I was able to catch Gia on “Ellen” today to see if she had anything interesting to say. She didn’t really. Just that she cried while re-watching the show, and brought out a 9 year old picture of herself to tell everyone she hasn’t had collagen injections. Ummmm, that picture really didn’t prove anything to me to be honest. Regardless, I was much more concerned with two things regarding the show:
1) One of my biggest crushes, Kate Walsh, was on. I’ve got a thing for her, and she has it for me. Well, I at least like to believe she does.
2) Apparently “Ellen” has reached Oprah status. I was completely unaware of this until today. Obviously, I don’t watch “Ellen” on a regular basis, if at all. But the fact that these women start freaking out to the point of their head exploding just because Ellen is dancing in their row is seriously ridiculous. I get that some people get star struck, but that’s taking it a little too far. Calm down.
3) Does Ellen purposely put people in her audience that she can dance better than? It’s hysterical watching the people in attendance try and dance along with her. They have about as much rhythm as the parents who try and clap and sing along with their child on “Idol”.
Speaking of “Idol”, I think sometime next week, I’m going to have my first “Reality Roundup” of the season with my “Idol”, “Survivor”, “Celebrity Rehab”, and “Jersey Shore” thoughts. I think I at least need to see everyone perform live one time before I can start making some judgments on them, although I do have a couple that I like already.
And speaking of dancing, I felt that after my acknowledgment on Tuesday that “Cool As Ice” is one of my all-time guiltiest pleasures, I feel I should share it with the rest of the world since, well, probably only about 10 people saw the movie. And did I forget to tell you that I saw the movie opening night at Universal City Walk in Hollywood for the red carpet event they had? My best friend had won tickets through the radio station and we went. At the time, it was a big deal. Believe I still have pictures from that night somewhere. Celebrities in attendance I took pictures with: Cuba Gooding Jr., Soleil Moon Frye, and David Faustino (Bud Bundy). Yep, the A-listers were certainly out to see Vanilla that night. I remember it like it was yesterday. Anyway, for those who aren’t Facebook friends of mine and didn’t see me post this the other night, here is the first five minutes of the movie. I basically wanted to be as cool as this all throughout high school. I failed.
“Girlies on my tip like white on rice, I don’t sweat on the mic, cuz’ I’m cool as Icccccccceeeeeee”? Are you kidding me? Like I said before: Lyrical Genius. I can’t imagine how he fell from stardom so quickly. Never saw that one coming. Milli Vanilli thinks Ice’s fall from prominence was surprising.
Anyway, regarding Facebook, I know a lot of you have requested me as a friend in the last couple weeks but haven’t heard back. There’s a reason for that. I’m almost maxed out right now on the 5,000 friends, and I have about 1,300 more requests I haven’t responded to. I guess I’m going to have to start a fan page soon. Hopefully I’ll get around to it this weekend. Any questions, comments, emails, or suggestions, email me at steve@realitysteve.com. Or you can follow me on Twitter at www.twitter.com/RealitySteve. See you Tuesday…

@Wes Supporter
WesSupporter,
I like how one of the first things you say is how “I do think it’s awful that all these people are digging up info on Vienna. How mortifying for Vienna” , when all you’re doing is digging up everything that has been said and posted about Gia. Way to contradict yourself. And you’re right, Gia could have chosen to not have a picture/video taken of her boobs being duct taped, but Vienna could have also refrained from having a nude picture of her boobs coverd by a scarf taken. Your points are irrelevant.
After watching last night, mostly, I feel sorry for Rozlyn’s son and any family. For their sake, she just needs to quietly go away.
Rozlyn should have known better after being on the show. She shouldn’t have come back. The result? People out there now think there is some type of “proof” and it’s all paid speculation! I mean, some people commenting here now believe that Rozlyn was lying? Seriously?? You read this column and you STILL fall for it? Come on.
Rozlyn, you probably saw the show last night and you are probably pissed…
However, please come to talk to steve! He won’t edit and piece you together :0)
On the other hand, maybe it’s best that this overdone fiasco is over and done with.
I am interested in what RS has to say today because it looked like she was definitely in the room with the other ladies and the fact that so many came forward with things they saw to call her out. She looked guilty as hell to me. I just don’t see Ella or Gia ratting on her as a lie.
I didn’t think it was possible to get more annoyed with Allie… but that just happened.
I find it interesting that in your last post you said the following: “So basically it sounds like they isolated her from the rest of the girls. Why would they need to do that? And if Rozlyn never got to interact with any of the other girls, isn’t it safe to assume that the other girls were fed stuff to say about her, just like they were this season?”
And then followed up this saying last week with this post: “However, some of you took that to mean when she was brought out, it was just her and Chris on stage. Not the case.”
This is as simple as saying, “I got most of it right but I did get that others were on the stage wrong.” As soon as the episode was over I came to your site to see what you had to say about your obvious error and instead of being humble you tried to make the reader feel like an idiot.
It makes me realize a few things. (1) You can’t admit when you are wrong. (2) You are more in to bashing ABC then you are in to being accurate. (By the way you were also wrong about ABC airing the New Zealand comments…)
I’ll be the first to say that reality TV cannot be taken at face value. But after last night do you really expect anyone to believe that Rosalyn is the innocent party? She looked like a complete fool. While I don’t know the details of what went down, it is pretty obvious that she didn’t get kicked off because she wanted to talk to her son.
Regarding Roz……… Gia could not have said it better… all she had to do was say “look, I caught feelings for the producer” and bow out gracefully. Roz is a complete liar. When the girls were accusing her of specific details… if she genuinely NEW she was innocent, her reaction would have been more like: “are you F*ing kidding me!” Instead of : “C’mon guys, i never say bad stuff about u beautiful girls”……… She threw herself under the bus big time. And i as sooo glad they showed the part where she accuses Chris of hitting on the producers wife because it shows that they did minimal editing to the Roz portion…. I think the show handled it well…. they gave her a sounding board to tell her side…. and she just proved that she’s a ridiculous liar.
And WHY on earth would this producer who was MARRIED take a road trip to visit Roz after he got fires……..I’ll tell ya why… because he’s doing her!
For the sake of impeaching the witnesses, which RS is certain to do in his next column:
Ella’s exit interview (from TVWatch): “I saw her and the producer being very friendly but nothing out of the ordinary.”
Jessie’s exit interview (from TVWatch): “I didn’t see anything, but I heard that other people might have seen something, but we all got over it and past it pretty quickly. We never really talked about it in the house again after that night.”
I remember Ashleigh also saying she didn’t see anything but I can’t find it. fairygirl, help!
@cjhfsu Are you that dense. He meant isolated BEFORE she was brought out on stage.
@Carrythe0
And Ella tells ET that she didn’t want to say anything earlier, because she wanted to say it to Rozlyn personally, rather than being quoted in a tabloid.
“Everything that Rozlyn is going through, I would not want to be in her shoes. That is how I felt then,” Ella says when asked why she didn’t speak up when she did interviews following her exit from the show. “[I am] learning more things that come out. Different things that I saw, I thought she might be joking about something like that. Hearing all the women talk about different things that they saw, it wasn’t a joke. It was real.”
LOL yeah.
Watching Rozlyn last night made me feel uncomfortable and dirty. She is such an unconvincing liar and was just plain nasty trying to deliver her jabs at Chris. Sorry RS, but I think you are wrong about her.
BTW, my opinion of Wes wasn’t improved last night either….he’s still swarmy and trying to promote his career.
I don’t think anyone can claim that Roz is all miss innocent here. That said, it also seems pretty clear that ABC is juicing this thing up to be the biggest scandal they can make it because–let’s face it–they don’t have much authentic drama show for this season. I do find it curious that with so many cameras around, ABC never caught any actual footage of inappropriate behavior. Because we all know if they did you bet your sweet ass they’d show it. Additionally, it’s also pretty curious that they keep Roz separated from the rest of the group, and I don’t doubt that group was coached/egged on/whatever to get them talking about this whole thing. I think they took Roz’s inappropriate behavior and turned it into a whole lot more.
Sure, Roz is likely being disingenuous at the very least… but I seriously doubt that Chris Harrison is so innocent either… ABC took Roz’s sketchy behavior and blew it way out of proportion and behaved, quite frankly, as sketchy as Roz probably did here, for the sake of their own ratings… it is quite possible that Roz’s accusation toward Chris Harrison is accurate too. He’s a big name on ABC, the man can probably get away with more than you think. But fortunately for Harrison, he has the network to cover his ass. Roz is on her own. She’d be doing herself a favor to just stop talking.
ABC is making it out to be a sex scandal and Roz is lying. Most likely the truth lies somewhere in the middle. My guess, ABC is rolling her under the bus but she is far from innocent. I just have a hard time believing Roz. The nail in the coffin for me was when she said the producer had stopped in her town to see her. On one hand she is saying she is concerned for her kid and then what? Mommy needs to go out today and meet the man ( and his father) who got me kicked off the show? 10000% inappropriate. Her New Zealand comment was classless.
Roz didn’t refute not sleeping in her room and she didn’t refute not being “special” friends with the producer. She said they didn’t have sex or any other sexual act.
I do feel sorry for her. She obviously got the “want to be famous” bug. Why else go on Seacrest or agree to do the tell all. Hopefully she can put it all behind her and focus on her kid.
I’m sure if there is any truth to Roz’s accusation about CH we’ll hear from the woman involved. If not her, others. If he is the type of married man to hit on other women (which I doubt) then it’s probably not an isolated case and someone will come forward for their 15 minutes.
Pasthefalls,
I appreciate your concerns, however there is a difference. People are digging into Vienna’s past to discredit and slander her. Gia’s professional (ie, public) identity is of being a swim suit model. Someone did not leak a video of her to the public. Instead, she made a *choice* to pose walking on all fours, duct taping her breasts, and bending over to give her audience a full frontal view — for money and fame to appear in Maxim. The video is part of a public record — and one which is part of her body of work.
Gia, to me, is absolutely disgusting. She is little more than a sex pot. I know many of you may not share my morals and values. I am waiting for marriage to have sex. I believe that women should be modest and then men and women should interact with each other respectfully and friends. I am hardly promiscuous and think one should cultivate a relationship with God and one’s intellect over following the easiest, most base route by reducing ourselves to little more than self-gratifying sex machines who need to turn on and continue to be turned on on a continual basis.
Gia’s energy on the show was putrid. I could tell that she is all about sensuality. She has not developer herself nor pursued a life beyond being a professional sex toy. She is also borderline illiterate. (Listen to her speak…”Jake and I’s”? Her command of basic English is horrendous.) This is a woman who manipulates others for sex and uses her beauty not to glorify others but to give men hard ons so she can have power over them and indulge herself. She is just an animal who thinks about sex all the time and who wants others to think about it too. She might have been molested as a child for all I know…But she is such damaged goods.
Gia is shy and awkward and yet has no qualms about stripping for the public for money — ie, a form of prostitution. She is basically a porn star. But in truth, she is fully confident about being a sex toy. She just cannot compete or relate on the same level as her peers as she is undeveloped intellectually. Are you surprised that her whole experience with men has been being used and dumped? That is all she knows. She thinks she must be gorgeous to get a man and so dresses like a dog’s dinner. Men with one thing on their minds seek her out, use her to gratify themselves and then dump her as she has little else to offer.
No TV host is able to hold a conversation with her. She just giggles and maybe can talk about her looks and flirt with the camera. Jake even said that he just wasn’t feeling it. It takes more than looks and being nice to maintain a relationship.
Let’s take a look at what we know of her:
1. Her idea of fun is to play “spin the bottle” and hide and seek.
2. She dresses in skimpy outfits and lets her boobs hang out.
3. She has had facial reconstructive surgery and possibly boob implants and spends all her money on clothing.
4. She frolicked around the ocean with Jake with her top off
5. She is a professional pornographer.
6. During her hometown date with Jake, she bent over the rail and stuck her butt in his face. How gross is that? Jake even looked repulsed.
7. She looks at Jake desperately and seductively, having nothing to say for herself, but hoping her alleged “good looks” will get her a rose, a win, or a chance at being the Bachelorette.
8. She is a groupie who beds celebrities.
This woman is lazy and has nothing to offer beyond her looks. THere is nothing to dig up on her as she acted as she did on the show– and her body of work is for the public record. She wants people to see how she is in front of the camera, bending over and duct taping her boobs. She chose to do all these things.
In contract, Vienna was just herself…She was wild, reckless, and immature — a typical teenager. Yes, he climbed into bed with Jake, but really what we saw of her was just a ballsy, aggressive, fun loving person who was confident in being herself. Vienna didn’t broadcast all the garbage that is being circulated about her. People dug that crap up.
It’s sad that I have to actually spell things out here. Please try to exercise critical thinking. We’re talking about apples and oranges. Don’t you see the difference? It’s cute that you tried to catch me in contradictions and hypocrisy, but it just isn’t there, despite your affection and undying love for Gia, one of the most undeserving and pathetic candidates to appear on the Bachelor.
LindayTX- I’m not sure I agree. Many people higher up in television get away with all kinds of things, especially hitting on people of the opposite sex, especially when people below them on the totem pole don’t have the kind of influence that they do. Whether the New Zealand comment has any truth to it or not—I would not put it past Harrison or any other TV personality for that matter—to behave in ways that they know they can get away with. Perhaps he is innocent. But the truth is, a LOT of people with influence (actors, professional athletes) get away with far more than your average joe gets away with.
Ok so if I get this right, I send in my application to be part of the next 25 bachelorettes next season, I end up hating this one girl on set cuz she’s hotter than me, manage to convince two other girls who are also not as hot that we saw her grabbing the cameraman’s crotch and that id base to get her off the show? Sounds too easy.
Steve, I used to enjoy your blogs of the Bachelor(ette). They were funny as hell. however, that came to an end when your ego got in the way of having fun with this stupid show and you started taking yourself and these “conspiracy theories” seriously. Yes, I am well aware of what the producers/Fleiss do to manipulate the viewing audience. However, in the past few seasons, you have latchd onto the worst rejects of this show due to their poor behavior and taken up their BS as your personal cause.
If the Jillian season and your slobbering all over that scumbag Wes wasn’t bad enough, you are now accusing 12 women who spoke up and revealed what they saw and heard in regards to Rozelyn’s behavior with the Producer as liars. Yep, according to you they are ALL liars and only Rozelyn is telling the absolute truth. Alrighty then! There isn’t one moment in that Tell All where I could see “truth” coming from Rozelyn. In fact, she showed her true colors very clearly.
Your self promotion, conspiracy theories, and drama is becoming more disturbing with each season. Your penchant for latching on to the dregs of this show who would say anything to excuse their bad behavior is quite sad. Dude, you need to just stop. Get back to what you are good at, leave the conspiracy theories to the nutcases and stop latching on to the discarded trash. It’s a show. Nothing more, nothing less.
Sorry,
I didn’t buy an ounce of Roz’s story and I don’t believe they managed to coerce, cajole or PAY that many women to ‘gang up’ on her or LIE on her. She was nasty and took cheap shots at everyone who said anything to her. The fried uterus comment to Ella was beyond tacky. She may have been friends with them in the house but many of them were the ones who reported her. Valishia – the homemaker w/2 kids – seems to be backpedaling now but who the heck even knew who she was when she got eliminated? She got more airtime last night than she did on the actual show. Roz threw her ‘friend’ the producer under the bus by repeating something he supposedly told her. I wonder if she was worth him losing his job now?
Sorry, don’t buy into the evil cabal against Roz.
Okay…I believe Ryan (fired producer) was given a substantial severance, thus no commentary from him.
Chris was an ass…totally stupid behavior and yes indeed he did attack Roz! And notice how quickly he changed the subject when she got him good about his “inappropriate” attention to Ryan’s wife! Chris is a tool of this show and will always do as he is required in order to keep those pay checks rolling in!
Roz probably was a flirt and Ryan being the unattractive, recently divorced guy was probably flattered. Don’t believe there was any sex. And why was she not allowed phone calls to her son when the other women stated they could call each day! Excuse she was given was “no camera crew around to record the calls”. Where was the camera crew when the other women made their calls!!! Nonsense!
As to the women….firmly believe they were offered incentives to trash Roz…could be comments such as “you could be the new bachelorette” would do it for some. Prissy Ella should disappear. Did not make a good impression at all!
Gia needs to dump that hunky wad of hair over her right eye! God she looked awful and that lisp of hers is not doing her any favors!
