Bachelor Pad 2

Your “Bachelor Pad” Finale Spoilers – 9/6/11

Your episode-by-episode spoilers for “Bachelor Pad 2” are in a link at the top of the page, or or click here. You’ve been warned.

It’s late, I wanna get to bed, so here is the basics of what you’ll see Monday night:

-They bring out the 14 contestants who aren’t in the final four and get an update what’s going on with everyone. Ames and Jackie’s broken relationship is brought up and Ames basically says she’s a great girl, but they’re too different. Jackie is still surprised she got dumped, but whatever. They’re not together. You knew that.

-Jake is up on the hot seat first. Talked about the triangle with him, Kasey, and Vienna. Kasey apologizes for some of the things he directed at Jake this season, and they hug it out on stage. Booooooooo…..

-Blake is up next on the hot seat. Now remember, the final four haven’t been brought out yet. Michael, Holly, Michelle, and Graham are all backstage not knowing what’s happening out on stage.

-Blake talks about the whole Melissa incident, then is asked about what’s the status with Holly. He says he’s been spending a lot of time with her, he loves her, and he’s never loved anyone like this before. Chris Harrison then steps in and says something to the effect of, “There’s more to this story…”. Then they show a clip on the big screen, where in just the last few days, Blake proposed to Holly and she accepted. They are engaged, which is why she’s moving to South Carolina. Now their tweets to each other Monday night make sense. It wasn’t specified when exactly this engagement that was shown on the big screen took place, but, it was sometime in the last few days.

-Kasey is on the hot seat next and talks about how he was embarrassed by some of the things he saw of himself on TV and that the show was very difficult to watch for him and Vienna. He says they’re in love, and that they’re still together, which we knew since they just bought a place in LA together.

-The final four is brought out on stage. Both teams had to state their case as to why they thought they deserved the money. Michael described why Holly should win, then Holly did the same as to why she thought Michael should win. Graham and Michelle did the same each explaining why they thought the other team member deserved to win. Michelle also made it clear that she didn’t want any pity votes from anyone because of what happened with her father.

-At some point during this is when Michael finds out Holly is engaged to Blake. Michael did not know. He knew Holly was moving to South Carolina, but she never told him (I guess she tried but couldn’t get a hold of him), and Michael is told that they’re engaged. He’s pretty surprised.

-Also up on stage, not sure at what point it went down, but Graham was talking about Michelle and started to get down on one knee. I guess some thought there was gonna be another proposal, but, he didn’t. He had a bouquet of flowers next to his seat. He gave one rose to Michelle, then went in the audience and gave the rest of the bouquet to her mother who was in attendance over the passing of her husband.

-Before the voting took place, the eliminated contestants got to ask the final four any questions. Rego basically said he didn’t think any of them deserved the money. Kirk asked each one individually why they thought they deserved the money. Kasey asked Michael and Holly why they deserved the money over Graham and Michelle. Michael thought that was the exact same question as Kirk’s, Kasey said no it wasn’t, but I guess Michael disagreed and said he wasn’t gonna answer the question.

-So it was voting time, as each of the 14 contestants had to write down the name of the COUPLE they wanted to win. And by an overwhelming majority of 10-4….Michael and Holly got the most votes. The only 4 votes for Graham and Michelle were from Kasey, Vienna, Melissa, and William.

-At this point, it was the same exact ending as last season. Both Michael and Holly go backstage, and have to each choose either “Keep” or “Share.”

-If one chose “Keep” and the other chose “Share”, the one who chose keep gets all 250k.
-If they both chose “Share”, they split the 250k.
-If they both chose “Keep”, neither gets anything, and the remaining 14 contestants split the 250k.

-After deliberation in the back, Holly shows her choice first, and it’s “Share.” Michael pulls a Natalie from last season and starts saying things that are leaning towards him choosing “Keep” (like finding out she’s now engaged), but in the end, he says they were partners, and he chose “Share”, so the two of them will now split 250k.

-Last order of business was Ben being brought out and he’s introduced as the next “Bachelor.” In case you didn’t read what I wrote three weeks ago when I announced this, the women arrive in LA on Saturday the 17th, and filming begins on Ben’s season Tuesday, September 20th.

I’m tired and going to bed. Shocked to hear that Michael and Holly won, but I guess good for them and congratulations.

Wow… Holly got in the ultimate zinger at Michael. Not telling him about her engagement. He had to hear it in front of a live audience at the finale? That’s cruel.

I was hoping Ella and Kirk would win the money.

Thanks for telling us. Guess I won’t need to waste my time watching the rest.

I was hoping Ella and Kirk would win as well.

Holly and Blake are engaged…wow. Let’s see how long before she pulls runaway bride-to-be again. Poor Michael…I genuinely feel sorry for him. That is terrible that this is how he had to find out. I’m sure Holly could have told him somehow and spared him the humiliation.

Thanks for the spoilers, Steve. You rock!

Good luck to Holly and Michael. I wanted Michael to win anyhow. The $125K will give both a different perspective on life, Michael will be more focused on dealing with the money and less on Holly and Holly maybe will not need dentist anymore. We will now see how much of ‘fame whores’ these people really are.

I’m glad that Michael won, but I wish it was voted individually rather than by teams.. I think that’s the only way Holly got the money. Best of luck to them, some may need it more than others!

I’m glad Holly and Michael won over Michelle and Graham…Graham didn’t do much besides lay low leading me to wonder what was really going on with him…very boring…and Michelle…let’s not forget all the crazy mean things she said about people on Brad’s season of the Bachelor. Besides the whole love triangle fiasco Holly and Michael are both nice people. When I read the part about Graham getting down on one knee I about went into shock cuz thought you were gonna say he proposed..I would’ve NEVER thought that would happen.

I’m sort of surprised Blake proposed but not really…i knew he really liked her..just didn’t expect him to propose so soon but maybe he felt that strongly about her..who knows how long this will last but I think they make a cute couple.

Dear Holly…Engaged to Blake? Really? A proposal in front of Michael? How classless. But, Blake doesn’t seem to have much class. He’s a smarmy, ignorant man, Holly. Take it from someone who married a Blake. I just hope that once you get to the divorce part of the relationship, there is not a child involved. So, was it the Doctor title, the need to constantly be in a relationship, or you want to hit a Guiness world record for the number of Bachelors you’ve hooked up with, so far? I really don’t want to be mean, but maybe, eventually you’ll listen to what people are saying. Your comment about Reality Steve’s truths was very telling. It was the equivelant of a child wanting to plug their earsry telling. What you were basically saying was I rather bury my head in the sand and hear the truth versus taking peoples advice and words to heart. I know, Holly. I was in your shoes once too. I have no doubt many people in your life have tried to point out how smarmy and unlikeable the man is, but you are not ready to hear the truth. Look at how he handled himnself with Melissa. You too will eventually get that treatment from him. A leopard does not change his spots. Michael, congratulations on dodging the bullet that is Holly Durst. It may hurt like hell now, but you deserve someone with the same level of kindness, maturity and honesty. That does not describe Holly. Holly traded down, but you Michael, are a wonderful person who deserves so much better. I can go on and on, but the bottom line is, Holly is a confused, immature little girl.

  7. karynr

    September 7, 2011 at 8:17 AM

What I meant to say, without the typos and incomplete sentences, was, Holly’s comment was like a child plugging their ears going “lalala” to avoid hearing the truth.
I’m a Headhunter by trade, and the best advice I can give everyone in this situation is, the best indicator of future behavior is based on past behavior. Got it?

Wow, karynr, chill out! You obviously have some major hatred happening, and you’re taking it out on people you don’t even know. That’s really sad, and this is really not the right place to vent.

    September 7, 2011 at 9:57 AM

Ditto to what locondcoco and Dianne said. Settle down, karynr. If you for some reason want to vent to Holly go do it directly to her on Twitter or something, not on RS’s page.

karynr….you are so wrong….Blake is not a player…he was SINGLE when he was scoping out the women…there’s nothing wrong with that. At the Bachelor pad he really only hooked up with 2 girls..that is not a lot considering The Bachelor kisses like 10 girls. He truly likes Holly. Yes Blakes personality might come off like that a bit but overall he’s not a bad guy…I agree Michael was a good person but too much crap went on in his and Holly’s past…Holly was better off starting with a clean slate.

    September 7, 2011 at 10:31 AM

I feel bad for Michael. He got shit on the whole season and then the big whopper at the finale. No class or decency shown by Holly. But she will get what is coming to her because Blake is not going to be faithful and will eventually hurt her.

So happy that Michael dodged the Holly bullet, he is kind and wonderful and I really hope he ends up with a woman that appreciates him and adores him. If I was single I would want a man like Michael.

100% Michael and Holly won because of Michael. I wish he would have said keep, but he probably thought Holly was going to say keep so he didn’t want to end up with zero. He deserved better, but at least he is walking away with $125,000 and seeing what his ex-fiance is really like. Now he will hopefully move on. Love him!

Hopefully, this show will not be back next summer.

  14. morrigan0

    September 7, 2011 at 10:45 AM

Happy that Michael won not so much about Holly, I would have preferred Micheal and/or Michelle win somehow. Nothing against Graham. Holly has seemed really wishy-washy the whole show and well Blake seems rather full of himself so unless they run off and elope I doubt they’ll make it down the aisle but I guess they could surprise everyone by somehow making it last.

I don’t think anyone planned the engagement as a shot at Michael but if they’d really cared they could have kept cameras away. It further points to Holly being not worthy if she couldn’t break it to Michael beforehand especially after leading him on in the house, that was a bit harsh.

  15. nora j

    September 7, 2011 at 11:21 AM

Holly wasn’t leading Michael on…she still had feelings for him and she was confused. When she realized she liked Blake more than just an attraction and that Blake liked her, she let Michael know…look are you people forgetting Michael was the one that already broke it off with Holly…he knew that. I think Michael is a great guy and I’m glad he won the money but he is not meant to be with holly anymore. Blake is not a player…you people are blind. geez. He was single coming on the show and he made out with Melissa once and that was it…after that he wanted out but she practically threatened to make everyone hate him and kick him off the show if he didn’t continue to be her partner.

Michelle does not deserve the money. She was trying to act all nice on the show to redeem herself..she didn’t show her true side..she claims it was editing but that’s bs. Also Graham is no way in love with her. She said they’ve grown “closer” but that means nothing. Graham is not in love with her. Blake on the other hand actually loves Holly.

  16. nora j

    September 7, 2011 at 11:23 AM

what was up with Ames breaking up with Jackie…he seemed to really be into her. A little surprised by that..maybe when the Bachelorette started airing he started to get more attention and a bigger head and didn’t want to limit himself to her.

  17. nora j

    September 7, 2011 at 11:32 AM

another reason why I’m glad Graham and Michelle didn’t win..they cheated for the Nearly Wed Game and won…I mean I guess that was “smart” but it defeated the whole purpose of the game. It was just stupid after awhile.

  18. mommyof2

    September 7, 2011 at 12:28 PM

Thanks for the recap, Steve. I’m surprised that Michelle and Graham didn’t win, but I’m happy for Michael. His winning half the money may alleviate some of the heartbreak he may feel after finding out that Holly is engaged to Blake. I feel bad for Michael, but hopefully he’ll get over her and realize that the right person for him is out there somewhere and it’ll work out for him eventually. I’m sure he’ll have loads of women hitting him up for a date now!

As for Holly, I at first didn’t agree with her leading Michael on and going after Blake, but if she and Blake are truly in love and really do get married, then it obviously was meant to be, and who are we to judge? Everyone makes mistakes and would do things differently in hindsight in order to inflict less pain on those they care about.

  19. Sunnyside422

    September 7, 2011 at 12:33 PM

Surprised Holly and Michael won but I truly believe Michael got the pitty vote and Holly was just along as his partner. Nice windfall for her and Blake to start a life with.

Blake was single so was Holly. See nothing wrong with them together. He said he wished he had paired with her from the start and who knows what might have happened. A lot of the mess with Melissa has to rest on her shoulders also. Read waaay to much in his kisses and attention. Unless he proposed marriage to her, she should have just let go when he made it clear he didn’t want a romance. Erica was able to get over her disappointment in her date with Blake. Some women are needier than others.

I’m sure Melissa is a good person and needs to stay off reality shows produced by Fleiss. He’ll never be involved in a feel good, warm and fuzzy program. He is all about shock value and ratings for ABC.

Michael is very immature and needs to stop the whining and crying. They were done when Holly first laid eyes on Blake. But I agree she could have been much firmer with him in expressing her desire to be shed of him. She felt she was sparing him the hurt but instead really caused a heck of a lot more.

How could anyone possibly know that “Graham is in no way in love with” Michelle or that Blake “actually loves” Holly??? There are certain things that we can decipher from contestant behaviors, and other things we are not privy to. Blake may not be a player “out in the real world,” but what he did to Melissa was not cool. He already knew she was emotionally unstable (his own admission), yet he chose to make her believe he was interested in her beyond just a partnership – I understand the desire to win, but doing it at the sake of harming others is just cruel. Yes, Melissa is partly to blame, but come on – we’ve all encountered emotionally sensitive individuals in our lives. To play games with someone like that is beyond reprehensible. He made her believe he was romantically interested in her on their group date by kissing her and telling the other guys he had gotten the better end of the date. And Melissa confirms that they did more than just what was shown on camera. Holly – wow – where to begin. Now, I don’t know her personally, but some that do have commented about how she’s gotten around in the circle of male reality TV stars. First – gross. Secondly, I get that she asked Michael for a second chance, but come on – I can understand his hesitation. She called off their engagement!!! I’d be wary and need time to think things over as well! And her behavior on the show was also reprehensible. After her overnight with Blake, she hugs Michael and they discuss how they’d missed each other. That’s leading someone on. I never wish anyone ill will, but the reality is that these two are engaged after only 3 months, and they spent a great deal of that time apart. It’s natural to be in a romantic, honeymoon stage when you’ve only seen each other a handful of times at the onset of any relationship. But this reminds me of all the bachelor/bachelorette hook-ups – hot and heavy at first, dying off eventually. And all you’re left with is a needy, wishy-washy girl that has added yet another reality man to her notches, and a guy that has come off as smarmy and classless. They actually do deserve each other, but I doubt they’ll stay with each other.

  21. bp2watcher25

    September 7, 2011 at 12:55 PM

And as a side note, again, don’t know Holly, but her preference for reality stars makes me think she likes the limelight. Don’t know how much of that she’ll get in South Carolina. I smell a disaster waiting to happen.

Exactly. Their relationship has about as much substance at this point as when Vienna accepted a ring from Jake, or Emily from Brad. If they actually do walk down the aisle, I’ll wish them nothing but the best, but at this point I’m not holding my breath. Besides, what is she going to DO in South Carolina? $125,000 isn’t exactly enough money to live off for the rest of your life, and I’d think it would be very isolating to be there away from friends and family, and presumably no job. Not the kind of sacrifice I’d be willing to make for someone I’d known for a few months.

    September 7, 2011 at 7:39 PM

bp2watcher25….those are my opinions…I am right about these things a lot. I still stand by the fact that Graham is not in love with Michelle…I think he cares a lot about her but just watching Graham from The Bachelorette with DeAnna and how he acts on this show I am pretty sure he is not in love with Michelle…I could be wrong but I don’t think so. I think Blake does love Holly but again that is my opinion…if a guy proposes to a girl usually he is in love with her…not all the time but for the most part…but I could tell he liked her a lot and could possibly fall in love with her even before knowing he proposed.

I agree he did play Melissa a bit but Melissa had a big part in it. Bachelors and Bachelorettes make out all the time on the show it does not mean they are in love and exclusive. I think Kirk may have did something with Erica the first night? but Erica didn’t attach herself to him and expect him to be glued to her..Melissa like tried to suck Blake in…maybe he did feel some attraction to her and he responded but I just don’t think Blake is some big huge player…he didn’t get with any other girls on the show. He wanted to get rid of her after the first episode but she wouldn’t let him without giving him hell and turning everyone against him and considering she was friends with Michelle Blake was afraid of getting on Melissa’s bad side so he kind of just went along with what she wanted.

I do think it’s a little soon for Blake to be proposing but who knows…it could last or it may just fizzle out…I think they both liked eachother a lot on the show and make a cute couple so I think there’s a good chance they could last.

Its very interesting the low numbers of votes Graham and Michelle got. Stuff must have happened we did not see-or maybe Michelle was just too opinionated and Graham too disinterested and cold. Maybe Holly and Mikes triangle angst humanized them to the others.

I cannot believe they did the same “keep/share” thing. I am sure both teams talked it over. You would look like an A#1 A$$ if you screwed your team mate. All these people want entertainment careers after this so being a selfish jerk would only hurt their PR so I am sure they knew they had to say “share”.

Really Blake? First Ashley, now Holly? Don’t get me wrong. They both have banging bodies although Holly’s tits are paid for but beyond that they both have average faces at best. You are successful smart and very good looking. I could totally see you with someone as hot as Michelle Money Deanna Pappas or Emily Maynard. Holly is about as attractive as Vienna. As a successful professional the last thing you should want is some woman that has slept with more bachelor dudes than probably even Vienna. She reminds me of those girls that always needs a dude and someone to take care of her. Hope your family can talk some sense into you. They obviously raised an educated well spoken young man. Hope its not too late for you.

Hi everybody,is my first comment here … I’m from South America (Santa Cruz, Bolivia), excuse me for my poor english but I’m still working about it.

Still is funny how the Internet can close people from many differents places and how now you can watch series on line almost at the same time than USA like me.

Here, I was finishing of watching The Bachelor Pad Season 1 (with spanish subtitles), When I was searching on Internet about the program, I realized about of the broadcasting of The Bachelor Pad Season 2 and I had the fortune of finding the episodes at one site, because I was trying to watch the show at abc site but is forbidden for foreign countries.

I recently finish of watching the whole show in only one day until episode 5. I really don’t know what person’s kind are everyone who was participating on the show… but I’m so happy for Holly and Blake because they made me enjoy one of the most lovely scenes when they were going out and there was a genuine spark on both sides, playing like kids with snow and enjoying the time together. Now I realized that many people don’t like Holly and Blake, but I only wanted to give my view point. Cheers.

Inasmuch as I figured that Ella and Kirk would not win or be in the finals, I wanted them to win. I think they are the only two, besides Michael who played with integrity…or at least integrity according to the definition on Bachelor Pad. I’m okay with Michael winning and I have to say, I’m glad he was one of them. I guess everyone on the show thought Michael got the biggest knife of all, so at least they showed some spunk.

Do I believe Kasey feels bad about the things he said about Jake? No way. What a crock. As a matter of fact, I can’t stop laughing. And OMG…of all cities… Krienna has to move to L.A. Hopefully I won’t bump into them. Doesn’t Jake live in L.A. as well? We get all the dregs.

Well I’m one of those who really likes Ben so I don’t give a fig what they called him in the press release. Here’s the definition of Renaissance Man, however:

“A Renaissance Man or Polymath is a person whose expertise spans a significant number of different subject areas.”

Probably the term is not used in the exact correct form, but whatever. It’s not a major problem for me. I thought the write up was sweet and I don’t care what Ben did in that video any more than I cared what Clinton did when he was in the White House. I judge people on what I see now and what their accomplishments are. Ben seems to have a head on his shoulder, is sweet and has a damn good career. It’s not like he’s 43. He’s only 27 or 28. That’s one of the reasons I never faulted Holly. She’s young. I hope btw she and Blake will be happy. I can’t see it lasting, but I don’t know either of them. So perhaps Ben did something not so acceptable to some people, but what I see of his character…whether scripted or not…appeals to me for the first time in the history of this ultra silly show. YAY Ben. Period.

Engaged? I was shocked to hear that one! Like Holly couldn’t have gotten ahold of Michael to tell him ahead of time. Terrible. I would have laughed so hard if he’d said “Keep” and she got nothing. That would have been hilarious! I don’t think people would have faulted him for it either.
