@cece931, although I disagree with DawsMA that the term “drink the kool-aid” is all that offensive, she is correct that children were for all intents & purposes killed by their parents during the Jonestown massacres. Yes, the parents committed suicide, but they also had their children drink that same cyanide laced kool-aid. It is definitely a very tragic story, but I think that term- although having originated with that event- has taken on a life of it’s own 30 years after the event.

@liz123, thanks for clearing that up for me. I guess it was just that her response was vague if you ask me. It wasn’t just the children that died from drinking it but everyone in the cult. She never mentioned it was Jonestown. Anywho, I too agree that the term isn’t that offensive either.

Jen WAS screening (he says so during the video and asks her a question) and he did mention that he was surprised there was only one lawsuit question so either she was not letting those questions get through or he had instructed her to do that and was trying to play innocent. Also, he spoke about Miley Cyrus’ engagement in response to a question.

@randais: then Jen the screener needs to be fired.

Nobody (with the exception of the tween that asked the stupid question), logged into that vblog to hear RS’s opinion on Miley Cyrus’ engagement. We don’t care about that kind of nonsense.

What we DID log in for was to hear more about the lawsuit and his involvement. Regardless of whether he ignored the questions or told Jen to ignore them, he KNEW they were there and he simply avoided the topic.

In my book, that makes him a coward.

I don’t understand why everyone is bashing Steve for not talking about the law suit. Maybe his lawyers advised him not to. He doesn’t need to tell us anything.

Couldn’t agreet with your more, JovisMom. Why do some people feel Steve owns them any kind of explanation? Other than those that perhaps contributed to his donation, he doesn’t owe anyone anything. And if some feel that they deserve an explation, then send him an e-mail.

@Cammie I can respect that you have an opinion and certain expectations with regard to what you want to see/hear when you watch RS’s vblog. I was simply clarifying what I observed while watching it myself.

Steve’s lawyers didn’t tell him how to raise money to pay his legal bills — lawyers don’t care — everyone’s money is green.

Steve asked people for money without painting the whole picture — so he needs to be a man and explain his logic and reasoning for how he justifies that.

Saying Steve is a coward is an understatement.

Haha, “Shocker”!!! Hey Dianne and Jovis, why don’t you sign into the CHAT during the next video and see what’s really being said?

Couldn’t agree more (shocker!), he is a coward !!! I just don’t understand why he doesn’t answer the difficult questions instead of the RS propaganda, and who cares about Roberto, Miley, NBA & president when we’re talking about the show & lawsuit. Time to manu up dude.

Ugh, I can hardly stand watching this season. Emily is on her E-game tonight, E G O!!!

I absolutely cannot believe when she said to Sean “guys with your looks are usually boring”. Sean was a class act, but how in the h*ll do you respond to something like that? Is that an inside-out insult or compliment?

Caligirl, Do you have an answer for us yet?

@ aatex – I’m not talking about the money he tried to raise, I’m talking about the law suit in general. You say you are lawyer, isn’t there any situation where you would advise a client to NOT discuss the law suit?(I’m not a lawyer but I’m pretty sure there are some reasons why you would want to keep some things hush hush)You didn’t donate any money to him to begin with so what do you care? I donated and I don’t. It’s his business.

Jovi, I don’t care about the details of the lawsuit, I just wish that he would openly admit that he may have misled his readers and contributors and for that he is sorry. Period, that’s how long a sentence it would take. Last Thursday was his prime-time to answer questions his readers had. The questions were ignored.

Steve said ABC did not put any stipulation on him about discussing the case, in fact they required him to publically post the details on his blog and fess up. I guess in a way, he did admit his wrongdoing… but the peeps he entertains deserved a personal apology.

And since it’s a major corporation I work with, you don’t have to tell anyone to keep hush-hush, they know right from wrong – but you darn well pay a big price if you twist the truth in any way, and as we found in Steve’s case, computers never lie and emails are never really completely deleted.

So, I won’t ask again. Issue over, it’s not going to happen.

As for the show, I’m now Team-Jef and Team-Arie and while the first hour of the show was a bit slow, the last hour I finally found this season might get interesting afterall, and a love story might come out of this.

Did anybody else think Emily was kind of punishing Arie by making him wait for the very last rose? Ems is definitely into Arie, but she seemed a little more than pissed off that he “didn’t have her back”.

Aatex, my favs are also Jef and Arie, boy are they cute!

I think Arie is just the total package. How funny was his acting stint?:). I am still hoping he will be the bachelor.

I agree that Emily was punishing him with the last rose…Idk, i saw his side on why he didn’t say anything.

@JovisMom, I think everyone knows that there are times that lawyers would tell you not to disclose certain things publicly. That’s obvious & we all get it. aatex isn’t looking for every little detail of the lawsuit. IMO, what she & others are asking for is more of an admission (& a show of remorse?) by RS that he intentionally worded things that he did disclose in a certain way to manipulate his readers into feeling sorry for him & donating.

@aatex, I did think Emily was punishing Arie by making him wait until the last rose. I do understand where she was coming from, though. I think I would’ve been hurt/ pissed off too. I did think that Arie should’ve said more when they had their talk about him not sticking up for her. If I was him, I would’ve said “I didn’t say anything in that moment when you were confronting Kalon b/c I didn’t want to make you feel like I thought you needed a man to do your dirty work”. I guess he was just caught off guard & didn’t know what to say.

Oh, but for the record, I’m Team-Jef all the way! I don’t think on the surface he’s all that good looking, but his personality, charm, & confidence make him better looking with every episode!

@Sandy, I have no idea how Love_Me spoiled the F1 before the FRC. If I had to guess, I’d say maybe Emily’s ending will be somewhat similar to Ali’s, in that she sends Sean home before the FRC to spare his feelings and not let him go through the torture of proposing and getting shot down. Maybe word got out on the set that Emily already knew her choice a few days before the FRC and it got leaked out? No clue. Just speculation on my part!

But, for what it’s worth, I’m not questioning Jef as the F1 anymore after seeing last night’s episode.

I hadn’t seen the other F1 spoilers, so Jef is the guy eh? I’m happy with that one, he’s about the first ‘real’ thing I’ve seen this season… patiently waiting for it to get better and it seems to be.

Thanks Caligirl, Thats all I needed to hear. 🙂

Honestly, Jef seems nice a nice kid and all, but seriously, Emily needs a mature man….

Forgot to add… There is another site that is reporting *Confirmed* that Sean gets the final rose. Sounds like all of these sites are just pure speculation….
