I just wanted to say that your site is so funny, and watching the bach/ette franchise is so much better when I know a little about the back story/behind the scenes action and what is going to happen next. People love your site and look forward to your spoilers, so really who gives a s**t whether you got the ending wrong!?! I for one actually didn’t hate being surprised. A I’m sure you and your readers did, I watched this past season from a very different perspective thinking that Chantel was the girl he picked. So finding out that it was really Emily was like a wrench being thrown in it. It was interesting!
You know that you’ll get a million emails saying this exact same thing, (and prob. just as many saying the exact opposite thing) but don’t worry about the haters. They suck and you rock 🙂
I also wanted to let you know that reading your funny and smart recaps after watching the bachelor makes me feel like I regain a few of the brain cells that I lose watching two hours of mindless fluff, so thanks for that.
I also have a question. Just out of curiosity, what (in your opinion) do you think really was the “Most Dramatic Bachelor Moment… EVER”. Brad picking no one? Jason’s reselection? Jake vs. Vienna showdown? something else entirely? (random question, i know, but I’ve always been curious)
Comment: I guess I’ve never really thought about this until now, but I think the ATFR where Jason dumps Melissa and asks to date Molly has to take the cake. Regardless of who you were a fan of, if you thought Jason was being an ass, if you hated Melissa or Molly, or both etc. It was must-see TV. EVERYONE was talking about it the next day. You couldn’t take your eyes off it, really. That whole hour was dramatic, uncomfortable, awkward, bizarre, suspenseful – you name it, it had it. Although most of you didn’t like it, it was great TV.
1. Are you going to continue Friday e-mails during “off-season”?
2. Why did we NEVER see Emily’s parents or siblings?
3. Is the report true that the Hendricks family will have nothing to do with Emily? What about Ricki?
4. Is it true that Emily has nannies and she travels a lot without her daughter?
Comment: 1. Yes. There might be a week or two where I take off, but I plan on continuing it throughout the off season.
2. I have no idea. Although, if you read the interview with Brad and Emily in “People” magazine this week, Brad confirms he did fly her dad out to South Africa to ask for his permission to marry his daughter, but it wasn’t shown. Hmmmmm, yet another thing I was right about Fleiss. Cha-ching!
3. No idea about that either. I’ve heard stuff but nothing confirmed.
4. Same. Heard stuff but nothing I can confirm. I have no idea if any of the meetings that Brad and Emily had over the last three months included Ricki. I’m guessing at least a few did, but I don’t know for sure.
I’ve been meaning to drop you a note for a while now and say, why do you care about the people who doubt you or question your information? You’re right so much more than you’re misinformed, and that’s due to no fault of your own, so don’t let it bother you.
Comment: Well, there’s a difference between people who doubt and people who say I don’t know what I’m talking about. Doubters can doubt all they want, but eventually, they’ll see what I write eventually comes true. But for people to say “He doesn’t know anything”, or “He only gets it half right”, or “He doesn’t know what he’s talking about”, that’s just ignorant. And I’m sorry, but I love making fun of ignorant people. They’re such an easy target to be proven wrong, and there’s nothing they can say in return. When you say stuff like “he doesn’t know anything”, then I come back with, “Ok, well what about this this this and this I was right about”, immediately your statement just sounds stupid. Big difference between those who doubt and ignorant people.
So my real question is, do you really want us to believe that Vienna and Kasey are a couple? If they weren’t announcing it to the world I might believe it. I’m sure they read your blog too and have found a near foolproof plan to get on BP2. (This is where my hypocrisy sets in – they’re free to do what they can to make some cash but I think its repulsive).
Comment: Well, whatever their reason is for dating, the bottom line is they are. Those two are inseparable right now. Go follow them on Twitter or FB, you’ll see. Hell, these two are going to Disneyland together. If that isn’t the sign of a young couple with goo goo eyes for each other, I don’t know what is. Maybe they’re in love, maybe it’s strategic for “Bachelor Pad 2”, maybe it’s both. I don’t know. I just know they are together and judging by their tweets, seemed to be joined at the hip.
Are Deanna Pappas and Holly Durst not having a joint wedding anymore like they originally talked about having?
Comment: No, no joint wedding. DeAnna is getting married I believe sometime later this year in Georgia. Holly and Michael are together and taking their time with things. At least that’s my understanding.
I have a couple of questions, or maybe they are ideas?
1- Why don’t you ask out or get to know Ashley Spivey?
2 – Since you don’t want to create a B/B’tte drinking game – why don’t you create Reality Steve shot glasses to sell on your site that fans can use in their drinking games?
Love the blogs – I’ve been a reader since around Andrew Firestone time
Comment: 1. Great idea. Doubt it’ll happen though.
2. I think I’m am out of the Reality Steve merchandise market for the time being. I don’t see that happening again.
