-So Chris sits down with Ali for a chat and unfortunately, I actually watched this one since I had caught up in real time on my DVR by then. Damn. Need to work on that next time. As I’m watching Chris and Ali talk, all I could think to myself was, “Holy fake eyelashes Ali!” Was she going for the hooker look that day? Was half expecting them to pan down and show her in 6-inch clear heels. Ali basically was all over the map with her feelings towards Frank. Ali: “To come here and do this was unbelievably selfish…he’s the biggest jerk I’ve ever known…thought there was a chance Frank would be by husband.” Huh? I’m done trying to figure out what’s going through her head.
-It’s Rose Ceremony time. Well, if you want to call it that. HOLY SH**! I was actually wrong about something this season. Way back on May 11th in the spoilers when I said Frank leaves the show to get back with ex Nicole, I said it happens before they spend the night and there is no rose ceremony. Oops. Crucify me. I guess I’m 1,000 for 1,001 this season. Crap. My perfect streak ends. Then again, that wasn’t really a rose ceremony since we all knew both guys were accepting roses, but whatever. Of all the final rose ceremony outfits Chris Lambton has gone with, I think last night’s was my favorite. Obviously they were allowed to be a little more casual since it was Tahiti, but the fact that Chris decided to not button the first, oh I don’t know, eight buttons on his shirt was fascinating. Why even wear one at that point?
-Ali: “As you can see, Frank’s not here…he has some things back home he didn’t deal with before coming here…he’s gone home to take care of that…it’s really hard, and, it is what it is…100% positive Frank’s not the man for me…this is about me choosing someone and them choosing me back, like I’ve said from Day 1…and considering my self-esteem is in the toilet right about now, please let me know if there’s bitches back home that either of you would rather be with. It’ll save me a hell of a lot of time. Thanks. I appreciate it. Go f— yourselves, Frank and Justin.”
Considering we got Dr. Chris Harrison enough already this episode, we were spared him telling Roberto after Chris got the first rose, “Ali, Roberto, this is the final rose tonight. When you’re ready. My math tells me with one person left and one rose, the odds are good Roberto’s gonna get it. I’m not only a psychologist, but a math professor as well.” At the rose ceremony, Roberto was sweating again like Tiger after Elin read his text messages. I hope in the finale, they had someone constantly fanning Roberto at all times. His sweat last night was getting to be too much.
