Jennifer Love Hewitt is in the news. You know, she’s one of my all time favorites. We’ll discuss what she said in an interview. An all time Christmas movie classic could have had an all time director but he quit because he hated Chevy Chase. Not surprising. And we’ve got an update on Wicked. What’s the update you hear?
It’s going to be on streaming in four days. Five days? Four days? What’s the date today? 27th? Four days. With a lot of new stuff. We’ll get to all that momentarily. All right. So in case you missed it, Susie Evans went on the almost famous podcast, the one that’s hosted by Trista Sutter. Cause sometimes Trista and Bob Ginney host it.
And then other, and then most of the time it’s obviously Ben and Ashley. Well, she went on the almost famous podcast and was asked about where she and Justin stand at the moment, because if you’ve followed her Instagram over the last couple of weeks, she and Justin spent a lot of time together still yet.
They broke up. I mean they, they broke up in what August, but we saw them at Dance with the Stars. We’ve seen a couple group pictures that they were in. One was at Disneyland recently, so she was asked What’s up, and Susie said, we are working on things and seeing if it makes sense for us and taking things slow, taking things privately.
We are just kind of seeing what really makes sense for us. She said it’s been cool, they’ve been able to maintain a positive friendship and while she remains on good terms with him. She shared that the next step include figuring out if their romantic connection has any longevity to it. She said, I think a big thing in life is compatibility.
We’re just at points in our life where we have to figure out. If we are compatible, so at least she’s addressing it because when you break up with somebody, for the most part, usually you don’t spend a lot of time with them and you aren’t seen out with them and you’re not hanging out with them and taking pictures of them with them at dance with the stars are going on group.
Outings to Disneyland. So we knew they were obviously on good terms, but they were always the two of them together. So good to hear that Susie and Justin working on things, as I always say in situations like this, whether it’s people that I know people that are, that I don’t know, like these two, and it comes to bachelor nation couples or.
Again, couples that I just know myself, I always try to remind people of one thing when it comes to situations like this. Just remember they’re your ex for a reason. Never forget that. I’m not saying that people who have broken up once can never get back together and it can work. It has. Are you in the minority?
Yes, just remember they are your ex for a reason. It’s perfectly fine for them to be exes and remain friends, but maybe they are going to give it another shot. Somebody might want to fill Kylie in on that bit of advice. Even is your ex for a reason. And in your particular situation, Kylie, the reason is he cheated on you and you found out about it and then you took him back and then didn’t it happen again?
Either way, she can do what she wants. It’s her life, but I think a lot of people looking at it from the outside, it’s almost like, what more evidence do you need? With Susie and Justin, as far as we know, no cheating happened because if cheating did happen, I don’t think they would be as close so soon after their breakup and spend as much time as they have post breakup.
We know why Kylie and Aiden broke up. She told us she went on a podcast and told everybody and told everybody how embarrassed she was by the whole thing. And then she took them back. Jennifer Love Hewitt is in the news because she told a outlet Fox new digital. She says that fans have a hard time accepting that she doesn’t look the same as she did when she was 20.
So kind of like an ageism thing with her. She said, I feel like fans pick this age that they love, that they think represents you. And you’re never supposed to grow beyond that. For me. It was like me in my twenties, people seem to have a really hard time accepting that I don’t look that way anymore as I sheepishly raise my hand behind the microphone here.
No, I, it’s not that I’m not accepting that she doesn’t look that way anymore. I get it. You’re not going to look the same when you’re 45 and you deal with your 20. I can accept that she doesn’t look the way she does that she did when she was 20. My whole thing is it’s like that’s the way I’ve always pictured her because even at 45 I think she looks great.
But the Jennifer Love Hewitt that I grew up with party of five I know what you did last summer Can’t hardly wait. It’s not that. No, I refuse to believe Jennifer. Love Hewitt is 45 It’s just that those are the movies that I grew up on and those are the movies that made me such a Jennifer Love Hewitt fan slash stalker when I was in my 20s and You know, what’s interesting?
And this is still related to Jennifer Love Hewitt, kind of a tangent, because I just read about this the other day. I always knew she was on a show called The Client List. I think it was on Lifetime, wasn’t it? I never watched one episode of The Client List. But somehow I came across a clip where she was talking about it or maybe somebody else was talking about it And I I guess I really never knew the plot of what the client list was I had no idea it was about a single mom who had just gotten divorced and opened up a Massage parlor and was basically giving happy endings to clients And she was running this double life of being this innocent stay at home mom, but on the side, she was running a mini brothel in a small hometown.
And guys were just showing up because they found out what she did during her massages. I’m like, what? How did I not watch every episode of this show? This is Jennifer Love Hewitt. What don’t remember that at all. I certainly remember the client list. I just never watched it. I had no idea that it was, that’s what it was about, but now I do.
I saw that and maybe a binge watches in my future. No, I’m kidding. I remember like, cause I remember the ghost whisperer, not that I was a fan of that show. I watched maybe two episodes of that and she was on that for a while. I can’t even remember if ghost whisperer was before or after the client list.
Hell if I know. But yeah, I had no idea that was the plot to the client list where she was leading a double life and guys were just word of mouth finding out about what she did in her little massage parlor and making in this whole struggle with look at how much money I can make and provide for my family.
But probably crossing my moral and ethical lines as I’m supposed to have this sweet, innocent mother reveal. What ended up being the series finale to that? Did she get caught? Was it something like that? And she ended up going to jail? I think I read this was somehow based on a story that came out of a, a small Texas town.
I think it was based on a, a true story about a quote unquote, you know, kind of a prostitution ring or something like that running out of a massage parlor. Either way. Fascinating stuff. Anyway, Jennifer, you look great for 45. I just, in my head. Can’t hardly wait. Party of five. I know what you did last summer is the Jennifer that had me going.
Not to mention the 17 year old that was on the cover of Maxim magazine when I was 21, 22. Yeah. Those were iconic as well.
