A lot of things to get to before the recap, which is substantially shorter than most recaps. Why? There just wasn’t much last night really. Three solo dates, no drama, and no overnight stays. Kinda boring. However, I do reference a few things that happened last week during the hometowns since it wasn’t covered. Basically on the flight home yesterday, I started to write the column and realized that I had no interest in writing 10 pages of stuff on an episode that happened now 7 days ago. I’ve always prided myself and my website on having a column up the next day, because people don’t want to wait around to read something they saw the night before. And I think in 9 years of writing this column, last week was only the 2nd time that I didn’t have a column up the next day. I would’ve if the large individual wasn’t in the middle seat on the flight out, but sh*t happens, and once I landed, I just never got around to writing it. My apologies.
Last week I mentioned that I had removed all the “Burning Love” videos from the site so that should be the end of the Crackle ads. Uhhhh, I was wrong. Apparently they’re still there. My webmaster is still trying to figure out what’s causing them and where they are coming from, but we’ve had no luck thus far. It is not a revenue ad, I don’t make any money off them, I have no idea where they originate from or how they’re appearing on my site. Kinda frustrating since I’ve gotten a few more emails in the last week saying they’re still around. Just know we’re doing our best to try and get rid of them but right now, we’re kinda clueless. I’m not the least bit technologically advanced when it comes to this stuff, and even when I googled Crackle, there isn’t much out there. So yes, I know they’re still occasionally appearing and just know we’re trying to fix it.
As for the “Men Tell All” taping from Sunday, there wasn’t much drama since it was pretty much ruined by the guys there tweeting pictures with Sean that he was the one eliminated last night, but here are some of the basics from the show that I’ve learned, along with some information WetPaint.com reported.
-The four guys called up in the hot seat were Kalon, Ryan, Sean, and Chris. Basically Kalon still walks around like his sh** doesn’t stink and he’s not well liked. Emily’s confrontation with him was quite tense, Kalon apologized, but she didn’t buy it. And neither did anyone else.
-The catfight being tweeted about was between Ryan and Chris. Neither of them like each other and went at it a bit. Chris called him out for not being there for the right reasons.
-When Chris was on the hot seat is when he cried, but admitted that his emotions on the show had a lot to do with the fact that he lost a good friend in a car accident shortly before he left for filming.
-There were a lot of jokes made during the taping regarding the silly “Emily and Chris Harrison are together” rumors. Kind of a running joke throughout the show.
-Sean and Emily had a civil talk and I guess she still never gave him a clear answer, but he did acknowledge her and handled it with class.
-Ryan claims he was misunderstood and a lot of the guys seemed to come to his defense. Not sure if that was all for show or if they really like the guy, but he seems to be over it all. And oh yeah, he tweeted last night that he was going to Boa in Hollywood because, you know, he wanted to make sure as many people joined him as possible. Definitely seems like Ryan has been bit by the bug, no doubt.
Once the previews for the finale aired at the end of last night’s show, I knew quite a few of you would be emailing me saying something to the effect of, “Are you sure your spoilers are right?,” or, “What’s with the previews? Doesn’t seem like Emily chose anybody,” or, “Looks like she’s gonna make her decision on the live AFR show.” If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it 1,000 times regarding this show. How many times do the previews for upcoming episodes have to lie or manipulate you before you stop believing what’s in them? Hell, it’s already happened three times this season. They’re showing you what they want you to see to cast doubt in your mind. I stand by the information I was given and what I said last Tuesday and that’s that Emily and Jef left Curacao as an engaged couple. Period. End of story. What they showed in the previews doesn’t concern me. They’re just hyping their finale, that’s all. What’s gonna happen on the live finale? No idea. I can’t predict the future. All I can tell is what’s already been filmed and that’s her getting engaged to Jef in Curacao.
Now, lets get to this Mike Fleiss twitter stuff. I’m sure plenty of you are aware of what he went on and on and on about tweeting yesterday. If not, there’s too much to copy and paste, so you’ll just have to go look for yourselves. My response, as it was yesterday, is I have no idea what he’s doing or what he’s talking about. Let the record be clear, I have not violated the settlement agreement, nor do I have any intention in doing so. I don’t need to. I continue to successfully spoil the show legally and he doesn’t seem to like it, so he tweeted incessantly about it on Saturday then again yesterday. I don’t know why he did it, I don’t know his motivations, and I don’t care. Let him continue to tweet as much as he wants, whatever he wants. All it’s doing is bringing more attention to my site, my spoilers, and the ruined ending of the show. Honestly, I’m shocked he’s taking that much time to acknowledge what’s out there, his thoughts on spoilers, and call me names, etc. No need to stoop to his level. He sent out over 30 tweets yesterday, responded to people calling him out, re-tweeted people in support of him, told one lady to go eat a salad, and I sent out one tweet saying I don’t know what he’s talking about. Yeah, I had some fun with him on Saturday, but it certainly wasn’t anything close to the level he attacked me for yesterday. I’m done with this back and forth stuff. It’s pointless. I have no idea what he’s talking about, so there’s nothing to address.
