Whew. Only six days away. Six days away from this finally being over. A culmination of four months of having to wait to be vindicated. Sure, there are people that are hoping the spoiler is wrong like it was last season, but c’mon, really? You really think it is? Interesting. Ok, well then I guess you’ll get your answer in six days. I’m not the least bit worried, and haven’t been since I gave you all the spoilers back on November 20th. For the last couple weeks I’ve been focusing on Andi’s season. I’ve started to put together the guy’s profiles. Right now I have 12 guys, a couple of which filmed their intro videos over the weekend and even yesterday. Of course, zero other websites are reporting anything on Andi’s season because they don’t have anything. Kinda the way it works. I release it, then they take my info. Some credit, some don’t. I will release the first 5 guys a week from today in next week’s column. I’m pretty sure filming starts next Tuesday night the 11th. If not, then it’s the 12th. No later than that though. Until then, I guess I have to wait out 6 days for my perfect game to be complete. Right now, I’ve gone through 8 with 11 strikeouts. 24 up, 24 down. I’ve got the bottom three in the order coming up next Monday. Will be the three easiest outs so far. Can’t wait.
Speaking of Andi, I mean I guess there are still people out there who don’t want to believe she’s the “Bachelorette” because ABC hasn’t officially announced it. But what more proof do you need? I gave it to you on February 20th, the day before they filmed the “Women Tell All.” Then E! Online ran this story 5 days later (of course not referencing me since they’re in bed with ABC). Then TMZ had their “exclusive” which they ran two days after E! and 7 days after I reported it. Great journalism. Then yesterday, WSBTV in Atlanta reported that they spoke to the District Attorney’s office who confirmed Andi has taken a 3 month leave of absence. Just don’t be mistaken by the Atlanta story that they’ll take her back in a heartbeat. She’s not even two years out of law school. It’s not like she was the lead prosecutor on high profile cases. She’s easily expendable. It’s why she was allowed to leave for the “Bachelor,” was she’s allowed to leave again for 3 months to do “Bachelorette,” not to mention all the appearances she’ll have to do once the “Bachelorette” begins airing. She got what she wanted, she wanted to be the “Bachelorette” all along, and now she’s gonna ride it as far as she can.
In case you didn’t see on Instagram Friday, and then told by WetPaint, Renee is engaged. A guy she’s known since she was young, first guy she kissed, she reconnected when she’d gotten back from filming, and he proposed to her the weekend after she taped last night’s WTA. Ummmm, ok. She still has not made a public comment about it, unless of course she’s the source that gave the story to WetPaint, which is highly possible. I mean, the only people who would know details of her engagement are her and her close friends, right? So either Renee approved of one of her friends running to a news outlet to spill the details of her engagement, or, a friend did it on her own and Renee can’t be too happy about it. Regardless, she’s engaged to some guy whose name we don’t know yet, and they moved to Seattle this past weekend.
Lucy teased last week that she had a surprise for everyone after the WTA aired. She didn’t disappoint as she posted this on Twitter once the show was over last night:
Good stuff. Very funny and very accurate. She sure can play that ukulele. Naked.
What’s a Tuesday morning without Chris Harrison taking more shots at Juan Pablo? It’s becoming comical at this point how much he realizes they overhyped this season and failed miserably. Remember all the tweets back during filming and even once the season was over of how great this was gonna be, and the girls LOVED Juan Pablo, and Juan Pablo was falling in love? Yeah. All bullsh** and just hype. We’ll start hearing the same stuff come next week once Andi’s season gets underway and it’ll fall of deaf ears.
By the way, Renee, Chelsie, Kelly, and Sharleen will all be in attendance for the live ATFR next Monday night according to ABC’s press release. They’ve been doing this the past couple seasons by asking contestants to show up for the finale so they can offer their opinions during the show. Remember, the first two hours are what was taped in St. Lucia back in November, but coming in and out of commercial break, Chris Harrison will be walking around the audience asking questions, taking polls, and trying to get people to think something happens that doesn’t. Last season of course they ran with the Brooks angle all show since they knew the spoiler was wrong and they played it up. Well done. Ain’t happening this year. There’s only so much they can do.
