The Bachelor 14 - Jake

More “Bachelor” Stuff…

Ok, lets address some things that happened over the last couple of days. Just a few things about the Rozlyn scandal in this post, then I will discuss the new “Bachelor Pad” show set to air in the summer, the number of people all of you readers think Elizabeth looks like (you’ll be shocked at the number of responses it’s reached), the news and photos of the producer in question being leaked yesterday, and where the possible interview with Rozlyn stands.

You know what my stance is on what happened to Rozlyn, and judging by the reaction, I’d say it’s probably going 60/40 against her and believing the ABC/Chris Harrison/Jake camp. Which is fine. There are two sides to every story. Rozlyn has denied it to “ET” and “The Insider”, and Chris and Jake are calling her a liar to everyone they talk to. He said, she said. I still stand by the information I received 100% as I trust ABC and their stance about as much as I can throw them. However, one thing worth talking about in this whole scandal, is now ABC is releasing a 2 min video clip (which wasn’t shown Monday), that was obviously filmed after Rozlyn was asked to leave the house, but before the rose ceremony, since Ashley E. and Christina are in the clip. I can’t find a way to embed it in the column, but here is the link to it.

Honestly, I don’t think that video shows much of anything. Just a bunch of speculation. So a couple of the girls saw her head on his shoulder, and MAYBE and arm on his leg? Oh boy. That totally means they were sleeping together. I just found it funny that Chris Harrison and Jake both have said in the past week that some of the girls witnessed an “inappropriate relationship” going on between Rozlyn and the producer. Really? Then why would any of them be shocked when she was booted from the house? That 2 min clip does not look spontaneous at all. To me, it was after Rozlyn gets booted, the producers gathering around and saying, “Ok ladies, here’s what we’re gonna do. You all sit here and discuss why you think Rozlyn was kicked off the show. And feel free to throw out any type of speculation that you want. Ready? Go.” And just like so many of you know how they can get people to say things they want, I’m here to tell you that a few of those girls were easily pulled to the side and told what to talk about on camera. Especially Ashley E. How do I know this? Because she’s been probably the most outspoken about it so far.

What a surprise to see that see she is front and center on EXTRA TV talking about what she THINKS happened. Not what she saw, not what she witnessed with her own two eyes, but just what she THINKS happened. Very credible source. Ashley did her exit interview yesterday and of course she was asked about the scandal. You can read it all right here, but let me highlight my favorite answers she gave.

When asked if she thought there was a romantic, physical relationship between Rozlyn and the producer, Ashley replied:

“I do. But I wasn’t there to witness the extent of it. I just heard what the other girls had said.”

Oh, well then Rozlyn must be guilty. Anytime an eyewitness admits to “not being there to witness the extent of it”, then we must take anything she says as truth. So if she didn’t see anything, why is she convinced there was a romantic, physical relationship between the two?

“There was a conversation between a group of us, and we were all discussing the flirtation and the incident that occurred. Elizabeth stated that she definitely saw some snuggling up on the couch. Vienna continued to agree with that and was speaking about how Rozlyn was laying on this staffer and kind of had her hand around his thigh area. Gia also had concurred about this. I was just simply sitting on the couch while this conversation was occurring.”

Translation: Hearsay. Hearsay is always admissible in court as strong evidence. Let’s hope Ashley is never called up to the stand in a murder trial some day. “Well, I didn’t actually see the guy get shot. I just heard some people talking about it so I figured your client must be guilty.”

“I did see some of the flirting, but the other girls were really upset about what they had seen and definitely felt the need to verbalize it. I don’t know if one of them had went and told the producers or what, but there was definitely a lot of chit-chat around the house regarding this.”

Hey, I mentioned this last Wednesday when I first told you the story. I told you this guy admitted to having fallen for Rozlyn, was giving her probably more attention than the other girls, and that there was chatter in the house about it, especially after Rozlyn got the rose on the first group date Monday night. This is nothing new. But because two people were flirting, does not mean there was a physical, sexual relationship going on. By the way, does anyone realize how many back rubs, long night talks into the wee hours of the morning, and close friendships a lot of the bachelorettes develop from their time on the show? It happens every season. Hell, the producers job is to be nice to you and become your friend so you’ll tell them stuff on camera. So because two people were flirting, or she was laying her head on his shoulder, doesn’t mean they were having a physical relationship last time I checked.

“Despite that, I don’t think that anyone actually thought that a sexual affair was occurring. We didn’t really know the details of it or the extent of it. Even though there were some red flags that went up, the girls were still quite surprised when Chris Harrison spoke to us and informed us what had happened.”

Ummmm, didn’t she just admit here that none of the girls thought there was anything sexual going on in the house? From the beginning, I’ve told you ABC is hiding behind the language they’re using, and it’s still happening. If I was on that conference call, I would ask Ashley, “Ashley, after Rozlyn was booted from the house, did Chris or the producers come to all the girls at any point and say, ‘Yeah, she’s gone because her and the producer were having sex. We caught them in the editing room going at it like rabbits.’ Or did they just tip toe around everything, and use vague phrases like “inappropriate relationship”? That’s what it comes down to. All Ashley is saying is “I heard the girls talking about this”, “someone said they saw them flirting”, “I think it was more than friendship”, blah blah blah…for the love of God, WHERE IS THE HARD EVIDENCE? Video footage, audio footage, or at least someone saying on record, “Yes, I saw these two having sex. Yes, I saw these two kissing. Yes, I saw these two dry humping.” Whatever. Someone give me something more than hearsay. It’s unbelievable that such a big scandal could have no proof to back it up.

And this is my favorite part of her interview:

Prior to her own elimination, Monday night’s episode had also shown Elmore stating that Papa was making all of these “wonderful comments” about The Bachelor star Jake Pavelka “yet three hours prior was getting it on with somebody else.”

When asked about the comment on Thursday, Elmore said she was “inventing” the timeframe she referenced during the episode.

“I don’t even know where that timing came from,” she told Reality TV World with a laugh. “I think I was just assuming that she had gotten off the date and something had occurred with the staffer when she got home. That was maybe me being a little harsh, feeling a little shock.”

Awesome. Now she’s just admitted to making stuff up she said on camera. They’ve got some great writers on this show, I tell ya’. Remember how I mentioned earlier that hearsay is always great evidence to use in court? Well you know what’s better than hearsay? Assumption. “Yeah your honor, I just assumed that was the guy who murdered him.” Good interview, Ashley. Thank you for helping me state my case even more. Moving on.

On to a much lighter, happier subject. In Tuesday’s column, I kind of rhetorically asked, “What celebrity does Elizabeth look like?” It was more of me thinking out loud. I didn’t actually think that both my email, Facebook inbox, and the comments section of my site, would get bombarded with over 200 emails the last three days with people telling me who they think she looks like. It was unreal. I didn’t think that many people cared who she looked like. I am dead serious when I tell you this. I saved every single email that was sent over the past three days and wrote down every name that people thought Elizabeth looked like. Ready for this list? Unreal. Here you go:

Courtney Cox – by far the overwhelming favorite.
Megan Fox – 2nd most votes. A distant 2nd though.
Rena Sofer – Original “Melrose Place”, “Heroes”, Season 6 of “24”, and numerous other short lived TV shows.

Now, those were by far the top three. They were mentioned in the most emails. In no particular order, here are the rest of the names I got for who Elizabeth reminded people of. Remember, everyone was looking at the same exact girl as I was. Cox, Fox, and Sofer? Yeah, I can see that. But wait, there’s more. Plenty. I swear I’m not making this up.

Maria Shriver
Cameron Diaz
Robin Tunney – “The Mentalist”
Krista Allen – “Days of our Lives”
Sigourney Weaver
A combo of Janice Dickinson and Courtney Cox
Amanda Peet
Carla Gugino – “Spin City”, “Entourage”
A combination of Parvati from “Survivor” and Selena Gomez
Lindsay Lohan (with dark hair)
Kate Jackson
A young Barbara Hershey
Jennifer Connelly
Malin Akerman – “27 Dresses”
Crystal Chappell – “Guiding Light”
Lucy Lawless – “Xena: Warrior Princess”
Eva Green – “Casino Royale”
Hilary Rhoda – Estee Lauder model
Kelly Kapowski – Awesome. Probably my favorite one.
Gina Gershon
Jorja Fox – “CSI: Las Vegas”
Sprague Grayden – President Taylor’s daughter last season on “24”

So apparently Elizabeth is the most attractive woman walking the planet since, according to the people watching this show, she looks like 25 different celebrities. That was amazing to me. And hilarious. So I guess the million dollar question now is, “Well Steve, which one does Elizabeth remind you of?” Honestly? I’m even more confused now than before. I guess I can see parts of her in every one of those 25 women. Serious.

Well here’s a novel idea. After producing 18 seasons of this show, they’ve finally come up with an idea that I’ve thought would happen long before this. “Bachelor Pad” is set to air this summer on ABC. Fleiss is behind it, Chris Harrison is hosting, and essentially they’re just gonna throw 20 former contestants from previous season into a house, “Big Brother” style, and have competitions and give out money and watch people hook up. I’ve been saying for years this had to happen since a lot of former contestants have hooked up with multiple people, it was only natural to get some of them thrown in a house and see what drama unfolds. The cast hasn’t been finalized yet, but you can guarantee Jesse Csinsak will be on it. If he is, don’t you HAVE to cast DeAnna? Along with Holly and her boyfriend Michael Stagliano from Jillian’s season? Greatness. I’m actually looking forward to this much more than the actual show. “The Bachelorette” starts taping in March (they’ve already flown people out to LA for final casting even though they haven’t chosen the “Bachelorette” yet – how convenient), probably to air May-July, then ABC said “Bachelor Pad” would air after that. So I’m guessing they’ll film it from May-July.

They said they ordered seven episodes and people will be evicted every week before it’s down to one, I guess. There haven’t really been many details about what the show will actually be about other than there “will be competitions that resemble some of the drama from previous seasons.” I’m guessing it’ll be some money prizes and “Beats by Dre” headphones. And maybe a special appearance by TJ Lavin. Hey, I’m all for it. It’s basically RW/RR Challenge but with the former “Bachelor/ette” contestants. And without the exotic location. And no Kenny and Evan and Johnny Bananas to keep me entertained. I’m telling you, if they do this right, and don’t screw around with the editing, this’ll be the best creation they’ve come up with. The only person who has publicly said no to it that I’ve read is Andy Baldwin. I’m sure they’re gonna start asking people soon if they’re interested, and I’m guessing a lot of former contestants are. You know they’ll ask Rozlyn to. That’s a given. I think whether or not we see her on this show will tell a lot about her. I’d be willing to bet she wouldn’t go on that show in a million years. I spoke to Wes and he doesn’t think they’d ever ask him. I wouldn’t be so sure. Regardless, he better not do it if he knows what’s good for him. After what he did with me, I’m guessing they won’t ask him. And if Jeremy had any thoughts about wanting to do that show, I probably ruined any of those chances. Something tells me he wants no part of it. Just a hunch.

It was only a matter of time before the name and photos of the producer involved in the scandal were released. Ryan Callahan is the guys name. If you want to see pictures of him, find it on another site. No need to trample on the guys grave by putting them here. Here’s a guy we’re finding out that his wife divorced him in May, and now he’s out of a job due to a sex “scandal”. Rough year. Think it’ll be easy for him to find work in the industry now with THAT on his resume? Didn’t think so. Especially since it isn’t true. I mean, if there’s one guy I’d like for to come forward and speak with, it’s him. So Ryan, I’ll have you on any time if you want to talk about what really happened. Your story needs to get out there and I’m the only outlet you have that won’t edit up your answers or limit you to a few minutes of soundbites on some tabloid show. That’s the great part of dealing with me. I crack open the mic, ask you questions, and you tell me exactly what your side of the story is.

As for the Rozlyn interview, still where we were three days ago. No new news to report at all. I don’t know what’s going on. I’m almost positive she knows I want to talk to her, but I haven’t been able to gauge what the interest is on her end. And she hasn’t added me on Facebook yet either. So if any of you are her friends and want to hound her to do an interview, hey, I won’t stop you. I think the Rozlyn “scandal” will be relevant all season long since they made such a big deal out of it. I love the “it was embarrassing for us, it was something we weren’t expecting” nonsense that Chris is running. Really? So embarrassing that you spent two weeks promoting it, then running to the tabloid shows to state your case? Yeah, really sounds like you guys were embarrassed by it. If these people would just admit they’ll do whatever they can for ratings, it’s a TV show, we love the drama and the Rozlyn story did wonders to get people to tune in, maybe I’d respect them more. But they never will and that’s why I like trashing them on a weekly basis. It’s fun.

if you ask me, “Bachelor Pad” isn’t RW/RR. it’s a lot closer to VH1’s “I Love Money.” i mean, i guess it’s all the same, but at least VH1’s show is honest about why they are there :)

Steve, did you watch the clip after the two minute one where Tenley tells Jake she is pregnant? What is up with that? Have you heard anything?

For me the whole thing with Rozlyn boils down to the definition of an “inappropriate relationship”…..she is on a dating show so any kind of ‘relationship’ with the opposite sex is inappropriate. Would what is being said she did…hand on thigh, resting head on shoulder blah blah….be inappropriate any other time? Probably not unless in a convent. But she was on a show to find out if she could marry a guy and in the mean time being touchy feely with another guy…yes that is inappropriate. Whether it had anything to do with her son or whatever is only a side issue at this point. JMO

I agree. IF she had her head on his shoulder, then she was trying to manipulate him, and in this circumstance, that would be inappropriate.

Wow, that producer is NOT attractive!

I do think that if Rozlyn was spotted cozying up to this producer in that manner, was inappropriate. We are dealing with semantics here. So there was no sexual relationship! Okay! But obviously something was going on with these two that reached beyond the boundaries of an accepted producer/contestant relationship.

Far be it from me to defend ABC. They are slimeballs who will do anything to get ratings. But I do feel that Rozlyn did engage in questionable conduct. I also get sick and tired of people saying over and over that it’s not wrong for her to get involved with a producer if Jake is kissing all these girls. That’s just utter nonsense! The rules are the rules. The girls are there to compete for Jake and only Jake. So it’s not okay for them to hook up with someone who works for the show. The producer certainly knew that his conduct with Rozlyn was a violation of his terms of employment. He confessed to having feelings for her. I actually don’t think it had progressed to an intimate relationship, but no one knows the true except the two people involved. I don’t think Rozlyn is totally innocent in this.

We are not in a court of law, so applying that standard to anything that the bachelorettes saw or thought they saw or were told they saw, doesn’t mean anything. It’s not like there will be a lawsuit. I think ABC got wind of this situation and then used it for full effect to benefit the show. God knows they need it this time! Jake is so unbelievably boring to watch. This guy is like a robot! So ABC decided to use this, promote it and play it for all it was worth. Now Rozlyn and this guy can move on and have a relationship if they want. Over and done!

@MindyM – ITA. Reality TV has been around for 2 decades. A staffer on the very first Real World lost his job for having a fling with one of the castmates. Contact is off limits for most shows and definitely for The Bachelor. It may not have been more than flirting that got out of hand but Rozlyn is a grown woman with, as she keeps bringing up, a 7 year old child. I’m not sure how she suddenly becomes a poor, doe-eyed victim who just figured out that water was wet. She seemed to be pretty sure what she was doing with Jake. How she is confused about what happened with the poor slug who should have known better is beyond me.

When Rozlyn was posing for photos at the shoot, it almost looked like she was not looking exactly at the camera, and was maybe being sexy for the “crew member” or producer, whatever he is.

Also, I think Elizabeth looks like the Deschanel sisters.

    Hi, Steve,

You are absolutely adorable. Love your blog!

Now for a few pithy, bitchy observations:

    1. I support Rozalyn and believe in your interpretation. If the allegations were true, why was Chris H. so vague? Why didn’t he say directly that she was seen sleeping on a couch with the producer? Because it didn’t happen. Based upon the Q & A between Chris and her, it appears that she has no idea on why she is being called out and that she thinks it has something to do with her son back at home. While she is clearly a sexual manipulator, my instinct is that ABC invented this scandal.

It’s sad that people all over the net are calling her “whore” among other horrible expletives. I feel badly for her.

Having said that, I still think Roz was a bit out of line for shaking her breasts at Jake to get his attention in the first place. Really classy, Roz! Especially for a woman with a child watching back at home!

    2. I love your description of Fleiss as “that thing.” He is mostrous. I decided to watch an interview with him on Youtube and have concluded that he is dumb as dirt, uncharismatic, lacking in creativity, untalented, and a degenerate. I believe the only reason he is where he is today thanks to connections acquired from his “hollywood madam” sister, Heidi Fleiss — who appeared on Elimidate. Dumb clod that he is, he probably entertained the notion of making reality dating shows a career choice. What an idiot!

Further examples of his idiocy: Cougar Town! Could that show be any more inane or degenerate? What stupidity! And a complete embarrassment for Courtney Cox.

    3. The Bachelor Pad. I will give this one a pass. This show presupposes that we actually care about any of the contestants. It’s pathetic enough that the Bachelor candidates think they are celebrities and try to extend their 15 minutes of fame for as long as possible, but the truth is, they are irrelevant. They are a modern version of fodder being thrown to lions in a Roman ampitheatre to entertain the masses. They are not that important. I will not tune in to see Jesse fighting with Deanna or whatever stupidity Fleiss cooks up. As a devoted Bachelor follower, I can see how you, Steve, would find this essential viewing. I will tune in to your blog instead….

    4. I love Jake. I get beat up on the ABC Board for daring to express or uphold moral standards. But I must say that this is one fine man. He lost points for me when he threw Wes under a bus during Deanna’s season, but my sense of him this season is that he truly is a gentleman. He doesnt seem to be taken in my feminine wiles, which is a plus for me. I think he is a good, upstanding man. Where others see a boring man, I see honor and intelligence. What a welcomed relief from Jason and JED, whom he easily outclasses. He also clearly comes from a good family and was raised well. He may be going along with the ABC narrative, but given the circumstances, he is upholding integrity. If he goes against ABC too much, they could destroy his career and reputation and he is cognizant of that fact and keeping himself in check.

A lot of the antipathy towards Jake is due to the immoral nature of our society, explaining in part why a degenerate monster/thing like Fleiss is able to command the big bucks producing garbage like this. If anyone has any doubt about his intentions for the Bachelor show, just watch his Youtube videos in which he talks about picking random people, putting them together and letting the drama fly. He talks about not caring whether the couples work out or not, and that the public is less concerned with the star finding true love than they are in watching drama unfold in the house. very telling.

If he were serious, couldn’t he engage in a systematic effort to find women who truly would be well suited for the candidate. Wouldn’t that be interesting…to try to match up people, based upon similar personalities, opposite personalites; those who play to the candidate’s strengths and/or weaknesses; those who have complementary career goals, etc. A thoughtful screening of candidates with the intention of giving the star a realistic chance of finding true love would make this show brilliant. Fleiss clearly doesn’t care…and frankly is being paid way too much money to have such an irresponsible, lackadasical attitude.

Frankly, Fleiss comes across as a drug addicted, stoner/loser who would be stumbling overhimself dunk outside a bar somewhere, probably unemployed, had he not acquired this gig as ABC’s Pimp.

Anyway, well done, Steve. I love your blog and can’t wait to read your next submission.

If ABC does The Bachelor Pad RW/RR-style complete with microphones in the beds and nightvision cameras, it could be really, really good. Also, I nominate “The Situation” for the next Bachelor. That guy is so funny and entertaining to watch. Snickers could be his sidekick in picking women for the rose ceremony. Done right, people would be peeing their pants watching.

For the Tenley comment, you need to exercise a little common sense. Reading Steve’s blog hopefully has provided insights into how this show operates.

If Tenley were indeed pregnant, do you really think she’d make it to the final two? Would ABC have plugged the incident as “the most dramatic bombshell ever!”

More than likely the conversation went something like this:

Jake: There is nothing you could tell me that would make me think less of you.

    Tenley: How about: I’m pregnant!

(Guffaws and giggles then ensue from Jake and Tenley.)

    This show is entirely Fleissed.

Did anyone say whether or not this so-called “inappropriate behavior” of Roz with her head on this man’s shoulder (and possibly hand on leg)happened AFTER her meltdown about not being able to call her son? He simply could have been comforting her as a friend. It is also entirely possible that Fleiss TOLD this man to calm her down by any means necessary and probably knew of his infatuation of Roz. Thereby creating a “scandal” to gain ratings as well as getting rid of both Roz and Ryan – killing two birds with one stone.

I would like to point out that on all the trailers they made it look like a girl on girl thing. Oh to see video of that would have been so juicy! I was let down big time! Fleiss or is it fleeced, missed the boat on this one or maybe he’s just gay.

I did get the feeling that Roz was one of the few girls that was comfortable in her own skin. Yes it was nice skin and truly one of the most beautiful gals ever on the show. Maybe too beautiful? Maybe she intimidated the other a little too much? I saw her as one of the finalist at the end of week one. Maybe too predictable? In the end it’s the business of ratings and not true love. Anyone going on this show would have to know this or be from another planet.

Steve, I just found your site and would like to say great job! Very entertaining and you saved me hours of watching and wondering. Now I can just focus on the bootie!

Roz said in an interview that she could NOT say that she was restrivted from talking with her son on the phone. She said her issue (in that interview before she got her story straight) was that the producers didn’t want her to TALK TO JAKE about her son. And she still expected them to fly her son out to see her while she was there. Hmmmmmm – she was supposed to get the SeaWorld date, but her husband would NOT sign the release for her son to be pimped out on tv. There were two other mothers there. Did they also have the same problems?

Really – it is time to give this a rest. She screwed up. She thought she could use her body and her good looks to get her way. It didn’t work. Paybacks are hell when these guys are doing the paying. How could she not know that? And really, why do we care anymore?

  20. JakeSnake

    January 16, 2010 at 7:53 PM

je2, i do believe she used her body and good looks to get her way. Sadly, she knows how beautiful she is and capitalized on it. I saw it in the way she was shaking her boobs at Jake. Why do that? That’s an act of desperation or rather a knowing of how to manipulate men through your parts. She was so beautiful. A more demure approach would have been classy and respectful. She came off as cheap.

Honestly, if she were having a relationship with the producer, why not have another camera man catch it on film and play it back for her and catch her reaction on film to what she had done.

It appears that no scandal actually went down. Rather some disagreement between Roz and the show’s controlers transpired, forcing her out…allowing the show to spin that departure any way they could. What better way than to portray a gorgeous woman like Roz as a slut. Isn’t that what most jealous women at home would be saying? They would be jealous of her good looks, intelligence, and poise. Why not play into their worst feels about women like her and then humiliate her, allowing some sort of perverse vindication for the female viewership. Just a thought.

  21. JakeSnake

    January 16, 2010 at 7:57 PM

    Just to add something else…

Fleiss on many occassions has made fun of the female viewership at home. He sees a bunch of clucking hens sitting around a TV show getting swept into a romance unfolding before their eyes and being enchanted with all the gossipy nonsense and drama which transpires on this show.

What he did to Roz shows a complete lack of respect for woman and his viewers.I can just hear him thinking….”Throw Rosalyn to the wolves. Make her out to be the bad girl two timing on sweet Jake (the “perfect husband.”) And then humiliated her” (as women would want “the other woman” humiliated.”

This show plays off of stereotypes and is all about manipulating the emotions of viewers.

I saw what they did to Wes, and I didn’t expect anything less this season. I was wondering what they would be doing to top last season. I’m pretty sure we will hear this the whole season (we did with Wes)unless they go with humilating two peoples this season. I don’t know why they continue with the desire to be on this show, I’m not going to judge them because I have been enlighten on the dirt of this show. I no longer look for a love story nor romance but my daughter and I get a good laugh out of it. I once respected Chris Harrison, but have lost respect for him. It seems he will stoop very low for this show. Looking at the clip, he is clearly lying, he keep scratching his eyes everytime he lie. I pray that one day he will look at himself and be disgusted with himself and say I can’t do this any longer. He has turned into something ugly. I would really love to have that old Chris back. Keep the info coming Steve, I like knowing the truth.

    Jake’s limo business – http://www.primestarlimos.com

Saw Roz on The Insider a little while ago. She said she doesn’t want to throw Ryan under the bus but she believes he was fired because he let her use his phone to call her son. He also mailed out a card for her to her son which was against the rules.

About the arrests – this is background information that ABC had in advance so it’s possible that they are the ones who leaked it to try and discredit her. She was 17 years old and acting like a teenager. The charge was possession of alcohol when she was underage. The theft cases were situations with an old boyfriend where he wanted things back from her or something like that – I didn’t quite catch the explanation. Anyway, both charges were dropped. Honestly, ABC will do anything to try and ruin someone they want to get off their back. So sad.

Hey Steve, since we all know that you’re the authority that everyone runs to about answers for these ridiculous Bachelor / Bachlorette shows, what’s the deal with Tenley and the “whole pregnancy” video we saw and what’s up with the new “beau back home” issue with Vienna?
Is it clear that Jake didn’t choose anyone or did he get his heart broken, again! I’d hate to see that, I kind of like Jake – even though – I personally think he’s kind of a schmuck!!

    sjcaligurl,

Thanks for your comments! I totally agree with you about Rozlyn. Also, why don’t these women with kids just stay off this stupid show? If Rozlyn needs contact with her son, then the best way to do it is to stay home and forget this dumb show! Are we to seriously believe that Rozlyn is going to have a tough time getting a man? She needs Jake like a hole in the head.

We will never know the real truth behind what happened. I think it’s absurd to think this guy didn’t know what he was doing by getting involved in some way with Rozlyn. He has apparently been working on this show for some time, so he knows the rules. It’s not his job to arrange for Rozlyn to have contact with her son. As far as the cozying up being just friends, well I don’t really buy that. I think these two people knew exactly what they were doing. They aren’t kids, they are grownups. I think Rozlyn may enjoy manipulating men to get what she wants. She had no problem getting that rose from Jake. It was like taking candy from a baby!

As far as the person who defended Jake and said he gets trashed because of the general decline in morality in our society, well that is the must absurd thing ever! My morals are just fine, thank you very much! I just don’t like Jake because he has NO personality, no humor, nothing of interest to say, speaks in canned cliches, and acts like he has a stick up his butt all the time. The guy is so phony it’s not even funny. When someone has to start drawing analogies between people not liking Jake to the mores of today’s society, then it’s really overreaching. People just don’t like Jake, period! I think he was a creep for getting in between Wes and Jillian. He is a pompous boor who just doesn’t come across well at all. That’s why the show needed to inflate this so-called scandal to get some attention and ratings.

I hope that producer thinks this was all worth it. He is the one who really lost big time, because now he’s out of a job.

“Hearsay is always admissible in court as strong evidence.” LOL. I love ya Steve, but hearsay’s about as admissible as ABC is not guilty of shotty editing. Take it from an attorney, hearsay is almost never admissible unless it meets one of few exceptions (check out Rule 802 of the Federal Rules of Evidence). Just had to get technical. However, speculation as in this case (done by the girls) definitely saves ABC’s ass from any slander suit. I’m totally on board with you concerning this whole Rozlyn scandal. ABC and that smug little Chris Harrison should be ashamed for doing this to a single mother.

Missy, Steve was just being his sarcastic self which is why we all love him. I’m sure most of us have watched enough Law and Order, Judge Judy, etc to know hearsay is not admissible. ABC is using their lawyers to help cover their ass. I want to hear someone from ABC say “we witnessed Rozlyn and Ryan having sex”.

    January 17, 2010 at 3:34 PM

Ah, I guess the sarcasm didn’t translate for me. I agree Deegirl, I want to hear someone say it too –but they never will because it never happened! Instead we have to hear about an “inappropriate relationship.” Gag.

    1. ryan was divorced last year. he was dating with another producer when they kicked rozlyn out. many of the girls were intimidated by rozlyn. so, my guess is that female producer ended all these. fleiss is not that dumb to miss drama for moral values. can you imagine if rozlyn stayed at home and gossip started? lots of cat fights and another meltdown by jake when he confronted rozlyn. perfect for evening soap opera. i am surprised they did not let jake talk to rozlyn. i guess they did not want jake learn her side of story. jake said he did not know rozlyn had a son. jake is clueless.

    2. gia said in one interview she did not know why rozlyn was kicked out. this is probably before chris talked to girls about rozlyn. then, gia told to girls she wished she brought out the rozlyn-producer flirt. so, gia did not talk to producers about it. if three women saw rozlyn and ryan making out are gia, elizabeth and vienna, it must be vienna or elizabeth who talked to producers. they are both shady. how stupid elizabeth thinks to play super difficult to catch? honey, no man chases after you, so you go to tv to find husband.

    3. ashley e. sounded one of the smart women on screen. but, her interview is totally mess. either she is air head or she is paid to lie. they have many divorced, single moms. did somebody forget to read jake’s checklist?

    4. chris said they do not have the video of rozlyn and ryan making out. they did not show any of the girls bringing the issue to the producers. it is hard to believe they do not have the video of that either.

    5. if chris is so confident that his exit speech with rozlyn proves her guilty, then release it unedited. it is plain simple. but, i guess rumors, gossip bring more ratings. yeah right, tenley is pregnant kissing jake who is the first “boy” she kissed for years.

Just saw Jakeoff on Ellen and almost fell on the floor laughing. Ellen says something like so they had sex and then she waits for Jakeoff to respond which he does with a laugh.

Jakeoff also states that he has “the choice” not to choose someone at the end. Steve I think he is on the defense here.
Jakeoff says he fell in love with TWO women at the same time and that he learned this on the show. Wow TWO women! Where can I sign up?

Ok Steve I would like to know a few things:
1.Do the girls get paid to be there?
2.Does Jakeoff get paid to be there?
3.Since Roz was kicked off and slander appears to be happening can she now talk?
4.Are there static cameras in the house and does someone monitor them 24 hours a day?

    Thanks Steve!

I don’t expect Tenley will actually be pregnant. She’ll say it, and then follow it with, “no, I’m just kidding”. Like in a previous season when they showed clips of Jesse telling Deanna (I think that’s who it was) that he would not spend the night with her until he had spoken with her father. And of course he then said, “No, I’m just kidding.” That’s the same situation we have here.

“Also in the third episode, Ella gets a 1-on-1 date at Sea World with her son and Jake. A date, coincidentally, that was originally planned for Rozlyn and her 7 year old son. Ella does not receive a rose at the end of this date and is sent packing. I’m hearing Jake essentially tells her she should be with her son, and not him. Ouch.”

Did Reality Steve just get pwned?

99 out of 100 isn’t bad. Reality Steve has only made one wrong prediction so far.

Wow, Ali is a raging bitch with zero personality. Driving the world to Team Vienna. And Elizabeth, while second to Michelle in crazy, is definitely first in lacking tact, maturity, and intelligence. The Nutty Nanny from Nebraska? Is that where she is from? Who knows. “Omg kiss me! Omg don’t. haha, but don’t you want to? Omg look at my mouth!” Ok we get it you don’t want to kiss him, but why the fuck do you keep talking about kissing then on your one-on-ones??

Anyway, totally agree on the Roz scandal, this issue shouldn’t even be debated. If there was no physical relationship and Chris Harrison is claiming now on his blog there is, I wonder if Roz can get at him for defamation? Most likely not, due to the nature of their contractual obligations. But still, a shitty affair.

Look forward to your posts, Steve. As always!

99 out of 100 isn’t bad. So far, Steve has only had one erroneous prediction, to wit:

“-Also in the third episode, Ella gets a 1-on-1 date at Sea World with her son and Jake. A date, coincidentally, that was originally planned for Rozlyn and her 7 year old son. Ella does not receive a rose at the end of this date and is sent packing. I’m hearing Jake essentially tells her she should be with her son, and not him. Ouch.”

I don’t understand why ABC put out that video? It only proves that Chris has been lying. He has been saying that several girls witnessed the inappropriate physical relationship. I have know enough hot girls and unfortunately been in “the friend zone” with enough of them to know that cuddling on the sofa means nothing. Many girls will cuddle up with a guy, that they see as just a friend, while they tell them all about some other guy that they are into.

I can’t believe no one has posted this yet. It is the first hit Google comes up with when you search tenley pregnant…and no she is not preggo – she was joking. ABC just cut that part out. Lame!

Here is my whole issue with the Rozlyn scandal that negates what you and Rozlyn have been saying: her initial reaction. If I know for a fact I haven’t kissed a guy or had sex with him, and someone accuses me of having an “inappropriate relationship” and is ruining my chance with someone else, no innocent woman..no self-respecting woman with any hutspa says stuff like “My personal life is noone’s business” and “It just happened.” A truly innocent woman is going to scream from the rooftops and deny it all right from the get go. Rozlyn’s initial reaction was basically “Screw You.” Yeah, I get ABC manipulates for ratings. But her reaction was damning. I’m not saying she had sex, but I do think there was a heck of alot more going on than “flirting.”
