Another fun podcast for you this week as I talk to one of Arie’s girls, and one of the Rose Girls, Bri Amaranthus. If you’re unfamiliar with her and the name doesn’t ring a bell, it’s because she went home on the first night. And she didn’t do Paradise. But she definitely has an interesting story, and one that certainly appeals to me since she’s in the world of sports broadcasting. Although only lasting one night, we talk a lot about everything that led up to her being cast, including what producers were telling her during the casting process even though she was first contacted pretty late. Here’s a hint: they lied their asses off. I know, real shocker. We also get into why she didn’t do Paradise, since I was convinced she would absolutely be one of the first night girls to get cast. We touch on her dating Ben Flajnik while the show was airing since it was brought up during the Courtney podcast, and, we talk a lot about her broadcasting career and the difficulties of being a woman in a male dominated field. As always, if you’d like to respond to the interview, please include Bri’s Twitter handle (@BriAmaranthus) in your replies, especially if you’re a woman looking to get into the broadcasting world, Bri is certainly willing to chat with anyone for advice and pointers. Enjoy…
