And I, I think what happens, you know, with Joey. And Kelsey again, he’s not going straight from his finale into bat into dance with the stars because there used to be two seasons used to be a spring season and a fall season.
Now there’s only a fall season. So, he has been with Kelsey since what last November. So they’re coming up on you know, a year of their relationship. Right. Yeah. I mean, he’s, so they’ve been together eight months. His partner is, I believe Jenna. Who’s married to Val. So any rumors that, you know, with the Riley and Harry stuff last season, I mean, they played into it.
Nothing, nothing’s going to come of, Oh, Joey and Jenna seem to be getting close, her husband’s on the show. Like, you know, he doesn’t have to worry about that. So I know that that was maybe if he got put with Riley, then all of a sudden people were going to start making whispers and stuff. You’re not gonna have to worry about that.
He’s got a professional partner who’s married. He’s engaged. And he’s been in a relationship for nine months, basically, before he has to go and
they, and they’ve been living together, like wherever they’ve been. Again, I think that’s a really central part to this is like, the last thing you want is distance coming off the show, because then you’re like, well, the person’s not here.
And then maybe you get attention, you know, and you see what happens and everything falls apart. So, yeah, they’re solid. I think they’re solid and ABC, the show did a really good job of. Picking someone that’s with a partner, I will say, listen, Jenna. Hey, Jenna, when she, she gets into it, she gets into it.
You know what I’m saying? So it can still, I’ve heard that even though Jenna, obviously she’s with someone and I know her you know, barely, but. No, I have always had greener actresses. Awesome. But because she gives herself again, she’s very sexual. A lot, a lot of partners have complained in the past.
So if you have a really strong jealous bone yeah, it might be tough agenda. But like I said, I’m thinking that Kelsey is beyond that at this point and knows that they’re locked down time.
You know, you talk about couples from this show, the final couples. Living together right away, or you should be living together to, you know, enhance that relationship.
You guys have decided to put your roots down. In New York, you and charity is that something that, you know, it might be early, but is it something you’re thinking longterm? Is this is where we want to be? Is there talk of, of moving somewhere else? And, and how have things been going since you put it down in New York?
It’s been going good. It’s been real, right? Like you said, once you come off the show, it becomes really real. And I think New York is a great place. It’s because there’s, there’s obviously like. There’s like enough distraction, but also like enough like, we’re still like, we’re not like in the middle of Manhattan, right?
We’re still in Brooklyn. We’re like in a community. So it’s been a good balance between the both. Definitely not going to be here forever. Like that was when I moved here, I moved here before the show. That was never the plan. It was just like, you know, like once things open up after COVID, where do I want to go next?
It’s just felt like New York was a great place for like personal development. Charities into the same thing. She likes to she’s into like personal growth. And so we’re like, we both have a lot to gain here. And certainly for her, because, you know, like, although she’s this big, you know, figure and a celebrity and all this stuff you know, she, she first time like leaving the South was in from the show.
Right. So she’s like learning a lot and getting a lot of life, which is so awesome. I think I love that. And I know she loves that. And again, that, that kind of stuff. Has also leads into the successful relationship, you know, to be able to just be, you know, worldly for lack of a better word. And like, just kind of see how the world works, right?
And there’s no better place to learn that than New York where the can get tough sometimes, but we’re in a good position, but it’s not forever. We absolutely. We’ll probably be moving here. I’m guessing in like a year or 2, just taking it year by year. Whenever we get sick of it, we’ll get out. Yeah. Right now we’re in Brooklyn.
We might just do one year in Manhattan, just in the thick of it, just to, cause we’re psychos and then get the hell out of there and maybe start like settling down. So I think like the idea of kids and stuff is going to really be the deciding factor whenever we’re ready for that. So yeah, no roots, but enjoying our time for sure.
A few minutes left here. I just wanted to talk about something you guys have said, I think back in May, that Wedding date is set. I don’t know if their actual date is set, but you said it’s coming in 2025. Has there been a date set? And if it is, you know, obviously you don’t need to give me the actual date, but you’re looking at 2025 for a wedding.
Is that the latest that we’ve heard?
It’s probably not the latest. I mean, we’ve given a few interviews since the first time we announced it was like golden bachelor, bachelor wedding. And but we’re going to interview since. And, and I mean, the tone is certainly, I want to make this super clear.
This is coming from, it’s so funny. The internet, these people will be like, Why the longer gate? Like we actually had literally had some lady from us weekly. She was like, why the long engagement? And I just take a step back and you’re like, most people date for three years and then they get engaged for two and a half years.
Right? And so you’re talking to like a five for some people, 10 years. Those are the same people. Telling us that we’re having a long engagement. Like, are you psycho? So anyways, that’s certainly the tone that at least I’m taking. I believe charity also takes these days is like, when that question comes up, it’s, it’s going to happen when it’s going to happen.
But at the end of the day, we’ve known each other for 18 months, not even right. Which is not a crazy amount of time. And so, although we love each other and we’re compatible and all these things are great why would we rush? We’ve also had an insane last year. We’ve been on the road. There’s no time to plan.
So even if even if we could, we couldn’t have done it. So it’s just going to come and it’s going to come, you know, it’ll come and, you know, our love is strong enough to know that it will, but now they’re in a rush. It’s a big undertaking. It’s going to take away a lot of life. And so for that reason we’re just having a regular engagement, I guess, you know, so, we’ll let y’all know, obviously.
See, you still want to do two weddings. All that stuff hasn’t changed, but it’ll come on already. And so we’re just kind of chilling. And so, I want to also say that I want to ask you, Steve. Let’s get into it. Steve. Yeah, let’s get into this. Well, I’m curious what how did you get into this first and foremost?
And like, how do you feel, like, how do you feel on a daily basis in terms of like, obviously it’s, it’s a really polarizing thing that you do, right. It clearly seems like you don’t give a fuck, but like, how did you get into this? And like, how do you feel, you know, in terms of like what you do and it’s nonchalantly like spoiling seasons.
And I’m not upset. Listen, I could give a fuck. I got away with it, but I’m just, at least I’m so curious about a lot of people behind the scenes that are part of it. Is he one of the first names that I heard coming out
this stuff? Yeah. Yeah. And I’m sure you were told don’t ever associate with that guy. So how do I feel?
I enjoy the fact that for 15 years, I’m the only guy on the internet that consistently spoils a major network television show. I enjoy that. I, I, I like the fact that I put it out there, but the other thing is, and I’ve said this for years. I don’t spoil the show to get people to not watch because that doesn’t help my business.
It just gives people a different way to watch the show. It’s like, Hey, I’m laying out. Hey, in episode two, charity is going to go on a one on one date with so and so. The group date is this. Here’s who gets roses. Here’s who gets eliminated. I think it’s just a way differently to watch the show. And ultimately, because there’s no money at stake, I don’t think it’s a big deal to know who wins.
And I’ve actually said this. I personally think the final couple it’s, I think it’s better for the final couple. If I actually do spoil it and get it right, because then you have people behind you from the very get go and people like you. And I think for you and charity, I didn’t get that spoiler until maybe like four or five episodes into when it was airing.
I put it out there that charities engaged to Dotton. So some of them I had earlier, I mean, I put Jen out two weeks after filming aired. Filming ended and before the first commercial for the season even aired, people knew that Jen ended up with Devin, Joey was wrong for three months. Like it was, it, it, it varies season to season.
So, but for me, your question to me about how do I feel? I, I like the fact that. Nobody has been able to touch me for 15 years. In doing what I do, I just find it amazing. Everybody can, has access to the internet. Everybody has a podcast now. Anybody can go on and spoil the show if they want to, but consistently season after season.
I’ve been able to do it. So for that. I, I think it’s just, I think I’m helping people with the spoiler aspect of it. I don’t think I’m ruining anything. Yeah. Maybe some people don’t want to be spoiled, but then, you know, in this day and age, you basically have to stay off the internet if you don’t want to be spoiled.
So yeah, I like that fact. And the one thing I wanted to ask you, cause this came up during your season. This was before I actually spoiled that you and charity were together. There was a, there were some pictures and showing up on Instagram pages. So I just want to ask you, you know, if you want to, Not answered, that’s fine.
But there was something that Charity posted on her Instagram story and something that you posted on your Instagram story from the same location. It was a bar in New York City, then everyone seemed to think that oh, this tipped, this tipped it off. We just found out that they must be together. Did that happen or was that a coincidence?
You don’t want to answer, you don’t have, but I figured it out.
That is so, that’s so interesting. Oh, I’ve never, never heard this theory before as very fascinating. You’re bringing this to my attention, Steve. Yeah. I, you know, I don’t, I don’t know what happened. Maybe we did. Maybe we didn’t truly, who knows at this point, you know?
But I will say that it seemed like that made for some really interesting times, that’s kind of where I’ll leave it out, but that’s fine. I don’t really know what you’re talking about, really.
Yeah, no, that’s fine. No. And it’s, and it’s crazy because it’s almost like for me, honestly, it’s just a puzzle every season because sometimes.
Stuff gets out. Like when you guys were in New Orleans and you had the six of you sitting there on a bench talking to charity, like somebody walked by, took a picture, emailed it to me. So just like, okay, these are the final six guys. If the show is going to film their television show out in the public, they have to know stuff’s going to get out and very well aware.
And then now looking back on it. For charity season like your hometown wasn’t nothing ever got out of your hometown. I don’t think Joey’s Nothing, I don’t think so. Yeah, I don’t remember Nothing about Xavier’s got out. So yeah, I mean Hers was one of the few seasons where I don’t think any of the hometown dates got out but then you go to this season and I think Three of Jen’s hometown dates got out because they’re in the United States and walking around in the public.
Like, yeah, of course, stuff’s going to get spoiled. It’s just the other stuff, you know, how did, how do you figure out the end? You’re pretty
proud that it, wow. We were like, it was before, like, Steve still ain’t got it. Please get it. Yeah. So we were happy with our street. We were like, okay, we’ll take it. He eventually spoiled it.
We’re like, we did pretty good.
And it wasn’t, it obviously wasn’t anything that you did. It’s obviously, I never got it from you. Obviously I got it from other places, but that’s the thing. I’ve always said like, Hey. The final couple should probably want me to spoil them early just because it gets the crowd behind you from so early on.
Now, you probably have to deal with a lot of comments on, you know, Instagram and, and, and DM saying, Oh, I already know that you won or whatever. And you’d probably have to, you know, obviously you can’t acknowledge it. You have to ignore it, but yeah, I get it. But I also think it would be a positive. And for me, like you said, how do I make me feel?
I just, I like spoiling the show because I, I think it adds to the flavor of watching it versus just, you know, I, I just, when the show starts airing, even if you didn’t have the spoilers, it’s not kind of, it’s not very hard to figure out. Who’s lasting long held the season trailer in the first episode where it says coming up on this season of the bachelor, if you just sat there with a pause button, you can figure out who made it far in the show, you know, so that’s why I think it’s just me.
It’s almost like, I’m providing the cliff notes for the season going into it. It’s like, Hey. Here’s how to follow along and here’s, here’s what to expect,
you know, I find it interesting. I do. Yeah. Never, never bothered me per se. I mean, obviously there’s like, us versus them kind of thing while filming is going on.
You’re like, Oh, let’s, you know, beat them. But yeah, I mean, I personally, I don’t give a shit, you know? Yeah. And I’ll say, I don’t even know. I like initially, I don’t know. I think like, I have a theory that some of your sources are from the show. Right. I think sometimes they feed you bad information and good information because it keeps an interest.
Like everybody wins the franchise wins because you have people debating, talking about it. And you should, you might be on, on the payroll for WB. So. I just say, keep doing what you’re doing. It’s not bothering me. And yeah, just, just wanted to, I’ve always been kind of like, what is the, what is the brain, but
I’ll be, and look, I’ll, I’ll be dead honest with you.
No, I’m not part of Warner brothers and ZK. I’m not part of any of that hell. They sued me back in 2011, twice. So, they came after me back in the day. They’ve left me alone for. 12 years now, but no, they’ve, they’ve sued me twice. So I’m definitely not on their payroll. It’s just with the advent of the internet, especially with Instagram becoming a thing and Twitter becoming a thing, people just like feeling a part of helping me.
It’s a lot of crowdsourcing. It’s a lot of people saying, I know this. I saw this, here’s what I can tell you and just kind of stuff like that. Like off the top of my head, I don’t even remember, you know, obviously you’re, you’re you’re New Orleans date, totally out in public. You guys ran a 10 K. It’s just like, it was crazy.
I don’t know if he ran the whole thing, but five K, whatever it was. Okay. So yeah, that’s what I mean. Like something like that. Plenty of people were there. You probably saw people with cameras. Just some of them decided to send them to me that day. But no, it’s, it’s really a lot of crowdsourcing. I have nothing to do with NZK or Warner brothers.
Trust me. If I did, I would get, honestly, I think if I did, I’d get everything right, because I’d be like, The second they told me something wrong, I’d be like, well, then why would I ever trust you again with telling me something like I wouldn’t believe them if they gave me wrong information because they obviously know how everything plays out.
So they could, they could be having like you know, accounts that you wouldn’t know. They’ll just count, send you something. Hey, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, you know?
That’s what I would
do. That’s what I would do to your ass. If that was the reality. I would fuck with you like crazy. Cause I have everything at my disposal. I can have pictures of them. So I can be like, oh look, Joey and you know, last two, look at them in there, you know. That’s what I would do to your ass.
They might be crazy.
I think in the, I think back in the day, probably five years ago, it would have been a lot easier to pull that over on me. I just have a much stricter vetting process because I don’t want to be wrong. Cause then I obviously lose credibility if I’m wrong about a spoiler. I just have a vetting process where it would be very hard to pull something over on me.
Now like the Joey part where I was wrong about Joey for three months and saying he was with That wasn’t anybody from the show giving me wrong information. That was just. Me not being stricter with the source that I was going to saying, Hey, I need you to give me this. They told me something, it sounded good.
It looked good. And then once it ended up finding out it was Kelsey and I went back to that source, they were like, I’m so sorry. I honestly have been under the belief that it was Daisy this whole time too. So I know if somebody pulls the wool over my eyes, because if I go back to them and said, what the hell was that?
Yeah. Usually in the past, they just ditch me and they ghost me and they’re like, okay, well, they pulled one over on me.
Yeah,
it doesn’t happen like that anymore. I can tell. And I’ve just got a lot of questions that I ask now when anybody sends me anything. It’s just like, okay, who are you? How do you know this?
What proof can you show me? And if I get to question one or two or three and they can’t answer, it’s like, okay, well, I, there’s nothing, this isn’t solid. It might be true. But it’s not solid. So that’s where I, that’s where I kind of draw the line. So, yeah,
that was
crazy. And I’m just surprised, like, you know, finding out in February, I put that out there in December, I didn’t find out till mid February, it was Kelsey.
And then when I found it out, I was like, I’m just surprised. No one came to me earlier and said. You might want to double check this. I’m not going to tell you who or what, but you might want to double check your sources. Nobody did until Joey and Kelsey kind of ruined it on, on themselves on their own happy couple visit.
But yeah, yeah, they, they kind of outed themselves on their happy couple. Yeah, it was they didn’t do it together, but Joey posted an Instagram story. Kelsey posted a separate one, but her background was figured out to be a
happy couple,
a happy couple house. And there’d be no reason to be in a happy couple visit if you weren’t the final couple, you know, she wouldn’t be in a happy couple house if she wasn’t with Joey.
So yeah, that’s essentially what ended up doing it. But no, yeah, for the Daisy one, obviously I don’t want to get into sources and how and how I heard and all that stuff, but that was, that was definitely one where it took me a while to correct the mistake. But then again, you know, That was last season and then people go on to Jen’s season like, Oh, he, he was wrong about Joey for three months.
It’s like, yeah, but each season is different. I posted Jen was with Devin two weeks after they filmed in Hawaii and before the first commercial aired. So every season is different. Yeah. That’s the best way to put it. You know,
you seem like a very confident guy though. Cause they’re like, fuck it. I want to do the next one.
Fuck it. You take that off and you keep going, baby. Yeah. Let’s get to the next
one. And then, and then the next season with with Grant, it’ll just be, all right, let’s, it’s like every season I go into it saying, I know I’m going to get spoilers. I just don’t know from where and when I know they’re coming and anything that’s filmed in LA probably is going to get out.
Maybe when they go overseas, stuff will get out, but. I never know going into the season where my info is coming from. I just know I’m going to get it at some point and I just wait for it. And then I just start, I have a spreadsheet, put it all out there. Here are the guys here’s who, Oh, this is a group date.
And these nine guys are on it. Okay. Well, then these guys could have been eliminated in the previous episode. It’s just, it’s fun to me. It’s a giant puzzle piece. I kind of, I really enjoy the spoiling aspect of it. So anyway,
I do get it.

A great insight there. I love the fact that he mentioned, Hey, I’m I spoke to her right when she got back from filming and she said then something seems weird and So that kind of proves that she didn’t make anything up when she was saying that on Monday night on the live after the Fanta Rose where she was like, yeah, the second we got back from Hawaii It looked like he had one foot out the door and so Dotton seemed to back that up Loved his insight on dance with the stars really good stuff.
So, you know, obviously he is Still with charity. Oh at a year later, and so they’re doing well over a year later. Actually, they got a they got engaged in May of last year, so we’re about 16 months for them. So good for them. Hope obviously everything works out for them. Looks like they’re not going to lay down roots in New York and going to move somewhere at some point.
