Pretty eventful day yesterday, huh? For 24 seasons, ABC has been very hush hush about their contestants and doesn’t release their head shots and bios until a few weeks after the season has completed filming. So for “Bachelor” seasons (which film from September to November), they don’t release the girls names and photos until the earliest December. Twenty four consecutive seasons they’ve waited until after filming was complete to make their announcements. Uhhhh, not anymore. This year they just decided, “Eh, lets just do it three months earlier than we usually do.” Translation: Reality Steve is going to get most of them out there anyway like he has for the last few seasons, so if you can’t beat em’, join em’. Thanks guys. I appreciate it. So kind of you.
Here’s what makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Despite what may seem to be the contrary, this show does it’s best to keep as much about production under wraps. Well, with the advent of Twitter and Facebook now, and everyone and their mother in possession of a camera phone, it’s really hard for them to not have pictures floating around out there during production. And granted, in the past, there have been pictures that I’ve received where I’ve been given shots of production, but I can’t identify everyone in the picture because I don’t know who they are yet. Well ABC just threw that completely out the window by showing us all (well, ALMOST all) of Sean’s girls the day after production on the show starts. So now anytime someone on Twitter posts a picture from seeing this show being filmed, everyone will know exactly who Sean is on the date with, whether it’s a group date or solo, since we know who all the girls are now. Outstanding. Just made my job that much easier, ABC. I appreciate it. Thanks for the help.
So yesterday, the press release came out officially announcing Sean as the Bachelor, which we already knew. Then they surprisingly put up photos of the women on their site. They have pictures of 24 women currently on the site, but “Leslie” is pictured twice. The second “Leslie” is Lesley Murphy, a girl I confirmed yesterday. If you go to Zap2it.com, you’ll see that they have Lesley Murphy’s photo in there proving she’s on the show.
So 24 women, and one is missing. That 25th woman is Paige Vigil from “Bachelor Pad 3.” I don’t know why they didn’t post her photo yesterday. I guess they’re trying to be sneaky or something. Well, that’s not the only thing they’re trying to sneak by you. Exclusive to RealitySteve.com, I can now tell you there is a 26TH woman competing for Sean’s heart this season, and she arrived on the first night after all 25 girls had been introduced. Who is it? None other than this girl…
