UnREAL in Partnership with Lifetime

(EXCLUSIVE CLIP): The Return of Adam on Tonight’s Episode of UnREAL

Ahhhhh, it’s been a couple weeks but we’re back talking about America’s favorite summer show. Don’t believe me? says UnREAL is the #1 show on television right now for the barriers it’s breaking down and addressing things we don’t just see on television very often. Not to mention, they are all over the Quinn/Rachel relationship saying it’s one of the best on TV. We all saw what Quinn was up to at the end of last episode, calling Rachel’s boy toy and the suitor, Adam, from last season to come in and shake things up with Rachel and Coleman’s little love tryst.

This season really is hitting its stride at this point. So many different things going on, all while Rachel is off her meds and acting like a lunatic. I think we can all see where this is headed now. Rachel is unstable. Chet knows it, Jeremy knows it, but most importantly, Quinn knows it. And Quinn’s using it to her advantage. Sure, Rachel thinks she’s found her Prince Charming in Coleman, but wasn’t Jeremy her guy last season? And then it was Adam to come in and save the day? And look what happened to them. This show isn’t about Rachel escaping “Everlasting” and finding her happiness. It never will be – nor should it be. And that’s what Quinn is preying on. Why else bring in Adam to screw up her relationship with Coleman? How is that any different than her sabotaging her relationship with Adam last season just when she thought he was gonna whisk her away to Europe? Here’s an exclusive clip from tonight when Rachel’s past meets her present:

Rachel’s life is “Everlasting,” as badly as she tries to pretend it isn’t. All these guys coming in and out of her life are a momentary escape from that and nothing more. This show is built around the feminine dynamic of Quinn and Rachel. There’s not a chance in hell that Quinn would ever let Rachel leave her side. She sees her slipping away momentarily – BOOM! – here comes Adam back into the picture. I’m not sure what twists and turns are in store for Rachel over these final four episodes, I just know ultimately we will probably see Rachel back with Quinn when it’s all said and done. Coleman will be long gone, and Adam will be a thing of the past. Right now, what happens with Jeremy is the most interesting thing to me. Maybe he ends up becoming her Prince Charming in the end even after all they’ve been through? We shall see.

UnREAL airs on Lifetime tonight at 10/9c.

And a big congratulations that UnREAL was nominated for 3 Emmys including Constance Zimmer who was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series! Chris Harrison can suck it when he says that “no one is watching”…guess what? It looks like some VERY important people are watching…and noticing…

I love the show but I wish for one thing. I wish there was at least one person on the show that has some compassion, love, or someone who is nice. I like a mixture of mean, backstabbing, power happy people and some people with redeeming qualities. Does everyone need to be awful? But, I do love the show and won’t stop watching it.

Wow Adam looks horrible. All the male actors actually. When Chet is the new looking dude then you know it’s bad. They should cast some of the Bachelorette cast.
