Nick Cannon acknowledges that he needs help as he reveals his narcissistic personality disorder diagnosis.
I guess he got this within the last month and obviously mental health issues are very serious in this country. I don’t know enough about narcissistic personality disorder, but is part of the fact that He’s had sex numerous times and had 12 children with numerous different women just since 2011 alone, including cheating on women that he was with.
I’m assuming that plays a role in this narcissistic personality disorder that he has. Again, craziness to have that many children in a span of 13 years. He’s got 12 children in the last 13 years. So yeah, clearly he had some overlap there where as he impregnated somebody else. He had sex with somebody else and impregnated them too.
So, I mean, I guess it’s good for him to openly talk about this. I am like, yeah, I guess we could maybe have guessed that you might be a narcissist when you just choose to spread your seed around the whole city and impregnate 12 women, women in the last 13 years. But what do I know? A couple of final things about Wicked that.
I brought up yesterday and I said, how are they going to do this for best actress and supporting actress or both? Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande gonna be up for best actress. It’s gonna be one or the other. How did it? How is it even determined? Well googling yesterday and getting some emails from you The listeners looks like Cynthia Erivo is gonna be up for best actress and Ariana is gonna be up for supporting actress even though I, I’m sure bachelor data could probably do a breakdown of who got the most screen time.
It had to be pretty even. I mean, it wasn’t like one dominated over the other. And even if there was a domination, I don’t even know when I was Googling, they just, they didn’t really specify what categorizes somebody to be in actress versus supporting. You would think it would be screen time, but these two were the stars of the movie.
So from everything I read, Cynthia is going to be up for best actress and Ariana is getting, it will absolutely be up for best supporting actress. So it looks like they’re both getting nods. I’m sure the movie will be up for best picture. The one thing that, as I said, I’m very out on the Oscars. Haven’t watched them in years because none of the movies that are up for best picture I ever watch, because they’re usually movies that are released in smaller theaters and they do well at film festivals, which don’t interest me.
So. I didn’t really know how it worked. The last musical to win best picture was 1968. We all thought La La Land won it, but that was the year that they screwed up the announcement and it was actually Moonlight that won that year. So that would have been somewhat recent, but I think late sixties was the last time a musical won best picture.
I don’t know if this movie will win best picture, but I’d put it up against any picture this year. I absolutely think Cynthia Erivo should win best actress. And I can say that without even seeing any of the other movies that I guarantee any of the other women that are up for best actors were even in, I’m that biased.
And I think Ariana Grande should win because she was just as good if I mean they’re on an equal playing field to me. They were, they were, they were excellent. The one thing that I didn’t know about that you listeners inform me was I said yesterday, Hey, defying gravity should win song of the year. And if they don’t, there’s something wrong.
Well, I didn’t realize best song at the Oscars has to go to an original song, a song that was made just for a movie, not a song that’s been around for a while. That just becomes part of a movie. Cause obviously defying gravity is part of the play. I did not know that. Well, that sucks because I think one thing that everybody would want to see At the Oscars in, what are they, February, March, whatever.
One thing people would want to see at the Oscars, I would think, would be Cynthia Erivo performing Defying Gravity. I think it almost has to be. If she’s up for Best Actress, and the movie is up for Best Picture, okay, I get that it can’t be up for Best Song, but she needs to perform it. Somehow, someway, shoehorn it in there, I don’t think anybody’s going to complain.
Especially when I think a lot of people think she’s going to win Best Actress. Let her have her moment as well to sing that song on stage. And finally, today’s black Friday. I’ve never been much of a black Friday guy, even when it was more about going into the stores, whether it was at 12 0 1 AM or whatever.
Now black Friday is basically this week is black Friday week. I don’t think it makes any difference if you have to order it on Friday, because don’t the deals start Wednesday, Thursday hell, some of them probably started Monday. So. I would, I never went to the stores. I never tried to trample over somebody to get an X Box at Best Buy or something like that.
You read those stories all the time when it became a big deal, but it’s just so easy now to shop online and get stuff delivered to you the same day. Why would I get in my car and drive and have to deal with traffic, traffic and crowds, something I absolutely hate. More than anything. Traffic I’m fine with, because podcasts and radio gets me through traffic.
It’s crowds and lines. Can’t, I don’t want to deal with them. So, why would I possibly want to go shopping when I can just order anything I want and have it delivered to me within days? You could say like, maybe to get out of your house? I guess so. That’s not a big enough reason for me at this point in my life.
I think I’ve gotten, yes, I’m probably that old man saying, get off the lawn. I’m at that point now where I’m just like, I don’t want to deal with people. I don’t want to deal with crowds and lines and just madness at a mall. Not for me. No, thanks. Anyway. all for listening. Really appreciate it.
