Bachelorette Kaitlyn Spoilers

Who Joined the “Bachelorette” Yesterday, & Where They’re Headed Next

“Daily Links” is getting pushed back until tomorrow. I mean, I know we’re still all in mourning over Zayn leaving “One Direction,” but it’ll be ok. I think. I frankly don’t know what I’m gonna do with myself, but hey, that’s just me. When one of the most popular boy bands ever loses it’s probably least talked about guy, that’s big time news. However, the “Bachelorette” comes first and after getting news late last night and early this morning, I’m putting “Daily Links” on the back burner until tomorrow. I mentioned to you yesterday that I was working on something pretty big and would let you know if it was true. Well, I believed it to be true, then events happened yesterday afternoon which made me think it wasn’t true, and then stuff happened last night which all but confirmed it. I don’t think it’s too hard to figure out at this point if you were following along with my tweets yesterday during the rap battle group date, but in case you weren’t, here is a quick rundown of yesterday’s date at Studio48 in Midtown:

-There were 8 guys on the date (some I’ve revealed to you, some I haven’t). It was a rap battle with Doug E. Fresh as the moderator. Four 1-on-1 “battles” with the “winner” chosen by the audience
-The guys that were on the date that you know about are Corey, JJ, Ryan B., and Tanner. The other 4 I will give you later, one of which is a black guy. Yes, we have a black guy that’s made it to episode 4! And no, it’s not the black guy from the boxing group date either
-Kaitlyn warmed things up by rapping first and managed to rhyme sh*t with Britt
-Ashley I., Nick V., and Sharleen were all in attendance just watching
-JJ and Clint had some serious bromance going on this season since a lot of the guys seemed to reference it in their raps, including Kaitlyn. Clint was eliminated last rose ceremony
-JJ got boo’ed by the audience after working a Duke Lacrosse rape joke into his rap vs Corey. He also called him “Patrick Bateman” from the “Psycho” movies. Yeah, Corey kinda does look like Christian Bale a little bit
-Consensus was that Corey was the best rapper of the night. Dressed the part. Wore a beanie. Tucked his shirt into his underwear as you can see in this pic:

So that was the gist of what happened in the rap battles. I will have who rapped off against who and who “won” each battle once I release the names and bios of the other 4 guys I know about.

Now, lets get to the news that has been swirling for two days. I’ll let you know how it all came about. Tuesday night I was told that Nick Viall was gonna go join Kaitlyn’s season. It was the first I heard of it, which is why yesterday I said I was working on something, and I was gonna see if it was true or not. Then yesterday, Nick was at the group date with Ashley I. and Sharleen sitting in the back just watching, so I thought maybe the info I had was technically wrong. Yeah, he was on Kaitlyn’s season, but he was actually just there to watch one of the date. So even though I thought it was weird he was there to watch a date, I didn’t think he was actually entering as a contestant on the show because they sure as hell weren’t trying to hide him. Nick was taking pictures with fans after the taping. Also this morning, a radio host on 99.1 The Mix in Milwaukee named Elizabeth reported that she heard from a “reliable source,” that Nick was obsessed with Kaitlyn and was going on the show to ask her to date him.

Last night, I received word (and pictures) that Nick was filming alone with Kaitlyn at Chelsea Piers and they were definitely making out. Here’s pictures of Nick with producer Elan and then him with Kaitlyn. Obviously you can’t see them making out, but I trust my source to know what they saw. Nick and Kaitlyn were making out:

Every time in the past when we’ve seen a contestant enter late (minus Byron’s season), or a contestant come back after being eliminated, the lead always gives the “it just wouldn’t be fair to the other people” speech and sends them on their way. We saw Ben do it with Shawntel when she showed up in San Francisco in episode 3, we saw Andi shoot down Chris Bukowski’s advances in her first episode, and we saw Chris do it last season when Jordan tried to return in New Mexico. Well apparently that wasn’t the case for Kaitlyn as she was sucking face with the guy at Chelsea Piers last night, so the hell with the guys already there. Nice Kaitlyn. I’m sure the guys are gonna love that. Whatever the case, that’s where we’re at. I mean, it sure as hell seems like Nick is a contestant on the show now if he’s seen being filmed making out with her. I’m just putting two and two together here. He wanted on the show to ask to date her, and then they’re seen making out alone while being filmed, so it sure looks and sounds like Kaitlyn is up for it.

I just don’t know what the point of having him show up at the group date was, but that’s a discussion for another time. My guess is at the group date, none of the guys saw him anyway, and Nick made his appearance at the after party, pulled Kaitlyn aside to tell her he was interested in dating her, then jammed his tongue down her throat and now it’s on like Donkey Kong. It’s just funny to me after everything Nick put himself through in Andi’s season, and the embarrassment of the plane videos that I got, then him calling Andi out for making love to him in the fantasy suite only to then dump him, I can’t believe he’s going back to do this. But hey, not my life. A quick look at his Twitter account clearly shows this guy has had a hard on for Kaitlyn ever since Chris’ season. He’s made that well known. But to actually act upon it? Oh boy. Things just got interesting.

As we know, filming is in New York right now. They are at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square, so anyone that wants to go stalk them, be my guest. When I reported about New York a couple weeks ago, I assumed they were going to NY because they’d be heading overseas afterwards since 4 of the last 5 “Bachelorette” seasons, they did an East Coast city before heading over to Europe. That’s not the case this time. At least for their next stop it isn’t. After New York, filming for episode 5 next week will be in…San Antonio, TX. Shhhhhhheeeeeeeeeeooooooooottttt! “The stars at night, are big and bright, (clap clap clap clap), deep in the heart of Texas!” They will be staying at the St. Anthony Hotel in downtown San Antonio. The hotel is currently under construction and isn’t really even open to the public until May 21st, but events/weddings are still being held there in the meantime. I’m guessing the Riverwalk and the Alamo are a couple of places they will film for dates. Please, please, please if someone gets a date at the Alamo, will you please ask where the basement is? Please? I don’t ask much. Just so I can hear the tour guide say, “There’s no basement at the Alamo” and then have the rest of the tourists laugh at you. You know, like what happened to Pee Wee when he was looking for his bike:

So there you go. Big day of info in “Bachelorette” land. Lets see where this Nick story takes us. If you enter the show in episode 4, you’re either getting sent home that night, or you’re gonna last a while. If Kaitlyn couldn’t keep her tongue out of his mouth, my guess is Nick is gonna be around a while, but we’ll see. Man, and he thought the guys on Andi’s season ganged up on him a lot? Just wait til they see Kaitlyn kept him around. Back tomorrow with “Daily Links.”

Nick is just going to become the next Chris Bukowski. Maybe Kaitlyn let him on because she’s not interested in any of the other guys.

2 points: (and I quite possibly could be way off here)
but doesn’t Nick appear to be a few bricks short of a load not walking away from the Bachelor/Bachelorette family and moving on with his life? Second observation: This season of The Bachelorette is turning into a carnival side show. Chris’s season is looking almost believable/copacetic in comparison to this 2 bachorlette/has-been-cameo appearance of this dude ( who is one of those annoying people that yak on their phone super loud as if they are the only people on the planet)

wow, Nick is super disgusting and such a douche. Why in the world would Kaitlyn even want Andi’s leftovers. I mean you’ve already seen what lengths he’ll go to embarrass someone in front of a national audience. This guy is beyond creeper.

#Boo. Didn’t like him before, not looking forward to seeing him on the show.

I agree that he’s giving Bukowski a run for his money in the “desperate to stay in the spotlight” category. But Kaitlyn hasn’t been known for her thoughtful and classy behavior, so they might be a great match.

Nick can drag all their intimate behavior out into the spotlight and Kaitlyn can rap about it.

I noticed Nick was tweeting this morning. If he’s on The Bachelorette, wouldn’t he not be allowed to use social media?

    March 26, 2015 at 12:31 PM

@Jessicat I saw that he’s been tweeting today. That’s weird because they take their phones away. Maybe she made out with him then told him to leave, lol.

@lein1210 Nick mat be ‘Andi’s leftovers’ but when you think about it so was Chris.

    Chris never slept with Andi.

  11. vessel

    March 26, 2015 at 1:41 PM

@angelfish, I guess, but pretty much everyone you date has slept with someone else when you get to Kaitlyn’s age. I don’t get what difference it makes that it was Andi that Nick slept with. I mean it isn’t like she’s Kaitlyn’s friend.

Most of this information has already been all over social media. ABC is basically spoiling there own season. They are asking people to come to these events and people are taking pictures and videos with their phones.

I can’t believe after Nick was so torn apart over Andi he’d want to go after someone else. Andi and Kaitlyn are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Andi was classy. Kaitlyn is, well, not. I don’t think a group of men chose her over Britt, after one night it’s all about superficial aspect. I think this season is set up and to me it looks like a train wreck. We’ll see though becuase you can bet I’ll be tuning in just to watch it.

Before I get into dissing all of you with mental medical diagnostic terminology….let me just first say, couldn’t stand Nick then and certainly won’t stomach him any better now

The guy is like a whiny hormonal teenager, I believe Kaitlyn will sniff that out quickly.

I’m a closet Bachelor watcher. It’s too embarrassing to let anyone but my closest family members know that I engage in this IQ-lowering habit. I lose at least 100,000 neurons watching each episode. Luckily, most of us have lots to spare.

What’s worse, I’d never thought I’d comment on RS. My IQ has surely dropped again. (But I do enjoy spoilers. Thanks RS!)

However, I wanted to voice a very different opinion than what has been written in this comments section.

Nick Viall, Sharlene Joynt, Becca Tilley, (and hopefully Kaitlyn, – we’ll have to watch and see), are the only people who have been on this show to display real authenticity and honesty, and at the same time, maintain their dignity. A few others have displayed a modicum of these traits.

I’m excited to see NV on the show. Finally, this show has stepped up a notch in the class and authenticity department. I’m now excited to watch, while I lose a little less neurons . . .

    Can you say trainwreck?

  19. justforfun

    March 26, 2015 at 7:48 PM

@embarrassed2watch – I can relate. None of my friends know that I’m a closet bachelor watcher. It’s a guilty pleasure, and everyone needs some mindless entertainment to help cope with the real stress of the world around us. I would rather chat about this meaningless (fake) drama than discuss why a pilot took down an entire commercial aircraft. I find the latter overwhelming, and depressing.

I don’t have an opinion regarding Nick either way. He seems like an OK guy, able to make fun of himself. He’s also a salesperson, so he knows how to sell himself.

  20. susiangh

    March 26, 2015 at 9:29 PM

Actually Katelyn did the same to Chris what Nick did to Andy about the “making love” stuff. They are the same.

  21. fcew

    March 26, 2015 at 9:38 PM

@susiangh What?! When did Kaitlyn ever express explicitly that they had sex?!

  22. serapa

    March 27, 2015 at 6:18 AM

My take is that Kaitlyn is not particularly looking for a boyfriend. She’s looking to have fun. Sure she’ll pick someone who she has hooked up with and they’ll date for a while…but when it’s not fun anymore, Kaitlyn will move on.

I bet she’s really horny right now too! Hello vibrator!. Heck I’d be horny too if I had 25 hot guys trying to win me over in different destinations. What an amazing experience.

  23. rob22

    March 27, 2015 at 8:23 AM

@embarrassed2watch- I don’t agree that those listed are authentic. Sharleen turned her 15 minutes into a Bachelor blog (All the Pretty Pandas) & has shown up at Bachelor events. That’s fame whoring, which is the opposite of authentic. I don’t blame her for doing it, but it does mean she didn’t go on the show for “love”, especially not love with our English challenged amigo Huan Pah-blow. As for Nick Cialis, he’s auditioning for the understudy role to Chris Butt-kowski. That’s hardly authentic. Kaitlyn’s now into round 2 of her 15 minutes, after getting dumped by Old McDonald a night after performing the reverse cowboy. Of course, one could argue that she dodged a bullet there in not having to move to Siberia & stare awkwardly a stuttering farmer 24 X 7. I’ll agree on Becca theoretically only because I have no idea why she went on the show. At least until she comes out with her own line of chastity belts.

  24. rob22

    March 27, 2015 at 8:35 AM

Check that: Sharleen is writing a blog in which she’s fully monetized the content & is blogging about lingerie. Lingerie that she is hyping on the site. She is also now writing for a Canadian magazine. I guess that beat writing for the Arlington News, but OK, yeah. Nevermind. Anyway, this is all great. Hey, you go girl, and all that…. But authentic? I guess you could say that in that she cops to the fact that she went on to the show for attention & exposure, as they all do, she’s not pretending. But still…. authentic? I’d pick another word.

  25. coffeeinchicago

    March 27, 2015 at 9:25 AM

Well there goes my theory about Clint.

New theory, Nick wins it. He’s douchey but I have a feeling Kaitlyn likes that.

  26. embarrassed2watch

    March 27, 2015 at 9:36 AM

@rob22 OMG!!! You know who you remind me of? The old Reality Steve, when he was hilarious. Long ago, in the early days, after reading an RS recap, I’d be keeling on the floor laughing, and my husband would come in the room and ask, “Oh, you’re reading RS again aren’t you?” Nowadays, I don’t even read the recaps because they’re boring and not funny.

And this morning, I read about Old MacDonald, chasity belts, Siberia and Nick Cialis, and I’m ROFLMAO, and I could have sworn it was RS writing this. RS should hire you.

Regarding your views on Nick and Sharlene, we are miles apart in our opinions. But that’s for another day . . . (These two are my favourite participants of all of time. Classy, not douchey. Intelligent, not arrogant. Willing to see their own flaws authentically, not fake. Seizing opportunities wisely, not fame-whoring).

Anyway, thanks for my morning laugh @rob22!!

  27. embarrassed2watch

    March 27, 2015 at 9:44 AM

@justforfun Ain’t that the truth? Much easier to follow (mostly) fake drama and romance than to try to understand why someone with mental illness would just not opt to take his own life solo.

On a more upbeat note, I tried coming out of the closet once with a really close girlfriend. She has always had the greatest respect for me, both personally and professionally. When I came out with my Bachelor/Bachelorette secret, she started to laugh, and said that I had just shattered her illusion of me, and her respect went from magnaminous to zero in a split second with my Bachelor confession. Oh well. Back to the closet I shall go. 🙂

    March 27, 2015 at 11:03 AM

@embarassed2watch I too watch for the sheer stupidity of it all but unlike you, everyone I know, knows that I do! I love a good reality train-wreck. I am really not here for the “right” reasons.

Anyway I have to say that I agree wholeheartedly with you when you said :

“Nick Viall, Sharlene Joynt, Becca Tilley, (and hopefully Kaitlyn, – we’ll have to watch and see), are the only people who have been on this show to display real authenticity and honesty, and at the same time, maintain their dignity. A few others have displayed a modicum of these traits.”

Don’t forget Ben though. At least before he actually became The Bachelor himself. When he basically told off Ashley, it was brilliant. Nick wasn’t the only one to call Andi out either. I also appreciated Eric Hill (RIP) calling her out on her authenticity. He, I recall, did it in the classiest way possible. She did not react very well however.

RS I am sad that you made me love Clint
and now he’s been eliminated! Say it isn’t so!

Regarding Nick and the ones that said yes to the comeback kids. You forgot fellow Canuck Jillian Harris who decided to “Love it” (Ed) rather than “List it” (sorry for the horrible pun, I could not resist). Mind you, it was very late in the season, I don’t even recall if they were living at the mansion or on tour at this point.

I think if Bentley had asked Ashley to come back though, she would have been all over that. Bentley leaving btw, was one of my favorite reality moments ever. So good. Inspired one of my favorite ever Burning Love episodes (best show ever!).

Oh and as far as @embarrassed2watch using the wrong word “authentic”? I couldn’t disagree with the lot of you more. Their reactions to the situations that Nick, Becca and Sharlene were put in at that particular moment were clearly authentic. What they chose to do with their lives after is irrelevant and not in same context as the show. I saw a whole lot of honesty there.

  30. hattiebloom

    March 27, 2015 at 11:46 AM

Okay….all of you “I’m embarrassed I watch this show because I’m clearly above it…..” are making me laugh. This is like people on prefacing their profile with, “I never thought I’d do this.”

I’m ashamed that I actually have an account on this silly blog, I’m ashamed I read People magazine and comment on their website…..whatever. No one is “above” watching this show.

Mindless entertainment and escapism is the spice of life!!

On another note, Sharleen. Is she authentic? In real life she sure seems like it. I have read and enjoyed her blog. She’s a real girl’s girl and all about female empowerment. She’s an intelligent woman.

On the other hand, when she was on Bachelor and pretended that she had just been air dropped from Mars and didn’t have any idea what was going on…I was completely unimpressed. She’s been watching this show for a long time and knows the routine. Her self-appointed label of being unique and “they didn’t know what to do with me” was really egocentric and a turnoff. She’s redeemed herself in many ways, but I can certainly see how someone could view her as an opportunist.

Nick, on the other hand strikes me as someone who when spurned will become a bunny boiler. He’s way too feminine energy for my taste.

  31. embarrassed2watch

    March 27, 2015 at 2:14 PM

    @hattiebloom Bingo!

“Mindless entertainment and escapism is the spice of life!!”

Being embarrassed to watch this show and write on this blog has nothing to do with hierarchical tastes.

It’s more about, – who do I share this “secret” with? This blog is anonymous, so it’s easy. My children and husband know I watch, but that’s it. In the world outside The Bachelor/Bachelorette, believe it or not, most people (at least in my world), either have never heard about this series or see it as no-mind trash and a useless waste of time. Whether one makes fun of the show or not, it still takes energy and time to watch it. Therefore, I love your above comment, and I’ll use it as a rebuttable for the comments coming from my family when I’m “wasting my valuable time”.

I also watch this show, because once in a blue moon, a love relationship does work out, and isn’t that always the hope? and surprise?

Nick? Don’t know the guy personally, but for me, definitely not a bunny boiler (had to look that one up –
I learn something new everyday!) And by “feminine energy”, if you mean compassionate, understanding, accepting, gentle, and perceptive, I would whole heartedly agree with you.

  32. rob22

    March 27, 2015 at 2:37 PM

Yes, and Nick’s bunny-boiler moment was when he outed Andi for sleeping with him. That was pretty mean spirited. It was meant to poison Andi and Josh’s fake relationship. Yep, we need more like Nick on the show to make it interesting. Smarmy & sleezy is great TV.

  33. Jeanne

    March 27, 2015 at 10:35 PM

I know I’m going to take a lot of heat for this, but I thought Nick was 1000 times hotter and sexier than Josh… and I still do.

    March 28, 2015 at 10:56 AM

    Just shows ta go ya!
@hattiebloom, I do indeed agree with you on this one. 🙂

@rob22 and others on Sharleen. She was a favorite of mine on Juan Pablo’s season and I’ve been reading her blogs since they began.

I don’t think she went into this to gain fame; that it was more of a lark – as she said. She reported afterward that doing this actually hurt her as an aspiring opera singer because many in the opera world thought it showed she wasn’t serious about the opera path. I have clients in opera and my guess is they’d be all over the map on this one. But in that extremely competitive world, even one person can make or break an artist.

Unlike Bradley The Opera Singer, who reportedly sang every opportunity possible to show off his voice (most of which they cut), Sharleen not only didn’t try to seize the opportunities but when she finally gave in to Juan Pablo to sing, clearly wasn’t crazy about doing it.

AFTER the show, she started blogging as many others do. Readers love her insight, her wit, her style, and to this day beg her to keep writing. Opera is a very demanding career and to take time out to write for us – her readers have been telling her for months she should run ads to be compensated in some way for her time. The Nippie pasties she wrote about was because so many people ask how she manages those backless gowns. She said it was FYI and she has no connection to the company – and knew women would want to know where to find them to buy.

These people go through so much humiliation etc. being on this show, thin-skinned me can’t even imagine. I don’t begrudge them having some good come of it afterward. Unfortunately, it does lead to thinly-veiled fame seekers pretending (badly) to be looking for love, as apparently happened with Juan Pablo and others, when really all they’re interested in is using it as a stepping stone to other show biz, etc. People don’t like watching bad acting.

    March 29, 2015 at 3:08 PM

@susiangh sadly, even if she said the same exact words that Nick did, our society is still going to frown more on Andi than on Chris, purely because of the sexist way that women are supposed to be chaste. Men are sowing their wild oats, so it’s ok in our society that Chris sleeps with all of them. It’s not ok for Andi to sleep with both because she’s not supposed to be a sexual being.

Regardless, you don’t kiss and tell. Especially NOT on national television! So Nick gets a “Giant Douchebag” label from me.
