Ahhhhh, back in the saddle again. For those of you who haven’t bothered to check back here since the last episode of “Bachelor Pad” ended, welcome back. You sure missed a lot. But no worries, I’ll get you caught up. It’s been quite a last interesting month to say the least having to deal with another lawsuit, but hey, I guess I’ll take it as a compliment. As far as I know, with over 200 reality shows currently on television airing on numerous different channels, I’m the only blogger out there who’s being sued for spoiling one. Just think about that. Tons of reality shows on tons of different networks, tons of people who write about stuff they know is going on behind-the-scenes and plenty of spoiler sites, yet I’m the only one being sued for it. I’m flattered to be hated so much by one show. Thanks guys. If you want my thoughts on the lawsuit, scroll down to the post under this one where I give my thoughts. I’ve made it pretty clear what I think about all this.
With that said, nothing on the site is gonna change. In fact, good news to report today, I’m actually going to stick to a schedule this season that will have a MINIMUM of three columns a week. Yes, you heard me correctly. The guy who wrote maybe 3 columns all of December will now be coming to you three times a week. Here’s the schedule:
Tuesday: “Bachelor” recap
Wednesday: “Reader Emails” & any other show related news
Thursday (morning): “Dr. Reality Steve” & other news
Thursday (night): Live video blog
So get all your emails in at email@example.com. Tomorrow’s column has quite a few from the month of December that I never got to, plus whatever has come in this month. “Dr. Reality Steve” is kinda light right now, so for all your love/sex/relationship queries, feel free to ask me.
For those just coming here today because you just want to skip to the end and find out what happens this season, you can find your spoilers clicking this link, or by navigating at the top of the page by going to “Spoilers,” then “The Bachelor,” then “Bachelor Sean Spoilers.” You’ll notice one minor correction in the spoilers that in Episode 4, I originally had Catherine getting the 1-on-1 date at Joshua Tree. It’s actually Selma who gets that date, meaning Catherine doesn’t get her first 1-on-1 date until Canada when they visit an ice house together. Something clearly shown during the previews last night.
So one of the producers actually decided to respond to someone who said they had read the spoilers. Probably not a smart thing to do since now, I’m gonna basically hold him to it. Here was the exchange three days ago between Producer Robert Mills and a fan:
“@AliLaPreze : AHHH I am so mad!! I just came across the spoiler by accident of who wins Bachelor! @Millsy11374 say it isn’t so so I can be surprised! 🙁 ”
“@Millsy11374 : @AliLaPreze all I can say is dont believe everything you read”
Really? Don’t believe everything you read? So when this season plays out exactly like the spoilers say, am I allowed to call out “Millsy” for lying to twitter followers? Dude, it’s best you just don’t respond to people like that because now you’re flat out lying to her. At least if you don’t say anything, it casts some doubt. But when she says she read who the winner is and you tell her “don’t believe everything you read,” you’re telling her that the winner isn’t right, when we all know it is. Well, at least a select few do. I understand they are trying to deflect attention from the spoilers (despite filing a lawsuit and drawing a record number of people to my site yesterday for a premiere episode), but to out-and-out lie to them? Bad business. Just wanted to point it out today, then when the finale airs, be sure to mention again that in the beginning of the season a producer said “don’t believe everything you read” even though everything you’ll read in the spoilers is right. Spoilers are a part of this show now. It’s inevitable. If anything, it adds to the enjoyment of people watching the show, not detract from it. I can’t for the life of me understand why the people over there just don’t accept that and move on. Lets gets started…
