Emily in England, More Pics from Bermuda, and More Confirmed Contestants

What a crazy 24 hours to say the least. I was supposed to head back to Texas yesterday, but as you know, major tornadoes hit close to DFW and a lot of damage was done, so all flights back yesterday were cancelled. I tried re-booking to fly back today, and there were no flights available, so, I’ll be heading back tomorrow. Fortunately I spoke to my father, and where I live, there wasn’t much damage. Just rained real hard and had some hail. Maddie is fine and I can’t wait to get back to see her tomorrow.

As for what’s going on with the show, since I’ve been in CA, I haven’t really been all over things like I should be. Haven’t been able to check emails at all times and have just kinda been enjoying myself out here and not thinking about this show 24/7. Here’s what I can update you on after I finally got caught up on some emails and phone calls this morning while I had some time. Last Friday I tweeted that “The Bachelorette was leaving Bermuda and headed to Toronto.” Initially I thought that’s where they were filming, but since Toronto wasn’t one of the places I heard they were going in the beginning of the season, I was a little leery, which is why I never specifically said they were filming in Toronto. I just said they were headed there. Which they did. But Toronto is a major international airport, and as I suspected, they flew through Toronto and headed overseas, where they are now in England. I got an email yesterday from an anonymous person (I don’t know why people email me under anonymous names and fake email addresses), that sent me this link to a group date filmed yesterday in Stratford, England. According to this blog, looks like they were re-creating a “Romeo and Juliet” scene. I’m sure the guys loved that:

So credit to this lady for taking a picture and posting it on her blog, whoever you are. Although, you can’t really make out who many of the guys are since it’s so far away, but according to her blog post, she said she’d be posting more pictures soon. It’s funny, this person who lives over there probably has no idea what she just stumbled upon by posting that picture. Looks like her blog started two months ago since it barely has any content whatsoever. Also doesn’t look like it gets much traffic either and will now get thousands of hits, probably freaking her out. You’re welcome. Whoever you are.

The other thing I’ve been notified of is that I know that they have been in Leeds, England as well. Don’t know if it’s because they’re staying there, or it was for a date or what, but I know they have been in Leeds at some point.

  1. Steve, so, so glad all is good at home..and that Maddie is fine also. Here’s hoping you get home safe tomorrow!

  2. Well, it’s snowing in Leeds at the moment, so I’d expect lots of indoor dates. Definitely not the best time to visit the north of England, weather wise anyway.

  3. Ha! I was going to comment that Emily must have said 6 packs only need apply..LOL

  4. Yeah. She may covet six-packs but I’m guessing she’ll pick six-packs with deep pockets (and not pockets for holding muscles.) Seems to be the way she rolls. Not trying to be mean but by the end of Brad’s season, I actually found her to be a bit annoying. I suppose the good news is she’s not there to flog wine. :)

  5. Less work for you? What is it you do anyway with all your spare time since you don’t work? Maybe if you got a job you wouldn’t be bothering the public for donations. I’m thinking there are a lot of people in Texas right now that could use those donations…

  6. @ Dianne and debora – Couldn’t agree with y’all more! Why people come here and hate on Steve is so annoying! I am in DFW like Steve, luckily I wasn’t effected and same with all my friends and family. Just because something happens like a tornado doesn’t mean Steve’s situation blew away with it! (I bet he wished it did) I gave to Steve and I will give to my fellow North Texans. And if aatxcutie is a Texan too as her screen name leads me to believe then she should donate to the Tornado Relief as well, if not she has no room to talk!

  7. Hi JovisMom..so glad to know you and your friends and family are all safe and sound!

  8. @aatxcutie: You know I’m in agreement with you! I’ve noticed two very interesting things since the “Donate Now” button arrived on this site….

    1) Steve’s “inside info” seems to be derived from other public sources, as indicated by his linking a different website in this article. Makes one think his sources aren’t quite as willing to disclose the good these days.

    2) His “workload” seems to have tapered off. Sure, we are between seasons and there is less to report on. However, there is plenty going on with the lawsuit, public opinion of the matter, and discussions on this site. Steve could make an effort to write something twice a week, but lately it’s been more of the “no column tomorrow, not much to write about this week.” Dude….begging for donations then in turn producing less work sure seems counter productive to me.

…. take it away, ass kissers.

    1. Because we can. And we will continue.
    2. The correct word is “affected”, not “effected”.
    3. Giving to those “affected” by a storm = smart AND considerate. Giving to RS for his legal defense while he travels more and works less = stupid AND a waste.
    4. Aatxcutie doesn’t need you to dictate if or how she should donate her money. Based on her comments, I gather she has a level of intelligence far superior to that of many posters on this site. ~ I’m sure the “Cammie and Aatxcutie must be one and the same person” comments will start ANY moment now. ~ No, but thanks for the compliment. :)

    That is all.

  10. @ Dianne – (ignoring childish comments today ;-) )Thanks!! Tuesday was a crazy day indeed!! I didn’t get much of anything where I am, not even that much rain. All around us got pounded though, Lancaster, Forney, and Arlington the worst (My boyfriend lives and works in Arlington and he was fine, thank God!). They were showing clips of semi trucks be blown around like toy cars! It was eerie! Thankfully NO ONE was killed and only a few injuried, and even though injuries weren’t that bad!

  11. Looking forward to Emily’s season beginning! Until then, CMT has a new reality show premiering this Sat. night, April 7th at 10 PM ET/CT on CMT called Southern Nights. It includes 10 former contestants from their hit Sweet Home Alabama TV show, all living in Savannah, Georgia. Kinda like Bachelor Pad (except no competitions for money)/ Real World/ Jersey Shore (except classier). A lot of former Bachelor/ette contestants follow former Sweet Home Alabama contestants on Twitter (Wes Hayden, Jesse Czincac, and some others).

  12. Dianne and Jovis (a.k.a. Steve Stalkers), not that it is any business of yours, but I was working with 170+ of my co-workers in Dallas to help clean the debris in Forney, hardest hit area in the Metroplex, provide food and water, and even replacement clothes for the children. I’m not Cammie, but I absolutely respect her and love her comments. If you want to spend your days sitting around this blog and timing who posts what and when, you’re more pathetic that originally thought.

My airline in DFW was hit hard by the storms, but they still allowed and even encouraged us to go out and help the people in our community. I’m sure Steve was probably even flying my airline (American) back from California, and we managed to even get him safely back home. There, that is my donation!

  13. aatxcutie and cammie99:
You DO appear to be one in the same by your writing style. It looks to me like your full time job is posting hate on RS’s site. Please, get a life… Your lack of intelligence is showing.
