Now that I have more time, let me explain a tad more in detail about Thursday night’s posting of the Finale spoilers. The business center at the Venetian closes at like 6pm. So I had to go to one of these computers in a hallway that charged $1.00/minute, and it wasn’t a normal keyboard I was typing on. Nor were some of the keys in the correct places, so I was making tons of mistakes and kept having to backspace, which in turn took more time, which obviously led to paying more money. Normally, with the length of that spoiler column I wrote Thursday, that’d probably take me 5 minutes to type. Ha ha. It took me 25 minutes on that Venetian computer. What a beating. No big deal. I had just come from winning at the craps table, so it made spending $25 to write a column a little more tolerable. And no, I don’t have a laptop. I know, I know. Probably should get one. However, I have a Blackberry. And outside of my column, it’s not like I’m typing every second of the day. I do think I’ll get one for Christmas this year, but I’ve never really had this desperate need to get one. It’s not like my job insists on me having one. But this past weekend, yeah, probably needed one so I didn’t have to stand up while typing the column on keys that were spaced out from each other and in the wrong places. Good times.
Many of you have asked when the apology that I talked about during Ali’s season is going to happen. I can tell you now that it’ll be happening next week. I’ve talked to the parties involved and they are very thankful I’m doing it. However, it will not be an interview. I’ve apologized in private to them, and that’s what I feel meant the most. The reason why I’m going to apologize on the blog is because, well, that’s where it all started. So I feel I need to explain to a lot of people why I said what I said, when I said it, and why it was inaccurate information. So definitely be looking for that next week. I’m glad I can finally get this off my chest since it’s been bothering me once I found out the truth a few months back. I thought I’d do it during “Bachelor Pad” but then thought better of it and decided to wait until after the season was over to give it its proper due. So check back some time next week for that to happen.
As for the next “Bachelor”, you heard Chris say at the end of last night’s broadcast, “We’ll see you back in January for our next installment of the ‘Bachelor’.” Meaning they are keeping their same schedule as in the past two “Bachelor” seasons with Jason and Jake where they’ll start shooting in Mid October and finish right before Thanksgiving. So that means the announcement of who the next “Bachelor” is should be coming within the next couple weeks I’m assuming. And I’m sure it’ll be announced on “Dancing with the Stars”. If I hear anything before that, obviously I’ll give you a heads up. It’s Chris’ if he wants it. I just have no idea where that guy’s head is at. There are definitely rumblings out there that for the first time in five seasons, they’re not gonna recycle and we’re gonna get someone new. If it’s not Chris, I honestly have no clue where they’re looking. Some of you have even expressed publicly you’d like to see Wes as the “Bachelor”. Ha ha. Now that’s funny considering how many of you despised the guy when on the “Bachelorette”. Editing can certainly make anyone look bad, can’t they? They toyed with Wes on Jillian’s season because they knew they could. This time around, he came off as one of the more nicer, down to earth guys this season. Good for him. But to answer your question, no, Wes is not going to be the next “Bachelor”. Nor would he want to be. On to last night?
Kudos to my sources for once again coming through for me this season. First back in June when they gave me all the spoilers up until the live finale, and then Thursday night when they were somehow able to pull me away from a winning craps table to feed me what happened at the live taping. So thank you to them. Nice to see the finale play out exactly like they told me it would on Thursday. They never gave me many details on the dance competition other than who won, and thank God for that. That was quite a site to witness. Yes, I understand these people had only 24 hours to learn a dance, and outside of Tenley, the rest of them all have two left feet. But still, quit telling me all three of those dances scored nothing lower than an 8. Please. Carrie Ann, Len, and Bruno would’ve destroyed all of them and the highest score MIGHT have been a 7. And for the record, Dave and Natalie should’ve won. Tenley and Kiptyn’s dance was much easier compared to theirs. I guess the judges were wow’ed by Shortcake continuously telling Kiptyn to “smile” during the dance. Dave and Natalie might’ve screwed up at the end, but it certainly was a more entertaining dance and much more difficult.
As for Kovacs and Elizabeth, America’s most dysfunctional couple, that was a laughable performance. Neither of them stood a chance to win. Kovacs has the flexibility of a lead pipe, and Elizabeth you could tell was so hoping that the final challenge would be something along the lines of, oh I don’t know, “Sex On the Hood Of a Car. Or “Add Up Your STD’s”. That might’ve been the only chance they had. I don’t even know if you can consider what they did actual dancing. It was a lot of walking around, or stumbling around, and sexual posing. Too bad Kovacs was hoping Elizabeth would suffer a last minute injury and he’d get Edyta as a fill in. Not shocked at all to see Elizabeth jealous when Edyta was training them. Especially when Kovacs utters, “I’ve never seen a girl in person with that great of a body.” Which of course was followed by Elizabeth saying, “I don’t feel like I’m as sexy as Edyta.” Probably an accurate feeling you got there, cuz, ummmmm, you’re not. Pretty simple. The fact that these two got three 8′s from the judges was laughable. Maybe an 8 out of 100.
I think the line of the night probably came from Louis Van Amstel when he was training Dave and Natalie and asked if they’d ever had sex before. I don’t think either flatly came out and confirmed it or denied it, but I do remember Natalie talking a little later on about what great sexual chemistry they had. And in interviews since the show, Natalie has all but said they consummated their “friendship” when in Vegas. It’s not like the viewing public couldn’t tell what was going on. However, this nonsense about Natalie saying that if they won the money, it would definitely give them the financial flexibility to move closer to each other and start a relationship. Ha ha. That’s certainly not happening. Natalie isn’t moving to Ohio to be in a relationship with Dave, that’s for sure. And if Dave ends up moving to LA someday, it’s because he’s got the Hollywood bug like most of these contestants do, and wants to try his hand at acting or something. It certainly wouldn’t be because he misses Natalie that much that he needs to be near her. They are good friends with benefits. As are most of these couples.
Elizabeth can say all she wants on the live finale how hurt she is over Kovacs, and she can’t believe some of the things he said about her, and “Anybody wants to date a player, here he is.” The bottom line is if Kovacs started paying attention to her again, she’d fall right back into his arms. She basically said, “He doesn’t want a commitment, and I do.” Great. So that means you two will never hook up again, right? Ha ha. I doubt that. The minute her phone rings at 1am and it’s a drunk, horny Kovacs on the other line saying he wants to come over cuz he misses her, she’ll run to her front door and unlock it. She’s obviously much more into him than he’s in to her and he knows it. But hey, that’s how it is with most of the guys. Kovacs doesn’t want a commitment? No way! He totally comes across as someone that’s looking for his one true love to spend the rest of his life with and never sleep with anyone else ever again. On the bright side, Elizabeth looks a hell of a lot better without urine yellow hair.
I don’t know what this show’s deal is with trying to hype up couples from this show. As I said the last couple weeks, the only people that officially a couple from this show are Tenley and Kiptyn. This stuff about Dave and Natalie trying the long distance thing, and Gia and Wes ? please. You even got Chris Harrison in his blog today saying how happy he is for Gia and Wes. Happy for what? Neither of them have stated publicly that they are boyfriend and girlfriend. You know why? Because they’re not. The word “couple” gets thrown around a lot in the “Bachelor/ette” circles, and it doesn’t mean anything really. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times: Remember people, this is a television show. And for all these people, it’s their second time being on it, so they know how it works now. You play up certain storylines and certain angles, and you’ll get camera time. Gia just gave an interview last week to someone that asked why it ended with her hockey player ex, Chris Campoli. Her answer was basically, “He’s in Canada, and I’m in NY. We have completely different schedules.” Ummm, and Wes living in Austin and being a traveling musician isn’t the exact same thing, only farther away? Like I said, Tenley and Kiptyn are your only official couple from this show, so lets just leave that topic alone.
Even though I reported on Thursday that at the after party, that Dave left the after party with Jessie, doesn’t mean he’s with her either. Just means that they left together and hooked up. Whatever “hooked up” means. I don’t know. I wasn’t there. But someone hook Dave up to lie detector test and ask him specifically if he hooked up with Jessie last Thursday night when the after party was over. If his answer is anything but “yes”, the polygraph will explode. It’s not like what they’re doing is illegal, because obviously it isn’t, just don’t portray it as something other than what it really is ? a bunch of good looking people hooking up. That’s what they do when they get together and very few, if any, long lasting couples come of it.
Speaking of long lasting couples, lets talk about Kip-Ten for a minute. Or Kipley. Or Ten-tyn. Or whatever ridiculous mashed up name you’d like to give them that doesn’t make you puke. They basically cost themselves 125k each by taking Dave and Natalie to the finals. There isn’t a chance in hell if they took Kovacs and Elizabeth to the finals that Rainbow Brite and Kiptyn wouldn’t have won in a landslide. However, at the time they had to make their decision, they had no idea what the final challenge was, so I can’t give them too much crap. I mean, if they knew that the final couple would be voted on by the 15 cast members, then of course they would’ve taken Kovacs and Elizabeth. The vote would’ve been 15-0. Who the hell would’ve voted for those two walking diseases to take home the money? As for that final vote, we saw 12 people vote, and it was 8-4 in favor of Dave and Natalie. And as I reported on Thursday, it was a landslide. The only votes we didn’t see last night were Gia’s, Kovacs, and Elizabeth. I’m here to tell you all three of them also voted for Dave and Natalie, which means Ten-tyn lost 11 to 4 in the voting. Ouch. That’s not even close. So obviously there are people there they weren’t too hip to their act. Sucks for them. Don’t know why so many people turned on them, but I have my guesses.
I don’t care what way the final challenge would have gone down for Kiptyn and Tenley to have selected Dave & Natalee was beyond stupid. Those two goofballs had not won anything and were on the verge of being voted off each week so why would you keep around the couple that was the fiercest competitors of all? KipTen deserved to lose after that. And the fact that the majority of the house must want to gag on Tenley’s goodygoody little miss perfect baby talking act… Whatever does Kiptyn see in her? Says a lot about him for sure. Even though her speech to the group was only about 4 minutes not 20 it seemed longer and it was sickening. To say nothing for what she did to Michelle, who may not be a fan fave but did not deserve to be gossiped about.
All and all Bachelor Pad was a lot of fun to watch. And I love that Wes came out of it redeemed because he is a whole lot more genuine and a much better guy than many who have appeared. Too bad he and Gia can’t find the time to become a couple. I really like them together.

2) Anyone have any thoughts on Wes saying what he did to Dave and then voting for him and Nat or why Juan said what he did about Tenley and then voted for them, anyway. How much did producers influence the final vote. Kiptyn and Tenley would have been “share” for sure, so Nat and Dave provided added suspense.
3) If Realitysteve won’t share, what are everyone’s thoughts about why everyone turned on Kiptyn and Tenley on the final vote. Could it have been Tenley’s 20 rant that they barely showed. Is there anything that Kiptyn and Tenley did that anyone knows know about or was it just them not be sincere about their relationship from the start…I don’t think their relationship is fake, but I also don’t see Kiptyn being able to handle Tenley hanging all over him all the time once they see each other on a day to day basis.
RS Comment: It is much more entertaining reading your column, personally, when you don’t rag on everyone for every little thing and focus on the people and situation that really deserve it. I am grateful though for sharing with us the “behind the scenes” things you uncover and show us how fake this show really is. I was doped into being a Jake fan and hating Wes on Jillian’s season before I found you site and it’s funny how I feel exactly the same way now, just about the opposite person.

Kip is in for a whole lotta drama from Twinkle. She admitted on BP that she is sensitive & emotional and we saw how she cries like a 6 yr old at the drop of a hat. What guy in his right mind wants a woman like that? If i was a man, I would not be attracted to her in the first place – but even if I was, all that emotional baggage she drags around would put me OFF in a hurry. I like Wes now and I didn’t before. I wonder if Dave Roid & Nasty Nat will remain a “couple”? Since they jumped right into sex, what do you bet their romance will now begin to fade away? Watch closely girls – especially you gals that think getting naked & sweaty right away is a good thing–and see what sex too soon turns out to be. Not much–that’s what I’m betting.

I am disappointed that Natalie and Dave won because (along with Kovacs) they were the most shallow people on the show. Of that entire crew, they would be the last people I would want to hang out with. Not my kind of people at all.
I am also disappointed in your lack of insight into the Elizabeth/Kovacs’ situation. Elizabeth is not to blame for Kovacs’ behavior. It is true that she is too open and vulnerable for her own good, but she is not “crazy”. Kovacs’ MO is to seduce and use and prey on woman. Hide and watch and check back in several years. I think you will find he is the same. He will never be a one-woman type of man, even if he marries or “settles down”.
Also, you didn’t mention Michelle’s rant on Tenley. Really, Michelle needs to get over it. Weren’t hookups part of the show? Nobody cared whether or not she was with Craig. Did you notice that Craig never said a word about it? And nobody asked him, either Why? Because it was a non-event. The so-called “rumor” didn’t have any bearing on Michelle getting voted off. Michelle got voted off because she is Michelle.
I think Tenley ended up being a scapegoat because she is genuinely nice person. I know many will disagree, but I still love Tenley, and that is just that.
I also hope you are wrong about G and Wes. I really like both of them and wish they could make it happen together. Whatever happens, I wish them both the best.

Showsreality, it’s pretty easy to have a rumor started about you when you climb into the guy’s bed the night before. Maybe it’s editing, but it sure looked suspicious for Michelle and McAngry. The fact that Michelle still held it against Tenley and still seemed pissed about it shows what kind of woman Michelle is: someone I wouldn’t want to be within 100 feet of.
Let’s hear it, Steve– why do you think the other Bachelor Pad members didn’t vote for Kiptyn and Tenley?
My guesses- Tenley is unbearably annoying and obnoxious. That Kiptyn and Tenley together come off as fake and perhaps were presenting a false front (“He’s mahh boyfriendddd”) for the purpose of winning the show. That Kiptyn and Tenley were the closest to being outsiders of the insiders so in this popularity contest known as the Bachelor Pad, the people voting would rather win future favor with Dave and Nat (the cooler kids).
FYI- I saw Michelle the other day. She is a waitress at a restaurant in a Mariott in Anaheim, California (right near Disney)!
Yes Tenley [ Twinkle } is totally annoying–all that screaming and jumping up and down and that voice–the tears at the drop of a hat. She’s not a woman – she’s a girl. I wanted to barf when she was on with Jake & she did a dance for him. Remember that? Like a little girl showing off. What a mornonic thing to do! Michelle a waitress? I wonder how long she’ll keep that job? She has the personality of a snake. Waitresses have to smile and be nice to customers. She is filled with rage & is evil looking in my opinion.
I made my husband watch the Bachelor Pad with me and I told him, pretty much every week, I would not have been able to stand being in a house with Tenley. Her constant screaming and jumping and cheering and the rainbows and ponys and princesses ….PUKE. I woulda slapped her, especially if she had come anywhere near me in the morning before I had my coffee. I wish Kiptyn lotsa luck.

Why are people beating up on Tenley? Yes, she is annoying, but Natatile and Dave were the biggest players and the most obnoxious out of all of them. There must have been producers pulling strings behind the scenes. I don’t get why everyone was so loyal to those two shallow people. At least Kiptyn and Tenley seem like halfway decent people.
The whole Kovacs and Elizabeth situation is a lesson in why a girl shouldn’t sleep with a guy she really likes, until she has a real commitment from him, and she feels secure in the relationship. Elizabeth let herself get played by Kovacs, and thats what drove her crazy.
Gia is the most annoying, she just can’t stop throwing Nikki under the bus. She is a delusional hypocrite. Run, Wes, run!

Sex changes the game. Kissing changes the game. Going to a super-fancy-$100-a-plate restaurant changes the game. Meeting your date’s friends or parents changes the game.
This question boils down to: which game do you want to be playing?
Historically, if you’re interested in a meaningful relationship, you ramp things up as you go along, adding levels of intimacy gradually. It’s fine if you want to jump right to the naked, sweaty fun. BUT that’s probably not going to lead to a long & meaningful relationship. It’s in women’s best interest to wait and get to know someone before having sex-IF THEY WANT RELATIONSHIP.
I think that sex right away is never a good idea – for women who want a long-term, committed relationship.
If all you want is s-e-x, then fine–do not wait. Women who want a long-term relationship should not have sex right away.
There was no poll taken anywhere that i’m aware off, so no one really knows just how many people like Michelle and how many don’t…
I happen to think Twinkle Twinkle is underdeveloped and mentally challenged child trapped in an adult body.
Michelle might be angry, and rightfully so….You don’t make up rumors for millions of people to watch, just because you think its fun….I doubt Michelle would have even brought that up again if it was true.

When it comes to Reality Steve readers I know I am in the minority, but I still like Kiptyn AND Tenley character’s. Notice I said characters though. I think it is awfully critical and naive to hate someone on this show (Tenley, Michelle, whomever) after RS has shown us how much editing and manipulating is done to create a certain character or storyline. Assuming Tenley and Kiptyn’s characters are accurate they seem out of place on this show or at bachelor reunions. I don’t rate reality tv by how boring a character is… I just enjoyed seeing characters that I could more relate to for a change.
Second, I can’t speak for what Tenley is really like, if she is fake, and I do not like her as much now as I did on the Bachelor, but i still like her. I hate the fact that in order to be a “woman” these days you have to be completely independent and have a “all men are dogs” and “I don’t need a man mentality”. Tenley has all the reason to be bitter towards men, but she still believes in love and I find that admirable. Also, Tenley is probably too emotional, but what ever happened to it being ok for women to be emotional. What do we want a bunch more non emotional men types walking this earth. When Tenley gets emotional at least her heart is in the right place and she is compassionate, which are positive attributes. Finally, I wish more men and women were positive…when did being negative, pessamistic or sarcastic become the norm.
I can just picture Michelle changing all of the “I”‘s in her posts to “Michelle”….

Since so many people need to mention HATE it must mean hate exists in their lives….I don’t have to hate Twinkle to tell you she is mentally challenged, as that is how she projected herself on both shows.
In her plea for the $250K rather than blathering about the perils of her marriage losses again, she could have said I would use the money for some therapy…..She does need it if she is too go forward in her life…
I respect Michelle more than Twinkle Twinkly….She let Jake know what she was there for in a blunt straight way… She also let Twinkle know starting false rumors is not right…She is straight to the point.
Michelle came on the show for Jake much like Vienna did, unlike like Ali and Twinkle clique did to form a girlie group and stab people in the back….Is it any wonder that Ali and Twinkle Twinkly are hang out buddies now?
I also think she is way more attractive and a better body than Twinkle Twinkle has…Gwen is 39 years old and looks way better than Twinkle does…
I pity any man with Twinkle Twinkle….she is a train wreck….Huge therapy needed…..As for Kiptyn i feel sorry for the guy and his relationship with Twinkle Twinkly..I could see him with Ashley.
If Twinkle is so poor she certainly keeps it up indulging her whims with fashion, so her poor thing is just some more please pity me…

I’m glad someone else commented on how stupid her dance was that she did for Jake on the bachelor. I laughed for the rest of the show. She is quite possibly the most annoying woman that exists in the world. Her crying face makes me want to vom. Super glad she didn’t win. Poor Kiptyn.
