“Reader Emails” this week are interesting to say the least. Some ridiculous ones, some good ones, and some off the wall ones. I guess I should expect nothing less at this point. After the week I’ve had, and the crazy reaction to the Brad/Laurel article, I think I’m just happy for this week to be over so I can move on. The stuff people come up with and the theories people have really blow me away sometimes. Really? Laurel is in on this with ABC? Huh? How is that remotely possible? People kill me sometimes. But hey, I guess that’s what makes this fun to do at times. This past Wednesday was the largest traffic I’ve ever had on this site for a Wednesday, and I didn’t even write anything. So at least I know where people are coming to when news breaks about this show, and I want to thank you for that. On to the emails
Love your column and find it to be very witty. They always the suitcases packed for the 1 on 1 or 2 on 1 date, but do the girls have to all pack their suitcases before a rose ceremony or do they go back and pack after they have been kicked off?
Comment: You have to pack your suitcase before every rose ceremony, 1-on-1, or 2-on-1 date. Sweet. A one sentence answer. I wonder if I can do that for the whole column and be done in five minutes. Ummmm, probably not.
Do you think they would ever have an all-star season? Bring back all the favorite girls of seasons past.
Comment: Man, if they actually did an All-Star season with a bunch of former bachelors or bachelorettes, how desperate would those people look? You really want to do this again knowing you have a 1-in-25 chance? I don’t think the show would do it, but you can bet your ass you could find 25 former contestants that would want to be on TV again. You kidding me? Some of these people cling to the fact they were on a reality show for a few episodes and would probably kill to be on it again since, well, that whole TV/Modeling/Acting career hasn’t quite panned out like they thought it would after they were on the first time.
Wow wasn’t it embarrassing how completely and utterly wrong you were about Ali’s season. Wasn’t it funny and pathetic how you managed to look like an even bigger douche then you already are by trying to save face hours before the finale aired. Man I just love saying it, you were wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. Anyway, my question is this, how many more times will you have to be wrong before you finally shut up and go away?
Comment: Oh, I loved this email. See there are people out there who read my site quite often in hopes that I’m wrong. They actually take time out of there awfully productive day to come over to RealitySteve.com just to see if I fail. Man, what a life they must lead.
I admitted on numerous occasions last season I was wrong, so I don’t really see where they are going with that. Never once did I try and shy away from the fact that from the time I announced Ali was single in mid June, til the time the finale aired Aug. 2nd when I got the updated information, that during that time I was wrong. If I’m wrong, I’ll admit it. I’ve got no problem with that whatsoever. For a second, I thought my six year old niece wrote in that question with the “you were wrong, wrong, wrong” line. Really? Where was the “Nanny nanny billygoat” line to follow?
To answer your question of how many more times will I have to be wrong before I finally shut up and go away? Uhhhh, probably not anytime soon considering I haven’t been wrong about a single thing season, and am not going to be either. But thanks for caring so much. You know, I’m sure there are anger management classes they can sign up for in their area. Might wanna look into it. I have an idea: How about you worry about your life and all the misery that it entails, and let me handle my website as I see fit. Deal? Because something tells me I’m going to be a hell of a lot better off in the long run. Just a hunch.
