There is NO way that ABC could have compelled Jason to “break-up” with Melissa on tv. A contract may say that certain things have to be public, maybe even something along the lines of saying that in case of a break-up, ABC has the first bite at breaking the news or an interview. But NO court would uphold a contract that had as a clause that you must go on a network and breakup publicly. I know there are a lot of people defending Jason. But if you really pay attention to everything that has happened, even without having read any blogs or leaks, you have to acknowlrdge that certain things just don’t fit.

1. Assuming Jason did not feel the chemistry was right between him and Melissa, why did he immediately have to run adn tell ABC? Chris Harrison said on his blog that Jason called him and said things weren’t the same and that he was thinking about Molly. In the contract. it may state that you have to give an update of your relationship, but come on. We have all been in relationships. Is there any way you would tell a 3rd party more about your relationship, even if by contract you were suppose to give them updates, than letting your partner know? Why in God’s name would ABC be the first place you run to with your relationship issues? If this is a real relationship you are trying to work out, you don’t add fuel to the fire by informing ABC that they may have something explosive on their hands. You would probably give it more than a few weeks. Even if Jsaon knew it wasn’t going to work out with Melissa, if he still really cared about her as he claims, he wouldn’t have done this.

2. Jason says that he HAD to break up with Melissa on tv. I know contract law and I know this is crap. Then he says Melissa said she knew they weren’t together before the taping. So which is it Jason? You either broke up with her before the taping, and then just pretended to at the taping, which means you guys were ACTING, OR you went on national television and broke up with your fiance without warning her, which I’ve already said, ABC couldn’t have complelled you to do. Either way, you are a tool. And even if ABC lead you to believe that you had to, if you had cared even the tiniest bit about sparing Melissa’s feelings, then you could have talked to an independent lawyer about your contract.

There are other things, but I have to get to work. I would like to point out that I have no idea if Jason, Melissa, and/or Molly were in on any or all parts of this fiasco. My observations are assuming Melissa and Molly were not, since according to ABC this is “real life.” These are observations made assuming ABC is being truthful. Now if they are paid actors that’s a whole ‘nother thing. Given the evidence provided solely by ABC it’s really hard to believe Jason had absolutely pure intentions. I don’t think I’m a judgmental person. Hey, choose Molly over Melissa. I don’t care why. Don’t give your relationship a chance with Melissa, that’s totally your call. I’m just pointing out inconsistencies in what has come out of Jason’s own mouth.

I stopped watching TB after Trista and Ryan’s season. I allowed myself to get sucked back in by ABC. Jason seemed like the perfect bachelor. He was sensitive, a divorced father helping to raise a toddler, and he was rejected by DeAnna. I couldn’t wait to see how this season played out.

To say I am disappointed is an understatement.

-Chris Harrison is an arrogant a**. His sarcastic blogs are a joke. I can’t wait to read about his new, young hip replacement this summer.

-Jason Mesnick is a weak, attention seeking man wh*re. I think he got what he deserved, Molly. I give their ‘relationship’ another 3 days tops.

I know everyone involved signed a contract and knew that this was reality tv, BUT this time tptb went too far. There is no coming back from this fiasco.

I hope both of those girls are getting paid a nice sum, because when this all turns to crap at least they’ll have some change to hold onto. Whatever really happened, it’s crystal clear that this guy has no idea what he wants. You don’t have to go on national TV to meet a guy like that, ladies.
