Before I get to today’s recap where I openly question Tierra’s antics in Canada (just like Sean and Chris Harrison do in their blogs today along with every other girl in the house), I do want to set the record straight on a couple of things to just show she’s not completely the devil. As for yesterday’s post regarding the ring she’s wearing on her left ring finger that she posted on Instagram, I can confirm that she’s not engaged. I have no idea where she got the ring, if the ring is even hers, or why the hell she’s taking pictures of herself with a ring on and posting them publicly for everyone to see, but it’s not because she’s engaged. Just looks like she is someone that is running with her “villain” edit and eating up all the attention the show is giving her. She obviously wants attention drawn to herself, because why else would you post vague photos of a big, fat rock on your left ring finger if you weren’t engaged?
Also, after Monday’s night’s episode, a few of you questioned the story she told Sean about her ex-boyfriend who died because, well, by everything she’s done this season, she hasn’t earned anyone’s respect to take her at her word for anything. Hell, even I questioned it. However, I can confirm that story is legit and it’s actually my mistake for not remembering it. I said in Tuesday’s column I didn’t know if she was telling the truth or not, when in reality, I was told about that ex-boyfriend and even referenced it in a post on Oct. 25th. But since it was three months ago, when she was telling the story Monday night, I’d completely forgotten about what I was told back then. Here’s what I wrote:
“Plenty of “Bachelor”-related stuff to get to, starting with what’s happening down in St. Croix. If you missed Tuesday’s post, scroll down past this one as it’s the next post on this page and you’ll see Sean’s date with Tierra LiCausi. I’d completely forgotten to add her to the “Sean’s Girls” link, but if you need to know more about her, you can read WetPaint.com’s profile of her, or just go to ABC’s “Bachelor” page to see her headshot and mini bio. One thing to correct in their bio is that Tierra doesn’t live in CA. Don’t know where they got that. She works and lives in Colorado and is in the real estate business. There’s a very sentimental reason as to why she named her dog Reese as well. Curious to see if it gets brought up on the show. Not my place to bring it up but it’s out there on Google if you’re interested in searching for yourself.”
You can do a Google search if you want to find out who this guy is, but her dogs name is Reese because it’s her ex-boyfriends last name. Not hard to find, but if you’re interested, you can Google keywords and it’ll come right up and you can read his story.
Interested to hear more former contestants talking about producer tactics behind-the-scenes, you can read and watch this interview that Doug Clerget did locally in Seattle that appeared yesterday.
None of this should come as a surprise to any of you if you read my column with any regularity, but sometimes I think because only I say it, you may think it comes from a biased point of view. But when you hear a contestant with first hand knowledge explain what I’ve been telling you for a while now, it adds credibility and shows you the level that the sick producers of this show stoop to just to get a reaction out of contestants. This wasn’t the first time they went to the “dead relative” card, and certainly won’t be the last.
One final note, Sean will be making a series of appearances for the Southern Women’s Show Series over the next few months. Here’s how it’s been described to me, followed by the dates and locations he’ll be in attendance:
“The Southern Women’s Show series consists of 10 annual consumer events across the eastern US that focus on fashion, food, health, home, business, travel and entertainment. It is essentially a women’s lifestyle magazine brought to life. Each show runs 3-4 days in the market over a weekend. Their target demographic are women aged 25-54 who are usually the decision makers in their home. They come to shop and sample new products and learn about new businesses. Their official automotive sponsor this season is Chevrolet and they will have The Balancing Act of Lifetime Television at each show this spring except for Richmond, VA.”
Savannah, GA, Savannah Intl. Trade & Convention Center – Friday, Feb. 15 @ 1:30
Memphis, TN, Agricenter – Friday, Mar. 10 @ 2:00
Nashville, TN, Nashville Convention Center – Friday, April 19 @ TBD
Richmond, VA, Richmond Raceway Complex – Sunday, April 21 @ TBD
