Daily Roundup 8/12 – Bachelorette Jenn’s Episode #6 Tonight, Big Brothers Deep Fake HOH Being Kind Of A Dud, & My Thoughts On “It Ends With Us”

You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I am your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. Got a lot to go over here. I will tell you why I recorded Friday’s podcast, the Friday Fun Podcast with Courtney Robertson. I have a meeting today.

About next year’s reality. Steve fan appreciation party. We will talk about Jen’s episode six airing tonight. We will discuss big brother spoilers will be talked about in terms of what you’re going to see later on this week in terms of power of veto and what I spent the last 40 minutes on last night’s live stream talking about.

I want to give my thoughts to those who didn’t watch it here on the podcast. I went and saw it ends with us. And I’ve got a lot of thoughts on it, so I will get to that momentarily. Let’s start with this. So, Friday, you heard on the Daily Roundup a conversation with Courtney Robertson. It was a really fun one.

I like talking about her family, her kids. I always watch them on her Instagram stories. And I also discussed what happened on Jen’s episode last week. With someone, an ex showing up on the show. Now, granted, Matt was more of an ex to Jen than Chantel. Newton was an ex to Ben Flanick, but the point of an ex showing up on the show, how it affects the dynamic in the house and everything that happened.

So I thought that was interesting that Courtney had a perspective on it. Cause she wasn’t happy that Chantel had shown up and was on the verge of quitting when that happened. And then just talking about other things with her, the reason why I prerecorded that. Was because this past Friday I had a doctor’s appointment and that doctor’s appointment was for a colonoscopy.

I have not had one, you know, in recent years they have told men they have lowered the age from get your first colonoscopy at 50 down to 45 well I’m 49 and never had one. So the reason why I wanted to have Thursday, Friday’s episode recorded in advance. Anybody that knows about a colonoscopy knows about the prep work involved in colonoscopies.

And I just didn’t want to have to be recording and uploading stuff on Thursday night. Might’ve been busy running from one room to another, if you know what I mean. So that’s why I did it. Good news to report. Everything’s a okay. So I just wanted to share that today. I’m meeting with my quote unquote team to discuss next year’s fan appreciation party.

Now we started this in 2015. Next year will be the ninth year. I’ve had the party and you’d be like, how did you start it in 2015? And next year, 2025, you only had nine parties. Well, that’s because there was no party in 2020 or 2021. As you know, of the eight parties that I’ve had, seven of them have been the first Friday in June.

It’s just a random date that I chose. When I did it the first year, it was the week after my birthday and I just decided to keep it at that. One year we had it in July. That might’ve been year two, but ever since then, either year two or year three was in July. I think July 28th every other year has been the first Friday in June.

Well next year, so basically first Friday in June has always been days after my birthday. My birthday is May 31st. Well, next year, my birthday happens to fall on a Saturday. And it also happens to be my 50th. So I can tell you right now, the party’s going to be on May 31st, 2025. When I meet today, we’re planning it early because this is going to be the biggest one that I’ve had.

I don’t want to have to limit it to 90 to a hundred people. Like I have every year that I’ve never been able to go over a hundred, except the year we had it at the Rio, we had close to one 40. And I hope to have the ability to get that many people in this year or next year. I mean, next year’s party, but it’s going to be the plan is it’s going to be a show.

It’s going to be a live podcast that goes into the party plan on broadcasting that podcast. So in case you can’t make it, which I know a lot of you can’t, you’ll be able to watch it live on my YouTube channel. So there’s a lot of things that we got to go over. We’ve got to go over signage. We’re going to have a DJ.

It’s going to be a thing probably also going to be a theme party doesn’t mean you have to come in a costume But it will be a thing There, and it will be an option. So not only is it going to be a fan appreciation party, not only is it going to be a 50th birthday celebration party, it’s also going to be a theme party.

So, and it’s also going to be a show. I don’t know who the guests are going to be probably going to be in our show. I’m not going to talk for the whole hour. So I’m guessing Dave Neil will be there. Courtney will be there. I’ll bring them up on stage. Maybe I get a, another guest. I don’t know. We’re still very early in the process.

We’re 10 months away from this party happening, but because it’s going to be bigger, the venue is going to be better. It’s going to be the best venue I’ve ever had. I’m just kind of meeting with people to go over it today so we can start early planning. Now, if you want to book. Your trip and book your hotel room by all means you can because I’m telling you the party’s going to be May 31st 2025 I don’t know the location of the party yet, but it doesn’t matter You don’t have to stay in the same hotel that the party is in So if you just want to if you know, you’re gonna be a part of the party and you want to go I’ll throw it out to you now because I’ve always said your confirmation for the party is your Flight and or your hotel room.

If you’re a Vegas local, you just have to promise that you’re not going to cancel out. And most people don’t this year, everybody that RSVP’d showed up, I believe. I don’t think we had anybody that didn’t show up. So. Same thing. If you want to RSVP now, and you’re out of state, you just have to show, you can tell me, like I plan on coming, but you’re not confirmed for the party until I see a flight itinerary, or if you are just driving a hotel itinerary, or if you’re local, just tell me, but I think we are going to have enough spaces to where I doubt I’m going to have to turn people away.

I think there’s going to be enough room in there to where basically it’s always been a first come first serve party, but I also think that this year. I keep saying this year, next year’s party, I doubt I’ll have to turn people away. I don’t see all of a sudden 300 people wanting to come to this party. So just wanted to.

Put that out there. So yeah, you can RSVP now, but you’re not confirmed and not on the list on the main list until there’s flight confirmation. You send me your itinerary or a hotel room confirmation. So just know that, but also just know you don’t need to do it today or this week or next month, because there’s plenty of time.

I’m not going to be promoting this much until things are booked and everything is solid. But just know it’s going to be May 31st, 2025. The night of my 50th birthday tonight, episode six of Jen season of the Bachelorette. They are in Seattle. We know there are seven guys left. Our final four, Jeremy, Marcus, Devin and Grant Grant, sorry, Jonathan.

And then the other three that get eliminated in Seattle are Grant, Sam and Spencer. Now I don’t know if tonight’s episode ends with a rose ceremony. It probably does. In terms of, we’ll see Spencer, Grant, and Sam being eliminated this episode, and then next week we’ll just start off with Hometowns. I think once or twice they have done the episode before Hometowns where they don’t actually show us everything, and then the beginning of the next episode Starts with the rose ceremony in Seattle and then we go straight into hometowns But for the most part my guess is it’ll probably a rose ceremony We know the two one on ones are Marcus’s wicked date or yellow brick road date, whatever you want to call it He has the first date and then the group date is a radio show with Molly and Bender Who used to be a radio show in Seattle Molly Ben?

Molly Mesnick And I forget Bender’s first name, but they used to have a radio show for years in Seattle and then they don’t anymore, but Bender is still on the radio. So it’s like a. A reuniting of Molly and Bender and the guys, the five guys on the group date are everybody but Jeremy and Marcus, because they have the one on ones and then the next day was Jeremy’s one on one.

So you will see that on tonight’s episode. And if the eliminations all happen tonight, then you’ll see Spencer, Sam, and Grant going home. I’m pretty sure Sam gets eliminated before the rose ceremony, but I could be wrong. Just know he doesn’t last past this episode. And then the question will be, Will his family take to the social media and start saying things now that Sam is off the show?

I don’t know. They’ve seemed to have quieted down over the last couple weeks since they were called out. So my guess is they won’t. And my guess is they know they shouldn’t because Sam can get in trouble. Since clearly he’s already broken his NDA, but while he’s broken his NDA, so have many other contestants in the past.

And this franchise just likes to pick and choose. Who they decide to punish for breaking their NDA and who they don’t. Luke Parker was punished for breaking his NDA. There are others who have been punished for breaking their NDA. Something tells me Sam won’t because if he hasn’t by now, I don’t see why he would, unless he does something stupid from this point forward or somebody in his family does, but I don’t see that happening.

So tonight, get ready. We’re going to be set up for our final four hometowns already. Next week, this podcast brought to you by way.
