The Bachelorette 10 - Andi

Spying on Andi’s Hometown in Dallas & Spoilers To Expect From This Season of the “Bachelorette”

A few columns ago, I teased you with some questions I said I’d answer later on. Well, today is your lucky day. Here are your answers:

-Who got the first impression rose? Nick Viall.
-Who had the adrenaline date? Before Marcus & Andi had dinner and the concert in Connecticut, they rappelled down the side of Mohegan Sun.
-Outside of the limo exits, what ridiculous/crazy/stupid thing happened on night one? Gonna hold to this one for a little longer since it’s pretty ridiculous, but not surprising.
-Is there a 2-on-1 date this season? No.
-What happened the first night that we’ve never seen before? Andi’s dad was at the cocktail party and talked to the guys.
-What 1-on-1 date mimicked a TV show? In Santa Barbara, JJ and Andi dressed up as old people on their 1-on-1 and played pranks on people a la “Jackass.” Or Betty White’s “Off Her Rocker.”
-Who got eliminated before a rose ceremony? Well, you know Eric did after what I told you. Ron had to leave the show because of an emergency when a friend of his died. There’s another as well.

Here are some things to know…

-Eric goes home in Connecticut
-One of the guys who does one of the solo performances on the stripping date is the guy who ends up getting the group date rose
-There is a Juan Pablo soccer reference in someone’s limo entrance
-We do have our seasonal drunk person who can’t hold their liquor
-A cocktail party is cancelled

And here are some more teases for you…

-Which professional team appears on this season?
-Who is sent home on their 1-on-1?
-Who gets a group date rose one episode, but then is eliminated the next episode?
-Who is sending Andi anonymous love letters all season?

I could absolutely strangle Andi and Marcus. You finally get to date-stalk a Bachelor/ette couple, and they’re BORING. NOT. FAIR. This could have been Reality Steve GOLD, but nooooooo… That said, I love that the producer took a pic of you watching them. Because, obviously, now you’re busted. 😉

The joking aside, I think your handling of Eric Hill’s death has been sensitive and kind. Like many, I’m curious about his exit, but I trust you to make the right decisions regarding the reveal (or non-reveal). He does sound like he was an exceptional individual, and my sympathies go out to his family and friends.

Too bad Steve doesn’t have that producers cell phone number….Then he could send a few selfies, just so ABC has a variety of shots of him….*LOL*

I wonder how much it costs them to clear out parts of some of those restaurants for however long the filming lasts. I imagine they have to compensate the servers well for the lost tips.

Yes, a picture of you was needed. Because your face is definitely not the first thing you see on your website anyway.

I doubt that the restaurant gets any money. As Steve pointed out it was empty pre-date. Why would you think that the servers get money? Not working in a restaurant = no money.

My guess is that there are hundreds of places willing to host a shooting for free and counting on the pub to bring in paying customers.

I totally wish The Bachelor came her so I could gawk and take pictures and have producers take my picture. That would be, like, so totally awesome.

Holy cow !! I am inundated with commericals on your website! There is so much clutter, noise and distraction, that there is barely room for the article, which should be the main focus of your website, am I right? I enjoy the wit and intelligence of your articles but wish I could read just one article without being distracted with the constant commercials. It’s really becoming intolerable Steve. Sorry, I have to move on.
