I’ve also got some Golden Bachelorette news. We’ve got some Golden Bachelor news mixed with Golden Bachelorette news.
This Gleb and Brooks Nader show. Are they, or aren’t they thing is still happening because they keep playing into it. So I’m sure they’re loving every bit of attention they’re getting out of this. And Jason Kelsey apologizes for what he did over the weekend. We’ll go over what he said during the pregame show of Monday night football last night, and we’ll get to all that momentarily.
So let’s get started with the biggest news of the day. Obviously, we know what today is, a very big day in this country, and that is the return of Maction to Tuesday night college football. That’s right. We’ve got Bowling Green at Central Michigan tonight. The Falcons taking on the Chippewas, fire up chips, and then we’ve got Miami, Ohio taking on Ball State.
Actually I’m kidding. It’s election night. I voted a week and a half ago. So, if you have not voted, get out and vote. Because it’s important. So I hear, you know, I don’t talk politics on this podcast. I don’t follow politics at least to a diehard level where I’m constantly reading bills online. And no, I just use common sense.
I have voted for both parties in the past. That’s what I do. I don’t let party lines determine where I’m going to vote. Kind of a crazy concept, but I use my own brain and I just decide, do I like this or do I like this? Do I like this or do I like this? Not because I’m a part of one party and they tell me that’s what I’m supposed to vote.
There are certain things that I’m liberal on, certain things that I’m conservative on. So every single election, I’m I decide who I like better and I vote for that person. And it’s simple as that. I don’t talk about it on my show. I don’t thrust it down anyone’s throat. I don’t tell anybody what they should do with their vote.
I don’t care. Honestly, what you vote doesn’t affect me in any way, shape or form. I have no idea what’s going to happen tonight. We’ll see what happens. You know, I, I hope if it goes one way that this is the end of it and. If that goes that way, and then we don’t have to hear about it anymore, but I have a feeling that’s not going to happen, unfortunately.
So basically I just, I just don’t want, I just. Don’t want us to be in a position where there’s just so much infighting. And I guess there’s always going to be that. It just seems like the division in this country is getting wider and wider. And it’s just disheartening to deal with. That’s why I don’t follow politics because it’s literally impossible to I wish you could have civil conversations with people that disagree with you, but that’s very hard, especially in times like these.
So, you know, we’ll see what happens tonight. And. Go from there. I have no idea. Obviously, if you’re reading one side of the one side of it, they’ll be like, Oh my gosh, it’s going to be a blowout. And then the other side’s like, no, it’s going to be a blowout this way. It’s like, okay, well, it can’t be blow.
You can’t have a blowout on both sides, you know, but that’s the way politics go. Each side is telling you what you want to hear. That’s why I just determined like, look, every four years, I’m going to go into it and be like, who do I like better? And just kind of go from there. So let’s see what happens tonight.
I will be watching the King John King, because that guy is going to be telling me about some County in the state of Pennsylvania that has 807 with a population of 876, and he can tell me how they voted in 1974. That guy is on crack all night long. I don’t know how he does it on election night, but I remember four years ago, I was up to like three or four in the morning watching that guy and this guy’s breaking down counties and I know Kornacki does it for the other one.
And some of you are Steve Kornacki fans, which is fine. I’m just impartial to the king because number one, he gives me statistics that are just bonkers. And number two, he has to work with his ex wife who with a name of D A N A, you can’t call her Dana. Call me Dana and the fact that John King has to work with his ex wife on election night for hours on end Yes, my friends and I have running jokes about that on election night that we’ll be texting each other all night long but yeah I’ll be watching the King tonight because some of the information that that guy comes up with About hey, look at this County down here and then you know, 1978 They had a majority and Whoa, dude, you know, way too much about counties.
It’s kind of like me with knowledge about the 88 Dodgers or back to the future karate kid, just giving you meaningless information and not saying this stuff is meaningless, but it’s just amazing how he can pull this stuff from off the top of his head and like, Oh yeah, an 88, they voted this way. But in 90.
You know, in 96, they voted this way. What? How do you remember that? And I’m not talking about like New York city. I’m talking about, like I said, some County in Northeast North Carolina or something like that, you know, he’s awesome. One thing about the golden bachelorette. So when I posted the first spoilers, which I think was like a week or two after filming, it ended.
I had said that obviously Joan was with guy and then I changed that. I think it was right. It was the morning. Maybe it was the Monday or Tuesday before Joan’s season started and I said that she’s with Chalk and the one thing that I didn’t know was whether or not she’s engaged. Over the last six weeks, because people have asked me, have you have any update?
And it’s the one thing about Instagram that drives me nuts, is you can’t go into an old post and add to it. You literally have to do a whole new post. And, you know, you look at my Instagram feed, it says Golden Bachelorette spoilers, and it says, You know what I posted that first week of the season that she is with chalk.
I don’t know if she’s engaged. I’ve mentioned it on the podcast, but again, not everybody listens to the podcast every single day, so they can’t take every bit of information that I have. And I know I’ve brought it up sometime in the last six or seven weeks. Why the golden match red has been airing. Joan is engaged to chalk.
This shouldn’t be news. I’ve, I’ve mentioned it here and there probably, I don’t know, twice, maybe three times over the last seven weeks. Once I found out that she definitely was engaged, but yeah, she’s, she’s engaged and they’re still together. I don’t know what their living plans are. We’ll find that out on after the final rose chalk lives in Indiana, as we know, she’s in DC.
So I don’t know if he’s moving there. She’s certainly not moving to Indiana. So maybe they’re going to find a home. Close to her or whatever. I don’t know, but we will find out. I’m sure on after the final rose night finale night, for sure. And speaking of golden bachelorette mixed with golden bachelor. I brought this up, I believe yesterday where, or maybe it was the end of last week where there was a picture of Leslie FEMA who finished second on Gary season with Jordan Heller, who finished fourth on Jones season, they were seen together.
It took a picture together and Leslie was on the almost famous podcast where I got a shout out from her. Thank you, Leslie. She shouted out that. Myself and Ben and Ashley are the only podcasters that have pronounced her name correctly. It’s not Leslie. It’s Leslie. I see L E S L I E. I get it. Some people say Leslie, but I guess I’ve always, I honestly, I didn’t even know I was pronouncing it Leslie.
I guess I was because she. Shouted me out on their podcast. So thank you, Leslie, or you’re welcome, Leslie. I appreciate it. But they asked her, Hey, what’s going on with you and Jordan? You took a picture together. She said he had a suite at a soccer game in LA, his childhood friend, like is the president of the club.
And he had a suite and he invited her. She was already in LA because she was at a dance with the stars taping for Joey and Jen. So she has said, even since that game, they have been texting a little bit. And she has no idea they’re not dating, but they are still in contact. She said, I don’t know where it would go.
If it’s going to go, I just think he’s a great guy. And to be friends with him first is fine with me. She said, I like Jordan. When I was watching the show, I liked him the best for me. I thought all the guys were great. If it was me, if I was the golden bachelorette and he was on that show, you know, how you think.
So, I don’t think it’s very far fetched to think that these two could end up together. She also said they’re both Jewish. At the end of the day, that’s important to me as well. It’s not a hard stop, but if you meet someone and they are, that’s just icing on the cake. So, she’s in Minnesota, he’s in Chicago, very close to each other.
They have been talking after spending time together at a football game in L. A. If we find out that Leslie and Jordan end up dating or spending some more time together, should we be surprised? No, there’s nothing wrong with that. They seem to have met. They have a lot in common. They’re both Jewish. She thinks that’s a big deal or she it’s not a deal breaker for her, but it’s definitely a bonus.
