Bachelor Pad 2

“Bachelor Pad 2” Recap – 8/15/11 Including a Very Important Message to All Contestants & What is “Twitter Pad?”

Your episode-by-episode spoilers for “Bachelor Pad 2” are in a link at the top of the page, or or click here. You’ve been warned.

Want to first start out this week by sending my deepest regards to Michelle Money and her family after the passing of her father from colon cancer this weekend. I don’t think many people knew her dad was sick until the first episode when she shared it in her hometown video, nor did people probably have a clue how far along he was. I certainly didn’t. But obviously it’s terrible to hear something like that happen and thoughts and prayers go out to her for what they’re going through right now. Can’t be easy. I think with the tragedy she just suffered, plus Graham’s charity “46 NYC,” I don’t see how those two don’t get a majority of the votes at the end of the show over Michael and Holly. Well, Holly at least. Michael definitely has people on his side based on the reaction so far.

Let me say something in regards to all the talk regarding Michael as possibly the next “Bachelor.” There is no doubt the guy will have all of America rooting for him when this sh** show is over. Hell, I’m even rooting for the guy now, but obviously for different reasons. He definitely has a backstory heading in to the “Bachelor” where women will want to see him find love, the finale for BP is on Sept. 12th, and filming for “Bachelor” starts shortly thereafter, so it is possible if they were gonna NOT go with someone from Ashley’s season and try for someone from BP, Michael would be the logical pick. HOWEVER, I just don’t think it’s gonna happen barring Ames, Ryan, or Ben turning it down once it’s offerend to one of them, since it’s gonna be one of those three who get offered it first. Michael would be a great choice, but remember, final casting weekend for the girls was the weekend before “Bachelor Pad” started. Those women hadn’t seen Michael’s story play out before they went for final interviews giving their opinion of who they wanted to see as the “Bachelor.” So although it sucks for Michael fans, I really don’t see him being the next “Bachelor.” Of course I could be wrong, and there could be a 180 done at the last minute, but all signs point to Ames, Ryan, or Ben, with Ben being the clear front runner right now. The official announcement won’t come for a while, but I’m guessing I should know for sure in the next couple weeks.

I think I have a good idea who it’s gonna be based on the things that I’ve heard so far. Granted, I’m not saying it’s official yet because I haven’t been told, but all signs are pointing to one guy. Watch my interview yesterday morning with “Good Morning Texas” and you’ll hear me say who I think it’s probably gonna be.

So I’ve decided to take a little road trip this weekend to Houston. Never been there before, I have a friend whose band is playing in Spring, TX on Saturday night that I’ll be attending, but figured I’d make the drive down Friday afternoon and enjoy a nice weekend in a steaming hot sauna. Good chance I’m gonna be out at the Astros/Giants game Friday night, but afterwards, who knows where I’ll end up. Anyone have suggestions, I’m open for them since, well, I have no idea where I’m going. What the hell. Isn’t that the fun part about it? Being in a city you have no idea about and running rampant? Even if it is 1,000 degrees with 500% humidity? I’ll live. Dallas has basically been over 100 every day since June 1st, although we don’t have quite the humidity that swampy Houston does. Oh well. Looking forward to it anyway. On to last night…

There’s one thing I need to address this season that’s completely different from last season and it’s pretty much doing ABC a disservice to their own show. In case you aren’t following them, pretty much every cast member this season has a Twitter account and they are tweeting throughout the show their thoughts on what’s happening. Well, now we essentially have two different storylines for this show: what we’re seeing on TV and what these people are tweeting during the show. Why? Because basically every one of them is bitching and moaning about something in the edit regarding their “character.” Never before has ABC allowed this. Last season on BP, the contestants weren’t allowed to tweet during the season. And obviously for “Bachelor/ette”, those people aren’t allowed to tweet anything related to the show. Now it’s become an open forum where these contestants are refuting stuff that ABC is showing. Is that really a good idea? Case in point last night, the rose Melissa gave to Blake on their yacht date, when the show made it seem like it was going to Kasey, and when it wasn’t, shows him upset that Melissa betrayed him. Kasey takes to Twitter last night and says he and Melissa talked about it on the yacht, and since he knew he was safe, he was in full agreement to let Melissa give the rose to Blake and had no problem with it. However, the show made it seem the complete opposite. Now the contestants are even exposing the shows editing. It’s great for getting the real story out there, but millions of more people watch the show than follow these people on Twitter.

One of the big storylines last night was Blake playing Melissa and saying a bunch of sh** about her in his ITM’s that he never said to her face. Hey, if that’s how he wants to come across on TV, then so be it. But to see contestants last night running to Twitter to defend themselves, and try and pinpoint every single instance where something that was shown was wrong or taken out of context was pretty high schoolish if you ask me. I checked a lot of their accounts last night, and Blake is answering tweets from people to bash Melissa and calling her crazy, while Melissa is retweeting everyone who’s defending her and calling Blake a jerk. On and on and on it goes. These people care WAAAAAAY too much what people who they don’t even know think of them. Really? You’re going to try and convince everyone to like you and defend yourself from something on TV? Seriously, grow up. Blake, you admitted during the show that your strategy was basically to side with Melissa, someone you didn’t particular have an attraction to but knew that she was attracted to you, in order to advance further in the game. Actually, I applaud that. If you’ve read my take on “Survivor” over the years, I’ve always been about doing what you have to do to advance, no matter who you piss off and lie to. So for that, I have absolutely no problem with Blake’s strategy in the game.

However, I think fans of this show are having a hard time separating the “Bachelor/ette” franchise with the “Bachelor Pad.” This is a COMPLETELY different animal. There’s not some bogus engagement to someone you’ve known six weeks waiting at the end. It’s 250k, which is something pretty much all these people can use. So to get to that end goal, you’re gonna have to lie, backstab, and betray some people. That’s the name of the game. Blake is playing the game at the expense of Melissa. If that’s what he chose to do, then that’s fine. But for Christ sakes, own up to it. Running to Twitter last night and continually calling her crazy, and saying she fell for you after one night is complete chicken sh**. The only thing Blake should be tweeting during these episodes is, “I had a strategy to do whatever I could to advance in the game. That meant using Melissa, and it worked for a short time. I’m sorry for what I did to her, it sucks that I had to do it, but it’s a game, and I wanted $250k.” That’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. But to sit there and STILL trash the woman for falling for you is just being a complete jerk. So she fell for you, and you didn’t want her to. Well, when you play with fire, sometimes you get burned. Your strategy, albeit very smart in this game of “Bachelor Pad,” came with consequences. Deal with it and be a man about it. The guy is completely making himself look like more of an ass by continuing to trash her on Twitter.

Both of these two should just shut up and stop tweeting about what the other said, what the other did, etc. It’s over and done with. I guarantee if one person stops, the other one will. And if they don’t, then it makes them look even worse. Melissa needs to stop retweeting people who are sticking up for her and calling Blake a jerk, and Blake needs to stop acting like a douche and own up to his gameplay. I swear these people are in their own world thinking that they’re not above criticism. If you can’t handle what fans say about you, then don’t go on the show. It goes for every single contestant who appears on any of these shows. If you’re worried about what some fan who has 10 followers says about you in a tweet enough to respond to them to defend yourself, you are a complete moron. Nothing you say will convince them, and if ANYTHING, it’s gonna make them hate on you even more. Are these contestants that insecure that they have to tell people to stop saying mean things about them on Twitter? Really? These are very thin skinned people because it seems like none of them can listen to one negative thing said about them without addressing it. Let it go. The more you feed into the haters, the more they’re gonna keep coming and keep tweeting you and keep on your case. By responding to them, they’re winning. You think being on this show a second, or some even a third time, these people would figure out how this stuff works. Nope. Man, what a bunch of whining, insecure babies who can’t take responsibility for their own actions. I expect it from the newbies who are experiencing this show for the first time, but these are “vets.” They should know better.

Love your recap as always. I agree that it was complete BS for them to suddenly change the rules to keep that douchebag around for another week. Anyway, have fun in H-town. I grew up in Spring! Believe me I don’t miss the humidity! I’d give you some good places to go but I live in Southern CA now and haven’t been back to TX in 4+ years.

“But I think you’re asking a lot a this point. It’s easier to believe with Ben because despite what he says, he wasn’t in love with Ashley. He was in lust with her.”
Oh thank goodness for THIS. I never could understand why he was in love with her. I can’t understand JP being in love with her either, but whatever. Glad it really wasn’t Ben.

Now…I don’t know about Michael. Seems like a nice guy with some integrity (so far) and TBH Holly didn’t seem like she really cared but I can’t see him as the next Bachelor either. Maybe the season after this, but not next season. He seems way to fragile.

So did I miss something? Why did they suddenly decide to vote off either Jackie or Ella, two gals who don’t pose any problems from what I can tell? Wouldn’t it be better to keep them so there is less competition?

I think there must be something in a contract saying they can’t vote the controversial people off until the producers will them to do it. According to the editing (whether fact or fiction) most people know Kasey is quite delusional and Vienna is quite the whining girl. I’ve always thought Jake was passive aggressive and he’s not changing my opinion any time soon. He’s slimy through and through. But Kasey, when one can actually understand his mumbling, is the most delusional person since Suzy on Master Chef. What a yutz he is. Are the two still dating? Yikes…I can’t see it but then again I can’t see any of the three Boobsy Triplets actually meeting people that buy into them. They need to grow up first. Maybe by the time they are in their 40s, they’ll get a clue. Doubtful though.

Any way…from what I’m reading I have to see most of the show with Kasey and Vienna still competing?

I think the most unfortunate thing about this show as well as others is that the people who may not necessarily deserve the $250K are the ones who win it. Nice guys finish last. I guess that’s the way of the world. Sadly. I honestly don’t watch Survivor or The Amazing Race or any of the shows like that. BP is the only show I do watch and that’s mainly so I can ROFL all the time.

But seriously, I would honestly prefer the show with nice people and let the people who need the money and have the most integrity win. Perhaps that’s why I’m not a big hotshot producer and more like a poor schnook struggling to make ends meet.

    A few comments:
    1. I loved William’s comment about Erica’s back looking like a Picasso canvas.
    2. Where was William the rest of the show?
    3. I find Kasey creepy, arrogant, egotistical, idiotic, and annoying.
    4. Kasey’s tattooed wrist-pumping action was disgusting. I wish he was gone.
    5. Kasey (aka Kermit the Frog) sounds like he has a mouth full of marbles. Can anyone understand what he’s saying? My husband and I had to rewind the DVR more than once to figure out what he said, and sometimes we still couldn’t comprehend him.
    6. Vienna needs to chill out.
    7. Jake is fake, but I like him better than Kasey and Vienna.
    8. Blake is gross.
    9. I felt bad for Gia as she was one of my favorites on this show.
    10. I LOVED seeing Ames in his Nantucket reds pants! Awesome!
    11. Poor Michael needs to get over Holly and meet a nice girl who loves him for him. He’s one of my favorites.
    12. I’m sad for Michelle’s loss of her dad.
    13. I’m not happy that Graham betrayed Gia to Kasey. That just was wrong. Like Kasey needed even more of an ego and power trip.
    14. Kasey needs to get over himself with his power trip. He’s the kind of guy who would totally get caught up in becoming the all-powerful leader who represses his detractors and eventually his followers, ala Lord of the Flies.
    15. Kirk (another one of my favorites) seems to be the only sane person left (now that Gia’s gone) who realizes #14 above as he comments about how everyone is following Kasey’s orders.
    16. I’m routing for Michelle and Graham to win the money b/c Michelle is a single mom, and Graham does all that charity work. I’d be fine with Michael getting it, but I’d rather him just find the girl of his dreams instead (not Holly).

Broadcast Geek Question: Why does the TV station in Dallas that interviewed Reality Steve have call letters WFAA? I thought the rules are call letters “K***” for TV stations in Texas and all parts west, and “W***” for TV stations east of the Mississippi?

Oh, I forgot to mention that I loved the segment when Vienna lashed out at Chris Harrison and told him that they made Jake and her do that break-up interview on TV and now they have him in Bachelor Pad 2 without forewarning her. Then Chris telling her she can leave anytime. That was awesome. Then, to see her and Kasey being all smirky, thinking that Jake was going home, until CH dropped the bombshell about all the guys being safe. Vienna’s face was priceless! Then, her trying to stage a walk-out where all the contestants leave b/c changing the rules is cheating. Hilarious! Did she not read her contract? I’m sure it states somewhere in there that the rules can be changed at any point in the game without notice. That’s the way it works. Even though I don’t like Jake and am ready for him to be gone, that was just awesome.

I just wish Jake and Vienna were voted out at the same time and had to get into the same car while jealous Kasey watched them drive off. That would be great- followed by Kasey leaving, of course.

Watching Blake was a real treat. Hardly had much air time with Ashley so getting to see him do his stuff was awesome. Why wouldn’t he play Melissa> She is one major dog. Bet he wiped his mouth after kissing her! She is definitely a pyscho.

Jake is now and always will be a jerk. He can play the sympathy card all he likes, he still comes off as a slime bucket. His smerky grin makes me want to puke! Of course he was kept on the show when it was apparant he was going home Monday! Producers are grinning from ear to ear at his stupidity and poor acting. At least Vienna is for real…says it like it is. Just wish she had simply said “I’m not interested in anything you say or do so PLEASE leave me alone once and for all”. She was too kind to this loser. Needed to hammer him a good one.

Poor Kermit (Kasey)…he needs to see a speech therapist to find out why he has such a poor speaking voice. Know only half of what he is spewing…probably not missing much.

I like Kirk and would have loved to see him as a bachelor. Seems like a decent guy. And Ames is just in love with the idea of love. I picture him skipping through the daisies with someone like…ahhh Jake! What a sap! His slack jawed, open mouth, tooth protruding look is too much to continue viewing!

Okay…Michelle and Graham gotta win the money. Holly is so ugly and skanky looking and Michael is like a widdle itty bitty boy. He needs a mommy to cuddle him and since Holly has a brush burned tush, just not the one he needs.

What ya wanna bet the Blake and Holly thing will crash and burn soon?!

Question: Is Erica Rose on drugs or is she always that flaky looking and sounding! She is an older and slimier version of Vienna! I just hope most of these losers don’t procreate.

I just don’t understand WHY Gia left?? I mean does she not get what the show is about?? It is not about popularity!! It is about 250 grand!! There will be some serious back stabbing over that kind of money!! I would have waited to get voted off!! She may could have won enough competions or got enough roses to ward of eliminations!! CHRIS HARRISON YOU ROCK!!! LOVED it when he told Vienna off!!!!! I cannot stand Vienna and her weird talking boyfriend!! Is he deaf? I have nothing against deaf people at ALL but I am just wondering if that is why he talks like that! I just HATE to see Jake go home before they do!! I seriously think ABC cooked that up with two girls leaving to try to save Jake!!! Hate to see them win this thing!!

Thanks for the recap!! I do not have to watch the show I just read the recaps as I read the spoilers weeks back when you had them. I had to comment on how Blake sure sounds like he whom I never wanted to name again but have to Bentley!!!! While I did not like Blake on Ashley’s season he did seem like a decent gut BUT not now

I know I shouldn’t and agree he’s acting like a total idiot on the show but I like Jake. And I love watching the 3 of them on the show -there won’t be as much drama once he’s gone. I feel sorry for him. I hate Vienna and Kasey didn’t seem agressive at all on Ali’s season – just obsessed so this is a whole new side of him. I thought CH telling Vienna where the door was was AWESOME! Gia leaving made me sad though. Love her. I think Blake’s doing what he can to win the money and I have no problem whatsoever with what he’s doing to Melissa. It was one date – I mean WTF? I don’t remember her but she must have made it far on her season b/c I recognize her. Michael is so sweet – I feel so bad for him. I don’t know these peoples last names but I want to follow them on twitter – help?

I don’t give a dick if they did change the rules. Seeing Vienna try to stage a mutiny against ABC was worth the rigging in my opinion.

And Jake can be as fake as my boobs…..Don’t care. I am Team Jake this year (I know it’s futile – but whatevah). Or maybe I am so anti Kermit/Psycho that I would be in anyone’s corner other than theirs.

Gia should really have known better than going into a 2nd season expecting people to act differently. She may be sweet but she sure seems jaded. I’ve just about had it with Kasey. I don’t know if it’s his association with Vienna or if he just wasn’t focused on much during Ali’s season but that boy sure thinks a lot of himself. In one breath he’s talking about being a good person and playing the game and doing what he needs to do to win and in another he’s calling someone who just did the same a “bad person”. I agree with the RS, play the game to win but don’t pretend any differently or think less of your competitors for doing the same.

Kasey pumping the heart was OTT and Ames’ pants were hideous. I loved Holly’s rose ceremony dress but overall she seems pretty vacant.

Ay yi yi yi yi – please stop with the poor Vienna nonsense – she is playing everybody in the house and I cant believe Steve is buying it. To me she just makes Jake look good which I didnt think was possible. Kasey needs a humility shot.

With all the mumbling on this season, I finally gave up and turned on the closed captioning. And really, we should all be embarrassed for paying any attention to this white trash show. Right on par with Jerry Springer and Jersey Shore. Nice job, ABC, for bringing American TV to a new low.

The egg toss was hard to watch. I wanted to give Erica a big hug after that. :( Ouch.

Steve, please tell me that Kermit and V are no longer together. That would be fantastic.

I cannot believe that V said she was “uncomfortable speaking to Jake” without her pimp. Are you nothing without your man? She screams INSECURE.

Holly & Michael…. So sweet and so sad :(

I’m glad we all loved CH telling V that he was “happy to call her a cab.” THAT WAS AWESOME. I wish she would have taken him up on it.

Sad that Jackie & Ames broke up…. It was pretty cute when he said in the limo that they had won. :)

Steve, I enjoy the word “canoodling” as well. :)

Sad that Gia left. Honey, you were being sneaky too… Hate to break it to you.

The masked guy from Ashley’s season making the paint omelette was pretty good.

your quote re: Holly: “Blake is new and exciting. Like a shiny object that distracts her momentarily. She’s had quite a few of those in the “Bachelor” franchise, hasn’t she? Ok, lets be honest, the biggest reason I’d want to see Michael as the “Bachelor” is because it would drive Holly nuts”..

Really happy with that ^ and I agree COMPLETELY. However if Mike were Bach, I am pretty sure this scabby trollop would attempt to manipulate whatever shred of dignity he has left out of him. One day he will look back on this skank as a youthful mistake, but doing the bachelor may be too soon to get the insight he so dearly needs. If she had any humanity, she would not be fooling around in front of him and the cameras with that loser Blake. I get not wanting to marry someone, but there is no reason to hurt them like that.

So this season has the most interest crop of potentials: Micheal, and the most interesting, chill odd balls Ben and Ames. Ryan is a big no, cheesy tool? been there , done that.

P.S boy, Kasey is kind of creepy and loser-ish. I wonder if he knows the writers put him in the position he is in- a tool to further squash fake Jake. IN reality he is a wuss somehow over empowered by the BP2 script. now he is back to reality with Vienna ordering him around while she probably is banging his family and friends. I now going into it is he has this stupid sincere “protector” character from Bach’ette, but now he makes my skin crawl.

Ok here is may jaded theory after reading this AM on the internets that Ames broke up with Jackie 2 weeks after they left the show. I think he started to see his popularity take off from the the bach, hear his name floated around as the next Bach, and cut her lose.

    1. What Blake did was awesome. He’s playing the game. If you don’t like the way he’s doing it, look in the mirror and ask if someone ever played you. The answer is probably “yes.”
    2. Melissa is nuts. Having had to repair her perception after Brad’s season, you’d think she would have learned to not go overboard emotionally. How does the saying go? “You can take someone out of the ghetto…”
    3. Oh, Gia, why must you be so stupid..?
    4. Kasey is the kind of guy who’s taken a bunch of crap all his life for that stupid way he talks. Now, he’s hit the gym and he’s finally ready to stand up for himself. Trouble is, he’s still that dork who took a lot of crap for that stupid way he talks. Two words, Kasey: Speech Therapy
    5. Are Ames’s upper teeth ALWAYS visible…?
    6. By the way, Melissa, when you kiss someone, it helps to use your hands too. When they lie there like a dead fish, that probably means you’re not into it, or don’t know how to kiss.
    7. Vienna. You may have gotten a nose job, but you still have “googly eyes.” Better fix that before you end up in a carnival…

    I’m jus sayin’…

Did anyone notice that while Melissa was having her breakdown over Blake and Holly, Holly was right there with all of the other ladies comforting Melissa? You know the show has bad editing when they neglect to take the other woman (half the cause of Melissa’s grief) out of the picture!

Ames and Jackie were a figment of Ames’ imagination. He is totally a dork…would fall in love with a broom if it swept over to him! He is such a poor bumbkin and nothing he does is endearing…just strange. A season of watching his huge teeth on full display would be beyond awful! SHUT YOUR MOUTH AMES…PLEASE.

Doesn’t seem to be a mean spirited individual and probably would lavish loads of affection on a woman…if he could find a woman just like himself.

I bet Ryan will cry buckets if he is not chosen as Bachelor. After all, he purchased 3 books on how to carry on a relationship AND keeps a journal! Wow! No wonder he is alone! Plus his sobby audition for Bachelor when Ashley dumped him was worth an academy award. Blake was right to call him out on it at the MTA…waaay over the top for someone who couldn’t get through a single date after waiting forever and had like zero time with Ashley. Ryan is a drama queen. So by default…looks like Ben gets the nod..unless Jennifer has something to say about it!

Why should I care about Holly Durst? She didn’t exactly distinguish herself on Matt Grant’s season, starts hanging out with Deanna, opens a twitter account, and now she is the town slut.

I didn’t know Jake was $200,000 in debt.

While I do agree with RS about Jake being a huge phony, I think Vienna is as big a phony as Jake is, if not more. Which is probably why they didn’t work out as a couple, they couldn’t fake their way through any sort of relationship and a faker usually recognizes their own kind. I can’t stand either one of them and would be SO happy if I never saw Jake OR Vienna on my TV again. I can’t even watch BP anymore, I tried watching again last night and it is just so vapid and unspeakably sickening that it isn’t even funny anymore. Between Jake, Vienna and that other idiot Kasey, they are making the show unbearable. Without them, maybe I could watch – I actually liked laughing at it last year. I can’t understand a single word Kasey says and his “power trip” is pathetic – all three of them are acting like junior high school and nothing about watching them is funny – just sad and pathetic. I will just read RS’s recaps for the laughs but I am done with BP for the season and I will take back that hour of my life for a good book or something.

Oh Steve… I get that you don’t like Jake, but Oy… really? How have your keen powers of observation skipped so very lightly over Vienna? (and to be clear… I am *not* a Jake fan… poor, sad, insecure creature that he is) Still… Vienna has me actually considering rooting for the guy. It’s been *how* long now? Get *over* it already! She arrived with every other word out of her mouth being Jake. Half the time she can’t even remember Kasey’s name and just calls him her boyfriend. If America was sick of hearing Ashley say Bentley’s name surely the entire world is sick of hearing Vienna use the J word. No one else in the building is allowed to breathe without Vienna jumping in with some version of, “I’m sorry, are we not focusing on me and how terrified I am, rolling my eyes like a panicked calf?” Steve I love your no-one is safe commentary, and it’s spot-on often enough for me to keep coming back… but you’re letting your disgust with Jake blind you to Vienna’s equally ridiculous behavior… and that goes all the way back to their interview. Speaking of contradictions… she’s been saying she broke up with Jake with a friend sitting in the room with her, and then told CH she was forced to do the break-up on tv. Which one was it? And btw, we are all aware of Jake’s bad behavior (to put it overly mildly, but a re-cap is hardly the point)… but does that mean she gets a free pass on running sobbing out of the room like that? This girl announced at the very beginning of the Jake fiasco season that she is a spoiled princess… and that’s exactly who she has shown herself to be. She wants what she wants and if she doesn’t get it, she thinks batting her eyelashes, painting a huge victim sign on her forehead and demanding sympathy, throwing a five alarm fit, and/or crying for *ever* about how horribly she’s being treated are perfectly acceptable methods of getting what she wants. I mean, if you really think that’s okay, Steve, by all means keep riding the poor Vienna train… but all I can say is… Ew. … that and I miss the equal-opportunity Steve that can see *everyone’s* bs. I could not care less if Jake gets closure or not for his sake, but Good God Almighty someone better shove some good old fashioned closure at Vienna, because she doesn’t deserve an un-ending ride on the poor, pitiful, terrified victim train anymore than Jake deserves closure.

With all the mascullar in this station, j’ gave passed for in top and gave closed return on subtitular. AND really, we must certainly all be embarrassed to pass any interest to this light demonstration of the refuse. best suited with what is saltador of Jerry and the edge of Pullover. admirable work, ABC, to bring American television to a new low point of the manufacturer. http://www.peuytrghj.com/

Just read a very interesting and enlightening blog Blake Julian wrote about Bachelor Pad 2. He is one smart cookie. Definitely would make a super bachelor. Very attractive.

Yup Dianne, very serious about Ames. Nice guy but socially inept. 2 weeks with Jackie and it ends! Needs kissing lessons too. He’d be dull as Bachelor, but I know you’ll disagree and you have that right just as I have a right to express my opinion.

Ames (JMHO), isn’t a “bumpkin”. He’s highly educated, has a good job (or at least he did before all these tv shows! lol, and his family seems amazing.

I’m sorry that Ames and Jackie broke up, but I would love it, if he was the next Bachelor!

For anyone who cares, I am sooo Team Jake now. Never in a million years would I think I would’ve left Team Vienna, but she just seems ungracious and rude on BP2. Get over it girl.

It is a very tough competition, but it is possible in this show Jake is less repulsive than Vienna. After his behavior on the Break Up Show, I did not think it was possible. He is still very, very swarmy. Kasey while vile, if dwarfed by the two, yet still a festering nether- region boil on my TV.

    Steve,

Any idea who the Bachelorette will be after Ben’s season? Seems this whole spoiler thing is getting pretty easy for you. I thought maybe I’d offer up something a bit more challenging for your excellency. Yes, yes, we know, for the trillionth time, EMILY will not be the next Bachelorette. As you reveal the contestants for Ben’s season maybe you can post odds, accept fan votes, I don’t know, just something to consider… But really, who is the new Bacheoloette going to be? Why you holding out on us! C’mon Houdini…
