’t know. IF she did know and saw him while he was engaged then that’s a different story. I think all the bad press about Molly will tear them apart.

  116. Charmed1 Says:

I vote yes on revealing the emails. I do not think having the emails released will hurt Melissa any, it will just prove what a low life Jason and Molly are. She cannot do it herself, do her a favour and do it for her. I don’t want ABC, Jason & Molly to get away with this.

  117. jenica Says:

Adding another “yes” vote re: releasing the emails (minus the email addresses)…

I know you’re reluctant to do so out of respect for Mel’s privacy, which I’m completely behind – BUT if you were her, under contract, unable to get out the word on how ABC completely screwed and manipulated her, wouldn’t you want the truth validated? I know I would. It’s the perfect way to expose Fleiss & Co. without getting Mel in trouble. If there are raw, emotional parts in the email that you wouldn’t want made public if you were Melissa, I say leave those out – just post the parts that support conspiracy theory.

  118. CrazyWorld Says:

check out jokers, apparently boards mentioning there are pics on there showing Molly and Jason in Hawaii, in her ‘ ugly ‘ ponytail hairsytle with a long stylish wedding dress..

  119. CrazyWorld Says:

nvm these 2 bimbos, what about poor innocent 4 yr old TY????…

  120. bellablue Says:

    Waaaaaaaiitttt a minute.
    I just figured something out.

Deanna comes back to tell him she “made a mistake” by choosing “the wild card” and that she should have chosen Jason, the “safe guy”.

That inspires Jason not to make “the same mistake”. So he proposes to Melissa, who seems more “safe” (???) rather than Molly, the crazy wild card who loves bungee jumping.

    However.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE was Deanna asked to come back?
WHY did she break up with Jesse 2 weeks before she came back?
WHAT did the producers think she was coming back to say to him?

If this was all pre-planned, do you think she was brought in to “soften the blow” for the audience, so they would see how remorseful someone becomes when they don’t “follow their heart”? So that perhaps, when Jason switched over to Molly later on, we would have sympathy for him, because he didn’t wind up regretful like Deanna did. Was that supposed to help the audience see Jason as “strong”?

Well, if that was the big plan….
    Hello Back? Meet Fired.

  121. palm Says:

Great work Steve! Now I won’t watch–except maybe that part with Melissa. Jason has always creeped me out, even on Deanna’s season. That whiny voice, and those rehearsed lines, and that contant reminding that “I’m such a nice guy…” There is a reason he went after the two youngest girls there. I think he has some serious psychological issues.

Melissa dodged a bullet big time–this guy is bad news. Molly, even though she sounds very mature, is young and will realize he’s not for her. I hope she didn’t give up her job for him…

  122. smp Says:

I don’t dislike Molly as much as the majority but I simply never could stand Jason. He bugged the hell out of me from the 1st show and my distain just kept getting worse.

  123. The Original TCB Says:

what’s the joker link with the pictures??

  124. yoduhh Says:

Him crying on the balcony was after he had let Molly go, and before Melissa had arrived. Melissa obviously accepted the proposal. They leave NZ engaged.
    ===================================================
i didn’t buy that crying scene. the camera crew just happened to, be there underneath the balcony and not missing a shot of jascum’s impromptude whine fest. reminded me of susan smith’s crying to he media, a carjacker took my children.

not buying it. the first week of january jason was all happy and in love, and about 9 days later he’s dumping melissa on national tv. jascum said he was responsible for the choices, so be it his choices played people bottom line.

  125. San Says:

Well, I don’t imagine too many will have much faith in it working out long term between Jason and Molly. I wonder if Jason knows what it takes to make a marriage work. With both Melissa and Molly it seemed to be a lot of physical attraction. It’s easy to be physically attracted to two women at the same time, and maybe Jason confuses that as being in love. Maybe that’s why it didn’t work out with his ex-wife.

Now that Jillian is the next Bachelorette, I can picture it now – Jason returning to the show to tell Jillian how he made a HUGE mistake and wants her in his life! Now that would make for some good TV! LOL :)

  126. The Original TCB Says:

I didn’t know that RS did a chat on the jokers site??? Did anyone read that?

  127. CrazyWorld Says:

I feel sorry for Molly, she is only 24 yrs old and entering into an advanced family addition. I do hope her family have influence with her future decisions with Jason..

  128. Lyndsay Says:

I don’t know WHY the producers would think this was a good idea. It was bad bad bad and I hate Jason and Molly :-)

  129. Kam Says:

#115 Yeah they didn’t have sex in the tent cause Jason is such a stud and as he put it “they were only in the tent 3 hours” yeah right Jason so what did you do for the other 178 minutes???? LMAO

  130. Charmed1 Says:

A couple of things I’ve been thinking about:

    1. DeAnna asking him to take her back..no way that was definitely a plot point, planned out, she did not want him. So DeAnna asking for her F2 back and then low and behold what does Jason do…ask for his F2 back. Coincidence..I think NOT!

    2. Molly asking Jason on the fantasy date..what if you choose the wrong one?? Coincidence, again I think NOT.

  131. CrazyWorld Says:

129- Yea I’d like to believe what Jason says but what man will spend most of an evening in a tent just kissing and talking???, Maybe the ‘ tent date’ sealed the deal ???.. lol

  132. Yankee Says:

    129-LOL.

  133. refusetobeduped Says:

Does anyone have the link to the Hawaii picture on The Jokers site? It is impossible to find anything there.

  134. Yankee Says:

Dee wants to be with Jason as much as I do. Hope she got a nice check for that one. lol

  135. The Original TCB Says:

    133. refusetobeduped That is exactly what I am trying to figure out. Someone please help us! :)

  136. Charmed1 Says:

How cold is it to break up with one person one minute (on camera no less) and go right into asking the next girl out. How classless is that. That is so wrong. Where is the compassion and common decency in that. Shame on you Jason, shame on you!!

  137. bellablue Says:

#32LMS — I think you made a really good point. Why would Molly move to Seattle after one month of dating that wasn’t exclusive, just a few weeks after he just broke up with his fiance whom he dumped her for? Why would she be OK with that? That doesn’t really seem…. healthy.

#37Queen-Oblivious — Very good point! Perhaps they compensated Melissa by giving her a new reality show all to herself that we don’t know about yet.And that’s why she’s fine with it all.

#102palm — I think you are right when you said, “Melissa’s pain does not register with him.” Otherwise, he would never have been laughing about it on The View. If he was registering all of this, he would be carrying suitcases full of guilt into his relationship with Molly. Maybe it will hit him later. He’s too busy defending himself now and trying to prove himself.

RS — Why did you and Meghan seem to have this subtle dig reference to Molly the whole interview? I kept waiting for you guys to clarify that. Meghan at the time said she didn’t know if the rumors were true about Molly and Jason, right? So why would she harbor any ill feelings towards her?

The truth is, Jason didn’t seem like a very deep guy.
And Molly was certainly not a very deep girl.
Just because Jason is affectionate and a wide-eyed listener, doesn’t mean he actually has a lot to say.
Perhaps Molly is actually the safer pick.
She won’t ask too much of him.

  138. Nocturnal Says:

I believe that nothing happened in the tent- he said “first base” was all- I can see them just making out and sleeping and talking, enjoying some time away from cameras…

  139. Kam Says:

Gotta laugh since I don’t have a punching bag close by…oh well maybe ABC will film their marriage in the tent at a later date…

  140. larouquine Says:

Its a tuff world.. you make us come back on our feet again.. You have that potential to be a great leader in a field you excel at…

..Just look at B. O’Bama… he is only one man.. but people listen to him.. they like his people skills and his smile..

    Ok..its late..I am going overboard..haha.. just tired..
and my point was simply to say..you were a pleasure to read.

ps.. sorry for my imperfect English.. I am a French canadian.

    Good night

  141. qusan Says:

I don’t believe this was a set up at all. I could tell Jason was a sleaze on Deanna’s season by the way he kept throwing his ex under the bus. I don’t know what happened with her and Jesse (he’s no saint) and perhaps she didn’t need too much prompting to honor her contract and do what ABC asked her to do since it was only a couple of weeks later and Jesse had been crying all over any video he could get out. Jason was stripped of his questionable manhood when his pregnant wife left. What better revenge than to date and screw (or at least make it appear that way) as many women as he could then dump one of them and choose another. I saw him on The View today and was totally creeped out. He needed his ego boosted and he, who is 32, picked one of the youngest chicks on the show. I’m just so sure he is looking for a wife …

  142. Kam Says:

Nocturnal did you believe Clinton that he did not have sex with that woman” also?

  143. Nocturnal Says:

Jokers link to Hawaii pics please??????

  144. teegoogles Says:

Love it, Steve! Hilarious that there are *still* some doubters. People are ridiculous. Thanks for guiding us through the storm!

  145. The Original TCB Says:

Jokers says that everyone is telling Jason off on his myspace, which was logged into today. Don’t know if it was by him or not, but somebody logged on.

  146. ThatIsAll Says:

RS, I have been reading your column for as just about as long as you’ve been writing it. Got myself a shiny new name, now that we have to register, too. :o )

I can’t say I won’t ever watch again, because I have to watch to be able to read your column and relate to your wonderful snark! I always watched TB with a bit of a jaded eye, but this season really takes the cake. Fleiss has sunk to a new low, if that was possible, and the whole thing is just a mess. Anything for those ratings, I suppose.

I really hope poor Jillian doesn’t get Fleissed, but I am sure she will.

Thanks for all your hard work this season, Steve, and for putting up with all of use who were dying to know what was going on!!

  147. The Original TCB Says:

Jokers says that everyone is telling Jason off on his myspace. And that he logged into it TODAY. Don’t know if it was him or not, but somebody logged in.

  148. Nocturnal Says:

Kam, I know it sounds like I’m sticking up for Jason, and I’m not, I just think that it was too early in the show for them to have any sex going on- they barely knew each other and nobody seemed drunk or anything.

And Qusan— I didn’t know his ex was pregnant when she left him? Is that true?

  149. The Original TCB Says:

oops I can’t tell if my posts are going through….sorry

  150. ellieJ Says:

Oh and by the way please release the emails Steve.

I want to know how Jason justifies his shameful actions.Poor Melissa,my heart goes out to you girl :( (((

  151. The Original TCB Says:

I don’t even know if these “Hawaii pics” exist! I can’t find them. I give up.

  152. Deb Says:

Jason and Molly should move to Hollywood so Jason can pursue his acting career. I know that sounded kind of harsh, but geeze, since he can cry on cue, he would be a great (amazing) soap actor. LOL. Melissa is actually lucky he ended up with Molly. Anyone who can be “in love” with three people within a one year time span is not marriage material IMO.

  153. LaLa Says:

    The Original TCB -

Some people are telling him off, but that has been going on since RS first released information. He has a lot of fans on there too that are sticking up for him.

  154. Kam Says:

Hey Noc no worries about the tent scene. I remember thinking at the time that it was so tacky for ABC and Jason to imply that early in the season that he had this extended intimate possible sex tent party with Molly. Only 3 know for sure and the tent’s not talking…lol

  155. Mandy Says:

re the Hawaii pics mentioned at Jokers. It was from a post at TWOP:

Not only do I think it’s Melissa (I’d be shocked if it isn’t), I think they might either already be married or be about to get married. Jason was spotted at some fancy resort in Hawaii being filmed by a crew. He was with (as in with) a “petite brunette with a ponytail.” The girls who saw him there were not able to get a pic, but they were almost positive it was Melissa.

    http://forums.jokersupdates.com/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Board=TheBachelor&Number=10855041&page=&view=&sb=5&o=&rc=

  156. The Original TCB Says:

    153. LaLa I know they have been doing that. I saw it too. But my point is that he hadn’t logged on since Dec. And now it was today.

  157. whatascumbag Says:

I totally believed you from the beginning, there are some people who just don’t want to believe there is evil and manipulation in this world… Come on why would Jason bawl like a baby after dumping Molly if that isn’t who he truly wanted to be with.. and I know I read somewhere that Jason flew into a local airport by Molly’s house in MI either the end of Dec or beg of Jan b/c the pilot announced they had a celebrity on board.. BUSTED!!!! This person states it’s a peddle jumper airport and there would be no reason to be there except to see Molly. There is really something that bugs me about Molly, don’t get a good vibe at all… Best of luck to them, poor Ty!!!

  158. Kerry Says:

So I guess when Molly makes Jason’s brother move out he can sleep in the tent, huh?

Gee, I hope that kid absolutely HATES her and hates sharing Daddy with her. I hope he hates her so much that Daddy reluctantly, sob, sob, has to “let her go”.

Although as selfish as Jason has now proven to be, I’m sure that wouldn’t occur to him.

  159. The Original TCB Says:

Thanks, Mandy. I couldn’t even find anything mentioning it.

  160. TK Says:

WTG RS!! WTG RS!! WTG RS!! This is so “amazing”.

Where are all those apologies? Are they lined up yet? I think it’s funny how people can dish rumors, but can’t stand the truth!

I feel terrible for Melissa. There is NOTHING right about this for her. Cruel and unusual treatment.

Mol knew about 10 minutes after filming stopped in the good bye limo ride that she was going to get a call from Jason. In fact, it might have been the camera guy who handed her the letter from Jason that said “You’ve been punk’d! You are really #1, see you later alligator. Love, J”

  161. palm Says:

There really isn’t anything so shocking about he producers telling the participants what to do. It happens on all reality shows except the ones with cash prizes because of the quiz show rules.

Alex Michel has spoken on many occasions about how he was going to pick Trista but the producers told him picking Amanda would make a better ending. Since Alex had an agent and had aspirations to be in television, he went along with it. Bob Guiney talked about his fight with the producers over not wanting to say the lines they fed him. He definitely wasn’t a happy camper on the show.

Re Deanna, people have posted quotes from her recently referring to her “freedom day” or something like that. I think she is referring to the expiration of her publicity contract with ABC and the production company.

With the exception of Trista, who really seemed to have her head on straight, I don’t think many of the participants have a good experience with the show.

  162. LaLa Says:

    The Original TCB -

I think in one of his blogs it says that he will not have control over his myspace until the end of the show. I think he also mentions that the producers will be in charge of his page till than?? Maybe Im wrong..

But that is interesting that they, whoever it was, logged in today..

  163. reality junkie Says:

I completely agree that ABC had a hand in how this all played out. But the one thing that bugs me is– why would Jason go along with the charade of proposing to Melissa, and run the risk of losing Molly (if all along he knew she was the ONLY one for him)? I don’t think he would take that kind of risk. So Molly must have been in on the plan, at least soon after he let her go at the FRC.

  164. Lori Says:

    good job steve! thanks

  165. The Original TCB Says:

162-LaLa Who knows, really, as all this is speculation. But yeah, I read that they have someone else in control of their pages. But obviously, they look at them. They probably are just not allowed to post or something. I have no idea. But you know he knows what it says now.

  166. TK Says:

Or better yet, maybe Ashton Kutcher was in Mol’s good bye limo and that’s why she didn’t cry! :-)

  167. venus Says:

I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER doubted YOU!

  168. smp Says:

It was speculated at one time that Molly darkened her hair & she was in Hawaii – not Melissa. I believe this myself but don’t know for sure.

  169. CrazyWorld Says:

I believe the ‘ tent scene ‘ sealed the deal !!.. Jason was done, Molly was the chosen one.. And, I saw rumours on numerous boards typing Melissa knew of this and went along with ABC with conditions of a lead in a reality show. Who knows??? not us I guess.

  170. Nocturnal Says:

Release the emails, RS!!!!!!!! Ease our suffering!!!!!!!

  171. qusan Says:

Jason used to be one of DeAnna’s top MySpace friends. He disappeared after the RS initial “bust.” For the person who asked if his wife left when she was pregnant, he said that she told him she wanted out before Ty was delivered. He made her look like an absentee, deadbeat mom on B4 but he was on The View saying they were really good friends. Sure, dude. Drama will ensue. I’m so sure 23-24 year old Molly is ready to deal with that. Jason is like a 19 year old in heat. YUCK!

  172. CrazyWorld Says:

168- yes it was posted that Molly had darkened her hair to match Melissa’s and was in Hawaii with Jason.. Only repeting what I read..

  173. smp Says:

CrazyWorld – I know, who knows…but I would be willing to bet some money (even in these horrible economic times) that we will find out.

  174. smp Says:

qusan – thanks for the info. I know a lot of FORT’ers are pissed Jason was/is portrayed as a “single Dad”.

  175. CrazyWorld Says:

    173 – u know who knows?

  176. smp Says:

Crazyworld – yeah, after I read what I posted I thought it would look confusing. I am tired…

I was responding to your #169.

  177. CrazyWorld Says:

All I can say is ‘ go Jillian go ‘ and hope we see nice ” HOT” men in their early 30’s next season, LOL !

  178. Yankee Says:

Molly could have done better too. She should have said she won’t be anyone’s sloppy seconds. Now at 24 she will leave her home, job, family, etc. to move to Seattle to live in a condo with Jason, his brother, and toddler child. She’s going to have it harder than Jason that is for sure.

And the fact that she is moving makes it all the more apparent they were cheating. ATR1 was taped about 6 weeks ago and she’s already moving? They’ve been together months.

  179. CrazyWorld Says:

    smp – cool, I agree :)

  180. venus Says:

    Please post the EMAILS!!!

    Pretty Please!!!

People will be all over this blog, when they wake up, defending Jason. You know they will.

Remove their doubt Steve and let us who have always believed in you enjoy a bit of gloating.

    POST! POST! POST!

  181. smp Says:

Can’t wait to read CH’s blog next week…

  182. DRAGONFLY Says:

    Steve,

Vindication is sweet indeed. Your fans never doubted you for a moment.

    A few thoughts and questions:

I, too, am disappointed that lovely Jillian has agreed to be the next Bachelorette, but I guess we should have seen this coming after The Women Tell All. Didn’t ABC previously state that it would be “an all-American girl”? Guess they figured Jillian would bring better ratings.

Once again, DeAnna has proven that a fame-grabber will do anything for a buck. Whether and to what extent her alleged plea was scripted by ABC, does this woman have no shame?

Interesting choice of cast-off Bachelorettes invited to today’s taping. Could Kari and Erica be any more irrelevant? Is it your impression that any or all of this season’s women have figured out the truth?

Meliissa requested that Jason not contact her after the ATFR 1. Were the email exchanges before that or did he once again disrespect her with his pitiful “not my fault” messages?

I have no trouble believing that Molly’s feelings haven’t changed since NZ. Why would her feelings change if there was continued contact? I’m there with you in believing that yes, they were in contact during his “engagement.” There’s no way Jason would dump Melissa without Molly’s assurance that she wanted him. As for her parents loving Jason now, after he rejected their daughter and she was heartbroken for 2 months…not so much.

I dread having to endure yet more of Molly’s wide-eyed looks of “amazement” during ATFR 2.

As for the infamous tent being presented as a gift, this is beyond tasteless and, for me, validates your belief about this entire ABC scheme. As the old saying goes, Jason has made his bed (or tent)……..

What I find most disturbing is that this man reportedly has a degree in psychology.

  183. peachapple Says:

    Steve,

I believed in you from the beginning and all along. It just made sense. Glad you exposed this hoochie show for what it is. A Farce!

As for Jason and Molly, you think you guys are talking to a bunch of 3 year olds with your little story? Go have a happy life, you both deserve each other…that is, until Jason starts looking again to scratch his itch. Molly you will always be known as a “women who likes sloppy seconds” and a cheat also.

Melissa, you are a the big winner really. Your Prince will come and Jason was just another “toad” (horny one at that!)

Jillian, I wish you well on the next show, however I won’t be watching it.

  184. hi.there Says:

    Nice job Steve.

I believed you all along, and I do think they were trying to make a “Trista-2″ happen with Mel’s “broken heart” no matter what they say here.

I hope you do post those emails, because, apparently, most media is unwilling to take on ABC, and they are letting this (possible/probable) tampering story go.

The only story of interest here is what Fleiss did. I don’t give a bleep about anything that supposedly happens on this silly, overly scripted show.

  185. Kerry Says:

Well, I, for one, will help give Fleiss his “Chayevsky ” ending.

    I will NOT watch Monday.

    I will NOT watch Tuesday.

And as much as I ADORE Jilly, I will not watch her as the Bach’ette.

I’m not above admitting that I will no doubt read Steve’s recaps as well as probably Zap2it’s recaps, but he will get no ratings from my TV’s or computers.

    I am technically done.

Thanks, Fleiss – you’d better hope I am the only one that feels this way.

As for the “lovebirds”, it has been my experience that if your “love” comes at the expense of someone else, you don’t have a snowball’s chance in hell of having it last a lifetime.

I give you both 6 months max.

  186. Kerry Says:

I meant Fleiss will get no ratings from me in my last post – not Steve.

Wanted to make that clear – LOVE STEVE! (and Maddie – the cutie!)

  187. Yankee Says:

The tent was completely and utterly classless.

Sure they haven’t been together behind Mel’s back. wink wink

Molly is moving to Seattle and they have only been together six weeks? NOT. They’ve been together months.

Let the cheaters have each other. Keep them out of the dating mix.

After you propose it’s too late to say you don’t want to lead them on. You put a ring on their finger. Some people actually take that seriously, tool.

  188. CrazyWorld Says:

Yankee- Molly’s hasty (6) week decision demonstrates she is very immature and naive… Where are her parents???.. . Unfortunately, they are lost into their silly ” HUGE ” hats and their vision blinded towards their daughters unstable future.. I truly feel sorry for Molly because I believe she hasn’t had enough time to really think this out… Obviously, she doesn’t have her head on straight ..

  189. bachlorette Says:

I knew you were right all along.

I am probobly the only person who just does not see it with Jillian being all that. Yes, you may flame me now.

I don’t think Jason can ever recover from this and I am curious to see how his repuation holds up after this.

I hope Melissa kept the ring and sold it. She deserves at least that.

  190. Yankee Says:

venus-I can’t wait to see someone try and justify the break on tv.

  191. CrazyWorld Says:

Yea I agree, they’ve been together for months, like I said that ‘ tent date’ sealed the deal !!!

  192. terry-pat Says:

I think Brad was the Brain that the bachelor grew, when they could not pistol whip him into submisson,I mean fake propose, they made it into a soap opera type show,no newbies, people that we pretend we know.Brad, some thought villian,I thought not,(he is a keeper),any how then comes,y’all breaking my heart Deanna,then..cue the music, poor Jason, single father, kinda threw his ex under the bus, made it look like she dumped the kid on him.I knew they were going to cast someone we knew as bachelorette, keep up the soap.I love Jillian, hope she’s another Brad,no BS.

  193. CrazyWorld Says:

terry- pat, I agree, at the time I thought Brad was ruthless now I see otherwise, he was forthright.. As you, I love Julian and believe she has a genuine honest sincerity about her, well I’m hoping so :)

  194. Kam Says:

I just can’t stop hearing Molly saying to Jason aren’t you worried you’ll pick the wrong girl in one of their scenes. It makes me wonder how far back into the season this farce was set into motion. Probably as some have said after tent night. I think we have enough clues just from the show itself that this was a set up for ratings at the expense of Melissa. That was even before RS gave us the real story. ABC thinks we are stupid and will believe anything they spin- well thanks to RS not this time and for me not ever again.

  195. smp Says:

There is someone on FORT (a newbie) stating it was a set up, Mel didn’t know etc. When asked if that was her opinion or fact she answered “not opinion”.

Now obviously anyone can say anything but she has posted this over & over and seems to be swaying some FORT’ers.

  196. CrazyWorld Says:

195- I find that hard to believe, from the behaviour of the WTA I sensed they all knew what was coming down.. It’s been Molly all along and how do we know that Melissa isn’t a plant in like Shayne was in last episode???…. Melissa has been in a few Reality Shows prior to this one and it’s suspicious how her parents didn’t want to participate, isn’t it ??

  197. sunnydaisy Says:

Thanks Steve! There is no doubt in my mind that this was planned. If not from the beginning, at least from very early on. Shame on them. And what is the matter with Jillian?? Why would she agree to be the next Bachelorette?? I wonder what crazy thing they’ll talk her into doing for ratings.

  198. Queen-Oblivious Says:

I am still trying to figure out why I watch this show. I am not a hopeless romantic, the only time I felt bad at the ending was when Jason was rejected by Deanna. I have not seen every show though.

Yet I still watch. This year has been more interesting, (for me.) mostly due to Steve’s scoop. It was fun watching and figuring out how this was all going to play out. I think I like the mystery behind the show and I watch it like a soap.

Chayefsky is rolling over in his grave. Ending with giving Molly and Jason a tent is keepin it clazzy there Fleiss!

  199. Kam Says:

196 I’d rather it was that way, then no one really got hurt and the ABC bachelor franchise is still exposed as a scripted manipulative farce.

  200. Yankee Says:

They might have gotten Jillian to sign on before all this came out. She’s smart and strong and I see her behaving more like Brad who wouldn’t be manipulated and forced to do anything he didn’t want to do.

  201. CarolynNVa Says:

    Steve,
I had to come back and give you major kudos! You broke the biggest story in Reality TV history. (Well, IMO) Good job! I think it says a lot bout your character that you didn’t get paid to release it. You singlehandly shook up an entire show and network! :-) I think it is great!

  202. smp Says:

I honestly don’t know what to think right now but I read Mel was devastated by this (by people who know her).

Her parents angel is interesting – some have said they are private & were against TB. Others said they are very religious. What is a fact is they never attended her Cowboys games (per Melissa).
Some say the very fact her parents weren’t on TB shows it was a set up.

I change my mind a lot – at 1st I believed Steve but not that it was set up. Now I am leaning towards a set up but don’t think Mel knew.
***this opinion may & probably will change LOL

  203. smp Says:

My post was to #196, I’ve got to start putting numbers in!

  204. CrazyWorld Says:

In my books this season is over, wish all involved the very best. But I’m hooked and will watch end results on Monday and Tuesday. I’m so looking forward to Jillian the BACHELORETTE next year.. She is very smart, funny and very cute. I’d imagine lots of ” HOT” men will try out so will be an interesting season:)

  205. smp Says:

This is my 1st season watching any of the Bach/ette shows – what a season to start! And there is no doubt I will be watching Jillian.

  206. terry-pat Says:

Thanks CrazyWorld. At the time I could not understand why he was so hated,he seemed so,well honest, maybe like a dear in the headlights, why am I here? But was true to him self, and this one I like I read if true,he would only agree to kiss one girl per day,not like our beloved Jason, who goes in for one, even when the women are talking…Also I am miffed…if Jillian, was the ultimate friend, why make out with her.Men!

  207. CrazyWorld Says:

    199 – so true :(

  208. Melanie222 Says:

Speaking of Jillian and Brad….I think they’d make a good couple! :p

  209. Elizabeth Says:

They would certainly look very pretty together!!!!

  210. CrazyWorld Says:

206-yea I agree Jillian went too far in that hot tub scene but she was in love with Jason.. They did say that afterwards they spent many hours speaking freely without cameras around them.. Maybe she came to her senses and realized that her love for Jason wasn’t recipacated???.. who knows !.. I don’t see a man going in for the kill for so many women making them think they are the only one, JMO.. I still believe his ‘ tent date ‘ with Molly sealed the entire deal and the rest of the show was a setup!, JMO :)

  211. Elizabeth Says:

Has anyone checked out the misfits site yet? I can’t get in cause I’m not a member. I’d love to find out what happened to “jason’s mom”lol. See if she is gone now after having everyone over there fooled about Jason and Mel.

There was someone on here last night who could get in, but I can’t remember their name. Anyone?

  212. Omaste Says:

    Kudos Steve! And Thank you!

  213. CrazyWorld Says:

Elizabeth may I ask which site ur referring to please?

  214. smp Says:

#211 I was on last night and I remember it being talked about but don’t remember who was a member.

I know one person wanted to get on & another one posted she’s not on it but was offered an invite but said the Misfit’s are wrong a lot and she declined.

There may or may not be a link on the JU site – she wasn’t sure.

  215. Elizabeth Says:

    Hey CrazyWorld……..misfitsrus.com

  216. Elizabeth Says:

Thanks smp, I knew I wasn’t sleep deprived!LOL I was sure it was talked about, thanks. Hopefully someone sees this post at some point and can get in. Somebody on this site kept sneaking in and reporting what they were saying for a few days but dang if I can remember who !

  217. CrazyWorld Says:

I’ve heard that Jillian and Melissa have formed a very close bond special friendship over this season.. In support for Melissa , Jillian agreed to stay at the same hotel in San Francisco with Melissa as moral support for the AFTR2 taping.

  218. CrazyWorld Says:

    Thank you muchly Elizabeth :)

  219. smp Says:

#217 – Yeah – I read somewhere their hotel rooms were 3 rooms apart and the hotel employees who let that out were fired. Think I read it on FORT.

  220. Elizabeth Says:

You are welcome CrazyWorld. Ahhhhhhh that is so sweet about Jilly and Melissa. I like that friendship. Jillian would be a great support for her, she’s so caring.

  221. CrazyWorld Says:

219 – heard same thing, any proof come out of that?

  222. smp Says:

CrazyWorld – I don’t know about proof, may be just more rumors out there.

  223. CrazyWorld Says:

Heard the hotel staff had to emergency clean a blue garment so maybe we can see if that is a correct assumption in the upcoming shows on Monday and Tuesday ???

  224. Yankee Says:

I’m glad Mel ended the show with a wonderful friend in Jillian. I’m sure the other women will rally around her as well.

I’m also thrilled she didn’t show up to ATR2. Why go through that torture? Good for her.

  225. smp Says:

I will be sure to pay attention to colors Mon/Tues.

  226. ChicagoCatwoman Says:

STEVE WAS RIGHT!!! Thanks for risking so much and enduring all the criticism of those who didn’t want the truth to be told.
Even though I might watch Jill as the B’ette, this season is over for me…I can’t watch J-Scum humiliate poor Melissa like he did.
Hope she’s doing good and finds a man who will treat her like the sweetheart she is.

  227. CrazyWorld Says:

Ur correct Yankee who’d wanna go through all that, enough is enough. I really liked Melissa and hope the very best for her in life . I just wish her family would be more supportive of her. From tapings of the show, her friends clearly reveal Melissa is insecure in relationships with men and allow them to stump all over her. I don’t know this as a fact, but if that is the case I believe her parents need to step up and undertake more responsiblilites in the well being of their daughter ..

  228. owl Says:

    @#64 The Original TBC

Yeah, it IS major gross. Just like the fantasy suites. Sure, nothing goes on there. Is this tent thing a dig at the audience because of all the theories…let’s fan up the flames? If so, I’d be pissed because its basically a bald statement that Molly was good in bed (or tent) and that’s really where Jason made his decision. It also calls into play how well the fantasy suite dates went. Jillian was talking about wondering if Jason could handle her and then gets handed the friend card. Guess that was a big “no, I can’t” there, eh? Anyway the whole thing is without class and disgusting. What the heck is wrong with having some self repspect and dignity? You knnow keep these things private and maybe heaven forbid, saving it for marriage? Jason does have a 3 year old son, after all.
What will Ty think of his father’s behavior?

  229. Yankee Says:

Hopefully Mel gets some therapy because this is a lot to take in and it will help her clear her head and go out into the world of dating again on healthier footing.

She’s beautiful with a nice body and a fun loving and sunny disposiiton. She will find someone wonderful and worthy of her love.

I’m sure her parents are being loving and kind during this time of pain.

  230. terry-pat Says:

CrazyWorld I didn’t mean Jillian went to far in the hot tub,she was in love,I mean’t Jason did,but Melanie 222 had a good point,”speaking of Jillian and Brad, they would make a good couple”Sorry reality Steve, this is a bit off topic, and CrazyWorld yeah, the tent date, what ever Jason had with Molly, was left on the cutting room floor.

  231. TK Says:

    Hey Steve,
Just found you this season. Great blog!

Just one question…I think YOU were the one who gave Fleiss the idea to re-script TB this season. I just listened to your interview with Jeremy and I think the conspiracy started with that interview!

And how happy do you think Jeremy is right now, knowing what happened to Jason this season?! Although, I think Jeremy is too smart (and an attorney) so Fleiss and ABC couldn’t manipulate him with fear.

    Anyhoo…I’m just sayin…! (snark, snark)

  232. CrazyWorld Says:

This posted on other sites, did RS hack Melissa’s email account ?. They don’t think so and that he got the emails from a poster on site named Jerusha = old biblical name for “banished”.

Now, go over to Myspace. Go to the Friends menu and click on “Find Friends”.. Now use the search box to type an email address. This is Jason’s last name at a place that is smokin’ hot (if you catch my drift). If done right, you should bring up Jason’s real Myspace page.

    @TVJunkie

    You’ll love this:

I disagree Molly is a whore. Molly is Santa’s Assistant. Why?
Cause Santa always says, “HO HO HO!!!!”

And yep, DeAnn is a trainwreck. Marriage advice giver?
Like Santa always says, “HO HO HO!!!! Go turn on the TV!!!

    The owl.

  234. smp Says:

Thanks crazyworld – checking out the comments

  235. VAgirl Says:

232, I’m not following. Only page I see is his “official” website. Am I missing something, or am I just slow? LOL!

  236. venus Says:

Yankee…I left for awhile and I’m not going to stay long…these late nites have to stop! :-)

I feel strongly that RS has got to post those emails.
The naysayers will be accusing him that he doesn’t have any proof that abc was behind this switcheroo. Just watch! They will and we know who “they” are.

I’m disappoint, actually, that Jillian as agreed to be the next B’ette. After that hot tub scene I felt she would be uncomfortable with how the show exploited her…after a few glassses of wine. and would elect to have no further association with them. Guess that 15 minutes of fame gets them all.

  237. PattyC Says:

232 help! it’s late and I don’t “catch your drift”.

  238. venus Says:

I’m still in disbelieve that Jason would agree to humiiate Mel on national tv. Blindside her..to use RS’s word.

Mr. Sensitive isn’t as he seems..after all.

  239. PattyC Says:

same site i have had on my friends list back when i felt sorry for him when deanna dumped him. mesnick@hotmail.com

  240. CrazyWorld Says:

It’s getting very late, in conclusion, RS ur very courageous to come forth early believing and trusting ppl who gave u early input.. You did a wonderful job, congrats !! goodnight all !

  241. Rebecca Says:

Hi, Steve…I just want to point something out:

If the ATFR1 was taped on a closed set with no audience to make it “as intimate as possible for the parties involved,” then obviously there was a reason–a reason they knew beforehand–they did that (that reason proving to be Jason dumping Melissa and getting back together with Molly, of course). But if Jason knew early on enough to let them know it should be a closed set, then he knew early on enough to have the decency to break up with Melissa in private, not on national televison…UNLESS this was all planned. Haha yup, so this is just adding more validity to your theory and also makes Bachelor producers look like idiots, not just douchebags…b/c if they had to go and pull this, they should have at least made it SOMEWHAT believable, instead of pathetically transparent.

P.S. PLEASE POST THE EMAILS EXCHANGED BETWEEN JASON AND MELISSA AFTER THE PUBLIC HUMILIATION WENT DOWN. PLEASEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!! That ‘Dish of Salt’ blog you linked to said the e-mails were online, but I cannot for the life of me find them anywhere, and I am dying to seem them.

  242. owl Says:

I will be VERY interested to hear Molly’s comments on the limo ride home after the final. How much editing do you think ABC will do?

    Spin Spin Spin…

You know, its too bad since this show is all about lack of class that they didn’t give Molly the tent as parting gift for being runner up immediately after the final. They could have showed it being put in the trunk of the limo, talked about her walk of shame, etc etc. Crud…the lost opportunities! LOL.

  243. Yankee Says:

venus-I really think Jill might have signed off on being Bachelorette before she knew everything that went down. That might have been no accident on the part of ABC. I wish she had said no but I think she will be okay.

  244. Lightbulb Says:

    Your source is Melissa?

  245. lemon Says:

I am also really curious how the MisFits are handling this news. I hope next season when someone claims to be Jillian’s mom or cousin they don’t believe it. ;)

  246. Yankee Says:

I have to ask…who are the misfits? lol

  247. Elizabeth Says:

    Hey Steve,

You got a very nice apology from Jokerette on Jokers Updates. Classy lady.

  248. blue eyes Says:

I always knew you were telling the truth RS!!

Jason is a prick and cold hearted to do this.

  249. smp Says:

I think the big debate now will be: set up vs no set up…who knew, who didn’t know…when did Molly & Jason 1st have contact etc.

A lot of people (me included) didn’t think Steve was right on the set up part but I am now leaning to that side.

Steve releasing the e-mails would certainly help in showing what really happened.

  250. smp Says:

Yankee – I guess it’s another mssg board. I heard it was private but not 100% sure.
    misfitsrus.com

  251. Yankee Says:

Thanks smp. I’d seen it mentioned here and figured I should finally ask. lol

  252. Elizabeth Says:

    Yankee,

Not exactly sure but from what I can piece together, someone who got kicked off or left a board started her own board. This board has had someone posing as Jason’s mom for quite some time telling them he is with Mel and they are happy. They have believed they are the “right”ones and Steve isn’t. That’s what I have put together. misfitsrus.com Don’t know much more than that…..sorry

  253. Yankee Says:

TY Elizabeth. I wonder if “Jason’s mom” will now disappear or continue the farce after this newest info has come out. lol

  254. Elizabeth Says:

    That’s exactly why I WANT TO KNOWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!LOL

  255. Yankee Says:

There is also someone here claiming to be in the know and this news blows their theories fresh out of the water. Curious to hear their take too.

  256. Elizabeth Says:

You read my mind Yankee! I’ve been thinking that for a few hours.

  257. blue eyes Says:

Steve, PLEASE release the emails!! Show Jason for the scum that he is. Mel has signed a contract so she can’t disclose anything…you would be doing her a favor. PLEASE!!!

  258. smp Says:

    I think pinkgirl is pinkgone

  259. Mars Says:

    Puck the haters, Steve!

Don’t worry about. Everytime someone tries to knock you on the abc board, you have plenty of people jumping in to defend you. It’s all good and most of us never doubted your integrity. I’m actually surprised sooo many people have supported you considering how adored (barf) Jason was. He was every wimpy woman’s goldenboy. Maybe that’s not to fair to everyone, but it was ridiculous how hot so many were for him. I always saw him as ridiculously, emotionally immature. The Deanna thing shocks me though. I think he made a huge mistake not taking her back because they actually are very much alike. Two people who can be bought and sold. Classy!

  260. alforknot Says:

    G willikers..what a sleezefest…hard to take much more
no wonder D-bags are mentioned so often…
RS, sorry you had to get down and dirrty…but you can stand with your head held high
the truth , the whole truth and nothing but the truth…
    have a nice w/e

  261. lemon Says:

There was someone on Fort who also pretended to be closely associated with Jason. She acted like a relative who was in NZ, she knew who was taking care of Ty down there (maybe her) and hinted Melissa’s dress wasn’t really blue before the FRC screencaps were released last week. Some people took that as proof she knew for a fact Jason and Mel were still together. It’ll be interesting to see if she ever posts again.

I guess it’s possible she really is his cousin or aunt or whatever so she knew he chose Melissa, but nobody told her about the ATFR taping in January.

Anyway, she had a lot of believers who ate up every word she posted and they were convinced Steve was lying or had been fooled by bad info. I hope this teaches people to be more skeptical. Even if someone actually is a relative it doesn’t mean they know the entire story, this person was clearly missing info about the big ATFR twist.

  262. arizonak Says:

RS, you’re amazing! Great comments here! Steve, I know you’re right due to your informants. I think one reason why no audience is at ATFR 1 is also damage control. Remember when ABC flew out DeAnna’s dad to the Bahamas because ABC was sure Brad was going to propose to her? There was no proposal for DeAnna and probably one mad and pissed off papa Pappas, not to mention ABC! They got totally caught off guard!!! ABC does not want that kind of stuff to happen again. ABC had an empty room for Jason to break up with Melissa first and then to take back Molly almost by script.

  263. Chrissy Says:

    I
    hate
    this
    ending!

ugh, wow.. just wow. I am disgusted.

  264. terri035 Says:

Thanks, Steve! I’m proud to say I was one of the people who never doubted you. Congrats, my friend!

  265. Melanie222 Says:

I never doubted RS, but I never took the bait 100%. I’m still waiting to see for myself on Monday before I give in. LOL If it ends the way RS says, I think I might be sick. It’s ONE thing if Jason had an honest change of heart. He’s more than entitled. HOWEVER…if he was conflicted at all at the FRC, he should have had the cojones that Brad had to not propose to either women…and ask for more time. OR, if he was convinced Mel was the one, but later changed his mind, then WHY BREAK IT OFF ON NATIONAL TV???? I honestly thought Jason was so much better than that. Either he’s a complete JERK, or he’s a spineless coward who didn’t have the nerve to say NO to TPTB when they told him that this is how it was gonna go down, or RS is wrong. I don’t know….we really don’t know the ins and outs…we may never find out exactly what happened…who knew what and when…I tend to want to believe and hope for the best…..I REALLY REALLY hope RS was fed bad info…but I won’t be surprised in the least if he’s right on. Monday can’t come soon enough!!

  266. notsorealityfan Says:

#214 smp, that was me about the MisFits, I have no idea how to find them. I went to Runboard yesterday (the original board) and typed in MisFits and nothing came up.

I’m sure someone will either post comments about them either on Jokers or FORT. I know that on FORT you are not allowed to link to other reality sites and boards so there wouldn’t be a link there. It might be that you’d have to PM someone to get the link, sorry I can’t be of any more help.

  267. notsorealityfan Says:

Hey #215 thanks for posting – that’s a duh from me, wouldn’t have thought to look for that LOL.

  268. SummersEve Says:

Hey Steve – Thanks for all the info. Your info certainly made an otherwise boring season more interesting. I’m sorry how it all turns out in the end and doubt I will watch this farce of a show again. Seriously.

  269. notsorealityfan Says:

Steve, good to know you will be vindicated on Monday/Tuesday; never doubted that you totally believed your source.

Did wonder sometimes (due to the conflicting reports on here, yeah he’s w/Mel, nope he’s w/Mol – LOL) that maybe you’d been fed this but its good to know that your source stayed true to you.

Don’t know what to think about Molly, wonder if she realizes what she’s getting herself into. Jason appears from his edit in both seasons to be someone who really doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s now proposed to at least three people in the last six years, his ex-wife, Deanna and now Melissa. The last two within the last six months. Although we only know these people from their edit.

I have to wonder about that too, Jesse was portrayed pretty negatively last season with his comments about “farting” and other bodily functions, his edit did start to change somewhat during the dates in Palm Desert. Molly was portrayed this season who goes for what she wants; she interrupted Raquel and her dance session; took Jason away from someone else when she already had a rose; and then pretty much made it seem obvious that she and Jason had been up to something during the tent date.

I have to admire Molly’s sense of adventure, but have to wonder if Jason preferred Molly from the start and it was a set up why Fleiss didn’t portray her at least as a little more likeable.

During Brad’s season I didn’t care for Deanna’s edit, Jenni came across as a bit of an air head (although I did like her); it seems Fleiss takes pleasure from editing the participant’s as something they probably aren’t – shame on him. I’m sure most of us want to see the “real” person behind the edit. :(

  270. kc Says:

thanks for all the info, steve ~
    2 things:
the “condensed version of 90 minutes” is probably the full 2-hour show minus commercials! .. (maybe someone else has already said this, can’t read all the comments.)
and .. since the megan interview was cut short, please let us know – as others have also asked – what megan thinks about molly.. did she like her, etc.?
    thanx

  271. SummersEve Says:

I forgot to add that posting the emails would certainly seal the deal as far was what went down. Not that I need further proof, but if there are still any doubters out there, posting the emails might shut them up once and for all. I’m just sayin….

  272. Melanie222 Says:

I’m curious to know what Melissa meant when she asked Jason why he wasn’t willing to fight for her. Why would he have to fight for something/someone he already had? Perhaps there was trouble with her parents? Maybe after all the excitement wore off and they were away from the cameras, their chemistry wasn’t the same and their relationship began to fizzle? I don’t know…but I’d like to know what she meant.

  273. DeeDee Says:

Thank you Steve for bringing us the truth. I’m so disappointed in Jason. I never thought he would be a cheater. He stayed in contact with Melissa, no doubt about that. He should have just proposed to Molly or not propsed to anyone if he was that in doubt.

Please give Melissa our love. She has lots of fans out there. People are furious!! I wish I could give her a hug for real.

  274. laurie Says:

this show needs to stop recycling the rejects and get some new blood! deanna came from brad’s season. jason came from deanna’s season, and now jillian’s gonna be the next bachelorette from jason’s season. i’m so sick of all these people- i want someone new!!!!

  275. mrgreen523 Says:

Hey all here is an important part to remember, don’t think for one second that Fleiss did not have someone sititng in that Limo with Jill with pen and contract in hand and caught her at the height of emotion and got her to sign the contract…you know he would roll like that. Or he came to her hotel the next morning or day after sat down and said listen, we all know its going to be Mel and jason…just look at the way its progressed and she’s your friend and while I know you are happy for her she would want to be happy for you, so why not be the next Bach-ette and ya’ll can have backyard BBQ and let your future kids play together and who knows why not just make it a double wedding… yup I can totally see it going down like that and Fleiss “Fleissed” Jill while she was still in NZ.

  276. SpyrilJ Says:

Just wanted to add my voice to the many — Thank You Steve!!
I am sincerely and seriously disappointed in Jason! I do not think for an instant it was “just a change of heart.” I think he did listen to the producers and was their puppet from jumpstreet.

I do feel bad for Melissa, but at the same time am happy that she won’t have to waste her affections and emotions on such a punk.

    Wow………

  277. mrgreen523 Says:

Here is a link to screencaps over on Jokers…Molly looks a hot country mess until the last set and when she lets her hair down she’s not a bad looking girl. With those ponytails she looks old. Don’t get me wrong I am NO Molly fan, I still believe she is a lying cheating sack of ish…her and Jason and my heart truly goes out to Melissa…
    http://forums.jokersupdates.com/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Board=TheBachelor&Number=10920372

  278. Sandi Says:

I do feel bad for Melissa, she seem like she was having a good time and so sincere.

Hope she got to keep the ring so she can sell it!!!!

  279. Natster Says:

Steve, well done. Thank you for bringing everything out in the open. Maddie is the cutest!!

As for J and Molly…ITA that there had to be contact between them for Jason to do this to Melissa on national TV. I firmly believe that what goes around, comes around and both of these two lying twits will get theirs. Enough said!

My heart really feels bad for Melissa because I have been in a similar situation but I do feel that everything happens for a reason because she WILL find her Prince Charming….I did. :)

As a Canadian, I am happy that Jillian agreed to be the next bacherlorette and I will definitely watch that series but I am done watching any other of the Bach series.

  280. abb Says:

Even if Jason did have this change of heart and no longer wanted to be with Mel, he’s still scum for so many reasons.

He should have never proposed! If he was conflicted, he should have been willing to face the backlash Brad did and either not pick anyone or choose to date both of them (as Charlie did). If anything, Charlie is a stellar testament to how this show can work because after dating both girls, he’s still with the one he chose in the end!

Even if he changed his mind, he should have spoken to Mel privately. He should have had that much decency at least. What a douche to do it with the cameras rolling, thereby giving ABC what they want and making himself look like a horse’s ass.

I think Jillian was right when she said she should have quit while she was ahead. This will not turn up well for her. I can only hope she’s had legal counsel go over the contract with her and that it’s her legal counsel and not just ABC’s.

I won’t watch again. I didn’t watch last Monday and I won’t watch now. I never was naive enough to believe in the love story given this show’s track record, but ABC’s desire to manipulate and hurt someone to garner ratings just turns my stomach.

I think that you should publish the e-mails so that no one doubts what a piece of crappola Jason really is.

Way to shut up the naysayers, RS!

  281. packerfan4 Says:

Again..YOU ROCK! I never had a single doubt what you said was the actual truth. OF COURSE Jason and Molly were in contact. You simply don’t dump a person for someone else UNLESS the “other” relationship has proven stronger. A relationship that hasn’t been fed for a few months tends to fade without contact.

  282. Linda Says:

Did anyone see Jason on the View yesterday (Friday)? I DVR’d it and watched it several times. (For those who didn’t) They were showing video of Melissa and when it was over, it honestly sounded like Joy said she was available and Jason looked at her real funny. Then at the end of the segment, Joy said she couldn’t wait until the FR and Jason looked at her and made the zip your lips sign at her and laughed. When Elisabeth asked if he was engaged, all he would say was he was happy and wouldn’t comment on being engaged-he just said you have to watch to find out. They asked him about all the rumors and he said he didn’t know what all of them were, but the only one he would address was that the show was not scripted it was totally his true life. If anyone has access to it, it’s worth a quick watch. The best part was the comedy where Joy had him like he was going to kiss her (per Elisabeth-when in doubt, make out-LOL!) and she rubbed hand sanitizer on his mouth and said you don’t know where it’s been. :)

  283. GAgirl Says:

Wonderful Job Steve!!! You have helped all of us now be able to watch the show for what it really is. I had my doubts about ABC’s honesty , based on the fact that when I applied for the show this season. They were very interested in me and then suddenly told me that their bachelor did not want any single mom’s on the show. Does a woman named sonny ring a bell? Well she was the one that told me that they loved me and then that they couldn’t use me because I was a single mom. You can image my surprise when I watched the first show with tons of single mom’s on it!!! Whatever the reason they didn’t want me on the show….I am so thankful for it because Jason is a snake in the grass… you don’t see it coming and then suddenly he reveals his true colors. Why didn’t they offer the bachelorette melissa…if anyone deserved it she did. She obviously wanted no part in this show..she knows the truth!

  284. beachbum Says:

I can’t believe that people are still bashing Steve even after most of what he was ‘led to believe’ turned out to be true. Doesn’t this add a little more credibility to the other things he believes but can not prove?

Actually, it doesn’t really matter much whether the decision to break up with Melissa on TV was his idea or the producers. In one instance he is a scumbag with a total lack of compassion and in the other he has no backbone with a total lack of compassion.

I really don’t understand why if Jason was so conflicted about his choice the producers didn’t do an ending like in one other season where he asks for more time to make his final decision. They could have shown one girl getting out of the limo and walking up to him and then before he says anything a second limo could have pulled up with the other girl and she would have had to walk up to him also. It would have been priceless to see the expressions on both their faces. Then he could have explained that because he had a young son it was important for him to be sure of his choice. He needed to meet Melissa’s parents off camera, and since Molly didn’t open up to him until late in the show, he needed to spend more time with her to make sure those feelings were real. The viewers would have loved Jason for being honest, and we would have had another week of speculation as to whom he would pick.

As far as Jillian is concerned I agree with those of you who say she might have signed the contract before she knew the full extent of what happened to Melissa. However, she seems like a strong woman and hopefully she will refuse to do anything that will result in someone being hurt and humiliated.

And Jillian – if you’re reading this – try watering down your drinks when no one is looking!!!

  285. dixiebelle Says:

This was all so uncalled for. Poor Melissa. How does this make Jason come out smelling like a rose? Or have ya’ll already addressed that?

I SO wanted to believe Pinkgirl. Where is she today???? :\

  286. NothingisReal Says:

Thanks Steve..of all the seasons..this one has always bugged me a bit..I think from the initial..show DeAnna pop up..then don’t ever mention her again til the last show..made me go..hmmm..what are tey pulling. Jason..ahh yeah..single dad…perfect bachelor huh..but is it me..or did he “get into it hot n heavy” as much or more as ANY other bachelor..ever..with all the grils? Yeah Ty should watch his Jillian hot hot hot tub scence someday..and be explained..that..wow..is THAT just friends dad..then..I need me more female friends..wink wink. Its all stages..man..they get everyone so drunk…late nights..tension..they profile the contestants..you have to get certain personalities..to stir it up..likeable ones..wack obs..the..I am so hot ones..the emotional ones..feed em booze..shove cameras on em 16 hrs a day..and watch the fun.

For those of you who think Steve is being paid by ABC..come on..do you think anyone at ABC is that smart?..smart enuf to ramp the ratings by paying a blooger..to sill the beans..and set the nternet ablaze..lol..I think NOT.

Steve has gone on record now..if most of his spoilers dont unfold as he claims..the fans wont forgive him..so..he IS on the up and up..sure..some of it he cannot prove..was there a flash in the grassy knoll..same thing..things point a certain way..but there will never be proof…tho..I say Steve..PRINT THOSE E-MAILS…oops..was that in my out loud voice?..

All I can say is..I will be shocked it it unfolds much differently then Steve says..and I agree..wither Jason IS the biggest loser..oops..wrong show..in bachelor history..but doing worse to Mel..then DeAanna could have ever done to him..by proposing on TV..then dumping her on TV..all on his own?..no coaxing?..wow..Jason 100 on the WTF was I thinkin scale.

IF he was even 1/10th as decent as he claimed..he’d have tld Mel..in private..things arent gonna work out..not on TV…so..come on..set up..set up..set up..maybe he told the producers..3 weeks later..oops..made a mistake and then they said..ahhhhhh..cha ching..opportunity..and made Jason wait..foir the good of realty TV..one way or the other..at some point..ABC knew..what was going down..was it their plan..or Jason’s change of heart..dunno..all we DO..or will now is..what happened..and..the clues that it was staged..at some point..it was TOO good to not show on TV.

    Thats reality folks..
wow..I write almost as much as RS..g

  287. NothingisReal Says:

I need a proof reader..sorry for all the typos up there..
    :-)

  288. Kate Says:

At least it is good to know that our mutual friends weren’t lied to (although I wish they were because this is not the ending i had hoped for). I still do believe that Jason and the producers told Molly that Melissa and Jason had ended their engagement prior to the ATFR1 and that is why Molly agreed to see him during those two months (as much as I wish that wasn’t true). What is going to be weird for me is listening to all of the baklash about Molly when very few people really know her. I just can’t wait to ask her about this myself.

  289. NothingisReal Says:

I hope they leave Molly be..I think this was Jason and ABC..or Jason told them..his decision and they turned it into an opportunity..or as RS speculates..it was set up even longer..in which case..they hurt both Mel and Molly as well as any of the final few..smh.

I do feel sorry for Molly..if she chooses this guy..in the end..shallow..hollow..wishy washy..good luck to her.

  290. sopearl Says:

The part that is most annoying to me is his middle school comment about chemistry and not being able to get Molly out of his mind.

Now chemisty is usually sexual chemistry, right?

What does it mean when a man makes a comment like that? (Not that I am calling Jason a man.)

RS I take back anything I may have said about you in the past. You’re a good guy with a good heart. I think Melissa must really be the sweet girl we saw on TV for you to step out of the blogger box and do this.

  291. danielle Says:

You Molly bashers are mean. I mean seriously folks, she was dating him along with a bunch of other women through this whole process. How is she supposed to just turn off her feelings for him when the show was over? No one hear has ever been broken hearted only to hear from the person that he wants to see you? Come on! Jason may have been in on it (or maybe not) but give Molly the benefit of the doubt. Calling her a whore and trying to interfere in where she could potentially land a job is ridiculous people. Get a life! It’s a TV show. By the way, this same scenario doesn’t play out in real life, like every day?

  292. notbuynit Says:

RS I think you are the one who doesn’t get it.

Most people accepted your scoop about the dumping Melissa for Molly.

What I have always challenged is your contuing allegation that the whole thing was pre-planned and that Melissa was used and humiliated simply for the ratings.

You claim that now you are “vindicated” but I think just the opposite.

Your preview of the ATFR1 seems to indicate that Melissa knew waht was going to happen and that she was not blindsided by it.

And still you present nothing to coroborate your claim of a conspiracy.

Jason may be a fool for proposing to the wrong one but that is a far cry from trhe “scumbag” he would be if this was planned in advance.

And Molly, based on your preview, gives no indication that she was even aware of what was happening. Yet you say she knew all along. Even if she had been dating Jason all along it does not necessarily mean that the whole thing was pre-planned.

The complaint that many of us have about you is that you got some inside information and you let it go to your head. Others had that same information but handled it with more class.

Your silly clues and wild speculations about people’s integrity led to a firestorm of activity on your blog and a wealth of publicity for you.

Congratulations to you for finally becoming “somebody”, but shame on you for the way you did it.

  293. catzoid Says:

Excellent job, Steve — I never doubted you, and I completely agree that it was a set-up. Too much evidence there.

Thanks for all you did on this.

Regarding the e-mails, please do not post them without checking with an attorney first. There may be some legal issues around posting private e-mails without the consent of all parties involved.

  294. danielle Says:

I also think the Jason changed his mind after the show was over and the producers turned in into an opportunity. I feel bad that it was the expense of Melissa but I don’t necessisarily think it was supposed to go down this way. That screencap that showed Melissa getting the ring way back at the beginning of the season was not intentional on ABC’s part. It was a mistake. I think they genuinely saw a love story between Jason and Melissa at the beginning and were blindsided by Jason’s conflicting emotions. IMO, he shouldn’t have proposed to Melissa, but this may be where the producers stepped in. Maybe they “helped” him to pick Melissa at the end so they could have their “happy ending” hoping it would stay that way. When it didn’t, they figured out a way to turn it into ratings. I think it’s entirely possible that Jason’s change of heart was leaked on purpose. Thanks to Reality Steve, a lot more people will be watching the finale and ATFR shows. Those of you on here who say you aren’t going to watch…your lying! Of course you will!

  295. Ziggy Says:

Thanks Steve for saving me from wasting four more hours of my life. Best of luck to you. You were 100% correct!

  296. Donna Says:

Thanks RS. Jason won’t ever be able to salvage his reputation and who you are and what you do in life is more important than who you are with. Plus, won’t Molly see the light at some point and move on too? Even if he wanted Molly, he should have waited until he gave the relationship with Melissa a chance, let Melissa exit gracefully and waited a long time before picking up with Molly. Hurting Melissa and doing it in public shows he has not a clue about how women think or feel. In the end, it’ll all come back to bite him…and he’ll be all alone in a basement apartment with some celebrity status as being the jerk.
RS, on the other hand, will be known as having the inside scoop :-D

  297. KateLaw Says:

    Thank you very much Steve.

I am disgusted with Jason & ABC. No amount of spin hides the fact that Jason is scum.

I refuse to watch the final episodes…so again…thank you for the update.

Although I like Jillian….unfortunately I will not be watching her show either.
Since ABC is involved…nothing shown can be trusted. I wish her luck & hope she finds happiness.
    Boy…did she dodge a bullet.

I ask myself how Molly can expect their relationship to survive…when it is based on betrayal.
Her heart will be broken again…as Jason has proved himself to be unstable.

Bottom line…Jason should never have proposed to anyone….and anything after that time should have been done privately. Thats how a real man behaves.

    Hey Carbone,

I have occasionally checked you blog every since you did a segment on the Hardline (or was it Musers?) a few years back when you were on The Ticket. (btw, why did you leave there? or did you get fired?) Not that I watch the show much, but WOW, looks like you really stirred it up this year..

So I gotta ask, now that you have all these women fawning over you these days, are you gonna parlay that into some real “dates?”

Thanks for the laughs. Take care,

    A loyal P1

  300. IHeartMaddie Says:

RS — thanks for the info! And, I agree with some earlier posts. I don’t think, at this point, it would do any disservice to Melissa to reveal the e-mails. Simply based on what we already know, we’ve got the jist of what they’re going to say. And hopefully, it will finally make a believer out of those final remaining “romantics.” I was saddened to hear that Jillian is going to be our next Bachelorette, because she too will probably be forced to do some stuff she won’t want to for the sake of better ratings. And, although I agree with you that Jason must’ve agreed to this, which speaks volumes about his character, we cannot forgot that to ABC, he was nothing more than a pawn to help them get what they wanted.

  301. geriatric Says:

I feel sooooo sorry for Melissa. No, I don’t think she knew it was coming. Who, I ask, would knowingly & willingly set themselves up for such heartache.

Jason has no class. His relationship with Molly will not withstand the hoopla. She’ll figure out she’s made a big mistake sonner or later when she realizes he has no class and even less integrity. And, he’s a cheater to boot!!

I am so happy he didn’t manage to suck Stephanie or Jillian down to his level. They both are classy women with more integrity than he ever hopes to have and they both deserve a whooooollllllleee lot better than Jason.

I just hope Jillian doesn’t play ABC’s games on the B’Lorette.

  302. NothingisReal Says:

Of course we will ALL watch…either to see if RS is right..or the many others who say basically the same thing..or..are they all wrong..and he marries DeAnna (lmao so hard I fall off the chair).

    DeAnna..if you read this..GO AWAY!

To notbuyit..come on..no matter what happens..Jason while mayby not a scumbag..is a twit..a heartless gutless man..even if he DID change his mind..which is fair..he HAD to have told someone at ABC..cuz..those ATFT things are always filled with audiences..to gush over the new happy couple..then..3 weeks later..we read they broke up..I think..there was only 1..I forget which..where they both came on and said..no..it was over..but there was an audience..

This time..it was done in private..why?..aks yourself…that..OK..so ABC did not tell Jason..pick Mel..then dump her..her’s 20K for the wedding to Molly…sure..thats a great conspiracy…more than likely..and I disagree a bit with RS..is..Jason changed his mind..shortly after the engagment..told ABC..and then the..oh this is going to be good..scenary was concocted..so..Jason DOES stay with Mel..maybe she could sense it..in his face..his words..maybe when she came on..she had a gut feeling..but still..Jason did not do the right thing..til he was on TV…duhhhhhhhh..what kind of man is that..?..its a puppet on a string..yeah..Molly is soo lucky..she gets the jellyfish..in the end..a man with no backbone..to say NO…I wont hurt Mel on TV..Mr Cry all the time..when he sent anyone else home..Mr Sensitive..would he do that?..NO…
he is a fake..let me tell ya..a lil tobasco rubbed in the eyes..man..can make you cry..

Jason is fake..a product of the..15 min of fame..DeAnna Pappas Syndrome..

Jason..GO AWAY too…you have had more then enuf “press”.

    so yeah..scripted..fake..silly

but yet..I watch..in fact..I am gonna watch MORE now..smiles..to see if I too can predict the seemingly unpredictable..

  303. NothingisReal Says:

Jillian..of you read this..congrats on being the next Bachellorette..or..maybe you can still back out..either way..if you do it..hell..its Free Booze..Free Food..lots of hot guys..helicopter rides..one on one performances by some singer..dinner on top of the Eiffel Tower..whatever..go for it..

Then do like your grandma (baba) said and marry a nice Ukrainian from Alberta..

    Pity I am a too old..too married for you Ukrainian..or I’d propose now..g

I think The Bachellor(ette) is THE funniest how on TV..now..its kind of like..I soy with my little eye..something that is scripted..now

    too funnyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

ok..thats enuf of me for today..*waves bye*

  304. Dlicious Says:

Release the emails Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let Melissa have some vindication!!!!ABC should be ashamed of themselves!!

  305. kateenc Says:

I’ve read that the emails are available on the Internet but I’ve been unable to find them. Another blogger that supported RS said she had read the emails as well.

As for Jason – he’s afraid of horses, afraid of the second bungee jump with Molly and seems to be afraid to make a decision. The only thing he really seems good at is creating a shrine to that child. I feel sorry for Molly.

DeAnna “Dinero” Pappas, get back under your rock.

  306. PattyH Says:

Been reading you for years, Steve, but have never posted. Just wanted to say you are amazing and so glad you have the nerve to come forward with this. If you get to communicate with Melissa, in any way, please tell her she has many fans who find this whole thing disgusting! Can’t wait to read your snarky columns again.

  307. less0305 Says:

Thanks Steve!!! You Rock!! And I am totally on board with you. Set up, set up, set up!!! And yeah, no one will convince me that sly ole Jason wasn’t scooping around with Molly behind Melissa’s back. What a jerk wad. And I feel that Molly has probably gotten a whole bunch of hate mail via the web and around her home since all has been leaked… she was all a part of the set up and Jason’s little plea/whine to not hate Molly really isn’t going to help.

Poor Jillian. I had hoped she would have better sense than to get involved again with ABC and The Bachelor. Well, at this point, all I can say is she gets what she gets and she has no one to blame but herself. She should know how the game works now and if she’s willing to play, then I have no sympathy for her.

Thanks again for all your blogs. I’ve enjoyed the hell out of reading your blog and the comments this season!

  308. j-ro Says:

Thanks Steve! Great details. You got a great scoop here. Whether the producers put Jason up to picking Melissa when he really wanted Molly from the beginning is something we’ll probably never know.

This is “reality” television and yes, the editing will make everything seem like something it isn’t. Regardless of how he ended up with Molly, he’s with Molly. Will it last? Who knows?

I refuse to badmouth either one of them because we really don’t know what happens. And besides there are people with shitty characters we interact with every single day.

Will I watch again? HELL YEAH! I’ll be on the edge of my seat on Monday and Tuesday…lol…Will I watch the next seasons? Yup. If you say you won’t, you’re lying to yourself.

Its not real life. Its TV!

  309. j-ro Says:

By the way, I also want to know what Megan thought of Molly. The interview cut off right when we were getting to the good part!

  310. geriatric Says:

DeAnna is a bad actress that wants to be somebody. She had her chance and she blew it.

    GO AWAY, DEANNA!

As for Jason………I hope he finds what he’s looking for-I just can’t believe that in the end he’ll be with Molly forever and always-she’ll figure him out. (I hope)

  311. IHeartMaddie Says:

RS – I’m curious and I’m not sure if this has been addressed yet by you or other readers. IYO, do you think it was also scripted that Melissa make it to F2 since Jason had known all along who his F1 would be? And having Jill leave at F3 was “coincidentally” the best setup for her new Bachelorette status.

  312. geriatric Says:

#311-I wouldn’t be surprised…….this is just good entertainment. I’ve never understood why they call it “Reality TV”. There’s nothing ever “real” about any of those shows.

I’ve always thought Survivor was set up or, in the least, the contestants are manipulated, the editing is done so as to favor one contestant over another, etc.

So is American Idol-the judges favor and campaign for certain contestants.

I think all “Reality TV” shows are edited for the ratings-it’s the way they play the game.

It’s just good plain entertainment until people really start being used and or humiliated at the expense of others, i.e. “Biggest Loser”. (btw that’s the most awful show ever in the “Reality TV” venue IMO)

  313. impatient Says:

#294–I am with you on this. It also baffles me that Jason is doing media rounds like a happy teenage boy that just fell in love when just weeks ago he broke someone he supposedly loves heart–talk about not being able to wrap my head around it! I am watching for sure! Who wouldn’t be able to at this point after almost 2 months on the board…..

  314. spunk Says:

Hey Steve! WTG I am just LMAO at all the people over at Fort that say they have nothing to apologize for. They need to eat crow.

I just want to point out one thing. Some of you have mentioned that Melissa was not blinsided because she was somber when she walked on the set. Well think about it, Jason had to in some ways let her know that the relationship wasn’t working out. I bet he did it right before the AFTR. I mean imagine if he had acted as if everything was ok and he still was madly inlove with her up until the last minute. Then he really would look like a total jerk and a good actor on TV. Melissa would have said to him something along the lines, of just yesterday you were acting so in love and then It would have been obvious it was a set up. So I am sure he gave her a hint a guy does not have to say much or do much for a woman to sense something is just not quite right.

I have loved this ride. Thank you Steve for providing the best entertainment at the expense of ABC’s lack of integrity.

  315. disturbed Says:

We all know very well that this was all planned.
IT IS OUR JOB TO SHOW ALL OTHER FANS OF THE SHOW THIS WEBSITE AFTER THEY WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.
They may all fall into the “change of heart story,” but we all know what really went on. The only way other fans can understand the situation is by reading RealitySteve. I have told my roommate numerous times that sht is going to go down Monday night, but I won;t tell her what it is. She WILL read this after the show.
I am once again disturbed by all of this. Disgusting.

  316. bamareader Says:

just left my first comments, but can not see them. TEST

  317. bamareader Says:

Okay — here goes one more time— I hope Melissa finds true love. Loved seeing the other castoffs finding each other. They are so sweet together. I wish Melissa and Jeremy from Dallas (Deanna’s #3) would meet and fall in love. They both have someting in common now.

  318. ruher Says:

Maybe someone has already brought this up, but I would guess that TB contract for Jason stipulated that he HAD to pick one girl for for TFR. After that fiasco with Brad, I’d bet that they have added a clause to be SURE that that type of ending never happens again. Just trying to look at the situation J might have been in, explaining why he picked Melissa at all if he really was torn between the two.

  319. tracey Says:

I hope you release the emails to Melissa. I wish she could sue ABC for setting her up and not letting the reality play out. In the end she may not have been picked but they set her up for a bigger, harder fall and all for the sake of their ratings. Man I would like them to loose.

I loved Jillian all a long but I hate to see her involved with these Producers at ABC. What a bunch of greedy jerks. I wish for justice for Melissa. I wish the truth would come out.

Jason is a jerk for playing a long. HE IS NOT A MAN! A real man would not have done what he did. Have fun Molly!

I think that whole Deanna, “PLEASE TAKE ME BACK” was scripted too.

  320. Carrie Says:

Though I just found this site a month ago, I had no doubt in you Steve. It played out just the way you described. I’m so proud that Melissa did not subject herself to coming back for “round 2 humiliation.” I truly hope she can move forward with her life and find someone that truly loves her for her.

In regards to Jason and Molly, they deserve each other. I give it four months. Someone’s “eyes” can not be the glue holding a relationship together, and while I get the impression Molly could care less if she’s thought of as a lying tramp, I think the extreme hatred/backlash will get to Jason as I see him as someone who is very weak and pathetic, needing constant validation. I think after the whole tent scene Jason knew who he wanted, game over, and the producers took advantage of it to make this a season people would be talking about. I can’t wait to see Molly’s “I’m shocked” expression, as I’m guessing it will be her typical, dead behind the eyes look. She is not an actress, and I doubt she will be believable. She knew what she was there for.

I mentioned it after the WTA…I think the ABC team realized the reactions people are having out on these boards, which is why they were already eluding to Jillian being the next Bachelorette. Kind of a “We know you’re really upset about this season and feel duped, but remember how much you love Jillian? Isn’t she wonderful? You just HAVE to come back and watch her next season, no matter how pissed you are at what went down with Jason, Melissa and Molly. Watch Jillian!”

I will likely watch Monday night, only because I’ve come this far and want to see the farce for myself. It’s actually my 7 year anniversary with my husband on 3/2, but since he has class that night I might as well watch. As much as I loved Jillian and I hope she can be a success story for the show, I think I’ll go back to watching something else on my Monday evenings. I will definitely be checking Steve’s site for the recaps though, because even without seeing the show they are very witty and entertaining. Thank you Steve, for letting us know the truth and not allowing us to be sucked into the lie.

  321. geriatric Says:

Maybe Jason was agonizing and crying over the balcony because he realized he’d been duped or coerced into making the wrong decision and he was not proud of what he had done. He probably realized he’d made a mistake by going along and not doing what was in his heart (as opposed to what they told him to do for the ratings).

I guess I feel sorry for all of them for being played like a fiddle, but then….they had to know the show would be heavily edited and the producers would try to manipulate the outcome for the ratings?

  322. spunk Says:

I just want to just say that I believe RS when he said this was scripted from the begining. I am sure once they picked Mr. gentleman, Fleiss decided that the most shocking ending would be him dumping someone the audience fell in love with on national televison.

Some people have a hard time grasping this concept because they just cant see that Fleiss could predict from the begining that Jason will fall inlove with Molly and we will ask him to pretend to be madly in love with Melissa and then dump her.

Of course it did not come to be that way. Fleiss just had his little chess board out and was playing with his pawns. He probably had the concept of; Jason will fall in love with his Pawn A, they asked Melissa to be on the show because they knew they could edit her the way they did the poor dumpee that america would feel sorry for. They then set the plan into action, as if you love Pawn A, you will pick Pawn B and then dump her.

If he had really fallen in love with Melissa she would of been the F2 and Jillian would of been the F1 another one america fell inlove with. Molly was never going to be the dumpee ( at least not the way they edited her) because people would of not felt sorry for her or been shocked. I am telling you people if you look at this as being produced by a money making, rating hungry, $$$$$ machine that the entertainment business is, I have no problem beliving how cold, premeditated and calculating the producers can be.

  323. DaNovaD Says:

Boy do you deserve a vacation after this fine job, Steve. Your fans truly appreciate all the investigative work, journalistic endeavors, and videotapes–thank you from one of them.
I do not know if Molly/Jason will last because I truly think that Jason comes with some emotional baggage. How can this man, who has been on two reality love shows, claim to love three women over the course of 1 year, get ditched by one, proposes to another while loving another, ditches his fiancee on prime time TV causing her big time humiliation, only to sweep back into the life of what he calls his true love (with whom he carried on while engaged)? Does not sound like any normal person I know. Whether he did it because ABC put a gun to his head or he did not really know his true heart, doesn’t matter. It was the way he did it and the fact that he did it, period.
If it is true that DeAnna comes back in order to let it be known that she is available for him, DeAnna is a fruit loop also. Could she be this desperate to appear on prime time TV and do this? This would make her a three time loser as well, and emotionally immature or at the very least, insecure. Doesn’t this woman have any self-esteem?
Molly is no better than Jason because if it was true that Jason does propose to Melissa, what was she thinking in trying to keep the embers ablaze being with Jason while he was engaged to Melissa? What sort of excuse did Jason to make to her in order to keep her coming back to him? She has no scruples and is a two timer big time and does not care who is watching! If Jason did this to Melissa when they were engaged, what makes Molly think he won’t do it to her as well if/when they get engaged? He did it once, he can do it again.
If the scene of Jason crying on the balcony is true, after sending Molly home, why does he purpose to Melissa? He appeared truly emotional and wouldn’t that tell you something is wrong, if you are crying so much over someone you just let go out of your life? How could he rationalize to himself the feelings he had for Melissa then, his so called fiancee, the woman he chose to spend his life with, if he carried on so much on getting rid of #2 in his life? This should have been his wake up call and he should have, right then and there, either asked for Molly to come back, or not to have engaged to Melissa, the innocent bystander, so to speak. Just what was he thinking? 13 pieces of gold for your thoughts, Jason.
What a shame Melissa had to go through this, in front of hundreds of people. It sounds as if she had an inkling of something bound to happen; trust a woman’s intuition. If it were me, I would have killed Jason first, Molly second, CH third, and Fleiss fourth. But she is not me and she comes out smelling like “a rose.” Good for her! She can hold her head up and walk out a lady. I wish her well, but am sorry that this had to have happened to a nice person over a TV show for ratings and money.
I’m glad that Steph and Jillian (my 2 faves) got out in time (as I am sure they are as well).I wonder what their thoughts are; I’d like to hear their reactions to all of this.
I think I have had enough after this season and will not be watching either TB or “Ette,” despite the fact that Jill will be on it. Sorry she is going back for more. She should have learned her lesson (via osmosis or at least hearing the rumors, watching it all go down on TV) from this season. God only knows what Fleiss has in mind for her.
Thanks again, Steve, for making this becoming very quickly boring season enjoyable again, no thanks to Fleiss or any of the players, but because of your columns and sleuthing work! Made me want to see it to the end just to see HOWE it happened!

  324. Georgie Says:

Ok, I’ve got me head covered for the raft of shit I’ll get for this, but here goes. Having found this site just a week ago, I do not have the “connection” with RS that most of you apparently do. My feeling is that all three (J, Mel and Mol) were in on this from pretty early on, take notice that whenever Mel is “opening up” to J she is hardly ever shown from a front angle, always the side. It’s difficult for her to lie because it shows in her eyes, esp. the hot tub scene, the “I’ve fallen in love with you” scene, and the publicness parents scene, we never saw her eyes in any of those shots. Also could be why she wasn’t at the ATFR2, she’s an open book, can’t lie for her life. I was never a fan of jason’s, don’t find him the least bit attractive, and he’s def a little wishy-washy. But he obviously loves his son, I am trying to imagine how he could deliberately hurt Mel. I always try to see the good side of people, sounds naive for a 55 year old, I know, but I refuse to buy into the “Jason’s a POS, Molly’s a slut” talk until I have ALL the facts, which we don’t yet.

  325. momof7 Says:

Steve -Great job scooping this! I wanted to ask or comment: Didnt you say that in the interview w/ Megan she mentioned that Jason came back and filmed another scene w/ o any other interaction? I’m wondering if thats the crying over the balcony scene – It just seems so acted/out of place. I guess those of you with Tvo can carefully check to see if this is the exact same clothing/hair, etc that he was wearing when he dumps Molly – I somehow think they added that in AFTER. thaey I guess we’ll see this week…
I dont think many of us are truly surprised that “reality” tv is scripted – PLEASE people.. It’s all in the editing – Even if it wasnt planned – it’ll definilty be spun to make the network look the way they want it to…
AND – The tent as a gift? so classless!
I think we all need to step back – take a break and remember – It’s a TV show!!
Good job Steve – You’re a great communicator!

  326. spunk Says:

One more thing. Did any one notice how most of the woman were nice and eveyone got along this season? Well they probably casted plenty of nice woman, america would fall for to give themselves plenty of wiggle room as to who they would choses as the dumpee. Imagine if they had decided to go with Stephanie as the dumpee? OMG that would of been somthing, so yes it could have been worse.

So if you really think about it there probably wasn’t much scripting at all. CH is right in saying that. They just picked plenty of woman that were nice, told Jason if you think you love A then you will pick B and dump her to get back A. They let things play out naturally and then did lots of good editing. A brilliant, genius that Fleiss is. I sure do hope that they are giving Melissa monetary compensation to pay for her shrink bills. Not that she would probably take it.

  327. intofocus Says:

I am a long time fan of Steve’s.
What he is saying is only 95% correct though.
I was at the taping. I heard Molly’s side. I saw all of it.
Whoever is Steve’s contact didn’t tell him everything, or Steve just didn’t want to print it.

Steve is wrong about his “speculation” about Molly seeing Jason in those 6 weeks before Jason broke up with Melissa.

I am shocked that Steve is insinuating this based on his belief.
Steve based alot of things (like the scripting of this show) on his belief.
I dare him to print those emails.
They will show that Melissa only thought Jason was seeing Molly because she saw him back away.
That doesn’t mean he actually did see Molly at all.

Only people who were at the taping will know of this story.

Steve, please don’t speculate when people’s morals are at stake. You have no idea.

  328. geriatric Says:

    IMO:

    Jason is emotionally retarded.

DeAnna is a publicity $$$$ seeker and will do anything for it.

Jillian is too sweet & good to be on B’Ette.

Melissa deserves better and will find true love.

Stephanie is still the classiest one of all and will find a rich Southern gentleman to love her and Sophia.

Jessie will continue to play the field until he runs out of money-then he’ll have to get a real job.

Everyone will live happily ever after.

  329. Yankee Says:

He’s spineless and didn’t say no when the show approached him about doing this. He should have said he would do the break in private and to cancel the ATR1. That would have been the classy thing to do. You don’t do a break on tv and trot out your new girlfried five minutes later. Show knew Jason was wussy and played into that. It worked.

  330. alltimebachfan Says:

#92 said this. why would Jason risk dumping Melissa if he didn’t know he had Molly in the bag? that makes sense, the ONLY sense. if there was a chance Molly would be there for him (possibly over, yes loyalty over dumping Melissa the way he did), or her having second thoughts over being second pickings, there is no well in heck, he would have taken that chance.

  331. tvchick Says:

For everyone who can’t believe what a JERK Jason is … think of it this way: it was misplaced REVENGE. Who was the girl who reminded him of his ex? Reminded him of Deanna? Reminded him of women who broke his heart … He “got” Melissa before she “got” him (in his twisted mind). And now he’s picked the less threatening girl & gotten her to dye her hair so as to be more “his type”.

    Blerg. What a tool.

  332. Kam Says:

#327 No one cares what Molly has to say or believes that she had no contact with Jason and happily took him back 2 months later after he proposes to Melissa first. This was a set up and anything that comes out her mouth will have zero effect on the audience. We didn’t like her all the other episodes and we won’t liker her now- end of story. She thought way too much of herself to take someone back after a couple months without prior knowledge. That is clear.

  333. Yankee Says:

Of course Molly and Jason had contact after the show ended. Do you really believe that she sat him and stewed for 8 weeks and all of a sudden decided to give it a try? Not. He had been in contact long before that but of course that isn’t something they would share. They don’t want to look like cheaters.

  334. Yankee Says:

    Sorry…I meant say home. lol

here’s my vote to release the emails, another AYE.

also to The Original TCB, whenever i see your screen name, it reminds me of The Original KFC, lol!! after all our mention of food last night, i should have brought it up then, but i kept forgetting. from the first time i saw it thats what came to mind. we were so wrapped up in other things.

  336. krabparker Says:

first time poster long time Reality Steve reader. I didn’t want to believe that RS was right but I think he is. ABC will spin this however they are going to spin this. It may have gone down the way they are going to portray it but I dont think so. yesterday on fridays The View they had Jason on. Elizabeth is a fan of the show and said that there were rumors online and Jason said that the main rumors he wanted to address was the one about it being a set up. he said this was his real true experience. I didn’t believe him. I have watched at least ten of the seasons of the bachelor. not all the batchelors or bachelorettes have interested me. but this season really did intrigue me. I watched with everyone else when DeAnna broke his heart and I wanted to think he over any of the other Bachelors would be really looking for the love of his life. Maybe he was and has found his one true love but I really could care less. That is a disappointment to me. I think it truly may be time to retire the series.

  337. alltimebachfan Says:

To those of you doubting ABC’s participation in this, i’ve always known of their antics, however, this season takes the cake. ratings are their first and foremost concern. also, take it or leave it but other reality shows have their own manipulating as well. i won’t ruin your shows but for those of you that want to dig, find the tools and go for it. you’ll still watch. i do. and i choose what and when i let myself “spoil”.

  338. grewmeAname Says:

JUST WHEN YOU THINK IT”S NOT OVER:

    *Molly dumps Jason.

*Jason RE-appears as a bachelor on the Jillian show!

  339. grewmeAname Says:

    #328 geriatric:

    –no mention of Molly?

  340. grewmeAname Says:

    #328 geriatric:

Maybe she can work for a sporting goods store — selling tents!

  341. alltimebachfan Says:

#338, because, Jillian is way too smart a girl to have him after all this. there would be no mercy. no woman with self respect that had been part of the season would take him.

i do think its pitiful of Jason to not even put a promise ring on Molly’s finger, since they’ll be living together.

  342. alltimebachfan Says:

also, i believe it went, ‘JUST when you think its over,”

  343. campy__kc Says:

I really do not think this ending was set up back in the fall during filming. I just think Jason is a tool who played right into Fleiss’s hands. Jason had no business proposing to Melissa at all–none. I can’t imagine even watching the season play out if I were his “fiancee,” seeing how torn he was between two women. Obviously, he broke up with Melissa before most of the episodes had even aired, but gosh, if I were Molly and Molly’s parents, I don’t know that I’d “love” Jason after watching the entire show.

It sounds as if Melissa wasn’t as blindsided as you have led us to believe, Steve. Nonetheless, what Jason and ABC did is wrong on every level. Are we to believe that it makes Jason honorable because he didn’t want to carry this farce out for another couple of months until the show ended, hence the early ATFR taping? That’s where I do believe ABC had a hand in all of this and absolutely manipulated things. What, Jason just called them up one day and said, “Look, I really don’t want to be with Melissa anymore; I want a chance with Molly”? Baloney! I’m with the others who believe he HAD to have had some sort of contact with Molly prior to the first ATFR. And obviously, ABC had to have helped him with that since all of them are normally prisoners until the finale airs.

We may never know the extent of how all of this came about. Yes, Steve, you were correct that he breaks up with Melissa to date Molly. I think you’re going a bit overboard with all your other comments about being vindicated and believing this and believing that. You had a source who gave you some accurate info. Beyond that, much of what you’re saying is speculation, and in the scheme of things, does it really matter? The end result is still the same.

  344. DRAGONFLY Says:

Another thing to think about – why would Molly feel the need to address the pregnancy rumor? This only adds fuel to the speculation about their tent experience and/or whether she and Jason were “together” after NZ. This makes her appear even worse, does nothing to dispel to rumors of her complicity, and is part of the spin.

  345. spunk Says:

He is probably pretending to love Molly too. Part of the plan. He wil dump her too. I am sure he is not comfortable with her moving to Seattle so soon.

  346. The Original TCB Says:

    228. owl Thanks for that post. You mentioned the possibility of somebody thinking about maybe waiting for marriage. Bravo! I thought I was the only one in the world to feel that way! haha That is how I have always felt, personal experience included. That’s awesome.

    335. alltimebachfan LOL We were all making each other hungry. Dang, KFC sounds great right now! hahaha That’s too funny. The Original KFC :)

  347. The Original TCB Says:

    341. alltimebachfan said “i do think its pitiful of Jason to not even put a promise ring on Molly’s finger, since they’ll be living together.”

Bravo to you too! I completely agree with this too. I, for one, don’t agree with him bring her to live with him in the first place without being married. Especially with his little boy around. I know I’m old fashioned, but that is just my opinion.

  348. grewmeAname Says:

    342. alltimebachfan, I stand corrected; you’re right

I hope you know I was kidding in 338 — sort of. Spunk has already mentioned his not being comfortable with Molly moving to Seattle this soon. He seems far LESS happy on his recent interviews than those he did in early Jan.

On second thought, maybe I’m right………..:-)

  349. canusaybrainwash Says:

Again, you all keep saying “Now I know” and that you won’t watch, etc. But, none us really knows do we? All of these leaks could be deliberate on behalf of ABC. RS didn’t say he way there, he said that is the information he was given. Everyone is calling mol a whore and jason names and abc names but why not save all of this to see what the ending will actually be? i’m not saying RS is lying but simply is only reporting information which is being reported to him. I just think it’s too clean and clear cut…

  350. The Original TCB Says:

Dang, I was hoping that I would get on here this afternoon and the emails would be up!! :)

  351. ians1mom Says:

I have been reading your blog for several years now but have never commented before, but feel compelled to now. I have believd what you have said from the beginning. I figure you have no reason to lie and ABC, let’s face it, is not as white as the driven snow. All of the producers and whatnot associated with this show are in it for the bottom line, ratings and money and would sell their souls to satan for a buck. I have no doubt that it didn’t bother them in the least to hurt a girl they don’t really know in order to make a profit. The only thing that perplexes me is Jason going along with it. I guess he isn’t the great guy they made him out to be either. It never ceases to amaze me what some people will do for money.

And RS, thanks for the scoop and for letting us know what is coming up in the final episodes of the show. I will be watching because it’s like a train wreck that you can’t stop looking at, even though you know you shouldn’t. I’m not sure about the next seasons though, but even if I don’t watch them I will be back to see what you had to say about them. That is the best part of the show, watching and then reading your blog the next day to see what you have to say about it and to get your comic spin!

  352. campy__kc Says:

As far as the e-mail exchange, yeah, I’d like to see it because frankly, I don’t think they’re any kind of smoking gun. I was here the night Jerusha (?) posted about the e-mail and sent it to Steve to see if it was real. Unless I’m mistaken, Melissa was upset with Jason for breaking up with her on TV, and that’s what Jason was responding to when he said the producers made him do it. I don’t think it had anything to do with Jason saying the producers set this up from early on and told him to pick Melissa in order to have Molly. So yeah, Steve, if the e-mail exchange proves that Jason was in on something from the beginning, then let’s see it. If it’s nothing more than what I said here, please stop using it as “evidence” that you’ve been right about all of this.

  353. alltimebachfan Says:

LOL, to TCB, i didn’t know when you’d be aboard again or if you’d even catch my comment. too bad the Colonel doesn’t deliver!! it is about lunch time.

i firmly tried to stay away from the board for awhile but i know where my children are and i caved. so i reheated the coffee and got a brownie and turned on the computer. :) there’s nearly a pan full left. i see many of you martyred late after i retired. of course i didn’t sleep. my mind went for a full 2 hours in bed upon retiring.

  354. spunk Says:

Do you all think she will actually move in with him? I was thinking she would move to Seattle and get her own place. On the other hand if she does move in with him she probably will not give up her place now in case things don’t really work out.

May be ABC is buying them a place of their own so they won’t have to be so crammed in Jason’s little place. Part of the deal.

  355. The Original TCB Says:

    353. alltimebachfan :)
ok now I’m hungry. Somebody a while back said they forget to eat when they’re on here. I think that’s me. I think I will actually eat and come back hehe

  356. virginiabeachcheckingin Says:

I know I was on way too late last night, and ate way too many M&M’s; took me forever to get sleepy enough to actually sleep.

  357. alltimebachfan Says:

#347 TCB – also, this scenario reminds me of the Firestone/Jen bit where she went to Cali to moved in with him and the room mate. Jason has the brother at the house. i do believe that is to help with little Ty, but makes it difficult for any romance to blossom with another adult hovering.

also, if the two had not been in contact, it would definitely be way to premature for Molly to make this decision. her announcement of not being pregnant, to me indicates that “she could possibly have been”, meaning sex has been involved, other than the evening of the fantasy date. if there were no possibility, she would have worded it otherwise, like – that’s not a possibilty yet, he just asked me to reconsider.

  358. virginiabeachcheckingin Says:

Speaking of past bachelors, have any of you watched The doctors tv show with Travis? I actually do like him; liked him on the bachelor season and liked Sarah (think that was her name); he appears to be doing really well for himself; happened to catch it yesterday and they were talking about love potions or something like that and he said he needed a ‘find me a wife’ potion. I wonder whatever really happened with him; I have to think that the enforced break between end of taping and announcement has to be really harmful to any possible relationship.

  359. Mandy Says:

Jason said he’s engaged on Dec 10. I don’t care if he says he’s not a good actor and he wouldn’t be able to keep it inside, the show doesn’t want them to tell the ending. To me, there is something wrong with the fact that they let him talk of being engaged so early.

  360. campy__kc Says:

Given that Jason has never once denied going all the way with the women on the overnights, it would be silly for Molly to act as if she did nothing that might result in a pregnancy. I don’t think they went all the way in the tent. I do think they did on the overnight. Her parents must be so proud. Lord knows I would never have gone on a show like that at age 24, knowing my family, co-workers, friends, etc. would all see me in such intimate moments. My parents would have been horrified!

  361. alltimebachfan Says:

#358, no i haven’t kept up with the show Travis is on. interesting he made that comment. he sure wasn’t ready to settle back then. i did like him professionally as a Dr. he treated the women well, but mostly i think he was interested in maintaining his professional image. except of course with Moana, he couldnt’ seem to hold back with her, though they edited well.

  362. alltimebachfan Says:

What i am wondering about is how Jillian will handle her season. if alcohol affects her so, she shouldn’t drink at all or she will look rather bad with the men when the passion rises. she should ask them to put ginger ale in her glass, nobody would be the wiser. its true, having your friends, family and everyone on national TV viewing your intimate moments is not a good thing when they get so steamy.

  363. SciFiDude Says:

    Steve,

Thank you for sticking your neck out there these past few weeks to really expose the lengths to what Fleiss & company will do. I know that your “opinons” expressed have been the result of good reasoning, a background of behind-the-scenes information, and years of covering the franchise. I hope we will all remember that these reality TV shows are for entertainment purposes only and unfortunately, there are real people’s lives involved. The decisions they make are molded by the isolated “environment” that the producers create and we should treat them not as a faceless tv character, but as a real person. Even though I am just a recent reader of your blogs, I intend on keeping up with your site in the future and look forward to your humorous comments in future Bachelor(ette) seasons and other shows as well.

Thank you again for all your effort to inform the public and prepare us for the coming events.

    Dude

  364. Never2Late Says:

Jillian and the hot tub scene….Jillian KNEW that she was not being picked by Jason and that she could be the next bachelorette….trouble is she is kind of the girl next door, not enough spice….so she and Jason did the hot tub scene. This gave her a bit of sizzle and got everyone riled up about Jason leading her on. She is like everyone else on this show, wanting her shot at the 15 minutes of fame….

  365. Carolyn Says:

Steve, you are the BEST! I never doubted you. I am glad you mentioned the pod people who believed that Dudley’s mother was posting at their site and claiming that her son and Mel were not only together but planning a wedding date. Give me a break. Their excuses will start piling up to show that their information wasn’t wrong at all. What a joke!

Thankfully, we have you, Steve, for the truth!

  366. geriatric Says:

#340 – I didn’t leave Molly out deliberately. Molly will sleep with Jason till the new wears off and he dumps her. THEN she’ll take a job selling tents…….Lol

  367. The Original TCB Says:

    357. alltimebachfan I agree that Molly addressing it seems telling.
And everybody else’s posts about wanting to be private…That is me. I would never want to be seen kissing all over someone on TV. And even if I had been on that show when I was the girls’ age, I would obviously NOT have slept with the Bachelor. So then, the show always makes it LOOK like they did. I would never want someone thinking that I did. So it is a no win situation for someone with morals like that.

  368. Carolyn Says:

Steve, forgot to say….PLEASE post the email between Dudley and Melissa!!!! I am tired of Dudley going around saying that there was never anything planned ahead of time with the show. He is so full of it; trying to come across as a person just simply trying to be true to his feelings. RIGHT!

  369. disallusioned grandma Says:

I tried to post a comment after the Megan Parris interview, but I don’t think it posted, so will post it here.
First, I want to say, thank you for making people register to leave comments. I agree with you that people were getting very vulgar and disrespectful on your site the other night, and it was uncalled for. I was very disgusted by it.
I really enjoyed the Megan Parris interview. I was looking forward to it, because I was sure that she was portrayed to be someone she was not, through editing.. I could see the hurt in her eyes and hear it in her voice in her exit interview, and it was obvious that interview was edited. It is very sad that they promised her they would bring her baby, Deacon, out to visit her, and then didn’t keep their promise. What a nice lady she is. And I just knew that General Hospital kiss, that they put her up to kissing him for so long, and then portrayed her to look so desperate!
After what you have revealed to us about what happened this season, I am so disgusted with this show. I am watching it, because I want to see it played out, but it makes me sick to watch Jason in interviews, (I saw him on The View yesterday) and even seeing upcoming commercials of the show just gives me a sad feeling. Maybe Jason was manipulated by the producers do what he did, but to hurt Melissa was a very cruel thing to do. No wonder she doesn’t want to appear on the final show. There is an old saying that “One person’s happiness should not come at the expense of another’s.” So very true.
I hope that Jason and Molly will be happy, but Jason is going to have to live with what he did for the rest of his life.
Someone posted an article about Hilary Mesnick in the comments after Megan’s interview. Yes, Hilary Mesnick is Jason’s ex-wife, and if you google Hilary Mesnick, it will show you a link to the video she is in called “Happy.”

  370. Imsotired Says:

Does anyone remember the “personality types” for Jillian’s hot dog test? If there was a topping that describes what we now know of Jason, I want to have that for dinner on Monday. Help!

  371. Mandy Says:

I was never a fan of Deanna or Jason’s so their behavior or success really didn’t bother me. However, I do like Jillian and I hope her behavior doesn’t cause people to end up trashing her at the end.

I think they use former rejects because they aren’t sure how the women viewers will respond to a bachelorette who hasn’t been shown before. At least they know from the beginning that the chosen one has fans why will be rooting for her. They probably figure that most women will always want to watch a good looking guy but aren’t sure about an unknown bachelorette.

  372. geriatric Says:

#367 – Amen! If my Mother ever saw me act the way those girls do on national TV in front of millions, she’d knock me into next week! I was raised in a pretty strict family where you don”t air your dirty laundry in public, you don’t tell filthy jokes to your coworkers, and above all-you act like a lady in public…….a lady would never, NEVER act the way some of those girls do. Why do they go on national TV & do the things they do?

  373. The Original TCB Says:

    371. Mandy great post

  374. The Original TCB Says:

    372. geriatric Right. I can’t believe the way they act, with the “intimate” stuff they show. My family would be so embarrassed and I would die! Actually, my daddy would let me have it!! lol Rightfully so I think. And plus, I wouldn’t get far in the show if I had ever been on because I WOULDN’T have done all that with him LOL Not only would I not want anybody to see, but I wouldn’t even want to participate. They all just met him, and then do all that. I think that’s nasty lol
I know I sound like I’m 106. I am not, just to set the record straight haha.

  375. Flyonthewall Says:

    Paging Pinkgirl, paging Pinkgirl!

  376. alltimebachfan Says:

#367 and #372, i remember when Trista did the 1st Bach-ette, she said she knew the bar would be set higher for her as a woman. of course she would have to be kissing the men, but she knew she would be judged by her actions nonetheless. more was expected of her and maybe rightly so. maybe Fleiss put pressure on her, we don’t know, but after getting her heart broken, i think she definitely meant to keep her head on straight in passionate moments. i think the reason we are all so peeved with Jason is because we were led to believe he was this great, loving Dad, gentlemanly man, and now we know we had the wool pulled over out eyes, he showed his true colors. if you can’t be who you are are national TV and it be the same person you are at home with your kid, that is truly sad.

  377. alltimebachfan Says:

oops, “over OUR eyes” and you are ON national TV. sorry.

  378. The Original TCB Says:

    376. alltimebachfan First I think, what is his kid gonna think when he sees this as he gets older? Then I think, the kid may turn out to be just like him!

  379. The Original TCB Says:

well I posted, did it go through??

  380. The Original TCB Says:

    oops sorry. there it is

  381. geriatric Says:

Original TCB, are we related? It sounds like we might have the same parents. I would have to know someone a whoooooollllleee lot longer than they do to act the way those girls do and then only in private-LOL

The show makes some of the girls appear to be trashy & slutty, loose & wanton-at least the editing does. Knowing that in advance, why would any decent self respecting girl ever agree to be on one of those shows???

I would die of embarassment and humiliation if everyone watching national TV saw me acting that way…

Of course, the difference is that I never would-there’s not enough money in this world to make me prostitute myself the way some of those girls do.

No and I am NOT the church lady! LOL
    TSK-TSK

  382. TwinMom Says:

ABC can put whatever spin they want. I go with the logical conclusion that he WAS seeing Molly while engaged to Melissa. While an engagement is not like marriage, it is close, and that is just scummy. Even more so, is allowing ABC to show you dumping her on national TV. When Jen chose neither, that was a whole different ball of wax, so I don’t want people saying that was fine so why not this. Man up and tell the two women you love them both and want to see both to see where it continues. I am sorry, there is nothing redeeming about this. Yes, people can change their mind, and I totally respect someone’s mind being changed because of circumstances or whatever, but do NOT tell me Molly was not in the picture and do NOT tell me you propose to someone knowing you still love someone else. This was planned from the start, and that is why the screen caps were so carelessly released. I won’t be watching Monday or Tuesday but I will be on the lookout for Melissa interviews and, of course, reading Steve’s blog.

  383. alltimebachfan Says:

please refresh my memory of who did not propose,

    -Brad – to neither
-Blob – promise ring on finger
-Travis – promise ring on necklace – (so high school)
-Jesse?? it seems there was someone else early on that didn’t propose but gave a promise ring on her finger….and who was the girl?

  384. The Original TCB Says:

    381. geriatric *HIGH FIVE* LOL I think we’re long lost sisters :)

  385. Flyonthewall Says:

I HAVE A GREAT RECOMMENDATION!!!!!!!!! (sorry for the all caps, just wanted to get your attention :)

TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THOSE YOUTUBE RECAPS OF THE “love story” of the couple to music….

PLEASE do one for Jason to “Slow Fade” by Casting Crowns

    Link to the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xGHILmOHptY

    The lyrics:
Be careful little eyes what you see
It’s the second glance that ties your hands
    As darkness pulls the strings

Be careful little feet where you go
For it’s the little feet behind you
    That are sure to follow

    It’s a slow fade
    When you give yourself away
    It’s a slow fade
When black and white are turned to gray

And thoughts invade, choices are made
    A price will be paid
    When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day

    It’s a slow fade
    It’s a slow fade

Be careful little ears what you hear
    When flattering leads to compromises
    The end is always near

Be careful little lips what you say
    For empty words and promises
    Leave broken hearts astray

    It’s a slow fade
    When you give yourself away
    It’s a slow fade
When black and white are turned to gray

And thoughts invade, choices are made
    A price will be paid
    When you give yourself away
People never crumble in a day

The journey from your mind to your hands
    Is shorter than you’re thinking
Be careful if you think you stand
    You just might be sinking

    It’s a slow fade
    When you give yourself away
    It’s a slow fade
When black and white are turned to gray

And thoughts invade, choices are made
    A price will be paid
    When you give yourself away

People never crumble in a day
DADDIES never crumble in a day
Families never crumble in a day

Oh, be careful little eyes what you see
Oh, be careful little eyes what you see
For the Father up above is looking down in love
Oh, be careful little eyes what you see

  386. The Original TCB Says:

    383. alltimebachfan Jesse did propose.
“Deanna Marie Pappas. Will you spend forever with me??”
……….or until the contract is up after 6 months? lol
    JUST KIDDING

  387. flbchgrl Says:

Steve,I believed you all along and I’m glad you are right. There were a few clues that told me that you were right (and these are not clues I remember you mentioning):
    1. When, in Bachelor history, have screen caps been posted so early and made so obvious? It hasn’t happened in the past because ABC did not want it to get out. This season they wanted us all to think it was Melissa so that they could pull this trick out of their hat after the final rose ceremony. If he genuinely did pick Melissa and there was never any knowledge that he would choose someone else, then we would never have seen those screencaps.
    2. Why was the AFTR1 kept so private? They had to know what was going to happen or else it would have been no different than any other AFTR and there would have been an audience.
    3. I believe Jason is a weenie (a real man would have said “screw contracts, ,this is wrong I won’t do it and ABC can call my attorney”). However, the one coo for Jason is that I don’t believe that he would inentionally hurt someone on national television just for the hell of it. Weenie, yes, douchebag, no. Any guy with any thread of moral decency would have played along as good fiance only to break up with Mel in private at a later date and call it a “mutual breakup” like they always do.

I am somewhat disappointed that Jillian would agree to be the next Bachelorette after what happened to her best friend Melissa, but perhaps the deal was done long before Melissa was publicly humiliated.

Reality Steve, thanks for everything – this has been fun!

  388. alltimebachfan Says:

#381, you are so funny. you know i mentioned a week or so ago that i didn’t think the fantasy dates were all about sex and rather got bashed for it. apparently in Jason’s case they may have. but i do believe (and other Bach’s have come out and confirmed this), that no sex had taken place. Jason has to my knowledge been a first to beat around the bush. many couples use the time to talk privately about matters that they want to discuss off camera. and yes, many of the girls wouldn’t have sex. first, knowing that 2 other women are having the same dates and also, they know their families, friends and everyone on national TV are watching. it is also very late by then past 3 am, i’ve heard, they are tired! i “thought” Jason would be a respectful Bachelor, my thoughts on him have changed dramatically. however, i do believe most of the others have been.

  389. venus Says:

Here’s something to think about regarding whether this show was scripted or not..or how much did TPTB know about the outcome…

Recall how Melissa was edited to be the gal who was always dumped in her previous relationships? We heard about that numerous times.

Lo and behold it happens again!

Isn’t that just too much of a coincidence?

Remember, the editing always tells the story.

It’s my believe those comments were left in to foreshadow what was to come.

They gave us a clue because they knew she would once again be dumped. They wanted sympathy on Melissa’s side when it happened.

And if TPTB didn’t know beforehand that Jason was going to have a change of heart by the January 18 taping then you can decide to believe that it was pure luck or a coincidence that their editing skills unintentionally coincided with the outcome.

    WOW! What a ka-winkie-dink!

  390. flbchgrl Says:

PS – I’d like to add that Melissa didn’t really lose in the long run unless you consider it a prize to marry someone with a kid that lives in a cold, rainy city. I don’t! Get a hot surfer dude that lives in Hawaii, owns his own home, and volunteers with small children in his spare time – then you have yourself a prize!

  391. medavinci Says:

Jason was on the view and they asked if this was all fixed, and he said he would never be a party to anything like that and this was truly his life. whoopi even said “what about your son? is this really the way to choose a wife?” …. he looked embarrassed but said he was really happy and in love. when asked about melissa, he gushed and gushed about how great she was and when they asked about molly, he tried to downplay her like she was no big deal – so obviously she is the one he picked. how transparent can you get?

shame on him….he was dumped by deanna, and he of all people should know what it felt like. he shouldn’t have gotten engaged…just made a pledge to see how it worked out.

i think the bachelor should change their format. have it get down to 2 girls, and then let the guy date them for 6 months…THEN COME BACK and tell the show he decided on one or the other or NEITHER. it’s insane the way they have it now – no wonder only 1 worked (they tried to say 2 did by bringing out jerry oconnell’s brother who was back with his girlfriend and had to announce they broke up because of his drinking – great).

i wish they would have made Stefanie the new bachelorette rather than jillian. She has way more to offer and is so much more interesting than jillian. i will pass on watching that one…she’s a bore.

as for molly, keep her….she reminds me of a vampire with those teeth.

  392. geriatric Says:

As for Molly, I would think her self-esteem might be pretty low about now…..it should be.

In my opinion, she acted trashy on national TV when she came home wearing Jason’s clothes after the tent sleepover and never denied to the other girls that they did what they did. I never would have gone to that tent in the first place knowing the producers would make it look like I slept with him – even if I didn’t. I wouldn’t want millions of people seeing me wearing a stranger’s clothing thinking I slept with him when I didn’t. That’s bad behavior and nasty trashy.

Then, at the end, she’s second-string. No decent lady would accept a man’s proposal knowing he’s been actively seeing and sleeping with someone else AND engaged to them no less!.

My self-esteem would be pretty low allright if I was little Miss Molly..

  393. medavinci Says:

In the comments section of the other blog you have below , number 1858 i believe is signed jasonm, and it says everyone is way off base and they will have to see what happens monday night. what? way off base that he is a gutter snipe jerk who hurt someone? or way off base that he DIDN’T pick molly? everyone knows he picked molly! give it up jason and fleiss your cover is blown.

  394. nocalgal Says:

Steve, I knew you wouldn’t lie to us but man-0-man did I not want to believe what you told us. I feel so played – maybe like Melissa and the rest of the girls feel. The only way we can let ABC know how LOW they have stooped is to tell their advertisers that the show is a sham and we won’t buy their products! THat and not watch the upcoming seasons – Jillian or no Jillian.

What sickens me is that the producers made up the whole schtick about Melissa’s parents – just to have an angle for the show. Stupid people. How they can draw a paycheck from producing this crap is beyond me.

  395. The Original TCB Says:

    391. medavinci You said “when they asked about molly, he tried to downplay her like she was no big deal – so obviously she is the one he picked. how transparent can you get?”

You know I thought the same thing, he was obviously trying to think of generic adjectives like sweet, funny, etc. It was all over his face right then, I thought.

  399. geriatric Says:

    GAG ME!

  400. geriatric Says:

The Joy Behar thing she did with the mouth disinfectant would be me. Before I ever kissed Jason, I would use a commode brush and commode cleaner and scrub his mouth good then spray some Lysol all over him and and hope for the best.

Maybe by that time all the cooties would be washed off, but I doubt it.

  401. beachbum Says:

389 – venus – Remember on the fantasy date when Melissa also made the comment that she loved surprises and that she didn’t get many surprises!

  402. The Original TCB Says:

    LOL!!!!!!!!!!!! @ GERIATRIC

  403. The Original TCB Says:

    a commode brush LOL

  404. TwinMom Says:

Does anyone know how Molly reacted when Jason asked for her to date him? She seemed shocked and looked at Chris a lot from what I understand, but did she have ANY hesitation? If it were me, I’d pretty much have a bunch of questions like if Melissa did anything wrong, why did you let me go in NZ, etc. Of course, even asking those questions may have been planned too. Another good reason to believe he was seeing Molly all along would be the fact Melissa is devastated – like Jason was, like DeAnna was…..wouldn’t that make a wonderful Bachelorette story? Methinks ABC did have a hand in Mol & Jason seeing each other, and she knew it, and there was no way in hell ABC figured she could be the next Bachelorette, even though it would give them great ratings IF people were to believe Jason had a quick change of heart. There is no need to pick a Bachelorette now, and all indications had this been a normal season, would indicate Melissa would be the #1 sympathy candidate for it.

  405. BigEd Says:

“I’ve been vindicated! Thank god. Why would I have lied to you people? ”

RS : What you said is too logical… Jason the sleeze.

Lets hope Jillian the pistol turns out to be the Same Jillian we see now.

    We await your comments…

  406. geriatric Says:

Original TCB-if Jason asked me to be his number two choice, knowing he slept with and dated those others, I might consider it if he went with me to the carwash and got hosed down with one of those wand thingies AFTER I did the commode brush thing. Then, I’d make him beg and buy me B-I-G diamonds. LOL.

  407. GradGrl75 Says:

Geeez, I remember the days of only 30 comments…hahaha. You have opened up a can of worms here! Heck at this point I could care less about theories, all the crap going on has made for me waiting each week to see what will happen!

Whatever happens I hope when the new season rolls around it will all calm down & we will get back to the days of snarky reviews that made my day. You are so funny RS, and I would hate for that to change. I have been reading your blog for at least 5 years and don’t want it to change.

BTW when all this calms down are we going to get a Reality Round-up…make there is a theory about the Rock of Love Tour Bus…now that is entertaining TV!

  408. Small_Peanut Says:

Why I believe Molly knew what was going on.

Remember when she said during the overnight dates to Jason “Aren’t you worried about choosing the wrong girl†and the camera zoomed in on her. Sorry, she’s either very intuitive or that was a planned line – way too coincidental and a perfect flash back when he does choose her after he proposes to Mel.

Not sure if I will stick around for Jillian – I really like her, but thought Jason would be genuine. My bad.

  410. GradGrl75 Says:

Also I cannot stand it when they pick people we already know for the next Bachelor/Bachelorette…we need new blood! Jillian was a cute girl, but if I hear “I know what you are going through…” I might throw my remote at the TV….

  411. The Original TCB Says:

a column, you will take it.You could handle all the
reality shows and interview people that have been
involved with the shows! Please don’t slap me too hard!!

I always wondered about Jason. That fake smile on Deanna’s season. Then right after his season ended in one of his
Seattle interviews he said he was engaged, completely
in love and had an “inkling” from the start who he would pick.
Then later it changed to he was completely in love with two people.THEN it went to I am completely in love and very happy.

Melissa, I just feel sorry for her but she has dodged a bullet
that she will be glad of in the future.I am sure guys will be
lined up for her.She seems very kind and genuine.

And Fleiss…Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t he a relative
of Heidi? All of you remember her.The nice lady that
ran the call girl ring in Washington and wouldn’t release
her records and did jail time. She claimed she had important
people as clients like politicians, doctors, attorneys, etc.
I think that is the story.Must have some bad genes in that
    family!Enough said…

Jason and Molly.Good luck out in the public after Tuesday.
Molly, I sure would not want to be seconds. You had
a golden opportunity to stand up for woman and the
way they are treated and back Melissa. You and Jason
sold you soul to the devil.I sure hope it will be worth it.

  413. The Original TCB Says:

    410. GradGrl75 Good point. That line is getting so old. Deanna said it no less than 700 times. Then she came to eat her own words.

#412, I was thinking the same thing about Mike Fleiss & Heidi being related. Is Mike Fleiss Heidi’s father???? But, then again, I was thinking Heidi’s father was a heart doctor?? Am I remembering all wrong? With my Alzheimer’s I don’t always recall things correctly.

I can, however, watch reruns over and over and not remember seeing them the first time.

She is BETTER OFF. Even if he is a nice guy that changed his mind and there was nothing planned, it is still wrong if it happens the way it seems to go down in front of a camera to make it official. Really she is better off and hopefully she will talk some sense into Jillian before she jumps in front of this train wreck of a show. Doesn’t she see that they are using her because everyone loved her–just like Jason–and look where he has ended up!

Now that it’s all said and done,
I can’t believe you were the one
To build me up and tear me down,
    Like an old abandoned house.
What you said when you left

  420. alltimebachfan Says:

you know i would wish that before Jill does her season, the other Bach-etttes contact her and tell her its not worth it. supposedly they were all close. if ladies like Megan and Steph can somehow convince her that ABC does not have her best interests in mind. maybe some of them can meet up with the guys from seasons past and meet someone like Noelle and Fred. that is truly sweet. there have been some pretty decent guys and gals we’ve come across that deserve to find their lifelong mates. i’d wouldn’t mind seeing the Bach/Bach-ette go on, but not with any spinoffs from any recent shows.

  421. venus Says:

408 Small_Peanut… I’m inclined to think that when Molly asked Jason about choosing the wrong girl…it was a question either suggested to her by the producers,(because they knew the outcome) or one she simply thought up herself.

However that question came to be..either producers or Molly herself doesn’t really matter.

What matters is editing department left it in…again, I believe as a foreshadowing.

Or is it again another coincidence that was handed to TPTB? IE..Mel talking about being the one dumped and she ends up begin dumped again…and Mol asking “what if you choose the wrong girl?” And it turns, afterall, that Jason does make the wrong choice at the FRC.

Too, too many “coincidences” adding up here.

The editing tells the story and it’s telling me they knew all along how this was going to play out.

Yes, it is scripted. It’s right there in front of our eyes.

  422. my2bits Says:

Hey Pinkgirl, where are you and your apology you promised!!!!

I hope the money was worth his integrity. Apparently it was. I hope they both rot in he$$. Thanks for all of the updates. Reality Steve, I really believe you are right.

  426. venus Says:

410 beach bum..Had forgotten Mel made that comment about loving surprises and not getting any. Another foreshadowing? Well, she sure did get a surprise, didn’t she?

Interesting how they left that comment in.

I’m telling you, they left us clues all over the place. As we look back we are going to see “it” was there all the time.

“It” being the ultimate outcome and HOW it all plays out.

Remember, RS get emphasising it’s not the WHO, but the HOW.

    HOW it all was scripted.

  427. sally Says:

Thanks for the heads up Steve.

I am hoping you post the email as well. But first ask if Melissa is ok with it. If she isn’t for any reason, then don’t post it. As we all know, she has been through enough. If she gives her ok to post the email, then I say go for it.

And don’t ask Jason if he wants the email posted – he hasn’t earned that respect.

I have been reading your stuff for a long time and really enjoy your blog. Just never felt the need to comment before, but thanks for the info. It makes a lot of sense. You should check out the “misfits” board. They are really slagging you over there which is weird considering their guru has never been right, ever. Oh well, they still think mysonisthebest is Jason’s mother. I don’t know what kind of internet koolaid they’re all drinking. I never liked Jason from last season so am not surprised. What surprises me is the number of women on these message boards (not this one) that are blaming Melissa or Molly. Weird. Thanks Steve.

  430. tvjunkie Says:

    There, I feel better.

  431. Kam Says:

LOL #430 No doubt. Another thing about all of this is how it makes you reexamine the other seasons and know how much scripting and deception on ABC’s part was going on. The few seasons that ended with success or partial success were flukes and each season when the franchise saw there was no real love connection in progress they created one to fit the formulaic “shocking” or “most romantic” ending.

  432. venus Says:

    428 I Love Reality Steve:

  434. Mikesgirl Says:

Too bad he didn’t pick DeAnna – I would have been just as surprised, but laughed out loud.

“IF” Jason was so tortured by his inability to choose someone in such a short period of time, he really should have not given the FR out and asked to date both girls in the real world. (ala Charlie)

I hope Martin Hilton looses his job as head honcho Bachelor editor, and the new Bachelor show runner………. Instead, ABC will probably increase his salary and renew the show for more seasons. Bah!

  435. 1234567 Says:

I have disliked Molly ever since the tent date when she came in in Jason’s clothes and made sure to tell everyone several times “I have to get some sleep, I didn’t get ANY SLEEP last night. NO SLEEP, NONE”. Jason said in one interview that nothing happened in the tent, but I don’t believe it.

  436. bellablue Says:

TVJunkie — You’re certainly entitled to your opinion of other people’s sexual behavior. I’m happy for you that passing such harsh judgment on someone you don’t know made you “feel better”.

However, you can’t blame the woman and not blame the man. At least she wasn’t doing the same thing with 25 other people a few hours later. She was with one man only. He was with, how many?

  437. Yankee Says:

So I take it some people never showed up today after this news? lol

  438. Georgie Says:

God, you people are missing the whole point, you are so happy that RS has been proven right that you don’t even care that peoples’ lives have been changed forever by this. If Steve is right about everything, as you all so obviously hope, Mel has been hurt tremendously. Get over yourselves AND Steve, for Christ sake, and quit gloating, it is a very unattractive trait.

  439. nymommy Says:

Guess we’ll have to see how everything plays out next week, but I still don’t believe Jason planned to hurt Melissa. The producers probably told him a lot of things and if we could see that email, we might understand more about what they told him, but I don’t believe he would go along with the scenario you lay out, Steve. Also, he may have had some contact with Molly, but it doesn’t sound like she knew what was coming, although I guess it’s possible that he asked her to play along. That is more believable to me than that the whole thing was a set-up from the beginning.

  440. I Love Reality Steve Says:

As much as you like to say “so there” to your naysayers, I would have expected you to man-up and own your error regarding Deanna’s appearance. Over and over, including your telephone interview with Megan, you have said that you didn’t think Deanna was in New Zealand for any purpose other than a paycheck. Yet in this blog, you just about glossed right over the fact that you were dead wrong. Furthermore, there are many of us that would like to have read a blow-by-blow description of the groveling (!) How can you just skip over something as big as that? Give us more, Steve, even if you have to make it a little more plain and clear that you were wrong.

  451. TXChic2 Says:

Good sleuthing, RS! You saved me the cost of a TV because had I watched all this unfold I would have thrown something at mine.

I believe it all because of just how ABC has seemed to react and respond.

We all believed Jason was a nice, likeable guy. After this, he’ll go down in Bachelor history as the most despised ever (at least Brad Womack told the truth!!). Poor Ty. At least his mom seems normal in all of this not wanting to comment or be a part of it. Way to be a great role model for your kid Jason…and on national TV no less so its immortalized forever.

Even if only part of this went down exactly as speculated, this was a cruel thing to do to Melissa – especially ON CAMERA. I won’t say “Poor Melissa” because she will come out of this just fine, and long as her parents refrain from any “I told you so” comments.

Deanna should have picked Jason. This show turns nearly every bachelor into a conceited jerk, and now that she also has gone Hollywood, they would be perfect for one another.

Other than Trista and Ryan, this show’s track record at lasting love is terrible. Rest assured Jason and Molly will flame out quickly. Being picked 2nd and being sneaky behind someone else’s back is not the way to start out a healthy relationship, along with all the other baggage that comes from being on this show.

  452. Yankee Says:

Of course Dee got paid. I also think show was having a little fun. Dee dumps F1 and comes back for F2 just like Jason will do on ATR.

  453. qusan Says:

DeAnna is still under contract with ABC. She’d just broken up with Jesse. Jesse was crying to any outlet who would pick him up and posted his version on you tube. He cried to CH and CH threw her under the bus. They called and I think she went along with it willingly and without a check or an arm twist. Jesse and CH casted her as a fame seeking witch, and if she went on the show and said she made a mistake and should have chosen Jason, I guess she showed them what a witch she could be. I would have too.

Yet, who is the only person updating his site on a daily basis with links to all of his press, interviews and appearances? Who is dating a chick who lives in Hollywood and who has already dated another d-list reality show celeb?

  454. Oy Vey Says:

Seems to me Pink isn’t the only one who owes Steve and everyone else a ‘mea culpa’.

There have been many non-believers jump on the bandwagon here in this very thread that for days back were still on the ‘It’s Jillian’ kick for one example. Now I read these e.e.j.i.t.s congratulating Steve on being right this whole time. Yah – u know who u are. Ha ha ha!

Maybe you should have relished the Reality Steve kool-aid and jumped off the cliff after all.

Steve shouldn’t release the emails just to shun the non-believers. I’ll shun them for him. LOL Those of us who believed Steve all along believed him up front and we certainly don’t need him to post those emails to further justify his story.

The only thing in which I disagree with Steve is that I will NOT be watching future seasons of The Bachelor/ette. I’m done with that franchise. But I will mos-def be back to read more from Steve.

Excuse me now, I have Sharon on the line. She’s phoning in her apology.

    °Ü°

  455. The Original TCB Says:

Even for 10 grand, if that’s really what she was paid, she looks pathetic in the end. Asking Jason back. Do y’all remember how lovey dovey, can’t keep your hands off him, she was with Jesse at the ATFR?? Like I said, it makes her look so wishy washy and pathetic. And if it’s all made up, she took money to make herself look bad.

  456. spunk Says:

    444 Carol

Not only did De get paid 10,000 buckaroos, she got some free publicity, good for her new show, she got to travel to NZ. If you honestly think she really wanted Jason back, then you are missing the whole point of how this season is SCRIPTED! Do you really think they would have to pay Dee if she really wanted Jason back?

  457. smp Says:

I am not nor have ever been a Jason fan (just started watching this season) but I do think this whole thing of women giving him so much attention went to both heads and he was manipulated by TPTB.

Reading the comments on his MySpace shows a lot of people still love this guy. I think the backlash will be intense to both Molly & Jason. If Mel wasn’t so well liked possibly it wouldn’t be so bad.

    Jason made his bed.

  458. TXChic2 Says:

Chris Harrison’s defense that ABC doesn’t script these shows is true, but his argument is a matter of semantics. They do MANIPULATE and a lot of it at that. The editing, who goes on what date, not to mention all of the alcohol!

I’d love to see what one of these contracts they have to sign says. There is no way there is not a lot of “influence” in these contracts.

RS – post the emails from Melissa and Jason! Jason and ABC need to be exposed for the frauds they are – all for the sake of ratings for a TV show?

Steve, thanks for having the cahones to let us know everything early. My vote is YES on releasing the emails, for what it’s worth.

Jillian as the next bachelorette… love her. Gentlemen, prepare your weiners!

  460. TXChic2 Says:

spunk – I thought exactly the same thing. How can you believe anything coming from a publicity hound who was paid to be there?

  461. smp Says:

There are still a couple posters on FORT (one w.a strong opinion) that Steve is wrong. That blows my mind.

  462. spunk Says:

Over at Fort there is a poster who has some inside conections to the show, he/she is an attorney and was also saying what RS said I think even before RS. Apparentlly he got a hold of this years contract and there is a clause that says that you are to brake up with the contestants or fiance in front of the Cameras. I am sure they had to slip that clause in there this year because they knew what the outcaome would be and they did not want Jason back peddaling and not dump Melissa.

  463. smp Says:

spunk – yes, I read that too. He is one of my favorite posters over there. I think he e-mailed the contract to Steve. Please show us the contract, Steve!

  464. Yankee Says:

462-I lurk there and I know who you mean. They have backed RS for a while and seem to have multiple sources and stated they are in more than one state as well. I want connections like that. lol That person is legit too and they seem to be nice as well.

  465. I Love Reality Steve Says:

smp those people are eejits who actually believe this is a “real love story.” they drink too much & need to get off the couch and take off their flowered pajamas

  466. TXChic2 Says:

Another vote here to post the contract! Keeping their mouths shut is one of the contract provisions otherwise they forego however much money (if not liable for damages), so they can put anything in there they want and no one would ever know…

Wonder if ABC will make an extra payment to Melissa for the humiliation factor, and make her a Bachelorette too.

  467. venus Says:

Where is Jason’s moral compass of what is right and what is wrong? Regardless of what the producers told him he HAD to do he, if Jason had any integrity and really “fell in love with two women,” as he has claimed and WILL continue to claim, he would NOT have gone along with the idea of breaking off his engagment with one of the women he professed to love, on national TV.

Face up to the manipulation that has been played upon you.

    Jason’s moral compass is bankrupted!

Why are some of you are still in denial?

  468. Yankee Says:

Jason should have said no and stood his ground like Brad did. Jason knows better and behaved poorly.

  469. lemon Says:

I think Steve glossed over the DeAnna thing because it’s so bloody obvious she was following a script, it’s not even worth discussing.

I am 100% sure she asked for Jason back knowing he would say no, and she thought it would help redeem her public image. She goes from being the bitch who broke Jason’s heart to being sad and rejected. Boohoo. Her fans will eat it up and feel sorry for her. She didn’t mean a word of it.

And yes, the lawyer over on Fort said his sources say DeAnna was paid $10,000 PLUS expenses and the trip to NZ. She did whatever they told her to do.

  470. debbi Says:

Wish you would post the emails. It would leave anyone that still has any doubt with no defense whatsoever about the order of things.
I really, really want to read those emails to reinforce knowing Jason is pondscum.
And to think, I felt sorry for him after DeAnna dumped him.
Not too thrilled about Jillian being the next one to be manipulated. Would have preferred a stranger.
Thanks for all you have brought to light these last weeks.

  471. The Original TCB Says:

Deanna is a joke. If you’re going to be paid, get a REAL acting job.

    well, I guess she couldn’t. :)

  472. TXChic2 Says:

Sounds like ABC bought Jason’s moral compass, then backed it up contractually to make sure he delivered on their investment.

What will be even more telling is how he responds to interview questions in the days after the show is over.

  473. lemon Says:

Posting the emails will prove NOTHING to the doubters. They already think they’re bogus and they’ll simply say, “Anyone could have written that, it proves nothing.” And they’d be right.

I think the emails are real, but I have to admit anyone could have written them and passed them on as a hoax, so seeing the actual text won’t silence the doubters. Unfortunately.

  474. virginiabeachcheckingin Says:

#473 -But even if you could silence some of the doubters, they’ll come up with other stuff to gripe about – so probably best to just ignore them totally and if they’re not getting any reactions from anyone, will probably just disappear. or we can hope.

  475. pprdc Says:

The tent, really, the tent. What an appropriate gift for the happy couple. This whole thing is so smelly, I would have sworn this was showing on a cable station dedicated to full-time exploitation. (My apologies to cable stations, in general.)

I’m glad Steve aired the dirty laundry
