Only 4 more days away from the finale. Four more days until I’m vindicated from my spoiler posted back in November. Not that this season many have doubted it, but it’s nice to finally have it play out. I think more in the beginning of the season there might have been some doubt because of how little camera time Catherine got, but all in all, people have come to accept that pretty much 95% of the spoilers that I post on this site are going to end up being right. Sure, there are things I don’t know. I don’t know every single square inch detail of every single season. I just post what I know based on what I’m told, and outside of a few exceptions, for three years, it’s all been right. If someone wants to harp on the times I’ve been wrong, let them. Just proves they’re reading every single word I write and are praying that I’m wrong, yet, none of those people ever say a word when the spoilers are right, which is why I just laugh at people like that. I’ve been waiting for March 11th since Nov. 26th. Man, that’s a long time. Good thing it’s almost here.
So as for Tuesday’s column, remember, it won’t be a regular column recapping every scene from the finale, since not much goes on. I’ll give an overview of the episode, along with an overview of the whole season, then my thoughts on anything interesting that happens at the live ATFR. And oh yeah, maybe I’ll remind everyone that before you saw anything more than just a bio picture of Catherine, before you even saw the first promo of this season, and before you even saw one second of footage between Sean and Catherine interacting, I had told you he was engaged to her. Which is exactly what you’ll see come Monday. It sure is fun being right. Also in Tuesday’s column, I will reveal the first few contestants for Desiree’s season. Not sure how many I’m gonna release, but I definitely will release some, since I’ve been working on the “Bachelorette” season for the last month or so.
Yesterday I updated you on what were the top three easiest and hardest questions so far in the Reality Steve trivia game, and today I’m gonna tell you which question has fallen right in the middle. The question that has been answered correctly just as many times as it has been answered wrong. And this is about as close as it gets:
“Which girl got a fireworks show on top of the Aria hotel during Brad’s second season?” As of this morning, that question has been answered correctly 1,017 times, and been missed 1,017 times. Crazy. The answer is Shawntel.
Coming in a close second is, “What contestant during Brad’s second season did he sing ‘Kiss From a Rose’ with?” It’s been answered correctly 1,013 times, and been missed 1,016 times. The answer is Ashley Spivey.
And finally, can I just say for the record that “Idol” needs to dump the “We need 5 guys and 5 girls in the Top 10” this season? Man, they really pinned themselves in a corner with that rule considering there should be about 8 girls in the Top 10 and about 2-3 guys that are deserving. Sucks. And I just want to say for the record that if Zoanette is voted through to the live shows tonight, I have lost all hope for society. Same goes for Charlie. Enough of their side show acts. Charlie should’ve never even made the Vegas round in the first place, and that was strictly the judges call. He was put through as a novelty act and then got completely embarrassed last night because of it. And if anyone thinks that is a normal, well adjusted kid I’ve got some land to sell you. They exploited him and it all came crashing down last night. Brutal. I’ll give more thoughts on “Idol” as the season goes on, but just wanted to throw that in there before tonight’s Top 10 is announced. And yes, even though the press release said at the beginning of the season there would be no wildcards this season and the live shows would consist of 5 guys and 5 girls, I fully expect them to change that rule tonight and throw in at least 1, if not 2, wild cards.
