UnREAL is Here! Exclusive Clip from Tonight’s Premiere Episode

It’s finally here! After 3 weeks of promotion, numerous clips, media hype, and industry buzz, UnREAL returns tonight for the first episode of season 2. In case you STILL haven’t gotten caught up on season 1, it’s certainly not too late. You can view all 10 episodes of season one on Hulu right here. Could you watch season 2 without having seen season 1? I guess. But to get yourself familiarized with the cast, the crew, the agenda they’re pushing, etc it’s probably best that you get yourself acquainted with the likes of Rachel, Quinn, Chet, Jeremy & the rest of them.

After watching this season preview clip, I gotta say it’s looking like season 2 might outdo season 1. This one will give you clips throughout the whole season. Further on down the column, you’ll get a taste of what to expect tonight. I have a feeling as ruthless as Quinn and Rachel were in season 1, it’s ramped up even more this season. Check out what these two are up to when the first black suitor graces “Everlasting”…

One thing to remember for tonight is I will be live tweeting the show on my Twitter, @RealitySteve, along with interacting with the @UnRealLifetime account. This will be fun. Already hearing that Rachel actually becomes Quinn’s boss this season at some point, so I want to see how that dynamic works. And speaking of Rachel, is she still looney? Is Jeremy still stuck on her? I gotta imagine they are going to revisit that whole relationship from last season. They have to. I mean, the two of them did it in the production truck in between shoots. You can’t possibly ignore something as juicy as that, can you? Also, where are we with Quinn’s stake in “Everlasting?” Didn’t she essentially blackmail Chet last season for stealing her idea and he relented? So many questions and so little answers. I guess that’s what tonight is for. To find out where we’re headed after last season’s train wreck. Personally, this show revolves around the Rachel/Quinn dynamic, so Chet is pretty much expendable to me at this point.

Although last season’s suitor, Adam (played by Freddie Stroma) is signed for season 2, we don’t know for how many episodes or what his role will be this season. Our new suitor is Darius Beck, a former NFL star using this show to clean up a tarnished image. I’m sure that’ll go well for him. One thing Darius has going for him – he’s black. Something the networks certainly aren’t used to. And if Rachel & Quinn had a field day manipulating Adam last season, I wonder exactly how they’ll manage that with Darius. Is it even possible? I mean, he’s gotta know what “Everlasting” is all about, right? It’s been on for years and years. But as is the case with most of these shows, they are made in casting. And our group of 20 contestants competing for Darius I’m sure will be littered with crazies, drunks, sluts, and the like. Buckle up tonight. This is gonna be good.

And because I’m such a good guy, here’s an exclusive clip from tonight’s premiere where Quinn and Rachel are pitching the network executive on a black suitor for “Everlasting.” Needles to say, he’s not too thrilled. Enjoy…

UnREAL premieres tonight at 10/9c on Lifetime.
