So Who Did Ali Choose?

Remember, for this seasons spoilers, click on the either of the two links under the banner above (Part 1 & Part 2) for all your answers regarding what happens this season.

Many of you have asked since the beginning of the season why I haven’t released the ending to the show. My reason has basically been because I wasn’t told the ending, and rather than give the partial ending of what I knew (the guy who Ali definitely didn’t pick at the final rose ceremony), I figured I’d wait til I knew more before running with it. Well, here we are a month later and I’ve been given overwhelming evidence that has led me to release today what I know. Frankly, I just want to get it out there and be done with it. I’ve given every other correct spoiler on this season and last season, so the last thing I’m worried about is my credibility. I just don’t think I’m gonna find out any more than I already know, until the “After the Final Rose” episode tapes. So why not just release now what I know and let the cards fall where they may? It’s what I get bombarded with on email every day anyway, so I figured I might as well just tell people what I’ve been told. They can think what they want after that. If I’m wrong, so be it. But I feel strongly the information I’ve been given is correct.

Back in my blog post on 5/20, I said:

I can say this. The reason I am not running with anything is because I am not sure of the end result of the show. I mean, I’ve known all along there is one guy between Chris and Roberto that Ali DOESN’T choose, but that doesn’t necessarily mean I know the ending. The way I see it, that leaves three possibilities remaining for the other guy:

-She chose him and they’re engaged
-She chose him and they’re just dating
-She chose no one

I know that there is no tricky ending with someone returning or anything like that and I know for certain that one of those two wasn’t chosen. I just don’t know what the result is with the other one.

Really, part of the reason is I’m just tired of getting asked about it, so I figured I’d let people in on everything I know and they can draw their own conclusions. There are a lot of rumors out there floating around, and even US Weekly ran with some stuff this week (which I’ll get to in a second) that really has me questioning what the hell they’re doing. Anyway, I’ve said for almost a month now, that between Chris and Roberto at the final two, I always knew there was one guy she didn’t choose. That person is Chris Lambton. So all the Chris Lambton lovers may now either breathe a sigh of relief that he’s single, or start hyperventilating because you’re so upset he’s not with Ali. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. So any sites reporting Ali is with/engaged to Chris Lambton…better luck time. Chris was rejected at the final rose ceremony. You took a 50/50 shot in the dark, and you guessed wrong. We have some parting gifts for you on your way out the door. Nice try.

And since there are no tricky endings, that leaves Roberto. Is she with him or is she single? Still not quite sure, however, overwhelming evidence that has been told to me says that Ali is a single woman today and she didn’t choose him either. Put it this way: I’ve heard from FIVE different sources who have told me that she’s single. As of two days ago, it was only three sources. Two more came forward in the last 48 hours and also told me. So if you’re asking me what I think happens at the end of the show, I’ll tell you that Ali is a single woman and didn’t choose anybody at the final rose ceremony. Is there a chance this could be wrong? I guess. But I highly doubt it. I trust the people I’ve spoken with. So that’s what I know.

Now, some of you might bring up this week’s “US Weekly” as evidence to the contrary. I’ll admit, I was surprised when I first read it. But if you read deeper into it, they really have nothing and its pure speculation. Here is a quote in this weeks magazine:

“Still, at least one viewer of her hit show, which wrapped in March, recognized her (at the Union Street Festival June 5th) and asked the question every fan wants to know: Did she find love? Her triumphant reply: “Yeah, I’m really happy!”

Ummmm, because some random anonymous person gave you that quote we’re supposed to believe it? Who is this person? How do we know that was the question they asked and that was the response Ali gave? Why wouldn’t you give their name? Why would Ali tell this random fan of the show, yet, be close lipped to the media when they ask? C’mon now. This is the same magazine, that on the very next page, has a picture of Mike Steinberg saying he’s on this season of the “Bachelor Pad”, and we know that’s not the case.

“US Weekly” put Jake and Vienna on the cover four weeks in a row with stories. I would think if they’re trying to say that Ali picked a final guy and is happy and in love, that’d either be on the cover, or at least a side bar on the cover. Nope. It’s neither. I don’t think this quote from “anonymous fan” tells us anything to be honest with you. The last paragraph of the story reads like this:

“Good thing, considering Fedotowsky says she followed her heart in making her final pick. ‘I just really went with a feeling,” she tells US. “I never questioned it!”

Once again, that doesn’t reveal anything. “I went with a feeling and never questioned it” could easily mean her feeling was she wasn’t in love with either guy. She’s yet to utter the phrase “I’m in love” in any interview, including this one. Combine that with what my sources have told me, I’ll stand by what I’ve been told regardless of what this story says. Basically what I’m trying to say is “US Weekly” doesn’t know sh** right now. Hell, the title of the story is “Will Ali Find Love?” So they’re ADMITTING they’re still questioning what happened in the end.

I’m here to tell you that the overwhelming evidence that has been given to me by five different sources have all told me Ali is single. Once I knew weeks ago she didn’t pick Chris, I was waiting for information that said “Ali picked Roberto”. I’ve never gotten it. All I’ve gotten was she’s single and I feel pretty confident in that. I have been led to believe she chose no one at the final rose ceremony. I’m sure this will still have doubters, and that’s fine. Everyone can read into stuff how they like. I’m just relaying to you everything that I’ve been told. And that is, 100% without a doubt she did not pick Chris at the final rose ceremony. So basically, she is either with Roberto, or she’s with no one, and I’ve been told she’s with no one and single. Guess time will tell.

Lets see what happens. Whew. Finally. Now it’s time to board a plane and party it up this weekend in Chicago. Looking forward to it. See some of you there.

  1. I just read the news from E online and OK Magazine that Jake and Vienna have broken up. :-)
    Their reps confirmed the split.
There was no other information available at this time.
I’m happy that the two have split. I think they were a fake couple anyway – together only to further their careers in Hollywood.
Now, if Jake hurries home from filming, he can perhaps secure a spot on “The Bachelor Pad” and burst in at Ali’s ATFR show. Jake, never missing an opportunity to get his face plastered all over the TV, can attempt to propose to Ali……
Steve, I’d love to read your comments concerning the Jake and Vienna breakup. :-)

  2. I just read the same thing about Jake and Vienna! I find it very interesting the timing of their split. I wonder if Ali still has feeling’s for Jake? I guess we will just have to wait and see how this all pans out!

  5. I see in Steve’s Twitter feed in the right hand column of this page that he says he will be talking about the Jake & Vienna breakup in today’s column.

  6. Ali still has feelings for Jake.. ARE YOU SERIOUS NOW. That has got to be the most hilarious statement ever. Ali wants to become famous not work at Facebook. She wants to marry RICH and do nothing but go shop all day and spend money. I can’t believe people actually believe this shit.

Ali thinks by being on the Bachelor now she can score someone alot better looking with actual MONEY none of these losers who come on a show to be famous “like her” She wants an established famous person, Ali is reaching for the stars.

Look at Lauren Conrad she was a nobody and now is dating celebrities just because she was on a reality show.

People who go on these shows are FAME whores, they wont settle for an ordinary guy. Ali knows men will be flocking at her after this show.

P.s. Anyone notice she looks really fat this season?

  7. Vienna and Jake split? geez it was a wonder that they stayed that long but hey! most probably for hollywood purposes uh?

Yep… steve, take your pen here! tap tap tap we’re waiting here!

It was an interesting show yesterday night (june 21).

I am still waiting the so oh romantic connexion between ChrisL though. Dont you think they are awkward when ali and him kiss?

  8. The Jake and Vienna breakup… definitely, the timing is a little suspicious.

If you read Chris’ blog on EW he says something along the lines of “a statement that Ali makes lays the path for the rest of the season” and that statement is that she is not afraid of falling in love, but of not being loved back. So now, if she doesn’t pick Chris L., that means that she picks Roberto, but he tells her to beat it.

As far as Roberto as the next bachelor, he is cute, but a little blah. Chris L. seems to have a little bit more substance.

  9. I too just read the news about the split of Jake and Vienna, can’t say I’m really suprised though.

Steve- I know you have been saying they wouldn’t last from the very beginning but I would still love to hear your comments on the breakup!

  10. It is a shame this show picks out screwballs for Ali who was sincere on finding a husband. This show is going to the pits with the last 3 show of doing Melissa the way they did for ratings. Then with the idoit Jake. Now Ali is really wanting to find a husband and they pick out men that are not right for her or already with girlfriends. I think Ali is super and I feel so sorry for her. I heard Jake broke up…wnd we knew that would not last. Ali doesn’t need to go back to Jake as no telling about him after he’s been with Veinna. Ali is cute, smart and some lucky guy will hopefully meet her and make her happy without this LOUSY show. I use to love it but it is all FAKE adn only for ratings. They need to just let it be real and work like it did in the one wit Trista and Ryan. What a rip off on this show. You had a cute girl looking for a husband and tried to screw around with her mind….shame on you!!!!

  11. ABC made a poor choice by choosing Ali as the Bahcelorette in the first place. It doesn’t take Dr. Phil to realize that Ali is afraid of commitment. It was evident in last season’s Bachelor, with Jake P., that Ali struggles with commitment. She didn’t want to lose her job and she was not willing to take a chance on a relationship with Jake. She was threatened by Vienna the entire time, which was clear by all of the trash talk that she dished out about Vienna. If she chose Jake and stayed on the Bachelor she might have ended up single and jobless. She is clearly not a risk taker. Then we had to witness the pathetic illistration of her trying to get Jake to take her back…well that didn’t work out so well. What ABC did do a good job at was taping the right moments for all of America to see as “Poor” Ali was rejected and the “Poor” thing just couldn’t decide what she wanted for her life. Taking a chance on Love or her Career.

Now here she is again…same story, different scenery. She is still her wishy-washy self who can’t seem to make up her mind or take a chance on commitment.

After reading what Reality Steve has posted, I think I have an even clearer picture on what has happened. It seems to me that Ali really falls for Frank, who he himself is very insecure, and Frank bails on her before the end because he doesn’t want to be rejected either. Therefore, he choses the safe route, an ex-girlfriend. Actually Frank and Ali are perfect for one another. Both bailed at the moment when they felt the stress of possibly not being “The Last One Standing” at the final rose ceremony. Neither one are risk takers in the love game and neither will ever be completely happy with who they are with because it seems that they like to self sabatoge before someone else can sabatoge them.

Hopefully going forward, they will find a Bachelorette that will actually be a risk taker and not one that is a lame cast away from a past Bachelor season.

I have been a dedicated fan of the Bachelor and Bachelorette, but they need to start finding REAL people who REALLY want to find love. Come on ABC, let’s get back to basics and start weeding out the wanna be actresses and actors!

  12. I haven’t read through all of the messages so don’t know if this has been mentioned, but I wonder if she was going to pick Frank and decided not to pick anyone after he decided to get back with his girlfriend?

  13. It has been announced that Jake and Vienna broke up … maybe Ali still wants Jake and they will announce at ATFR that Ali and Jake are dating …. makes you go hmmmm ….

  15. I just read today in one of the tabloids that Frank also had a girlfriend and he was one of the bottom 3. I don’t see it addressed in the spoilers here but that must have crushed Ali that 2 guys were cheaters…i wonder how many more there were that just didn’t get caught. Frank apparently realized he didn’t have feelings for Ali like he did for his girlfriend. These guys are all full of it. And ABC needs to shut this stupid show down as now it is a total joke….it is very sad, and if i were Ali, i’d sue them since they must have known (and it is reported that they did know) about these guys and their girlfriends. they’ll do anything for ratings – including prostituting themselves. i used to like chris harrison on designers challenge, but he’s turned into a creep letting these guys hurt an innocent girl. however, maybe ali was doing it for fame too. one minute she couldn’t leave her job or they’d fire her, the next minute she could take all this time off to find love. the tabloid reported that she has been with more men than she let on and that they always wind up breaking up – they also said she was the only bachelorette to make out with all the guys and during the rose ceremony….her voice was really starting to grate on my nerves last night – all the whining and the fake laugh…and the way she talks like a baby and doesnt open her mouth/teeth! she didn’t do this when she was on with jake. she was likable then, but now, i can see why the guys got tired of her – and not to be too picky, but couldn’t they dye her roots for the show????

  17. Chri L. for the NEXT Bachelor, Make it So PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
EVERYONE start writing ABC NOW… what a Sweetheart He Is!!

  18. ali too disgusting and i guess she look for that cus i find craig the lawyer guy was nice too, what she was really looking at are the guys who she found “romance with” and those were the guys that end up hurting her while she left all the guys who really liked her and was committed to her to go home.

  19. I don’t think Ali was a slut and I don’t think she was acting except how anyone would act when being watched by millions of people.
Here’s what happened: Ali fell in love with Frank. End of story. After that episode on monday I figured cancel the show it’s over. Then he goes and breaks her heart. After that it really was all over because no matter how great and sexy her other guys were, a broken heart isn’t ready to fall in love.
I just feel really bad for her because I think she truly believed she was going to end up with someone. Although, being on the show was alot of exposure for her and I’m sure there are guys right now trying to be “the one” just like there are tons of girls right now who have the hots for Roberto or Chris.

  20. ChrisL is cute and boyish, but has the personality of a stump.

Roberto has all of the goods – and is way too polished for Ali – so no connect there. He can do better.

Ali is as fake as Jake. Anyone else notice the nasally (sp) whine she gets when she’s trying too hard to talk sweet?

Frank is a nut-bag. Saw through him from day one. Definite ick factor with his tiny eyes and greasy forehead.

  21. So I am thinking that Ali will choose no one, cuz a little bit of Ali goes a long way, she is still hung up on the prowrestler, right. And Chris and Roberto will choose each other. A little Bachelorette twist, with a flair of gay pride. That would be the best ending ever!!

  22. If Ali doesn’t pick Chris L., I hope he will become the next “Bachelor.”

  23. I’m tired of watching this show thinking that some of these people are really interested in finding someone. I knew that Jake was in it for the fame and ever since this season started with Ali I had the feeling that she was in it for a career as well. I’m thinking watching this show isn’t worth my time anymore!

  25. I’m honestly not surprised. On the last season of the Bachelor most people thought that Jake would choose Ali or let her come back, but he didn’t. And now a tone of people think that she should choose Chris Lambton, but she doesn’t. The producer of the show probably has a major influence on who the bachelor/bechalorette chooses. I thought that Ali should have chosen Chris but based on past seasons of the Bachelor it doesn’t suprise me.
