You are listening to the Daily Roundup here as part of the Reality Steve podcast. I am your host Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in on this Monday. Got a lot of little things to go over with you and today’s podcast. We’re going to talk a little bit about the YouTube lives that have kind of slowed down in recent weeks.
Very little on grant season so far. Golden Bachelorette. I want to make a note of. Got to talk about big brother and going to go into spoilers of what’s been going on on big brother case. You haven’t been following the live feeds. I’ve got a thought on the challenge of MTV dancing with the stars and Adelvie doubles down on everything.
She said during her exit. And shocker of all shockers, Kristen Cavallari has broken up with her boy toy of seven months. And we will get to that momentarily. A few of you have asked me about my Instagram lives, where when I started them in July, I was doing them every Sunday night. And then since I went to Vegas at the beginning of September, I’ve only done one, and that was the Devon expose where I showed the documents about his.
Restraining order he had taken out against him in college. And when I look at it overall, I’m going to still do the lives. I just can’t set a day of the week that I’m definitely going to do them every single week. The other thing is there isn’t seemingly a lot going on where I feel like I could get on a live and be able to do something for 45 minutes to an hour.
There’s just not a lot to cover. Most of it. I talk about in my podcast, so I’m going to do lives. I just don’t know when, maybe if something comes up, I’m not sure yet. I will do them. It’s just not going to be a weekly thing right now because I just don’t feel like there’s enough going on. Yes. Grant season is filming, but when I have nothing from it, I’m not going to go on a live and say, everyone, I’ve got nothing on grant season.
So you know what I’m saying? So I will. Do them. I just don’t know when speaking of grant season this week, I will tell you who was on the first two group dates of the season, but rose ceremony. Number three was this past Friday, three days ago, and they started travel this weekend. There’s two reasons why, you know, they started travel.
Number one, they usually start travel after, after episode three. And number two, Jesse Palmer did not do college football this weekend. And if you watch the beginning of the game between Oklahoma and Auburn, not only was a former bachelor contestant and podcast guest Jordan Rogers filling in for Jesse, Joe Tessitore, the play by play guy, even actually said at the beginning of the game, Jesse is doing his, quote, other job.
So, if they were still in L. A., Jesse would have done the football game, just like he did last weekend. He’ll take an overnight flight after Friday’s Rose Ceremony. He would have taken an overnight flight to Auburn and done the game, but They start travel, so they are traveling now and here’s the thing, I have no idea where they are.
At the time of this recording, I have no idea. Maybe somebody will see them, send me pictures, give me a heads up, let me know where they are. If they do, clearly I will let you know, but I have no idea where they’re going. The only two things I have heard about so far this season are who was on the group date, the first group date of the season, the five on five basketball game, and who was on the RNB date, the seven women that were on that date.
So I don’t know who got the first one on one and I only know of, I believe two people that I know are home. One of them was never cast in the first place. They were on that initial list and never made the cast list. So I will get to all that this week because I’m hoping to hear something about this season.
But again, we’re still only a week and a half into filming, you know, they’ve only been filming 11 days and I know you want to know every single thing, three seconds after it happens. This is par for the course. There’ll be times where I know nothing all season, but then I’ll get the final four and the ending for you.
That’s pretty much the most important stuff to me. And then I worked backwards to try and get all the other stuff, all those dates. Those roses, those eliminations. I might, I might not. I never know. I know it was on those first group dates, but they had dates. Rose ceremony two was last Monday. Then they had dates Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with Rose Ceremony Friday.
I don’t know one thing that happened last week. Haven’t heard a thing. Doesn’t mean I won’t just saying as of right now, haven’t heard anything, but I know some people have short term memory when it comes to the show. That’s par for the course. It really is. So if they’re in another country, you got to remember.
It’s hit or miss. If they’re in another country right now, it comes down to one, somebody seeing them out and recognizing This is the bachelor from the American version. Two, they know to take pictures or video and Three, they know to post them or send them to me. Like three things have to happen for me to know what the hell’s going On in another country.
Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t. I just never know. So I will keep you updated obviously on anything I hear for grant season, golden bachelorette. I’ve gotten people emailing me about some of the other men this season. What happens with Charles L what happens with Jonathan? The best I can tell you is all I know about this season is how the ending shakes out.
And I put that on my social media, the night of the premiere, I had the initial winner wrong, but what I put out on the night of the premiere is absolutely right. Final four, Jordan. Pascal guy and chalk. Jordan goes home after hometown dates. The final three men go to Tahiti and that is Pascal and chalk and a guy.
Pascal believe self eliminates. And so the final two are Guy and Chalk, and she is with Chalk. The only thing I don’t know is are they engaged or not, but anybody that asked me any question in regards to when does this person go home or when did this person go home? When does Mark go home? I honestly, I have no idea.
If I knew that I would have posted it. The only thing I know is the final four breakdown. And that’s what I wanted to put out there for you on the night of the premiere. So you have that. And it’s a show that, like I said, way different than the bachelor and bachelorette. Yes. It’s at the same mansion. Yes.
It’s by the same producers. Yes. The format is the same roses, group dates, group date, roses, rose ceremonies, eliminations, all that stuff. But if you watch this show and you compare it to Bachelor and Bachelorette, it’s like night and day. They’re not trying to make a mockery of their contestants on this show.
They actually praise their backstory. They actually want to show you some vulnerability on this show and not call somebody crazy or play crazy music behind them when they’re doing or saying stuff. And that’s what makes it more interesting. At least for me, it does. It doesn’t mean I’m not going to cover the bachelor, the bachelorette.
Clearly I am, but this show is just more enjoyable to watch and it’s why I don’t spend a whole lot of time recapping it because I’m not going to sit here and make fun of our elders. What’s the point? It’s a lot easier to make fun of a 25 year old who thinks they’re way more important than they are and doesn’t know how to handle social media.
You know, the Sam McKinney situation this past season. It’s like, you’re never going to see anybody from the golden bachelorette run to the social media to talk about their edit or have their children take to the internet to say their father’s getting a bad edit. It’s just not going to happen because this show isn’t going to really put any of their contestants in a bad light.
One thing I did see though, this past weekend, Pascal’s daughter did take to the internet because he posted it on his own Instagram. She made a video about her dad, basically saying, Yeah, my dad is high maintenance because Pascal had never done his own laundry and stuff like that. But it wasn’t complaining about his edit.
It wasn’t anything like that. It was just, yes, this is my dad, but this is the way he grew up. He came to the United States with, I think she said 21 or 12 in his pocket. And he worked for everything he had. Now he’s got a very popular salon in Chicago. And this is just his lifestyle. It doesn’t make him a bad person, but this is just the way he knows life to be.
And. So it wasn’t really a complaint. At least that’s the way I took it. I didn’t see it as any sort of complaint, but yeah, his, his daughter was a very protective of Pascal as she, as she should be. So that was that was funny to hear, but yeah, you’re not going to get the show making fun of their contestants on the golden bachelorette, and you’re not going to have any of these contestants taking to social media with their beefs about, oh, this wasn’t shown and this wasn’t shown.
It’s just, honestly, it’s a different show. So. If you’re asking though, for spoilers of who goes home, when outside of the final four, I have no idea. This podcast is brought to you by way.
