big brother last night. Well, we had the power of veto competition. It was one by Kenny took himself off the block and Tucker went to Chelsea and said, just put me up.
I’ll go up as a pawn. I don’t care. He doesn’t think he’s getting eliminated. He also thinks that he can beat Angela and Lisa at tonight’s BBA arena. So maybe he will, maybe he won’t. We just, we never know what the competition is. If it’s something athletic. Yeah, he probably will. But if it’s something like.
POV competition where it’s just stacking stuff or if it’s trivia related, it’s going to have nothing to do with anything physical, so you can’t really use that to his advantage. My thing is, was he stupid for putting himself up? Because I think he’s a player that people find could go long in this game.
And if he’s available, if by chance he does not win BBA arena tonight, would they go after him? I think it’s a possibility really do. So. We all know what they say about pawns. Pawns get the boot. I don’t know if that’s the exact phrase, but we know. Pawns usually end up going home. And he volunteered himself.
We’ll see if it pays off. If he wins BBAI Arena, then it won’t matter. We’ll see. Let’s say that he does. I can’t imagine any scenario where the people in that house Decide to vote Lisa out and keep Angela. I just don’t see it. Angela losing it again on Quinn. And I think it’s gotten to the point where Angela mentally is just not doing well in this game.
She’s getting emotional over things. She really doesn’t need to be getting emotional over and the way she’s talking to people, it’s almost her paranoia is getting the best of her. And there’s, put it this way, there’s no way she’s ever going to last till the end of this game. I don’t think people would carry her to the end in hopes of beating her because they would beat her.
I just think having never played this game, I know if I had 90 days of my summer to be spent in a house with people, I would want to get people out, not only that were threats, but were people that I just wouldn’t be able to spend 90 days with, and I gotta believe that most of those people think that Angela is one of those people.
She’s gotta be going home tonight if she doesn’t win BBAI Arena, right? There’s no way they eliminate Lisa over Angela. You have plenty of other chances to get Lisa out of the game. She’s been up twice in two weeks. What’s to say you can’t put her up a third time next week if you really want to get her out?
I understand. Well, we can keep Angela because nobody would vote for her in the end anyway, so it doesn’t matter what she does Yeah, but I think about for the other people’s sanity in the house and having to deal with her look I’m sure she’s a great mother. I’m sure she’s a nice woman, but she’s absolutely losing her mind in the house It is getting to a point where it’s almost, she needs to talk to somebody because she’s way too paranoid.
Everything she says, she’s walking on eggshells. She’s insulting people without realizing it. Just get her out, please. For me, an OBB house guest, you can’t hear this podcast right now. But for the love of God, get rid of Angela tonight. I wanted to bring this to people’s attention. Because she is a former podcast guest on this show, and you see me retweet a lot of her videos and repost them on Instagram.
Kelly Johns, the one that does the impressions every week of Bachelor and Bachelorette episodes, very funny woman. I don’t know if a lot of you know this, if you follow her or not on Instagram, but she suffers from endometriosis and it has returned for her. She started IVF. And that did not go it was unsuccessful, her IVF attempt.
So her and her husband are going through the adoption process. However, she has stage four endometriosis that she was diagnosed with in 2022 and it has come back. And the company that Kelly works for has an adoption reimbursement benefit, but it does not cover all the extra expenses. Which is likely going to be another 000.
And since her initial surgery, she’s continued to have extreme pain. If you’ve watched her Instagram story, she constantly talks about how much pain she is in the specialist that she’s going to see. And this is all coming from her GoFundMe link. I just want to read some of it. She’s scheduled to have a full hysterectomy and another endometriosis, endometriosis excision with the top rated endometriosis specialist next week.
Unfortunately, the specialist is out of nest network and they have to have a deposit of 9, 500. Her mother started this GoFundMe, her and her father are helping as best as they can, but the costs are excessive and it’s come at a not a great time because they just bought their first house. And they had just began the adoption journey.
So basically they are asking. You know, a 10, 000 goal on GoFundMe. They’re almost halfway there. As of me recording this on Wednesday night, they’re at 4, 200. So I plan on donating today. I hope you guys will take the time to just check it out. Go to Kell Johns on Instagram and. Donate whatever you can, five bucks, 10 bucks, whatever you can.

She just wants to be pain free and she could use a little help. If you read the reader emails yesterday, you know, someone asked me about the podcast with the Melrose place. Women, Courtney, Thorne, Smith, Daphne, does an EGA and Laura Layton, Lori No, Laura Layton. Crap. Is it Lori or Laura? I’m going to need to look at this. It is. Ah, gosh, I think it’s Laura, but I can’t find the names right now.
Laura. There it is. Laura Layton. Anyway, their initial episode, their inaugural episode had Grant show on it. Grant show played Jake. Hanson on Melrose place. But before he was on Melrose place, if you don’t remember, he was on 90210. They brought him in for the specific role of we’re going to bring somebody in.
We’re going to introduce him to the audience and then he’s going to go off to Melrose place. But we wanted to give the fans a start of one of the characters and that character ended up having a little thing with Kelly Taylor and Kelly was actually on the initial episode the premier episode of Melrose place where she ended up kissing Jake, but.
So Grant show was on the podcast. What’s it called? Oh, still the place podcast with Daphne and Laura and Courtney Thorne Smith and talked about, well, that relationship could never happen today. There’s no way we could ever get away with Jake coming. And as a older man, kissing a high schooler and starting some sort of flirtation or hookup with a high schooler.
And yeah, it is funny to look back on now. But they even said everyone on the podcast was like, yeah, that, that can’t happen now. But at the time he’s like, I didn’t think much of it because at the time Jenny Garth was 25 years old playing an 18 year old. So it wasn’t as bad as it seemed, I guess, because in real life he wasn’t doing anything wrong, but storyline wise, yeah, you can never get away with it.
Well, she was over 18 in real life. I don’t know what she was. Jake. She was playing a teenager. And Jake was 25, so I don’t know how old Jenny was when Grant show came on the show and they had their little thingy, but to hear them talk about it now they’re like, yeah, we couldn’t get away with that now.
Hell you, there’s some storylines from 90210 that they probably couldn’t do now, nor should they. But to hear them talk about it. Kind of funny. So go check that out. If you haven’t seen, or you haven’t heard of the new podcast, Melrose place with three of the original stars, Courtney Thorne Smith, who played Alison Daphne Zuniga, who played Joe, right?
That was her name. And then Laura Layton played Sydney, which was one of the great characters on that show, probably behind Michael Mancini. And just some small dance with the stars talk. Former contestant and ABC, I don’t know if he still works at ABC, but Cameron Matheson, who was on ABC for years in soaps and the news, I think he was on good morning America or did something for them.
Maybe he was a correspondent or something and then he was on, I don’t know what season of dance with the stars, but he was on it and he did really well. Well, I remember seeing a story last month. Where he went again on Cheryl Burke’s podcast sex lies and spray tans it made headlines Because he said when he was asked to be a contestant on dancing with the stars He admitted he was worried about working with Edita.
You remember her He said I called the casting director and I said listen, I’m so happy that you’ve offered me the show. I can’t wait I’m in just do me a favor put me with anyone but Edita because I knew my wife and I were We were going through a little bit of a challenge at that time. And he said that Edita didn’t wear a lot of clothes, but he ended up dancing with her anyway, and became very close to her.
He said, my wife, Vanessa was a trooper. We’d sort of recently gone through a bunch of stuff and it wasn’t great timing. I was off in LA spending time with this beautiful woman dressed up against her, sweating with her five hours a day rehearsing, and then doing all the press and touring stuff together.
And it was really hard. I did everything in my power to make that as easy for her as possible, but it just is what it is. I mean, you can be married and do the show obviously, but it can be Depending on the circumstances, it’s just really hard. Not that that had anything to do with the news that came out yesterday.
I don’t know. Maybe it did. Maybe it lingered for many, many years. But after 22 years of marriage, him and his wife, Vanessa, ended up going their separate ways. They announced they have separated on Instagram yesterday. You know, the generic Instagram post about after 22 years of marriage, we made the difficult decision to part ways.
We enter this new chapter with deep love, kindness, and respect for each other. Priorities, priority is our kids. We’re going to remain friends. Please respect our privacy at this time. And then you know, a picture of them and a few pictures of them together. So I just thought it was, I wonder when he went on Cheryl’s podcast in June, if he threw that story out there.
I don’t know, to lay the groundwork for knowing what was coming basically a month later, maybe five weeks later, just seems an interesting story. Like why even bring that up? That Hey, remember when I was on the show years ago? I mean, I want to say he was on the show 10 years ago. I don’t think it was anytime soon, anytime recently.
So we’re 10 years ago. So why even bring the story up that, yeah, my wife and I were going through problems at the time. And it wasn’t great that I was put with Edita even told the show, I didn’t want to work with her because it just might’ve caused more of a rift in our marriage, but ended up working with her anyway.
But it wasn’t easy on my wife. And then a month later they’re divorced. So I don’t know. I just find it curious. I don’t think there’s, there’s no some sort of conspiracy theory here or, or whatever. I just remembered that headline from a month ago and then to see that he now got divorced. It just, I. Added the two up and I’m like, huh, I wonder if there’s anything there.
If not. Then so be it. It just sucks that they had to get separated after 22 years of marriage. They’re going to be empty nesters in about a month when he said his second child goes off to college. So maybe that has something to do with it too. I don’t know. Anyway. Thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it.
