YEAH, COMMENTS!I'm sorry, I was over Megan and I'm over Adam too. I guess I just don't get why everyone is so enthralled by him. That performance was self indulgence at its best and he managed to get his "Axl" shreek into every song he has sung thus far.I liked Matt I thought he was very good and the judges were too harsh.Allison missed her possibly only opportunity to sing Pink "Sober" but I do agree, she needs a stylist pronto.Kris was very impressive to me, I hadn't really thought much of him till now.Danny was good, as always....Did I mention how glad I am to be able to comment again?

COMMENTS! One thought about Megan, my boyfriend thought she looked an awful lot like a "suicide girl". Reminded me alot of Sugar from Survivor. I loved her, and I really liked Megan alot. I had really hoped that she would have sung an Amy Winehouse song. She would have been great at "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?", My favorite song from one of my favorite "chick flicks"....Bridget Jones Diary. Steve, you have really done a great job with your new and improved site. Although, I kinda miss the old format.

I have finally registered, I have been a lurker for sometime now. The only reason she managed to stay on this long is because she's attractive. I think her biggest problem is she can't take direction at all. I think most people were ready for Anoop to be gone and then he listened to the judge's, came back, and had a great performance. And I would totally disagree with Sally that Megan "won that fight". At the end of the episode Simon still has a job and Megan has to go back to obscurity! Seriously, though, what was with her at the elimination episode? Was she on crack? And what is with contestents talking back to the judges? Kissing a little ass can get you a long way (and that's just true in life).

I was relieved to see Megan go. And I can't believe I was actually bored during an Usher upbeat song. Sure his vocals were spot on, but if he's going to sing an Usher-style type of song he needs to get some moves.Megan - what? Just what? This was the week she could have shined. She should have shined. Probably the only week where she could perform a song perfect to her voice - Duffy, Adele, Winehouse. And instead she goes with Bob Marley. However my first standing O of the night - to the guy who yelled "broken record" to Kara. You've probably since read that the guy was actually Megan's brother.Danny - I agree with you. He does better on the ballads. However, I'm not a ballad kind of girl. But he obviously connected to the song and his vocal was fabulous.Allison - with her vocal range she picks No Doubt. And dresses like Cyndi Lauper in her prime. Allison's voice is so much stronger than Gwen Stefani. I was glad to see her in the bottom 3. She needs to pick better songs.Scott - yeah for him! I've been wanting to hear a good performance out of him. Should he win Idol - no. But at least we heard a good performance out of him. For him more than anyone else, I would love a week where the contestants have a chance to sing something they wrote. I suspect the stuff he writes is so much more suited for his voice than what he is forced to play on Idol.Matt - I don't know the song. My radio stations replay songs so often that I periodically put myself "on strike" from them. And I'm striking right now. However, I liked Matt's vocal. I liked the vocal. I liked the stage setup - how he was set "in the most pit". Still not all that memorable for me though.Lil - snore... She looked like in her 30's with that performance. She is going down rapidly in my eyes. And I'm with you - anyone singing Celine Dion just isn't going to be as good as the original.Adam - I think they put him behind Lil to wake up the audience. And wake me up he did. You love your Gokey - I love my Adam. And I love this song besides. Woo hoo - only dance of the night from me.Kris - first time I remembered him. He's been in the same boat as Matt for me the past few weeks - I didn't remember him. He was very good with the song. Perfect song choice for him. Great vocal. Results - thank the Gods Megan is gone. That was the week she should have shined. She could have done pretty much anything she wanted, and instead went with Bob Marley. Sounded awful, came across on screen as full of herself. I did give her a standing O for her comments to the judges however. Simon's slap back about not considering her for the save was unnecessary. They weren't going to save her - he was just using it to save face. I think Megan won that fight, making Simon look whiney.

Anoop – I was bored.
