-The last 30-45 minutes of every episode is always revolving around the cocktail party and scheming going on. Let me break it down for you as easy as I can. There are two alliances going right now. They are: Michael & Rachel, Ed & Jaclyn, Chris & Blakeley, Kalon & Lindzi vs. Erica, Jamie, Sarah, Donna, David, Reid, Nick, and Tony. So if everyone voted along alliance lines, Michael’s alliance would have 4 votes vs Donna and the other alliance would have 4 votes vs Blakeley, forcing a tie, which would be decided by David since he won the challenge, and he’s obviously get rid of Blakeley. However, Tony switched alliances to keep Blakeley around, making it 5 votes to 3, with Donna leaving and Blakeley staying.
-The other vote got a little tricky. For the third consecutive episode, Reid was 100% convinced that his alliance would win out and the person he expected to go home would. And for the third consecutive episode, Reid was wrong. It was actually getting comical last night watching it happen yet again. Needless to say, Reid is the worst schemer this show has ever seen and it’s really not even close. With Ed already having one vote against him, Reid figured if the girls in his alliance voted against Ed (Erica, Jamie, Sarah, and Donna), that’d be 5 votes and enough to send him home. However, Sarah told Ed about Reid’s plan, and it blew up in his face, and she ended up switching her vote to Reid. So Ed only had 4 votes against him (Erica, Jamie, Donna, and the vote for losing the challenge). Michaels female alliance (Jaclyn, Blakeley, Lindzi, and Rachel), along with Sarah who flopped, each voted Reid, giving him 5 votes and he was gone. According to Chris, “in the closest Bachelor Pad vote yet.” Chris, you’re acting like this is American Idol, 40 million people voted in the finale and 20,000,001 voted for one person, and the other person got 19,999,999 votes. For Christ sakes, it was a 5-4 vote. Quit over dramatizing the voting process on “Bachelor Pad.” I’m sure we can figure it out.
-Michael’s power alliance prevails, Reid and Donna are gone, and Jaclyn has a humungous black and blue bruise on her leg from either taking a header when she was drunk, or Ed slammed her against the bedpost. I’ll guess the latter. Next week, we already see Chris the Arrogant move on to woman #3 in the house as he preys on Sarah and gives her whatever disease Jamie and/or Blakeley was carrying. Fun times all around in the “Bachelor Pad” house.
