What to Expect Tomorrow Night…

July 8th, 2012 | 172 Comments | Posted in The Bachelorette 8 - Emily

Sorry for no recap on Tuesday. I wanted to get you those spoilers first, and the plan was to write the recap on my flight to LA. Well unfortunately, a 6’5″ 350 lb man was in the middle seat of my flight, and it was physically impossible to bust out the laptop and type without knocking him in the arm all flight. Those 2.5 hours were uncomfortable enough as it was for the both of us already, asking him to give me space to type on a laptop was out of the question. I fly home tomorrow morning, so the plan is to not give a full recap of last Monday’s episode, but just my thoughts on last week since I’ll only have two hours on the plane, then the show starts a few hours after I land. But I still have my notes with me and I’ll let you know when it’s posted.

As for tomorrow night’s episode, here are the basics you need to know:

-Arie is the one that is not a offered a fantasy suite card. His date ends during dinner. Emily chooses not to offer him the date card because she “doesn’t trust herself.”

-Sean and Jef both are offered overnight date cards, and both accept. The offer of the date card is just a way to extend the date longer, but neither of them spend the night with her. At least not that we see on camera.

-Sean is eliminated at the rose ceremony. Arie and Jef are her final two.

If/When I get more “Men Tell All” information, I will let you know..

  1. I agree that she is very pretty and would be much prettier w/out the fake giant choppers and heavy make up. She was a natural beauty that now looks processed.

  2. I completely agree w\ you on that one Liz. When I first saw her get out of the limo on Brad’s season I thought Wow! She is really pretty!!! She does need to tone down the make up and maybe put some low lights (Kasey31) in that hair of her’s to make it look more natural but I would not call her deformed.

  3. @Liz:

She’s an attractive woman, I’ll give you that one. But I wouldn’t go so far as saying she’s the best looking woman ever, nor is she the most attractive who has been on the show. There are others I found far more attractive, and a lot less fake.

  4. @nobody1, but you just said she looks “deformed”. How can you got from that to saying “she’s an attractive woman”? HUH?

  5. Well honestly her forehead does look “off” from all the botox. It looks like a windshield. I find it to be a huge contradiction that someone who wants to set a good example for her daughter is doing so w/ big fake teeth, fake hair, fake boobs, and loads of botox (at the ripe old age of 26). That is exactly the kind of things I want to make a priority for my daughter…sorry honey, I can’t pick you up because I am still healing from my new boobs… why doesn’t my mommy’s forehead move? Why are your eyes black and blue… why is your nose different….

  6. @Liz:
She does have a big forehead…. My wife even says she looks strange. Calling her deformed was a bit strong, though; I’ll admit that. Its me just being mean and pushing buttons ;)

  7. She was holding her boobs both times she jumped in the water. I had a friend with a fresh boob job who always did that.

As for Mike Fleiss, I saw him tweeting yesterday and the only thing I could think of was that he was trying to make a big deal about the spoilers so that everyone would think RS really spoiled the ending, when maybe the ending is different than what we all think it is.

  8. @needabachintervention

quit nitpicking so I guess fake teeth are pearly white and straight??? I guess you’d rather have a girl have yellow crooked teeth … nice to know. She’s hotter than your average woman get over it.

    @nobody1

No one is perfect and I bet I can find a million more things wrong with you and your wife than I can with emily she’s gorgeous and its not my fault your wife can’t compare to her.

  9. You people are a tough crowd. Good God, I’d hate to be judged by you all!!! Leave the woman be. You talk about her like she’s a little troll. Nobody is perfect. Usually the most critical people are the farthest from perfect!

  10. @joe miller: my point is / was that Emily was a really pretty girl before all the processing. The high school year book photo of her posted showed she was very pretty before the new nose, boobs, teeth, heavy make up, botox and hair color. She went from having nice teeth to the teeth Matt Dillion got in ” Somthing About Mary”. Her nose was fine too. She had pretty, natural hair and was not caked in make up and an orange spray tan. She still is very pretty but instead of being a natural beauty she looks pretty fake. And I find it hypocritical to talk about setting examples for your child on one hand and then this is the example that you are setting about your appearance (when you were very pretty to begin with). In the very near future, her daughter will be able to read about and see the before and after pictures of her mommy. Just sayin’…I don’t think she is the Mother Theresa Barbie some folks make her out to be. She still is very pretty now but in a much more processed way.

  11. @needabachintervention

She did look good before nothing wrong with being “fake” doesn’t make her any less of a person. She’s a fantastic person and will make a good wife to which ever man she chooses to be her husband and that’s all that matters.

    @liz123

I agree with you all these people are being way to judgmental it would be nice to tear them apart too based on their image.

  12. I actually thought Chantal was prettier than Emily until she got fat. Chantal had a younger more natural fresh look. Emily looked like a 45 year old woman next to Chantal.

  13. “She’s a fantastic person”. Do you know her? How do you know she is a fantastic perso?. LOL I am sure she is nice enough but none of us really know what she is like, what one F Jef is like or anyone else on that show for that matter. You know what the producers of a tv show what you to know about her. How on Earth can any of us know what kind of wife she would make based on a tv show. I have a hard time taking any man seriously that can say they are in love with a woman that they have spent maybe 3 dates with. If you are going on a booze, hot tubbing, exotic location dating show to find your husband or wife you will hear thoughts from the peanut gallery. It is not like these people are curing cancer. Most end up on the hook up pad.

  14. Umm she has a daughter and is a single parent, she has no criminal record (I looked). Who cares she deserves to act the way she does because she’s hot and deserves a good looking dude to match her. It is possible to fall in love fast there’s a thing called high school sweethearts and they do work and the two eventually get married.

  15. Emily is very pretty but she looks like someone’s 45 year old hot mom. Her body is not as good as her face. She wears too much make up and makes herself look plastic and fake sometimes. There are women way more attractive then she is. If I were a guy I would find someone like Jennifer Aniston more overall attractive than Emily. And as I said before Chantal was prettier than Emily in my opinion.

  16. I think MF has set you up Steve; I think you’ve been betrayed by your sources. That’s what the tweets are about. He’s one mad dude.

Your spoiler that 1F is the final guy has been quoted all over the net, and now everyone assumes he will be the winner. This makes people see what they want to see in the episodes, and be blind to every thing which contradicts that. MF is actually quite pleased with the leak because he has pulled off a surprise ending this way. It’s going to create quite a controversy when everyone finds out that Emily actually picks Arie.

This franchise thrives on fooling people, on hyping the relationships with the also-rans so that the choice seems more confusing and difficult than it really is.

The show has been tearing Arie down as a womanizer, but the evidence on that is pretty flimsy. The relationship with the producer was a tempest in a teapot — or, much ado about nothing, as per Shakespeare.

Similarly, the relationship with 1F has been built up beyond the reality.

When you really look at this past episode, you see that Emily’s relationship with 1F is more like that of friends than that of lovers. Their relationship is so chaste as to be sex-less (did you see the look on her face when he didn’t leap at the opportunity of spending the night with her? A girl wants to be wanted, and he has never sent her the right signals).

Arie, contrary to what you see and many others see, is actually a very sweet, very mellow guy. He is very loving and supportive and funny with Emily. And he is also very serious about her; their connection has been there from the get-go. Unlike any of the other pairings, they have worked through their issues — she got mad at him wrt Kalon because, as she later told him, she held him to a higher standard than the others. When they were in the water, he protected her, something she reacted to very strongly — proclaiming this to be evidence of his suitability as a father, and also, seeing him as her protector. I don’t think 1F could even begin to compare on those grounds.

What doesn’t translate through the tv screen is that the Dutch generally (and I believe Arie specifically) are culturally very family-oriented. He’s a family guy, not the player you seem to paint him as.

I’ve watched people a long, long time, and I will be shocked if Emily picks 1F as you predict. Everything I’ve seen to date makes the case for Arie.

Guess we’ll have to wait until the 22nd, which is just what MF wants.

  17. I think Emily regrets sending Sean home. I want him to come back and fight for her if he loves her, she’s worth it. Please bring him back during the week.

  18. @Evie:

We have more than our fare share of gold digging celebrity wanna-be’s here in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. They’re better looking too.

Sean dodged a bullet…. he won’t have to worry about her sucking his account dry with all her future plastic surgeries.

  19. TOTALLY agree with @franka
saw the tweets from MF and started to feel like they were tweeted to set us all up into thinking RS spoiled it. I believe there is something bigger and better going on and I can’t wait to find out.

  20. Did anyone just see the newest spoiler about the final 2? It was on my internet homepage, not sure what to make of it.

That Emily’s chosen one gets cold feet and leaves, so the runner up is the one that got down on his knees and proposed.

  21. @afajam:

“I believe there is something bigger and better going on and I can’t wait to find out.”

If this is what you feel after reading the Twitter posts from the twisted mind of Fleiss, then he has won again. Everything he says and does is solely for the purpose of attracting attention to his boring ass, stupidly scripted show.

MF and his producers could care less about anything but viewership. They will throw anything out there, no matter how ridiculous, if it means one more person takes notice and tunes in. Apparently they have you reeled in as well.
