I can tell you that either tomorrow or Thursday I will have your episode-by-episode spoilers posted. Just going over everything last night and there are a couple minor things here and there that I can either try and get the answer to and wait til Thursday to post, or leave them out since they really aren’t terribly important and just post tomorrow. I’ll decide that today at some point. You’ll know tomorrow when I tweet and FB post about whether it’s just a “Daily Links” column or your season’s spoilers. The spoilers themselves don’t take very long to post, it’s all the formatting, the bolding, the italics, the re-linking old stories that makes the spoiler column take forever. I probably spent 5-6 hours on it this weekend. Hey, someone has to do it. And as far as I know, there isn’t a single website out there that has produced one spoiler about Juan Pablo’s season in the last two months. So once they’re posted, when other sites inevitably will take my spoilers word for word and claim them as their own (outside of WetPaint), you’ll know where it all came from. The fun part is over for me. Gathering all the spoilers, and putting the pieces together is always the part I enjoy the most in every season. Sure, the recaps are fun to write, but those take forever and it seems like everyone is doing one now. The fun part is getting info, even if it’s the smallest clue, and then piecing it together and realizing it ended up helping me with a particular spoiler. Very satisfying.
-T Swizzle is now saying that Jake Gyllenhaal talked to her about being the basis for a lot of the songs on her “Red” album. Huh? Really? Is trying to figure out who TS is writing her songs about supposed to be like solving the Da Vinci Code or something? Does it even really matter? I’m surprised Jake even cared she dedicated a song to him. Hell, I’m surprised Jake even dated her since we all know he doesn’t like…uhhhh…blondes.
-I’m all for anything Muppets or any sort of puppets like on Sesame Street, but I think Sesame Street needs to stay away from the parody videos. They did a “Homeland” one that wasn’t all that funny, and now this “Hunger Games” spoof. Ehhh. I just don’t think this is their specialty. Hey, has it been determined that Bert and Ernie are gay, or is that controversy soooo 2010?
-For all the singing competitions out there, I’ve always found the “Sing Off” to be the most legit since every performance without music or background vocals since it’s acapella. Didn’t realize it was coming back next month til I saw the most recent preview. Sure, I could do without Nick Lachey hosting, but if you want a singing show with pure singing at its finest, this one is for you.
-Did we know that Liberty Ross was boinking Jimmy Iovine or am I late to the party on this? I’m all for her moving on once her cheating husband decided to play hide the snake with Kristen Stewart, but isn’t Jimmy Iovine, like, 70? I’m just saying I’m guessing she could’ve done better than that. Then again, you know the saying. There’s no such thing as an unattractive man with money. Someone will always find him attractive.
-Kanye has a new video, and guess who the star in it is? Clear your mind and just take one stab in the dark at it? Yep, it’s Kim. And she’s topless. Should we have expected anything less? Didn’t think so.
–Dumb and Dumber To has a release date of Nov. 14th, 2014. Is it possible for me to buy tickets today? Or maybe they don’t go on sale til next week? Hey, anyone looking to get me a Xmas gift? Feel free to pre-order those for me. Thanks.
-This story made its way around Facebook yesterday and it’s quite comical. Some guy live tweeted the breakup he was witnessing at his building. However, me being the ultimate skeptic, I see that this guy is a comedian and he didn’t snap any pictures. So what proof do we have that this was a real breakup between two people, and not just a funny comedian looking for attention. Is it really impossible to think he couldn’t have just made up a breakup fight and pretended to be tweeting it in real time? I certainly don’t think it is. But that’s just me.
-The Oxford dictionary has named “selfie” as the word of the year. Wonderful. They probably have Miley to thank for that. Or any “Bachelor” contestant.
-Speaking of the “Bachelor,” the website “Funny or Die” was at it again yesterday posting their spoof on the show with the “Gay Bachelor.” Parodies and spoofs of the “Bachelor” franchise never get old. IF, and that’s a big if, they are well thought out and well produced.
-Eonline put a list out this morning of famous roles that almost went to other people. You’ve probably seen or heard them over the years individually, but it was interesting going through all of them at one time. However, this notion that “Oh my God! Nobody could’ve been Chandler Bing better than Matthew Perry” is completely ridiculous. You only say that because you only know Chandler Bing played by Matthew Perry. If Jon Cryer would’ve gotten the role and nailed the character, you’d be saying “Nobody could’ve been Chandler Bing better than Jon Cryer. Matthew Perry? Please. Who’s that?”
-You might think this is just a gratuitous way for me to link to Alyssa Milano in a bikini, and you may be right. However, it’s also a way for me to bring up the all important question of “When the hell did Alyssa Milano marry David Bugliari? And oh yeah, who the hell is David Bugliari?”
-Howard Stern has signed on for a third season of “America’s Got Talent.” That’s great and all, but let me know when Heidi Klum is finalized for her second season so I can actually be excited about that show.
-A very interesting Q&A with DWTS show runner Conrad Green on his thoughts regarding the show’s voting. A lot of different angles that I don’t think a lot of people take into account when talking about the voting on that show. Not everything is so black and white sometimes. This show is a prime example.
-Speaking of DWTS, I’m sure you all saw Maksim as judge last night. Eh, whatever. The bad boy basically complimented everyone and gave out high scores. Then again, the only thing I care about regarding Maksim is whether or not he’s still schtupping Kate Upton, which according to recent reports, doesn’t seem like he is. Awwww, that’s too bad. I totally thought these two would last at least through the end of 2013.
-If I’m linking to a story (or in this case a picture) of Joan Jett, you know it can’t be for good reasons. I don’t even remember what the story is about. All I know is here’s an updated picture of Joan Jett and, ummmmm, she doesn’t look all that young and spry. At all.
-You know believe it or not, I’m always interested in what people do at their weddings/engagements. I like to see creativity involved. Not saying that if you don’t do something creative then your wedding sucks, but I’m always interested to see people’s surprise engagements or anything wacky they do at their wedding. I applaud this couple for the amount of time and effort went into planning this wedding dance, and I really wanted to like it, but it just seemed incredibly awkward and uncomfortable to watch. I’m sure some people will love it. Not saying I hated it, but when you try and do an exact duplicate of an iconic movie scene, and it’s a little off, it just made me cringe a little:
