A couple other thoughts on dancing with the stars. Joey absolutely killed it. The judges love him. I can see him easily making finale night. I can’t remember, you know, seasons differ.
Sometimes they take four to finale night. Sometimes they take five. He’s making the finale. I’m not saying Jen’s not going to make the finale. I’m just very secure in saying that Joey is going to make the finale just because he’s got that. It, I think Jen does as well. I just don’t know what the audience thinks because they don’t know her as well as they know Joey.
I don’t think Joey was seasoned, had more viewers. There’s a lot of women watching this show. We know how women, you know, tend to come down on other women. Yeah. Whatever the case may be, I think both should be in the finale, but I have no idea how many they’re taking in the finale. So I do, I do feel confident though, that Joey will be in the finale, but he was great last night as well.
Like I said, Jen was good. I’m forgetting the other one that leads in scoring. I’m totally blanking on her name, but she’s obviously very good. The odds on favorite right now to win this thing. I just, again, I just can’t get over Anna Delvey. I can’t get over what an absolute swing and a miss this show did by casting her.
What a waste of our time. It was, you know, even in the interviews after the dance, Julianne’s just trying to get something out of her. Show some personality, show something. I mean, you heard Cheryl Burke on the podcast last week. She’s saying, even when she’s up there, focus on, you know, self deprecating humor.
And this woman just has none of it. They asked her what’s been the most challenging. And she said, jumping around. What? What does that even mean? Are you moron? I mean, good God. I just, it’s infuriating because I’ve watched the show since season one. And yes, we’ve had some bad contestants out there in the past.
Master P comes to mind, some other people that. Didn’t put a lot of effort in apparently didn’t rehearse a lot, but Anna not only didn’t seem to care about the competition Itself even on her way out couldn’t even say like you know what I had a good time Yes, the haters were a bit much and the online people, but I really enjoyed myself.
I really found a passion for something I really enjoyed it. They asked her what she what what she learned and she said nothing I mean what an ungrateful human being You know how many people would kill to have that spot on Dancing with the Stars? And this woman says, I learned nothing. And just that’s it.
One word answer. Didn’t smile after that. Didn’t giggle. She wasn’t joking. She was dead serious. Ugh. Seriously. I said it before. I’ll say it again. Good riddance. I’m so glad that she’s gone. And I, I bet you they don’t ask her back for the finale. Why would they? What’s the point? I know you want everybody to come back for the finale and do like one last dance.
She doesn’t want to be there. The audience doesn’t want to see her. Don’t have her on the finale night. Big brother. I do want to talk about this because I did not talk about it yesterday. For those that don’t know, again, spoilers. 3, 2, 1. We know that Mackenzie won HOH. She put up chemo and she put up Angela.
She told Angela to her face, You’re the pawn. But behind the scenes, she was saying, I want Angela gone. Well, power of veto competition happened on Monday. And you know who won the power of veto? So, you would think, for the first time this season, someone who won HOH also wins Power of Veto. Well, if you just put up two people on HOH, what would change in two days for you to want to change your nominations?
Well, people got into her head, and McKenzie changed the nominations. She saved Kimo. And put up Leah. This has caused so much consternation in the house. Leah is basically furious. She doesn’t understand why McKenzie does it. McKenzie is saying you know, from what I’m reading. And like I said, I’ve just seen bits here and there from what I’m reading.
McKenzie is just like. She’s never been up on the block. She’s a threat. I know some things that she has been saying about me I know she would have come after me later. So it’s just getting her now, but it’s it like I don’t know I I don’t I need to I need to watch the episode tonight to see if something comes out that I obviously didn’t read of What is McKenzie’s?
Main decision about why she decided to put Leah up Because it certainly looks like Leah’s going home As far as I know That was the whole point of putting her up because Robina wants her gone. Chemo wants her gone. And obviously Mackenzie doesn’t vote, but who else wants her, she’s going to get three votes and I’m blanking on who has left Angela.
No, Angela is going to vote for her because Angela is not going to vote for Angela wants Leah there. So Angela’s clearly going to vote wait, I didn’t know Angela’s going to keep Leah there. I’m just blanking. You know what I’m talking about, but basically unless I haven’t, unless I missed something in the last 24 hours, Leah’s going home tomorrow night and that’s just, I don’t know if that’s a smart, maybe some people are probably saying online, this is an absolutely brilliant move by MJ.
It builds her resume. She went after a strong target and some people are saying, Seemingly taking it away from the game aspect of it. And just like, I thought you guys were friends. Why would you do this to her? I thought you and Angela and Leah had said you wanted to go to final three together. I don’t know.
It’s just, again, alliances with seven people left seem to be all over the map. And I guess clueless again, but certainly seems like Leah’s going home tomorrow night and McKenzie’s going to have a lot to answer for it because seemingly if Robina or chemo or Chelsea. Well, maybe not Chelsea, but if Rubina or chemo win HOH next week, Mackenzie seems to be gone, right?
They would go after her. They would have to, right? I don’t know. And finally, James Kennedy, DJ, James Kennedy talked about the future of Vanderpump rules. He was, he had an interview with us weekly and he said, this is the first summer we’ve had off in a decade. So it’s been nice to be able to travel and to DJ and focus on that.
But you know, it’s Vanderpump rules. It’s a legendary show. So. I don’t expect it to be over just yet. That is on the heels of what he said back on an August 29th Instagram post when he said, y’all think you have it figured out, huh? And look, Bravo hasn’t confirmed anything. If there is going to be a season 12.
But I think if James knew for sure that they were canceled, he wouldn’t be saying stuff like this. Now. There are obviously those rumors that Vanderpump rules will come back in 2025, but it’ll focus on a new cast and the people that actually work at sir, which is kind of how the show started with only appearances here and there from the Arianna’s and the Katie’s and the James and the alleys and Sheena’s and Brock’s of the world.
I don’t think that’ll happen. I think if they bring it back, it’s going to focus on the people that we know. And obviously scannable or Tom, I certainly think that would be what it becomes and stays. And once this show ends, it’ll end with that. I don’t know. I don’t know. Well, maybe, maybe in future seasons, they say, okay, let’s give these cast members who have been around for 12 seasons.
Some of them, the ones that we know right now. Let’s give them a proper send off last year. Some people thought it was a proper send off. I didn’t, I didn’t look at it as a series finale. Maybe they give them a proper send off and then the season 13 of Anapump Rules kind of starts back over and we get a new group of servers at Sur.
And we kind of go from there, but I think if James knew that they were no chance, they were coming back. He wouldn’t say this, but it could just be James drumming up interest and wanting people to keep talking about it in hopes that it gets brought back. I don’t know. I don’t want to see it end with how it ended last year.
I don’t think that was a great ending. So I’d love to see one more season and then do what you want from there. Anyway, thank you all for listening. Really appreciate it.
