According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC will air “The Bachelor: Jason and Molly’s Wedding” on March 8. It will feature not just the ceremony but Molly’s dress fitting, bachelor and bachelorette parties and general wedding planning.

They will also have at least one wild “bad girl” who will try to tempt Jake into giving up his squeaky clean persona.

And they will also have innumerable “cliff hangers” keeping people in suspense for later episodes, that turn out in reality to be not so suspenseful or interesting at all.

I don’t think we’re surprised that this is scripted, but can’t Mike Fleiss at least hire some decent writers? The people on the show use the same canned lines over and over, season after season.

I’m sure they’re already rehearsing people to say:

“I can’t believe how real this all is….”

“It’s unbelievable how I could fall so hard for Jake so fast…”

(Jake) “I’m so torn between these women. They are all so great, and these emotions I’m feeling are so instense. I feel so bad I’ll have to break someone’s heart….”

“This is the most dramatic rose ceremony ever!”

Ok Steve so I’m curious, are the challenges in Survivor scripted or rigged? I find it awfully ironic that Russell and Shambo talk about voting out Laura and they comment that the only thing stopping them would be her winning immunity. Well shock of all shocks Russell is within inches of knocking Laura out of the immunity challenge when his hook comes off the bag at the last second and she pulls hers in ahead of him to move on. Then she’s way behind in the second challenge and all of a sudden comes out of nowhere to win the challenge and individual immunity. The entire episode just seemed entirely too fishy to me so I was wondering if you had any insight.

Thanks for the insight about the contestant walking out on Jake’s season! Nice to know someone was not willing to compromise their beliefs on honesty. Steve, could you comment further on Jillian and Ed’s post show behavior, especially concerning their TMI comments and over indulgence in alcohol when at public events (i.e., Jillian’s recent balancing of her cocktail on her head at a charity event to check her “posture”)? How does this type of behavior impact their jobs, and ability to continue to make money post Bachelorette through appearances, endorsements, etc.? Thanks!

Funny how you print this article about how you know someone who refused to be scripted and lie on camera and subsequently walked off the show and suddenly there are folks on every message board believing you wholeheartedly. Seems to me many of the very same folks on the very same boards found it IMPOSSIBLE to believe you when you made similar accusations in past seasons. I knew you were right about B13 and B’ette5, and I watched in disbelief as so many people angrily, stubbornly and foolishly argued with every word you said. Wonder what it is about your latest scoop that has people so willing to accept it. You present fact-based scoop about someone they watch on tv every week and they go into complete denial but you present fact-based scoop about someone they never saw on tv and never will and voila, you’re right on the money. In the words of Husker Du—-Makes No Sense At All. Thanks for telling the truth as you know it regardless of the response from your readers.

That story about the girl who walked away from the Bachelor show is interesting. Thanks for mentioning that. I still haven’t decided whether to watch the Jake Bachelor series…. am leaning towards not. But will keep checking here!

thanks for the update on Jake’s season, I’m not at all surprised to hear about the girl who left. I think they fed Jake lines to say during his first one-on-one date with Jillian. (He was saying wild stuff, like he was ready to put a ring on her finger, etc.) Everything he said sounded loosely scripted.
