I’d say on average, “Reader Emails” every week is roughly between 35-40 emails. Sometimes lower, sometimes bigger but always in that range. When I start receiving emails from people (beginning Wednesday after “Reader Emails” posts, through the following Wednesday morning), I just drop it into a folder and usually start answering them whenever I have free time. Before Monday’s episode aired, I believe I had already answered 25 emails, so I knew this was going to be a big week. When I started doing the podcasts, my goal was just to get as many former contestants on as I could. Every week try and bring a different person on, talk about their season, talk about what they’ve been up to, get their thoughts on Nick’s season, do some Rapid 10 and be out. Just try and get a side to these people that you haven’t seen through a TV screen. As you can tell by my follows on social media, there are very few in this franchise I follow. To me, it’s just clutter on my timeline, and anything major that happens on someone’s IG or Twitter account, I get emailed, tweeted, or DM’ed about usually about .4 seconds after it happens (And full disclosure: There are people I’m following on Twitter who I’ve muted as well. So my 70 follows are more like 63 I think).
