Yesterday called Enigma and he discussed the falling out he’s had with his family. He brought up Jordan specifically what he thought about his bachelorette gig. So we have some stuff to talk about here. James Kennedy releases his first statement since his arrest last week on domestic violence charges.

Promos, Aaron Rogers had a Netflix documentary that dropped yesterday called Aaron Rogers Enigma, and it’s a three part document documentary where, look, he’s one of the more bizarre personalities in the NFL. Great player, five, seven quarterback of all time. No joke.
He had a run there where he dominated the quarterback position in the NFL. He’s pretty much fallen off now. I don’t think he has much time left as evidenced by what we’ve seen of him with the jets this year. But he’s more known for his conspiracy theories, all of his appearances on the Pat McAfee show and any interview he does, you know, he promotes a certain agenda.
That’s for sure. And he’s likes to think of himself as a. Conspiracy theorist, a free thinker, thinks themselves, says whatever he wants. And I think a lot of the times he does things to get a rise out of people. So that’s, what’s made him more famous in the last couple of years. Cause last year he was out with an Achilles tear and this year the jets have sucked and he’s been not very good, but this documentary gets released yesterday.
And for our purposes here on the daily roundup, we’re just going to focus on what he said about his brother, Jordan Rogers. Now I do want to make this disclaimer. I feel that I have a, an acquaintanceship with Jordan now after him and Jojo came on my podcast, When we promoted the Big D, but we finally talked about everything that went down during their season Jordan has been on my sports podcast twice at the beginning of last football season and this football season I can feel like I can text Jordan at any time and he will get back to me at some point We’re not buddies.
I still have never met him and I’m not sitting here saying this is all anti Aaron Rodgers because I don’t like, because I’m buddies with Jordan. This is anti Aaron Rodgers because he’s exhausting and he’s nauseating to listen to because I feel like he hasn’t done any homework and he likes to say things to get a rise out of people.
And I just feel like his career, he’s, he’s at the tail end of his career and he wants to stay relevant. I think that’s why he says some of the things that he does. And I just have never had much of a liking for people who love conspiracy theories anyway. You know, I just, They, they bother me. So I’ve just, I’m not been a fan of him, love him as a football player, at least back in the day when he was really good, loved watching him play.
But I can separate the football player from the person. I just don’t think he’s a good guy and he looks like a miserable human being. He’s never really happy out there on the football field. So I can get into a bunch of stuff there, but let’s just talk about what he said on this documentary. And he was talking about the fact that he wasn’t really close to anybody in his family.
He said, I wasn’t super duper close with anybody in the family. I was close with my little brother, but in actuality, it goes back to stuff from high school that kind of made me feel distance stuff in college stuff, post college, and then he basically said his family had come to him in the, and. He, well, he was saying that he was quiet about his family issues because he thought the best way to do it was just not talk about it publicly.
And then. When he got into the Jordan stuff, he said, and what do they do? They go on a bullshit show and leave two empty chairs for those that don’t remember when he had his hometown date on Jojo season, it was him, his brother, Luke Jojo, his parents, and they left two empty chairs at the table. And they talked about the fact that their son, the.
The parents said their son, Jordan said, my brother, just not much of a relationship there at the time. I knew that wasn’t smart. I knew that that was going to get a lot of attention. And I also knew that that was 1000 percent set up by production. Could the family have stepped in and said, we’re not doing this.
I guess, but you also have to remember how many times have we said that about a contestant on the show? It’s ultimately on you. You can say, no, it’s very easy for us to, on the outside to say that yet we see people say and do things on the show all the time. And I don’t know if you really have a say, I don’t think they could have just put their foot down and said it regardless.
It happened. It didn’t look great. And then. Aaron Rogers went on to say in the documentary, they all agreed. This was a good thing to do to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous his words, not mine that he ended up winning, but a dinner that was during the season.
I was never asked to go to, not that I would have gone. And then they played the quote and that Jordan told Jojo at. During that date at every step of my life, I was kind of disappointed. No matter what I did, it was never good enough because I was being compared to someone who did it the best football.
Didn’t define me and not having a great relationship with my brother. Aaron didn’t define me. And at the time he said he hadn’t spoken to him in two years because the way he’s chosen to do life. So anytime you’re dealing with family issues, it’s very messy. And clearly there are two sides. I will never, and I have never asked Jordan about this.
Jordan will be on my podcast again, sometime in the future in my sports one, or maybe even my weekly one, but I will never ask him about this. It’s just not my position to, if he wants to talk about it, he will. I don’t think he’ll even respond to this because. I don’t think Jordan has said anything about this since 2016 when this aired.
So that’s my guess. I don’t think so. I mean, maybe the family does maybe the fair, cause this is the first time Aaron has really put any time into talking about why the family dynamic has been so strained. And maybe the family will respond and say why they did what they did at the hometown date. Either way, I don’t plan on watching Enigma.
I did see the clip of the stuff I just read to you. And, as I’ve said, Aaron Rodgers just comes across as such a blowhard and a know it all and just a smug asshole. He really does. And, I just, you know, look, I think he thought he was getting over and like kind of insulting Jordan by saying what he did.
Like, Hey, he went on this show. My brother went on to get famous. His words, not mine. Look, when Jordan was on the show and when Jordan was on my podcast, if you listened to his answer, when I asked him about how it all came about, I don’t think Jordan went on this show with the intention of finding a wife.
He made that clear in his answer. He never thought in a million years, it was going to lead to this. He clearly was in negotiations with ESPN, but they wanted him. He said this on the podcast. They wanted to see how he presented himself on TV. And so this was an opportunity. His agent went to him and said, maybe you should do this.
And he did like. I don’t think he planned on ever getting engaged on this show, but things happen and now they’re still together. So if Aaron, I think Aaron might’ve had a point if Jordan and Jojo lasted six months or a year and broke up and aren’t, they’ve been together since 2016. They’ve been married since what?
2021. They got married. Maybe it was 2022. Like, I think Aaron just comes across as a smug asshole is the best way to put it. He’s always been this way. He’s so surly and every. Interview he does. He thinks he knows more than anybody else. And some of the conspiracy theories he throws out are absolute garbage.
So I don’t know if you want to go check it out. That’s the main part of what this has to do with bachelor nation. It’s just funny that he’s calling Jordan out for going on the show and putting that out there. And now here he is talking about it saying he didn’t appreciate that, which. Look, I’m sure it was weird.
That, that happened at the time. I remember covering it and being like, wow. Producers really put them up to that. I’m guessing the family wasn’t like, please, can we have two empty seats here to throw our son under the bus? I would have been really surprised, but again, I don’t know the answer. I’m just saying as an outsider perspective, I really have a hard time believing Jordan and his brother, Luke and the parents were telling the producers, can we please have two empty seats here to make it known that we’re not close to our son slash brother anymore.
