Bachelor Juan Pablo Spoilers

Exclusive Look at 5 of Juan Pablo’s Girls and Today’s “Daily Links”

Here are 5 girls that have been accepted for Juan Pablo’s season. I have some more confirmed, I have some others that I’m waiting for a little more info on, and I’ve got some others where I just have a first name. All in due time I will be releasing more, but wanted to give you these five since the girls start arriving in LA on Saturday. Hey, someone tell Juan Pablo to check out the site so he can start pre-judging some of his women. Not to mention, now the women can start sizing up their competition before they arrive. Granted, there’s always a chance that one or more of these girls might not make the final cut because they fly out more than 25 and have some on stand by as alternates (even though they don’t tell them they’re alternates), but I’m pretty sure we’ll be seeing these 5 on the show. Just know that now these are released, I expect a lot of these Twitter, FB, Instagram, and Pinterest pages to be turned to private any minute now, so, get your stalking in while you can. Here you go…

1. Kylie Lewis: 23, used to live in Chicago, currently resides in Rockford, Illinois. Works at District Bar & Grill (FB page) as a bartender (shocker). Very much into artistry as well. Has done modeling work recently (pics 1-4 and 9-18 are her).

Facebook – Kylie Lewis
Twitter – Kylie Lewis (already following Chris Harrison, Juan Pablo, Sean, Drew, James, Arie, and Jef. Oh, and me too. I feel honored)
Instagram – Kylie Lewis

2. Ashley Poe: 25 or 26, Denton, TX. Graduated University of North Texas in 2009. She competed in Miss Texas USA 2010 as the representative for Denton County. Currently a first grade teacher at E.P. Rayzor Elementary School in Argyle, Tx. That link will tell you pretty much everything you need to know about her. Also has worked at Tour 18 golf course and Twin Peaks. Awesome. Gotta love the Twin Peaks girls.

LinkedIn – Ashley Poe (not sure why she doesn’t say she’s a teacher on there)
Pinterest – Ashley Poe

3. Val Eredia: 26, Sutter, CA. Played volleyball at Yuba City College, before transferring to Sacramento State University, where studied physical therapy. Here was an article written about her in 2009. She lost her cousin Alex who was killed at a party in 2008, then her grandfather Martin passed away two years later. Rough. Has worked as a bartender as well at the Happy Viking. Apparently is also proficient in sign language, as evidenced by the videos below that she did in collge.

4. Kat Hurd: 29, Scottsdale, Arizona. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 2007 with a BS in Athletic Training and BA in Dance, then got her Masters in 2010 in Exercise Science. Currently in Medical Device sales for Boston Scientific. When doing research on her, I see that she’s currently listed in the team photo(far left, top row) of the Phoenix Suns 2013-14 Dance Team that apparently was just named a couple weeks ago. Her twitter account also says she’s a Phoenix Suns dancer. Not sure how she’s gonna do the show and be a dancer too since she leaves Saturday, and the NBA season starts next month. But hey, at least we have this dance audition video to look at. Work it girl. Of the 5 I released today, Kat wins hands down. She’s goin’ places on this show. However, can I just say, I think I like her better as a brunette.

5. Alli Restko: 26, Chicago, Ill. Graduated from Miami OH University in 2009. Hey, that’s where James from Des’ season went. Small world. I’m guessing if that guy hasn’t already been in contact with her, he will once he finds out she’s on the show. That’s of course if they don’t already know each other.

Big YAAAWWWNNN Steve. It’s September 11. How about a small shoutout to the thousands who died on this date 12 years ago?

I’m amused at some of the negative comments towards Steve. (other recent columns, not just this one) I’m not sure what else people are expecting, as he said he’d release the first five of Juan Pablo’s girls today, and that’s what he did. It just goes to show you can’t please everyone. Personally, I’d rather him post a brief column with a few daily links than nothing at all. At least it gives us something to read in the slow season.

Regarding the contestants, just based on the photos, the only one that stands out to me at all is Kat.

When I heard Gia’s Mom was going to be on Dr. Phil….I thought that I might give it a look.

Then I saw the clip and Dr. Phil kinda nauseated me….and then I saw the clip of Jake…..and I got sick.

So, I skipped it… honor of Gia.

Just watched Dr.Phil and was reminded of why I can’t stand the guy. I couldn’t finish when Jake started talking and crying. He is the worst fame whore, just gross. I agree with Steve about it feeling a tad off with Gia’s mom’s segment. I’m not going to judge her, just saying It’s not something I would ever consider doing in her situation, and definitely not mere weeks after losing my child. But whatever, RIP Gia.

I wasn’t really trying to be negative. I just thought Steve would have mentioned the signifigance (sp?) of the day in the column. I’ll sure be glad when he starts his regular columns again.

If Ashley is a 1st grade teacher, why is she leaving her class at the beginning of the school year? If my kid were in her class, I’d make sure he was out by the time she returned. I guess going on a stupid reality dating show is more important than teaching kids.

Agree that Kat is the most attractive. But nice to see a couple women have “real” jobs and not just hooter type jobs.

Since I was on record as saying Juanie never impressed me at all…looks or otherwise, this will again be a season like Ben’s when I occasionally tune in, but always read Steve for the complete rundown of each week’s activities.

Also like any column Steve puts out…lengthy or brief, his input is always interesting and many times laugh worthy.

Agree with Sunnyside422 on Juan Pablo being a disappointment and also agree that I enjoy Steve’s columns in or out of season.

Kat is a fame seeking, superficial, snob and a half. She has no interest in being a wife or a mother. She wants to be famous. I hope for his sake, he will pick up on it. Her dream is to be on dancing with the stars. And like her mediocre dance video, she is also mediocre at best. Make up, a boob job and false eyelashes do wonders!!

What is disgusting is even commenting on the Dr. Phil segment or what you think is “over the top” (Reality Steve), what you would do, what you wouldn’t do (comments above), or anything else. These individuals are grieving the loss of an amazing person. Why do you think Gia’s mom is on there? Because the tabloids have been spewing disgusting stories and she wanted people to know what the real story was. Good for her, I commend her for doing so, and for having the strength to do it now instead of letting the stories drag on and on.

Who are you to criticize? Gia defended Jake many times so who are we to judge his emotions? I personally never liked him in the Bachelor but felt that watching him, his feelings were pretty raw and sad. You should be ashamed – pretty sure if you have never lost someone to suicide you are in NO place to judge.

Iheart- Yea, not sure what’s going on lately either, but wow, can we give Steve a break? Wow.
He didn’t mention the victims of 9-11 in this blog? Really? I doubt there are many Americans that didn’t stop and think of the tragedy that took place in 2001, but why does Steve have to voice that on a Bachelor blog, 12 years after the fact? I have to assume people are joking, otherwise, it gets a little creepy that anyone is taking this blog that seriously.

And how dare he have an opinion on Dr. Phil’s coverage of Gia Allemand’s suicide? How dare he have an opinion on Gia at all? I’m pretty sure Steve has come much closer than any of us have to ever even meeting her. He wrote a very, very, sweet, heartfelt tribute to Gia back when this first happened, he spoke about meeting her, how sweet she was, how humble she seemed, and, truly, he owes nothing to anyone. If anything, he has been one of her biggest advocates after her suicide, asking for people not to jump to conclusions and deeply empathizing with those who loved her. Steve is allowed to discuss whatever he chooses, and guess why? Because this is HIS blog. People are getting weirder by the day, it frightens me.

Anyhow, glad he put up the column about the girls.. too early to tell for me, but I think we should continue the tradition of picking our favorites.. can’t wait to find out more about Juan’s season and his ladies! Thanks, Steve!

Ahhhhhh I adore Kat and love that she got cast!! She was so excited about making the Suns so along with her (legit) job that was probably tough to put aside for this… but Juan Pablo is a catch so it will all be worth it πŸ™‚

Can’t wait to watch — thanks for posting, Steve.

Wow kasey – I didn’t mean to piss anybody off – Steve writes a REALITY blog and I just thought he would have mentioned the meaning of the day – calm down. It’s not the end of the world. Or wait – maybe that was September 11th. Never mind. Eat a cookie or something.

Kasey and Iheart, I’m with ya. It’s Steve’s blog so gets to offer up his opinion on anything he likes. I especially like it when I agree with him, as I did regarding Gia’s mom doing Dr.Phil.

Hi y’all! New kid here! I was encouraged to start commenting by the sweet Kasey31, and she promised I could sit at the cool kid’s table right away.

My thoughts on Chhhhhhhwan Paaaaahblo? I love him. He’s pretty, and I can’t understand a word he’s saying. What more could a girl ask for?

My thoughts on the first 5 girls? Meh. They all look pretty lame to me. It’s hard to judge without observing their interactions on the show, however. So I reserve the right to change my mind.

My thoughts on Dr. Phil? Blech. Jake? Blech. Gia’s mom? My heart breaks for her and I bear no judgement against her. Gia? Suicide is a difficult subject to wrap my mind around. Having been affected by it in “real life” I have been both furious and empathetic towards those who take their own lives…but at the end of the day, none of us can know the depths of pain and hopelessness Gia must have felt. I wish she could have been stronger, but I can’t hold it against her that she wasn’t.

My thoughts on whether or not RS owed the readership a blurb on 9/11? Umm…nope. This is not NPR…this is Reality Steve. And personally, I was glad to come here and unplug from the grief of the day. That doesn’t make me a bad person, nor a shallow one. Neither does it reflect those things onto RS.

That being said, we are all entitled to our opinions, and RS has been kind enough to allow a dialog on this site. So I believe, as long as people are respectful, that dissention and debate is both useful and entertaining. It’s healthy to express criticism!

Hi perfecta. πŸ™‚ I nodded my head in agreement when reading your comment. (Although I personally don’t care for Juan Pablo’s accent, and my opinion of him has changed ever since noticing how self-indulged he appears to be with all of his selfies) Also, ever since I read the part about sitting at the cool kids’ table, I can’t get that scene in Mean Girls out of my head- “You can’t sit with us!!!!” Lol

Back to the 9/11 talk, I came across plenty of people on Wednesday that didn’t acknowledge the date in our conversations. I certainly didn’t take that as meaning they didn’t care or weren’t affected by the tragedy that happened 12 years ago.

    Hi iheartvino!! πŸ™‚

It’s hard for me to apply normal standards to anyone who appears on the Bachelor/Bachelorette. In “real life” I would run from a guy like Pablo. But, as far as watching him on a craptastic reality show? Yes, please!!

(So, if I’m Cady…does that make you Regina George and kasey31 Gretchen Weiner? Lol.)

    September 13, 2013 at 11:54 AM

Ok now I want to leave work and just go home and watch Mean Girls. (Did I really just admit that? Haha)

I’m all for watching Juan Pablo as the Bachelor, and yes he is definitely easy on the eyes. (Just not easy on the ears in my opinion!) I know a lot of women find his accent sexy, but it doesn’t do anything for me. Now give me Aiden from Revenge- I could listen to his deep British accent allll day.

Speaking of Revenge, only a couple of weeks til the premiere! Randais, are you still visiting this site regularly? Haven’t seen you comment in a while.

    September 13, 2013 at 12:02 PM

Hey you two!!! Haha.. why do I have to be the Weiner?

Welcome, Perfecta!! Glad you found us : )
I’m so excited you’ll be commenting here, as your opinions have always meant a lot to me in my personal life, and I know you’ll contribute a lot on here, too.. Woo hoo! 2 of my favorite people on one blog, what am I gonna do with myself?

Strick, I was eating a cookie while reading your comment :/ Didn’t mean to offend you, I just thought you were being unfair to Steve.

kasey31, you can play Amanda Seyfried’s character and use your ESPN (boobs) to tell us if it’s raining. Lol.

iheartvino…there is no shame in loving the greatness that is “Mean Girls”.

    September 13, 2013 at 2:44 PM

Perfecta- My ESPN (lol) boobs tell me it’s hot.. very, very hot. We need some rain..

Hey! Yea, where is Randais? Come out of hiding! Revenge is starting back up soon.. hopefully this season will be better than the last..

Alli is gorgeous and would be great for Juan Pablo! She is super nice and genuine and has an amazing energy. Plus, not only is she beautiful, but she was also a nanny for many years, loves kids and is great with them. Add that to the fact that she is an athlete who has played soccer almost all of her life and these two are a great match! ((No pun intended!)

  24. kasey31

    September 15, 2013 at 12:40 AM

Katie- Alli is the one that stood out to me, too, out of the 5 girls so far.. we will have to wait and see what the rest are like!

Hi Everyone!! I am not new to RS site, as I have been reading his site for a long time now, I LOVE IT!!

I am getting excited for this season and thanks RS for all the sneak peaks of the girls, I look forward to it all.

Hi Kasey31, I agree with you all the way about Allie. I just hope most of the girls are there for the right reasons and we don’t have anyone like we have seen from the past shows.

Yes, I can’t wait till Revenge starts up again!! I am addicted and I am so into this show….just love, love it.

    Hi, luckykiss! Welcome : )
I hope so too, but it’s pretty hard to accept that anyone is here for the right reasons, initially at least.. every time I hear” right reasons,” I can’t help but cringe now, all thanks to Dean’s season haha.
Another Revenge fan? I like you already! Can’t wait for Revenge to start back up again.. finally!
