I guess we should start off with the question I’ve been asked most since last night, “Do you still think Britt will be the ‘Bachelorette’ after that edit she got?” My answer: I don’t know. I’ve always thought she was exactly the fit for the role they’re looking for, but last night definitely threw a monkey wrench into things. Although a lot of things that were said and shown last night I believe were either highly exaggerated, or never said at all, it still didn’t depict her in the greatest of light. However, there have been plenty of girls who got the “Bachelorette” role that at points as a contestant on the “Bachelor” they said or did things that didn’t show them in the greatest of light either, so it’s still up in the air. Remember, Britt still has the “Women Tell All” hot seat to win people over, and we know the Tell All show has been a huge factor in the past in determining who ultimately gets the role. The “Women Tell All” tapes on Feb. 21st and Britt will most certainly be there. If anything, Britt just came across as more quirky than anything last night. But it could be a tougher sell now than before. Still a few weeks away. Lets let it play out and see. I just don’t see any other viable options from this season. You know who won’t be at the WTA to try and win people over? Becca. Why? Well…
I can confirm that filming for the next “Bachelorette” will start either the day after Chris’ finale airs, Tuesday, March 10th or Wednesday March 11th. Pretty much exactly on schedule with the last 5 seasons. Which means that they will announce the next “Bachelorette” on the ATFR the night before while all the guys on the season will be in their hotel rooms waiting to get on. Like I’ve said, this show sticks to a schedule, and as long as that schedule is that they will begin shooting the “Bachelorette” the week the “Bachelor” ends, there’s no way that the final 2 girl will ever be the “Bachelorette.” Move it back a couple weeks? Sure. But they haven’t done that in ages, so I don’t see it happening. They can’t bring Becca out on the ATFR, have her talk to Chris for the first time since being dumped, then later on within the same hour say, “And our new Bachelorette – Becca!” Makes zero sense and it’s why the #2 girl never gets the role. Not to mention, the new lead has to do photo shoots and intro videos a couple weeks before being officially announced as the “Bachelorette.” They can’t do that with Becca when she will still be in contention on the show when the finale airs on March 9th. Unspoiled people will think she has a chance to win, so there’s no way production is gonna take the chance of shooting intros and doing photo shoots with a girl weeks before she’s even eliminated from the show. Not happening. You can officially cross Becca off your list for next “Bachelorette.” Sorry Becca. I’m sure producers have even made you think you have a chance by talking to you. You don’t. Think of it logically and you’ll realize it.
You know how people say all the time how boring this show is, and that they hate so-and-so, and they’re not watching anymore? Or God forbid Chris is so boring and Arie would’ve been such a better choice, they’re totally not gonna watch this season? Ratings are in from last night and it’s the highest ratings of the season. It drew 500k more viewers than the previous most watched episode this season, and did a 2.5 in the 18-49 demo, along with winning Women 18-34 and 18-49 for the night. So yeah, those people can shut up now. Only goes to show it doesn’t matter who they cast as the lead, people are going to watch for the drama, the contestants, and the dates. It’s been proven time and time again for the last 29 seasons spanning over 10 years. Not sure when people are going to realize this, but just because you and your friends don’t like the lead doesn’t mean other people don’t. 8.4 million last night with a 2.5 in the 18-49 demo.
Nell Kalter’s Vanderpump Rules recap is now up if you wanna check it out. Did Jade make her cameo? All I hear about that show is how much of a douchenozzle Jax is. With a name like that, aren’t you most certainly going to grow up with a sense of entitlement and wear Affliction shirts?
We all know that the New Mexico Tourism board forked over $100,000 to get the “Bachelor” to shoot an episode in their city. With that said, how happy do you think they were of this shot?

Money well spent New Mexico. I’m sure the fact that an operation like this show not only couldn’t spell your city name correctly, but couldn’t even notice their own mistake on screen and fix it before it went to air must make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Congrats on that promotion for your city last night. I can’t wait to visit Sante Fe. Looks lovely.
Yes, Kelsey came off a bit crazy last night. More on that later, but I’m kinda shocked at how many people think she actually made up her story. I understand a lot of you are beginning to question everything you see on this show, and rightfully so, but she’s not just gonna make up a story about being married and her husband dying. I mean, why? It’d be able to be proven in milliseconds because we have this thing called the internet. Sure, she told it very awkwardly and almost seemed to laugh it off in her ITM, but yes, the story is actually true. She was married to a guy named Sanderson and he did die. Here is Sanderson Poe’s obituary, which I gave you back three months ago when I confirmed her as a contestant. Sure looks like it was written by Kelsey herself. Kelsey is taking some serious heat on social media after last night that made her shut down her Twitter account. Hey, you signed up for it. Deal with the consequences.
