Ahhhhh, the “Women Tell All,” easily the most overhyped show every season that this franchise produces. Outside of Courtney appearing on her Tell All during Ben’s season, which was the first time someone in the final 2 appeared at a Tell All, none of these live up to their hype. We don’t learn anything, nothing gets accomplished, the editing is god awful, and now with Paradise being an option for a lot of these women, it’s so easy to see who’s trying so hard to garner attention. With that said, here are a few of my thoughts on what we saw last night:

-Only two people, Jasmine and Sarah, went with the two handed wave during their intros. Kristina kissed both her hands and blew kisses, but didn’t technically just sit there and wave with her jazz hands. I remember back in the day, where it used to be a battle to the death to see if more than half the women would do a double handed wave. Now, it’s completely lost its luster and no one cares anymore. I miss the good ol’ days. Bring it back.

-Someone decided to play a prank on Josephine before the show and tell her that dressing like a bumble bee in a yellow dress and black lipstick would be the way to go. They succeeded in making her look completely out of place last night.

-Speaking of Josephine, my guess is some producer pulled her and Lacey aside pre-show to tell them in some form or fashion, “Hey, you want on Paradise? You’re gonna have to make yourself a little more known. Lacey, you lasted two episodes and no one knows who the hell you are. Just start spouting off some sh** to stir the pot so we can at least justify why we’d bring you to Paradise. Josephine, even though you lasted five episodes and your hideous outfit will sure make you stand out, do the unthinkable and side with Corinne. People already see you as the goofy one. Let them think you’re bat sh** crazy too.” And both of them obliged speaking out way more than they should have.

-The response to Liz last night was through the roof. For as much sh** as she took during the season publicly from the masses, she seems loved by every girl on that show. She stood up for herself, made good points, and was humble in accepting what happened. Exactly how an appearance on a Tell All show should be played by someone who didn’t come across great to the public. Plenty of people thought Liz looked stupid on the show. I never quite saw that and didn’t have nearly as big of a problem with it as others did. But she redeemed herself last night in a lot of people’s eyes. And by the way, did you notice in the last week she’s posted a few IG pics with a new man?

-I know Taylor and Corinne dominated the middle portion of the show, but I just can’t. I gave you my thoughts all season and they were only further solidified last night. Corinne didn’t apologize, acted like a baby, can’t handle criticism, and showed her true colors last night, while Taylor seemed accepting of the things she did wrong, did apologize, tried to make peace, and Corinne wanted none of it because she felt she didn’t do anything wrong. That’s those two in a nutshell. Not putting any more effort into talking about their tiff because I couldn’t be bothered with how Corinne acted. And people were applauding her. Unreal.

-Kristina and Liz both fought for “most loved girl in the house” last night. Hell, Kristina basically got a standing ovation for just showing up. The girls loved her, she told her story again, and regardless of whether you personally like her or not, you can’t take away her story from her. And that’s one hell of a story from someone who came on this show. We don’t see something like that too often.

-I’m not sure why Danielle L. is crying three months after the fact. Like, it’s not like she shed a couple tears either. The girl couldn’t speak without sounding like she had a frog in her throat the whole time she was addressing Nick. It was uncomfortable to watch. Like, Danielle the last time you spoke to Nick was before Halloween. It’s February now (when that episode was taped). You might wanna not ham it up for the cameras so much. It didn’t look sincere, it looked bizarre.

-Rachel coming out had her saying everything she needed to say to set herself up for next season. Looked good, said all the right things and, well, said the same things every lead does heading into a new season. JoJo said it, Kaitlyn said it, on and on and on down the list. Humbled, can’t believe it’s happening, I could be engaged in a couple months, etc.

-The bloopers are getting worse and worse every year. They used to be funny. Now it’s just nothing but boom mics falling on people’s heads and girls scared of insects. I feel like it’s the same stuff over and over now. You go back to the Ashley, DeAnna, and Ali seasons of bloopers and compare them to what we saw last night, and there’s no comparison. They were much funnier and a tad longer back in the day.

Soooooo, yeah. That’s your WTA in a nutshell. There’s nothing to dissect on this show anymore since all the women talk over each other, they edit stuff out, and a lot of the footage we see we’ve already commented on during the season. The next time a Tell All show lives up to its billing will be the first time. It’s basically become an audition video for fringe contestants wanting to be on Paradise. So finally this all comes to a head next week as what I told you back in November will all play out in 6 days. I hear stuff towards the end of the season every year, and this season is no different. For those asking, Nick and Vanessa are still together. What their future plans hold, I have no idea, but I don’t see it lasting very long at all. Whatever the case, Fleiss, Robert Mills, and Chris Harrison all keep hyping the ATFR next week as something we’ve never seen will happen, and I don’t have the slightest clue what they’re talking about. These are the kings of hyperbole when it comes to this show, so I tend not to read into their stuff too much. Less than a week left. Thank God.
