You know, Devin can say now, Hey. Jen, when I said all that stuff to you at hometown dates and overnight dates and final rose ceremony day, I meant that stuff, I’m just saying it’s a very hard sell and we’re allowed to be skeptical because you couldn’t follow up with that literally days later when you got off the island and she basically said you were distant.
How can we believe you? Why are we supposed to believe anything that you say when the doubts that people have had about you all season long seem to come to fruition, listening to you up on the stage on Monday night or excuse me, Tuesday night. So used to having Monday finales, but that Tuesday finale kind of threw me off and pushed everything back a day.
And this is why I recorded five podcasts today. And I feel like I’m losing my voice. I’ve had to pause this podcast at least. Six times already took off. I’m just feeling my throat being very scratchy right now, but that’s what I mean. It’s like, Devin, you have to understand we’re allowed to be skeptical of you.
And we’re allowed to ask questions. We’re allowed to ask the why’s of everything. Jesse didn’t ask it. The people want answers. I don’t know if he’s going to go on the podcast rounds. Like I said yesterday, I don’t think he’s going to do. Ben and Ashley. I don’t think he’s going to do Caitlin. I don’t think he’s going to do Joe and Serena.
If he does a podcast, I would think it’s going to be Nick just because that’s the type of interview Nick does. So that’s what I mean. If he does it, we’ll hear his side. He’ll maybe get to say more, but you know, considering he released text messages yesterday and then immediately deleted them off of his Instagram story.
Did you see those? So Devin posts two. Text message exchanges that he had with Jen. There’s no context to them. We don’t even know the date these happened, but it was two screenshots posted on his Instagram story and they were gone within a half an hour. He deleted them. First one was her messaging him saying, so then why did you want to talk to me in person today in the first place?
Devin wrote back. I wanted to tell you all this in person because you deserved more than a phone call. Jen responds, but the way you said it last night made it seem like you already made your mind up. Not that you wanted to have a conversation about it. And he said, just last week, Friday, you said we should break up.
You’ve said that before. I really took that to heart because I’ve been having doubts about our whole relationship and I’m not happy right now when I know you aren’t either. I’m always falling short of your expectations. I have already expressed my own doubts and last happy couple, I was very honest about where my heart stood.
I don’t know what else to say, Jen. You don’t deserve this and I don’t think I can. And I don’t think I can. You what you deserve. I think he meant to say, I don’t think I can give you what you deserve. And then she responded, I know I said that I wanted to break up and I was emotionally charged when I said that.
And I obviously didn’t go through with that because things can. And then that was the last of the message that was up for 30 minutes and he deleted it. So it’s just like this guy. That’s supposed to make us think, Oh wow, Devin, we’re siding with you just because you have Jen in a text saying, yes, I did say I wanted to break up.
Yeah, probably because you didn’t treat her well from the time you got engaged. Like there’s so much context misting from this, but that doesn’t change. That shouldn’t change anybody’s mind. If he thought that was going to win people over and take his side because he sent a text message or he has a text message of Jen saying I know I said I wanted to break up and I was emotionally charged.
But him constantly putting it on her. Hey, I told you how I felt. I don’t know what else to say. You don’t deserve this. I don’t think I can give you what you deserve. It’s such a cop out. He’s basically like, please it not telling her, but the translation of that is please break up with me. So I don’t have to break up with you.
And I don’t look bad in all this. Like that’s, it’s almost like he was asking for it. He was asking her to do it. So he would, I don’t know, somehow look better on finale night. Yeah, that didn’t happen. Then we had two people chiming in from the franchise yesterday on social media. The first one was Sam McKinney.
He did about a 90 minute reel, and then he did a post, which kind of. Summarized his 90 minute reel in words. And he said, I hate that Jen had to go through that last night. And I hope that she can heal from all this and truly know that there is somebody out there that will show her exactly what she needs, not just say all the right things on paper, and I wish her the very, very best because she is a special girl outside of all the BS that everybody might think I’ve said, or my family has said she is a special girl and to Devin, kind of like one of your last captions, man, good guys always win.
And that might not be me, but it sure as hell not you either. Okay, good last line there, Sam. But Throwing in the line before that, outside of all the BS that everybody might think I’ve said, or my family has said, Devin, Devin, Devin, Sam, same thing, Sam, we saw what you wrote on your Instagram. We saw what your family wrote on your Instagram on their Instagrams and Facebook pages.
What are you talking about? What do you mean the BS that everybody might think I’ve said, so we’ve seen social media stuff. That you, your sisters, your brother in law, your mom, and your dad posted. And then we’ve also, well, not we, me, have seen exactly what you wrote in certain text messages when you got back from filming.
So, you can hide behind it all you want. Just be thankful that Rayleigh has a heart. And doesn’t absolutely take a giant school bus and run you over with it and then back up right over you again. Then the other person that chimed in was Maria. She posted this on an Instagram story. Just got back from a peaceful trip.
This was not something I wanted to come back home to, but I have some things to say, and I won’t be holding back this time. This doesn’t sound like she’s coming after Devin. Maybe I’m wrong. We will know when Maria finally graces us with her words about this, whatever that may be, whenever her podcast is launching on the call her daddy network.
Since we know that’s common. We’ll see. I don’t want to, I don’t want to comment. My guess is this is going to be some sort of shot at Jen. This doesn’t sound like I’m coming after Devin unless maybe she is. I don’t know. To me, it doesn’t sound like it. This sounds like she wants to address what Jen said on the couch and what Jen said on the couch, I don’t even think was any sort of shot at Maria.
All she said was Devin, you started following Maria. That was a shitty thing to do. Shouldn’t have done that to me. I, why would Maria be upset at that? You know, I, so for her to post that on Instagram story yesterday, drawing attention to herself and making this about her again, I guess we can’t, I guess I can’t really comment on this until I find out exactly what the hell Maria is talking about with this, but this doesn’t seem like she’s going to become, you know, pitchforks at Devin.
This seems like I’m going to respond to what Jen said on that couch about Devin following me. I hope this ends up being a big bag of nothing, because I need that to end. And finally going to spend some time talking about this tomorrow with Kristen Bert on the daily roundup in my interview with her. But as you know, by now, Jen was a late addition to the dancing with the stars cast.
So for the first time ever dancing with the stars, we’ll have two people from the bachelor franchise as Joey is partners with Jenna Johnson and Jen is partners with Sasha Farber. But it was a late addition to say the least because Jen said in interviews yesterday. After she got off stage, she was in her dressing room and they told her, you’ve got 45 minutes, you’re going to New York.
You are on dancing with the stars. Don’t have time to pack. Just get your ID. You’re going. So she didn’t even meet Sasha until yesterday. So she flies to New York, goes on GMA, takes the red eye is on GMA, and then immediately had to fly back to California. And she’s already behind the other dancers because they’ve been practicing for, I don’t know, I guess at least a week, maybe a week and a half for some of them.
So. That could work against her, but I think Jen will last a decent amount of time on this show. I really do. I’d be surprised if she was a first one, two or three week elimination. I, that would, that would really surprise me. I, I have no problem with her being a late addition. I have no problem. And it was obvious when the report came out yesterday and GMA, Good Morning America’s website and Us Weekly’s story had everybody’s promo photo shoot and Jen was the only one where they had a stock photo of her bachelorette season and everybody else was with their partner and in their dance with the stars sequence sparkly outfits.
Those were all shot last week. So clearly Jen wasn’t there and she wasn’t a part of it. She wasn’t a part of any video package, nothing. She was by all means added to the show of dance. When she’s added to the dance with the stars cast late on Monday night, which is pretty crazy when you think about it.
But. Good for her. I mean, that’s the, I mean, it’s the least ABC could do for her after humiliating her on Monday night. So obviously we’ll be watching dance with stars, talking about it. Probably a little mini competition. You’ll even hear me talk to that. Talk about that with Dotton tonight on podcast 407 coming out in a little bit.
