Man, they really love showing Kasey and Vienna’s blowups. I really didn’t understand the nature of this fight. Something tells me there was more to it than “You smiled and were being nice to Jake.” I’m guessing we caught the tail end of that fight. I mean sh**, so many things in this episode were shown completely out of sequence, it’s impossible to believe anything on that show happened in the time that it did. Vienna was wearing Kasey’s ring in numerous scenes before he actually gave it to her, so that right there should tell you how screwy everything was. Also wanted to point out that just because they showed Kasey’s ITM of him saying “she’s just as much a famewhore as the rest of them” during his fight with Vienna doesn’t mean that’s who he was talking about. Kasey has tweeted about it twice, and Vienna has even said it herself that Kasey made that comment about Gia, not her. Do you honestly think the guy would go on national television and say that about his fiancé knowing she would eventually see it? C’mon. All you have to do is go back and watch the clip. When actually physically show him saying that, he never says Vienna’s name. In a voiceover right BEFORE they show him talking to the camera, you hear him say Vienna’s name. But in that isolated clip, that was a comment directed at Gia. But because it was shown right in the middle of footage of them arguing and Vienna crying, when you throw that clip in there, of course people are gonna think he was talking about her. Wasn’t the case.
Michelle’s date is up first and she takes Blake, Kasey, and Graham to a vineyard. Do you realize Blake will basically go on four dates in a row? Last week he had the date with Melissa, this week he’s part of Michelle’s, next week he wins the challenge and takes Holly on a 1-on-1 to start their whirlwind romance, and then in two weeks, he and Erica go on a 1-on-1 date for finishing 2nd in the Newlywed Game Challenge. For a guy who’s acted like such a douchelick on this show, he sure got a lot of date time. I loved how Michelle even pulled him aside on the date to tell him pretty much, “You’re acting like a jerk, and if you don’t apologize to Melissa, you’re in serious trouble.” Remember before the season I told you that people were gonna have a different impression of Michelle once this season airs? Pretty amazing how editing works, huh? In Brad’s season, they only showed the parts where she was acting over the top, saying outlandish things, and made her seem crazy. On BP2? Sh**, Michelle is coming across as probably the most normal female on the show. Completely different side of her this time around that I think a lot of people are enjoying. I’d say she’s probably the front runner to win it all at this point.
Remember, while this show is airing, these contestants who were eliminated are seeing the episodes they weren’t on airing for the first time. And that’s important because they play a role in determining the winner if they follow at least a part of last season’s rules. The 14 people who aren’t in the final four will vote for either a couple, or a solo person, or some voting will take place where they have a say in who “advances” or gets all the money. We still don’t know yet how it will play out. So Holly, Michael, Graham, and Michelle all are still technically playing the game because they need to be in good graces with the other contestants. You don’t want to go pissing them off right now because it’ll never get you any votes. However, with Michelle’s recent loss of her father and grandmother, and knowing that she’s one of the more well liked women in the house, it’s a good bet that either her alone, or the team of her and Graham, will end up winning this thing. And I really don’t think people wanna see Holly rewarded for knowing that Michael is still in love with her, yet starting a relationship with Blake while in the house.
As for her date, it was really no surprise who was getting the rose, and yes, for the 100 people who emailed me, I saw the horrible editing job of Graham talking to her with the rose on his jacket in one scene, then off it the next before she had even given it to him. I’ve pretty much come to expect editing blunders on this show. Happens every episode of every season, so, I’m not sure why people are surprised by this. I mean, in the previews before the season AND last week’s previews, they show Michelle and Graham with that big, wet, sloppy kiss on that bench, so it’s not like we didn’t know who was getting the rose anyway, regardless of the spoilers. The editing team is asleep at the wheel half the time anyway on this show. This is nothing new. My reaction to watching that scene was, “How many things did Crishell throw and break in her house when watching that scene?” Crishell would be Crishell Stause, the actress who played Amanda Martin on “All My Children”, who was also a finalist to be the “Bachelorette” before they gave it to DeAnna, and who just happens to be Graham’s on and off ex-girlfriend. To say she has a bit of a jealous streak in her over Graham would be an understatement.
Now, the question I’m sure I will get asked today numerous times is, “Are Graham and Michelle now dating?” The answer: I’m don’t know, and I don’t think they know. By all accounts, they are very close. How close? Graham spent last week in Salt Lake with her after her father and grandmother died. So yes, they are very good friends who obviously like each other a lot. Does it mean they are officially an item with a label of boyfriend/girlfriend? I think that’s what they’re trying to figure out. Lets face it, it’s not the most ideal situation. She’s a single mother that lives in Utah and Graham lives in NYC. Can’t be the easiest of situations to be in. I guess time will tell with these two and I’m sure we’ll hear more when they go back to tape the finale.
