Thing is, he's one of the most accomplished and successful bull riders in rodeo history, and when you figure that little guy gets on animals large enough to derail a freight train, bred and trained to kill him in 8 seconds, it's pretty remarkable he can walk, much less dance. It takes superhuman coordination to stay on the bull using one hand, and muscles of steel to last the 8 seconds. This is a guy who can relate to bovines far more readily than humans, and I think that terrified look you see on his face is BECAUSE he's relying on millions to judge his performance; when he's on the bull there are two judges independently scoring each, coming up with a score that depends as much on the ferocity of the bull as his own success in staying on. As someone who follows bull riding and rodeo, I'm not surprised he has the ability to lift his partner with ease. If he loses (as it seems he will) it won't be for lack of effort or commitment. He'll give it his all, as he has his whole life. For him what he's doing on that stage probably takes far more courage than drawing the rankest bull in the pen.

Steve, you’ve commented a couple of times about Ty Murray. Translation: 'The moment I found out we were having a boy I had visions of myself playing baseball with him on Saturday afternoons. Instead I got a son who preferred playing in his mother's makeup case. 'THANK GOD they didn't save Scott. I really did like him but let's face it, he really does not have a future in show business. I think Kara and Paula wanted to save him but I think that decision was more about emotion because if they were honest they'd admit there is no way he can win.Oh, and in my opinion the judges would have considered saving Lil. She's had a few bad weeks but she has an amazing voice and things could suddenly click for her and change the whole game. I don't think they would really consider saving Anoop. He's had a few good performances but even his good performances are boring, in my opinion. I feel like Lil has the potential to really stand out and I just don't see Anoop doing that.

I too loved the part when Adam’s dad said he wasn’t so much into sports. I understand Cheryl's comments about Gilles (naked guy) and their chemistry. Sure Emmett was great, but no one has come close to the level of dancing Cheryl and Gilles are doing this season. The video practices are garbage. I don't believe for a second that Cheryl has to boss him around. Not when he is so good on show night.American Idol:
I'm surprised Kara wanted to use the save on Scott. Especially considering her guy (Matt) has been in danger before. If the save was used on Scott, it would not be available to save Matt. I wonder who Simon was talking about when he mentioned they would consider using the save on 1 of the bottom 3 this week. Lil has been going downhill for the last few weeks. I don't think the judges would save her, except if she left there would be only 1 female singer left on the show. And I don't think Anoop is interesting enough to warrant the save (but then that is just me). So who knows. As for Quentin - he was a judge a few seasons ago. When they had visiting judges every week. Apparently he's an American Idol fanatic, and I think he's a big music fan, so this week should be fun. I'm hoping he will help some of the Idols with their performance style. All have good voices, but some are downright boring to watch.

DWTS:<br

Lovin' this whole Coach, Brendan ordeal...hopin' Brendan somehow comes out on top...there is just something about Coach that repels me..hmmm let's see he's an a$$ maybe. What a condesending heap he is...ewww..he is just repulsive. But as you say those are the ones that make it good TV, if there were a bunch of boring people I doubt we would've been watching Survivor for 19 seasons. Love the blog...I literally do Laugh Out Loud sometimes...good thing my door to my office is closed! Lookin' forward to next week!

Love your blog Steve…er umm…spidey!
