“Bachelor in Paradise” Episode-by-Episode Spoilers

Had to piece together a lot of this, but all your pre-rose ceremony eliminations, “incoming” contestants, and rose ceremony eliminations are all correct. Some dates are still a question mark and I’ll fill those in shortly. Also, on the rose ceremonies where I say who gives who a rose, I could be off on a couple. I wanted to get you the basis for this season, who’s on it, who goes home when, and what the end result was. So here you go…

Episode 1: Men give out roses, Women asking dates

Clare with Robert (she initially wanted to ask Graham on the date, AshLee had already “claimed” him, Clare offers to give up her date card to her, AshLee refuses, so Clare asks Robert)
Sarah with Marcus
Michelle with Marquel
Lacy with Robert

Right before the rose ceremony starts, Michelle Kujawa steps forward and leaves because she says she has no connection with anyone. Well, anyone of the cast members that is. That night back at her hotel is when she is caught with a sound guy in her room, he jumps off balcony and broke both his legs/feet. This is the clip where we see Chris Harrison coming to Michelle’s door in the preview when she slams it in his face. This had happened the next day after she was already gone from the show.

Rose ceremony:

Graham gives his rose to AshLee
Marquel to Michelle
Dylan to Elise
Robert to Clare
Marcus to Lacy
Final rose: Ben gave his rose to Sarah over Daniella

Episode 2: Women give out roses, Men asking dates

Men (8): Graham, Robert, Ben, Marquel, Marcus, Dylan. Chris Bukowski (Emily, Bachelor Pad 3) & Zack Kalter (Des) enter the show this episode.
Women (6): AshLee, Clare, Lacy, Michelle, Sarah, Elise

Incoming dates:

Chris with Clare
Zack with Clare

House dates:

Dylan with Sarah and they go cave diving UPDATE 8/5: Definitely these two on the date, but I mixed up what they did with Sarah’s date episode 1 with Marcus where they went cave diving.
Marquel with Michelle and they go horse back riding UPDATE 8/5: Obviously this date happened in the first episode. This date is Marcus & Lacy go on a dinner date to some eco-park.

During this episode, Marcus finds a note in Ben’s suitcase from a girlfriend back home, he confronts him on it, and Ben leaves. Lets just say Marcus conveniently found the note. Producers actually found it but the show will make it seem like it was Marcus. I guess he was the one who they got to agree to just go along with the storyline.

Also, Elise and Dylan had hit it off early in the first few days. Once Chris Bukowski arrived, Elise hooked up with him, Dylan found out about it and basically didn’t want anything to do with her anymore. Hence the reason he asked Sarah on the date this episode. Elise still wanted to try things out with Dylan, but he wanted no part of it. Told her during the episode that if she gave him the rose at the rose ceremony, he’d turn it down. And you’ll never guess how the final rose at this ceremony plays out…

Rose ceremony:

Michelle to Marquel
Lacy to Marcus
Clare to Zack
AshLee to Graham
Elise gives her rose to Dylan, but he rejects it like he told her he would, so she gives it to Chris. She apparently gives some speech after this about wanting guys to fight for them “til death do us part.” Cuck-koo, cuck-koo.
Final rose: Sarah gives her rose to Robert over Dylan

Episode 3: Men give out roses, Women asking dates

Men (6): Graham, Robert, Zack, Marquel, Marcus, Chris
Women (8): AshLee, Lacy, Clare, Michelle, Sarah, Elise. Danielle Ronco (Juan Pablo) and Jackie Parr (Sean) enter the show this episode.

Incoming dates:

Danielle with Marquel (flight to Campeche, Mexico)
Jackie with Marquel

House dates:

There were actually 3 date cards this week with plane flights on them to Campeche, Mexico. Marquel and Danielle were one of the couples that went. The other two were:

AshLee took Graham
Elise took Chris

Earlier in the show (not sure at what point), Chris Bukowski had hurt his knee in the ocean. This played a role at the rose ceremony.

Rose Ceremony:

Marcus to Lacy
Zack to Clare
Graham to AshLee
Marquel to Jackie
Robert to Sarah
Chris is too injured to continue in the show, but has to give a rose out to someone.
Final rose: Chris gives his rose to Michelle over Danielle because he thinks Michelle is there to find love. Chris then leaves the show and Elise goes with him. Hence the reason we saw them arriving back in Chicago together in the RadarOnline story a couple weeks ago.

I just got so confused after reading that.

Me too! I’m glad I’m not the only one!! I will probably still watch it though if there’s nothing better on.

Completely confusing, agreed. Michelle Money is with Cody??? I just don’t see it.

I think it looks SO trashtastically bad, it’s going to be hilarious. Definitely a must-watch, just for the fakeness, disfuction and delusions!

Wowza… head is spinning. This may be one for the DVR, only to be viewed in times of desperate boredom.

What a steaming pile. If viewers can’t understand it and it’s full of D- level ex-bachelor contestants, who’s really going to watch? Yeah, I guess we like train wrecks, but I mean this is in a class by itself.

Ha, I remember “Temptation Island.” Did anyone watch “Paradise Hotel?” I think that was just one season. Anyway, this franchise should stick to its first two shows. “BP” was lame and trashy (what I actually watched of it) and “BiP” doesn’t seem like it’s going to be much better.

Elizabeth… I remember Temptation Island and Paradise Hotel. One of the low-life contestants from Paradise Hotel came into my place of employment at the time the show was on, and I had the hardest time not giving him a big laugh and pointed look when I walked by. He was one of the worst dirt bags on the short-lived show, along with the girl he ended up hooking up with.

rob22…I have no doubt most, if not all of us, will watch the new trainwreck. I get such a kick out of these people who say “I’ won watch” or “I’ll never watch again.” How stupid and annoyingly dramatic.

OMG, Temptation Island! My sister was the ‘Reality Steve’ of the Temptation Island Days! (I did a bunch of her research?) And Holy Smokes, those people … Especially the single ‘Tempters’? They were desperate for any kind of fame they could get back then.
They used to send her all kinds of their side projects, ’cause back then “Reality Star” alone wasn’t a viable career choice, just an entree to get your name out there for something else. So she got more bad photography, cheesy poetry, horrible ‘self-produced’ music, bad fiction and even some kinda ‘art’ involving baby doll parts that they were trying to have promoted.
The most exciting time was the Cease & Desist from creepy “Millionaire” Rick Rockwell when she was writing about his sham marriage to Darva Conger.

Yay, wayback! I found the Rockwell letter from the now extremely defunct site & her very tongue in cheek reply. (Nothing ever came of it … Unlike your ridiculous issues with, well, you know…)

The hit or miss (usually miss) hotel conditions and conditions in general is rather typical of Mexico, especially in the Yucatan, Mayan Riviera. That’s why we haven’t gone back in almost a decade. It’s quite surprising though the show was filmed there…like Steve wrote, it’s more like Temptation Island than anything.
