I know a lot you are interested in what I have to say on the Dr. Phil show from yesterday with Gia’s mom. And Jake. And her publicist. The whole thing just seemed off to me. If that’s the way her mom chooses to deal with her grief, who am I to say whether she did the right or wrong thing. Personally for me, I thought it was a bit much, it was over-the-top, and it just seemed a bit too soon. Don’t even get me started on Jake and the publicist’s appearance. Completely unnecessary and was obviously done for personal gain. Frankly, that part disgusted me. The nerve of Jake to make Gia’s death all about him. What a phony. Like we’ve always said about that guy, he’s never met a camera he didn’t like. It was very hard to sit through that, and although not every question was answered, I just hope its left alone now and people can stop trying to capitalize off such a sad story. Pathetic.
Not as many “Daily Links” today only because putting together these profiles took longer than I thought. Back tomorrow with more “Daily Links,” “Reader Emails,” and “Dr. Reality Steve.”
-When I heard Miley & Britney were collaborating on something, I just figured it was porn. Apparently not.
-I have no idea who this new guy is with Taylor Swift, but I do know two things: 1) It’ll be over within two months and 2) He’ll have a song written about him.
-Khloe hired a private investigator and all he could find was 5 mistresses for Lamar? Gee, he must be a really crappy private investigator.
-Good, now maybe she’ll dump him. I’m gonna go on record as saying these two aren’t going to last. Not like it would surprise anyone, but there’s a rule in Hollywood. When the female is much more famous than the male partner, bad things happen in the relationship.
-Of course the X Factor isn’t about the judges. That’s why we heard speculation for months on end as to who would fill Britney and LA’s seats. Lets face it, the singing competition shows are much more about which judges you can pull then actually about the talent.
-Kanye can call out Ray J on national TV all he wants, but face it K, he was all up in that years before you were and we’ve all seen it. Well, some of us have. Scoreboard. He wins.
-I honestly wouldn’t mind if they delayed “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” to, oh I don’t know, never.
-Take a wild guess as to which female musician came to Miley’s defense, all while slamming Katy Perry in the process? Can’t say I’m the least bit surprised by this one.
-I’ve never watched “Sons of Anarchy,” but I’m sure many of you have with the premiere being last night. Here’s an interview creator Kurt Sutter did where he talks about this final season’s plans.
-Chaz Bono is losing weight. Just thought you should know.
–Twitter feuds are always fun to watch play out. Even if they’re with two people I could give two sh**s about. Nicki Minaj and Gucci Mane, you’re up.
-Lets just say this couldn’t have happened to a better guy. How’s that taste, Tiger?
