Okay. Before I get into the James McCoy Taylor story, I do just want to give a little bit of a trigger warning because there is. A story about sexual assault in this story. We saw over the weekend that James McCoy Taylor from JoJo season was arrested due to warrants he had out from stemming back on April 24th, a woman left a bar and returned to a condo with him in Bryan, Texas.
Once there, this is coming straight from the police report. Two kids kissed in a bedroom. Woman told police she changed her mind and wanted to leave. And she began to feel uncomfortable. She told police Taylor started to get very serious and intense and got a look on his face that frightened her.
According to the police report, the woman went into a restroom and called a friend who ordered an Uber so she could leave. When she exited the restroom, she told police he was nude on the bed. She asked him to put his clothes back on and she told him she wanted to leave. The arrest report says Taylor walked the woman down to the front door and when she opened it.
He slammed it shut and began forcibly kissing her. He then allegedly threw her to the ground, got on top of her and groped her private area. That’s what the report says. The woman told police she was eventually able to break free and escape out the front door and got into an Uber that was waiting outside.
They met with her the next day, the accuser and noted multiple contusions were seen on her hip and buttocks. Officers observed text messages sent between the woman and her friend that matched the story. Some of the texts said, quote, please come get me, quote, I’m not okay. And quote, he’s forcing himself on me.
When they spoke to Taylor about the allegations, he told them the encounter was enjoyable and consensual, and he denied ever shoving her to the ground and getting on top of her. They police noted in their probable cause affidavit, they did not believe he was being truthful. With them about what happened.
Interesting. Of course, he released a statement to KBTX in Texas. And he said, so let, this is his quote. So let me get this straight. Not so much as a scratch on me as I showed the police via pictures of my whole body, which was awkward to say the least, and I’m a pretty big guy, but I was trying to unlawfully restraint a girl.
And she just. Dot dot dot got away and walked right into her uber right outside my house with no injuries. Okay. Got it This makes tons of sense. Trust me if there were any injuries, it’d be all over the internet He admits to not remembering the woman’s name But references her family who he says confronted him about what happened taylor went on to say I would never hurt anybody I’m a nice person to everyone.
I meet that’s my statement Now go ahead and trash my life because you hate my political stances or for the views you’ll get on tiktok This guy is such an ass clown, by the way, she was 19 years old back in 2022. He was caught driving while intoxicated, carrying an unlawful carrying of a weapon and in his car, he had an 18 year old college freshmen companion that he had just met that night and was planning her to take, planning to take her back to her dorm room.
Like this guy is an absolute certified creep job. And that’s your statement after being accused, you’re immediately going on the defensive and calling her out and calling the public out because, oh, they’re just after me because they don’t like my political stances. No, we don’t have, we don’t like you because you’re a creep period.
End of story. I hope they throw the book at him. Moving on. As I mentioned in the open, golden bachelorette is done. Filming Joan was posting on social media yesterday. She was watching Jen’s episode from home with some friends. We know her final four. That’s all I know right now. I have heard a rumor of someone that may not have won, but I don’t know for sure yet, so I don’t want to say anything, but her final four are Guy Gansert from Nevada, chalk chapel from Wichita, Kansas, and past Pascal.
If Gwee. And Jordan Heller, both from Chicago. You saw pictures of two, the two Chicago guys, Pascal and Jordan. You saw pictures of their hometowns and I told you about guys and chalks. So we shall see. Hopefully I’ll find out. I’m guessing I’ll find out sometime before Joan season finale airs of who she picked and who her final two are.
I thought that was interesting though, but expect her men to be released this week. When I say released, I mean, we’re going to see her whole cast of men. We know that one of the other men on her season is Mark Anderson, Kelsey’s dad. He did not make final four, obviously. And I know of one other guy and that’s it.
So she probably has got 20 guys and you’ll know six once I see the full list. I did want to mention this because I haven’t talked about Chris Harrison’s podcast in a long time. And I just thought this was interesting. One of his recent episodes, and I don’t know what day it came out, it was either earlier this week or end of last week.
He did an episode with, get this, a divorce coach. He even said, well, his wife Lauren Zima said, they talked to a divorce coach, Tara Eisenhard. Lauren said, we had no idea divorce coaches existed. So enlightening, especially if you’re considering or going through a divorce, look, I’m just playing detective here, but don’t you find it?
Well, I put it this way. I don’t find it coincidental at all that I hadn’t heard of a divorce coach either until Brian Abasolo told us he basically signed up for one and is doing a three part series on Instagram talking to his divorce coach. And then all of a sudden. Chris Harrison is having a divorce coach on Gee, who did Chris Harrison have the biggest beef with in the franchise and who do people blame for Chris Harrison getting fired?
Rachel Lindsay the ex wife of Brian Abbasolo who has a divorce coach I’m just saying this I don’t find it the least bit coincidental that Chris Harrison has a divorce coach on when Brian and Rachel are going through a divorce right now and Brian has hired a divorce coach You Because we know Chris Harrison doesn’t like Rachel Lindsay.
Period. We know this. Just thought that was interesting. And finally, did you see this? Did you see the Laura Owen story from yesterday? The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office on Twitter sent out two tweets yesterday. And it said, We have received a number of inquiries from the public concerning the matter involving Laura Owens.
Here is the updated status. Upon receiving the minute entry from the Superior Court Judge, this office began an investigation into the matter. Because of the volume of information, any investigation done correctly is going to take time. We are working diligently to review the materials and we will release results when it is appropriate to do so.
So, Well, we know when Judge Mata gave her decision, she included in her minutes, she requested that the Arizona prosecutor, the Maricopa County attorney’s office look into possible criminal charges against Laura Owens. You heard Umberto when I did my first live stream, basically say, this is very rare for something like this for perjury essentially.
So. For a judge to include that in their minutes over something from a family court case, very, very interesting. He thought that was a big red flag and not good news for Laura Owens. Now, the Maricopa County could have taken Judge Mata’s request under advisement and then just been like, Look, we’re not gonna, we’re not gonna investigate.
We’ve just got too much else on our plate. We’ve got too many other things. We’re not even going to investigate the fact that they are going out of their way to now investigate Laura Owens and send out two tweets saying, give us time. There’s a lot to go over here, which means they’re probably going to interview Clayton.
They’re probably going to interview Glory Gillespie. They’re probably Maron Cheney, all this stuff that the justice for Clayton crew has dug up. They’re going to get all that information. Hell, I might be contacted about it. I don’t know. Maybe Dave is going to be contacted about this stuff. I don’t know who, how they go about when they say they’re going in investigation.
Now, she hasn’t been charged with anything. They are going to do an investigation and then determine, are they going to file charges against her? But this is huge that one, they’ve decided to acknowledge. We will investigate this. We will take judge Matt as request and move forward with an investigation.
And number two, that they’re tweeting about it publicly, like. That is huge. If I’m Laura Owens, I am shitting my pants right now, as she should be, because anybody that’s followed this case for the last 14 months is in agreement that she should suffer consequences for what she’s done to these men over the last 10 years.
So thank you Maricopa County for at least looking into this. She’s not guilty yet in terms of being charged with anything. I’d say if I’m her, I’m very, very nervous.
